"Experiencing loss is part of life. It cannot always be avoided." Calyrex's voice said as a scene showed Master Fu looking at a picture of Marianne. "Some lose the love of their life."

Another scene then showed both Bourgeois parents arguing during the planning of their wedding anniversary. "Some lose the harmony in their relationship."

Another scene showed Chloe sadly turning off the Queen Bee signal as she walked off. "Some people lose hope."

Another scene then showed Cat Noir and Ladybug talking as Cat Noir looked disappointed. "Some lose their patience."

Another scene showed the New Universal Villains doing their business as some of them rushed to Natalie's side. "Others lose their souls."

A little later, a scene where Adrien was looking at his phone and smiled at a photo of Kagami. "Some lose their certainties."

And the final scene showed Luka making a few deliveries along with a scene of the heroes doing their business. "And others...they have nothing to lose."

"Come on." Mari said to herself as she was working hard on the computer in her lab. "Where are you?"

"And who exactly are you looking for?" Miles asked.

"Trying to find Gardle's exact location." Mari said.

"Gardle? That Nephilim you and Spirit Force have been fighting against?" Miles asked.

"The very same. We've been dealing with the Mutos Reploids under his command, hoping to use their data to pinpoint his location. But so far, no luck." Mari said as she took her glasses off and pinched her nose.

"Hmm...depends...what exactly does this guy want?" Miles asked curiously. "If there's something he's after, you could use that as an advantage."

"He wants to destroy Devaloka after suggesting to declare war but was excommunicated as a result. We managed to stop one of his plans which was trying to bring Infernals into our world." Mari said. "And he knows something about Simon that we don't."

"Then that is your answer. Use Simon to lure him out." Miles said.

"Miles has a point about that. Maybe it's not you who has to find him, but Simon." David said.

"Animals use this technique in the wild. You set out some bait, wait for the prey to get close, and once it's in range...bam! Instant takedown. Works perfectly with pack hunters." Miles said.

"It's worth a shot, but knowing he's a strategist, he'll probably be expecting it. Still, we have to try." Mari said.

"You just need to lure him to a world that is in total chaos already. So he won't truly expect anything." Miles said.

"A world in total chaos…" Mari muttered before a lightbulb lit up. "I've got it!" she said, putting in coordinates for the Darkness Universe.

"The Darkness Universe. Excellent choice. That place is chaotic thanks to the darkness within it." Miles said. "Plus it's almost impossible to control dark beings there since it's so close to it. So he won't be able to summon backup."

"Then that will be where we'll stop him once and for all." Mari said. "Thanks you two." she said before the alarm went off as she brought up a live feed of a giant two faced pink head, one male, and one female.

"Is...that the mayor? And Audrey?" Miles said.

"They go by Heart Hunter now. We need to…" Mari said as the feed cut out before being replaced with normal shots of Paris. "What the?"

"Now the alarm's dying down." Miles said as he looked at the video. "Something's not right. Check all the news stations in Paris!"

"Just did. They're all showing the same stuff. Reporters reporting on how the wedding anniversary is today." Leia said.

"This video is edited." Lan said.

"DaDan." Mari said.

"Something's up…" Tails said checking feed on a camera he placed. "Only local news stations are getting this. Everything else is showing the Heart Hunter eating up the love."

"The alarm was set to detect akumatized villains. Whatever is going on, they don't want us getting involved." Leopardmon said.

"Could Hawk Moth be making his move?"

"Every day is his move. Let's just beat the bad guy and call it a day." Frosta said as the heroes ran off.

"David, with what's going on, it's too dangerous for you and Sectonia to fight this one. You two should stay here for the time being." Leopardmon said.

"He's got a point. They may be taking into account for you guys since your love is so strong. You'll end up targets of Hearthunter." Rarity said.

"I understand. I'll hold the fort here." David said.

"Don't worry. We'll take care of this like always." Hope said.

Elsewhere…

"Okay...I got the peaceful Paris video running on every news station. But I doubt it's going to fool those hero guys." DaDan said.

"That's fine. It doesn't need to last forever." Boba said. "Everyone, what's your status?"

"I've cut the cable and that Chloe girl is throwing a major fit." Toga said. "It's working just like we planned."

"I'm relieved she's so lost in her hero fantasy." Techno said. "Spinner, are you in place?"

"Yes. I'm keeping an eye on Ladybug and the heroes. But why?" Spinner asked.

"I'm certain the master is who she goes to for the Miraculous. Moment she leaves to seek his aid, follow her." Hawk Moth said.

"Right now, she's just fighting and...Oh! She got the lucky charm! And...it's a merry go round ticket?" Spinner said. "She's leaving. I'm going to chase after her."

"Just be sure to stay close to the shadows. We must be covert about this." Hawk Moth said.

"Understood." Spinner said as he crawled across the walls of several buildings to keep up with her. "Damn, she's fast." he said before finally seeing her arriving at a park. "An old man...no doubt. That's him. Attention, New Universal Villains! The Master is at the park next to the merry go round. Lock in on my comm signal."

"Locked in." Techno said, smiling as he looked at the screen projected from his arm. "Boys and girls… we found him."

"So...shall we finally go claim our prizes?" Frieza asked.

"Without question." Shigaraki said.

"Out we go." Techno said as they moved out.

With Master Fu, as he prepared to pack up, Spinner approached.

"Hello, master. I think you've seen enough of the news to know who I am." Spinner said as the villains were slowly beginning to go by his side. "But...seeing as how you're a civilian, we'll give you a choice. Tell us who the bug and cat are."

"I would never do that." Master Fu said.

"Then help us get their Miraculous then." Spinner said.

"You will never have them. Wayzz…" Master Fu said.

"Master, you cannot…" Wayzz said.

"Shell On!" Master Fu said as he soon became a hero known as Jade Turtle. "Shell-ter!" he said creating a barrier around himself.

"Ha!" Jasper said, trying to hit it. "Damn...it won't crack."

"Yeah...that thing is definitely invincible. Too bad he didn't take these with him." Dabi said, holding the Miracle Box and then opening it.

"We...we actually did it. The Miraculous are ours!" DaDan said.

"We currently have six in play. If we count the Peacock and Butterfly...that leaves us with 15 different Miraculous for us to use." Compress said.

"Well done, gentlemen, ladies. We've done good." Techno said as Neo handed him the Bee Miraculous. "Now...if you'll excuse me….I have an important date with a queen."

"What about the old man?" Jasper asked.

"Keep him alive, but take him to the place we discussed. He knows secrets about these jewels we don't." Techno said. "And we're going to probe him for every bit of info we can."

"Understood." Boba said as he motioned for Jasper and Pete to lift the barrier, allowing the villains to depart as Techno split off from them, heading for Le Grand Paris.

It was a bit later at the rooftop that Chloe throws her signal off the roof as she sulks.

"Ah...rejection...it hurts, doesn't it? Your talents deserve to be recognized. The heroes' reign has gone on long enough. It's time for a new queen, and Queen Bee is on our chessboard." Hawk Moth said, arriving with Techno.

"You akumatized my parents! If I had a Miraculous, I'd…" Chloe said.

'But that's the thing, you don't." Techno interrupted. "The heroes decided that you couldn't be trusted, that you just weren't meant to be one of them. And that just stings, doesn't it?"

"Which is why we did this. To show that Ladybug and the heroes will never again give you a Miraculous. We, however, always keep our promises." Hawk Moth said as Techno showed the Bee Miraculous.

"This isn't real! How do you have that?" Chloe demanded.

"Try it on for yourself. You are Ladybug and Sectonia's biggest fan. Of course, both of them did decide to reject you outright. Wouldn't even bother to make you part of their hero teams." Techno said. "It's a shame, really. You have so much potential, don't you?"

"Yeah...but...they choose to keep me away from it. I thought I could trust them. I'm done with them. They are irrelevant. Totally irrelevant!" she said grabbing the Miraculous. "But you gotta de-akumatize my parents first!"

"Whatever you say, my queen." Hawk Moth said as Chloe donned the Bee Miraculous.

"Your majesty, don't…" Pollen tried to say.

"SIlence! You will speak when spoken to. Your loss, heroes. Pollen, Buzz on!" Chloe said as she became Queen Bee once more.

"Wow...this could not have gone more smoothly. So did you…" Techno said.

"It's already done. Heart Hunter is no more. And I have a fresh Akuma ready to be used." Hawk Moth said as he sent it to Chloe's spinning top. "Miracle Queen, I'm letting you take over Paris and order a team of superheroes. But in exchange…"

"You want the Cat and Ladybug Miraculous. That's fine. You can have them. As soon as I crush them and Sectonia!" Chloe said as the Akuma took hold.

Elsewhere in the park…

"No…" Marinette said seeing it deserted.

"There was definitely a fight here. Looks like the villains finally made their move." Fuyuhiko said.

"I feel a disturbance… Chloe…" Sectonia said.

"Yeah… It seems like she was their target all along. They used her resentment to their advantage." David said.

"And with the rest of the Miraculouses in their possession, they have the edge over us." Leopardmon said.

"But we still have a shot. They're all still in Paris, right? So let's go and take them back." Chiaki said.

"Chiaki is right. If we're gonna fix everything, now may be our only chance. Sectonia, you might have to fight Chloe again. Are you sure you're up to it?" David asked.

"Don't worry. I'm up to it. If it's me she wants, then I'll do everything in my power to get through to her." Sectonia said. "I'm going to show her that I haven't given up on her yet."

"That's the ticket, Sectonia!" ZS said. "Let's go save the day!"

"Yeah...we'll triumph yet." Jexi said as they went off.

"(Hang on, Chloe… I'm going to save you.)" Sectonia thought.
