The Cooper Gang entered the hospital with Harry Grimbridge. The hospital was full of humans. They all looked at the 3 anthropomorphic animals bringing the human man in with mild concern. Sly reached the receptionist's desk. The receptionist was a human Caucasian woman with dark hair, green eyes and glasses.
"Hi," the raccoon said to the receptionist. "My name is Sly. Sly Cooper. These are my friends: Bentley and Murray." Sly said, introducing his friends to the receptionist.
"What are you in here for?" The receptionist said to the raccoon.
"Me and my friends found a man in a junkyard," Sly explained. "He was running away from someone. He looked in distress. So, the logical thing was to bring him here in the hospital."
"Ok," the receptionist said. "You guys wait here. I'll send Dr. Challis to come here to check over him. Why don't you guys wait in the hallway?"
Sly and his friends waited in the hall. They pondered what they should do with the human. They were concerned for his safety. The Cooper Gang had never encountered a human before, so they didn't know what Harry's behavior would be like. Would Harry be hostile towards the Cooper Gang? Would Harry escape? They had a bunch of questions flowing through their mind.
A few minutes later, a doctor walked through the hallway door, along with a bunch of nurses and doctors. They approached the human man. Dr. Challis saw 3 anthropomorphic animals: a male grey raccoon wearing blue clothing, a male green turtle wearing glasses and a pith helmet and a male pink hippopotamus who was wearing an outfit that would make a WWF wrestler laugh.
"What's going on down here?" the auburn haired man asked. "What happened?"
Sly, Murray and Bentley explained the entire situation to Dr. Challis: about how they came from a another universe, how a creepy Halloween themed jingle teleported them there and how they found the man in the junkyard.
"We found the man running away from someone." Bentley said. "He was holding some sort of mask."
"Was that mask orange?" Harry suddenly asked. "Did it have a funny design on it?"
"How'd you know?" Sly asked curiously.
Suddenly, the Silver Shamrock commercial came on a TV that was on the corner of a wall. The human laying in the gurney slowly turned his head toward the TV. He started to panic.
"They're coming." Harry whispered. "They're coming."
"Who?" the auburn haired doctor asked. "Who's coming?"
"Don't know," the hippo said. "He said something about a mask company. I think it was called Silver Shamrock."
"Silver Shamrock?" the doctor asked. "As in the mask company?"
"They make masks?" the raccoon asked.
"Yes." one of the doctors said. "The Silver Shamrock Mask Company is located in Santa Mira, a town that is not too far from here."
"Why would a children's Halloween mask company be going after this poor man?" the turtle asked.
"I have no idea." the auburn haired doctor said. "What are your guys's names?"
"My name is Sly Cooper," the raccoon said. "My real name is Sylvester, but most people call me Sly."
"My name is Bentley." the turtle said.
"My name is Murray." the hippo said. "What is your name?"
"My name is Dr. Dan Challis." the auburn haired man said. "I work in this hospital."
"Speaking of which, where are we?" the raccoon asked Dr. Challis.
"You're in Northern California," Dr. Challis said. "In the year 1982."
"Ok," Sly said. "That's good to know."
Sly and his friends walked away from Dr. Challis and the other doctors. They couldn't believe what they just heard. There was no way that they could be in the year 1982? How was this possible? The van didn't have a time machine. It was hard to believe that a silly little Halloween radio ad somehow time traveled them to northern California in the year 1982. It was impossible. Sly and his friends exited the hospital. They got into their van and drove off into the night.
