Ch 59 Trail Pt 1

February 19, 2024, 11: 50 AM

Mashu was now a few weeks into her pregnancy and her abdomen is like seven months in, Narcissa was with her all times. Mashu asks her questions about raising a child in her experience and how does she do it.

Narcissa laughs at the questions that were asked of her. "Mashu, raising a child is not as simple as you think. There's no handbook on raising perfect children, it's all instinct. Let your instinct guide you." she said to her.

Mashu nodded. "R-Right," she said rubbing her abdomen.

"I can see you're scared, what is it Mashu?" Narcissa asked.

Mashu shook her head. "No, it's not like that. I was wondering if the baby will look like me or Senpai." She said truthfully.

"You did want to wait until he or she is born. Just don't think of it too much." She said.

"You're right, Narcissa-sama. I should just be happy that he or she is born and healthy." Mashu said.

Narcissa smiles at her. "That's right, as long the baby is healthy then everything is going to be fine. That's what I feel when I was pregnant with Draco."

Mashu nodded suddenly a weird sensation cause her to place her hand on her stomach. "Is something wrong Mashu?" Narcissa asked.

"I-I'm not sure, I felt something in my abdomen just a moment," Mashu said as Narcissa moves in to check her stomach. Narcissa waited for a moment for anything to happen when she felt something, she smiles and looked at Mashu. "Narcissa-sama, is something wrong with the baby?" Mashu asked.

"I think what you're feeling is the baby kicking," Narcissa said letting her hand go from Mashu's abdomen.

Mashu's eyes widen as her hands were on her stomach. She waited for a moment when she felt a kick, Mashu sheds a tear after feeling her baby's kick. "You…you are just full of surprises," she said rubbing her abdomen.

The doors open to her Pseudo-brother who just stop in the middle of the door. "Onii-san, come here. The baby's kicking." She smiles at him.

"Mashu, I-I shouldn't. I-"Narcissa got up and took Galahad by the hand and place it on Mashu stomach feeling the baby kick.

Galahad's eyes widen feeling the baby, "So tiny, yet strong." He said smiling at his future Pseudo-nephew or niece.

"You can tell how strong the baby is by kicking Onii-san?" Mashu asked.

Galahad nodded. "Yes, the baby will be a strong one." He said before getting up. "I almost forgot why I'm here, master is going to escort the prisoners to the Ministry for the trail. He wanted to tell you that you're staying here."

Mashu shot up at him. "Why? I should be with Senpai, I'm his assistant-"

"He said that you are now on maternity leave, Koyanskaya will be taking over your duties as assistant Director for the meantime." Galahad said, "It won't be long, just focus on being safe and healthy."

Mashu nodded understanding why Ritsuka did this. She looks at Galahad, "Hai, I will do that."

Galahad smiles. "That's good to hear, Mashu. If you would excuse me." He inclines his head before exiting her room.

Narcissa looks at Mashu, "Don't think of it as Ritsuka replacing you, he's just looking out for you and the baby's safety and health." She comforts her.

"I know that Narcissa-sama, Senpai always thinks of others. Recently he paid more attention to me." Mashu said. "I guess that's because of my pregnancy,"

"He does have your interest in mind," Narcissa said. "This is a show of love for you."

Mashu nodded. "And I love him because of that." She smiles.

Hermione and the other wizards spent almost weeks in the Outpost and things aren't that dull for a moment for them. She didn't see Sigurd for a while, guessing that he's doing something for Ritsuka

Hermione walks in the halls with various rooms she seen before but never entering them due to restrictions for Chaldea's polices.

She stops as one door opens to Fred and George laughing with a small brown-haired girl in a red dress and holding a staff in what looks like a mechanical arm. "And that's how I was able to be in two bodies at once."

"Man, I want to see your original body Rider," Fred said.

"Well if you pass the entrance exam for applying at Chaldea then you'll meet her proctoring the test." The little girl said.

"The Technology Division sounds fun to us, is there a test for it?" George asked.

The Rider nodded. "Yes, first you need to take a simple exam. This will be based on your personality then you chose which department you want to work in then you have a week or two to study before taking it, and you get the job." She smiles.

"Well that sounds simple enough," Fred said.

"If you're applying for the Technology Division then I have full confidence that you two will pass. You both are quite knowledgeable in technology and science for wizards." She said. "Uh, no offense." She smiles.

"None taken," the twins said in unison. They diverge their attention to Hermione who stands there watching them interacting with the girl.

"Oh, Hermione,"

"We didn't see you there." The twins said.

"Rider was telling us about how to work for Chaldea's Technology Division and various others," Fred said.

"That's right, a pleasure to finally meet you, Hermione. My name is Rider." Da Vinci said. "Seeing that you all pretty much know our little secret you may call me Da Vinci Lily,"

"Da Vinci?" Hermione questioned. "Is it because your work is compared to the inverter Leonardo Da Vinci?"

Da Vinci blinks only to figure out what she meant by that. "Oh no, those works you see in museums are created by me and my other self back at Chaldea."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Hermione, I'm the genuine Leonardo Da Vinci." Da Vinci smiles.

Hermione paused for a few minutes. "EEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHH! YOU'RE TELLING ME YOU'RE THE ACTUAL LEONARDO DA VINCI!"

Da Vinci and the twins cover their ears from Hermione's screeching. "Wow, I never knew that is how you react that way." The Lily said.

"B-B-B-But Leonardo Da Vinci is a man, not a little girl. This isn't right, how is it you're Da Vinci? Wait you said other-self, does it mean that other-self is a little girl too?" Hermione said in a frantic. "I'm so confused, there must be a reasonable explanation for this."

Da Vinci looks over to the twins. "Is she always like this?" Da Vinci asked.

"Every-"

"Time." They said sighing.

Da Vinci grabs Hermione by the shoulders. "Hermione calm down. If you do, I can explain everything to you," she said.

Hermione was hyperventilating like with Sigurd, Merlin, and the other Servants she has met. "Calm?" she asked.

Hermione nodded. "Yes," she gulps calming down.

"Good, now the reason me and my other self chose a female form is that I took inspiration from my painting the Mona Lisa." She said.

Hermione looks at the Lily Servant and instantly sees the resemblance of the famous painting of the inventor/artist. "Why did you take the form of the Mona Lisa?" she asked.

"The Mona Lisa represented the ideal beauty that I pursued during my life, so I feel nothing wrong in having become that beauty itself." Da Vinci explains. "Though my other self is an older version that created me for emergencies. Anyways did my explanation confuse you in some way?" she asked.

"N-No, I think I got the gist of it." Hermione stumbles a bit. "Sorry, it's hard to comprehend that you are a little girl now Da Vinci."

"Fully understandable, that's how Fujimaru and Mashu felt when I first met them." Da Vinci said. "Even after my presume death I manage to surprise them more than once." She said.

"What does that mean?" Fred asked her.

"Oh it's nothing to worry about," Da Vinci said.

"Alright," Hermione said before asking the Lily a question. "Uh, Da Vinci you said that there's an entrance exam for applying for Chaldea?" she said to the Rider.

"Oh right, let me tell you what I said to the twins…"

Ginny was reading the documents of Chaldea to get a feel on what they're doing. After reading the documents she got a full understanding of their purpose. "Ginny, how are you faring?" Ginny looks up to Ann and Mary walking to her.

"Rider, hello." Ginny greeted the two. "I'm doing just fine, just reading the documents of Chaldea in the library."

Mary leans in to see that she was in the Okeanos Singularity. "Okeanos huh, that's where we first met master." The small pirate said.

Ginny looks at Mary. "Really? Can you tell me how you guys met each other, I'm quite curious."

Ann scratches her cheek. "Well, we started rough. You see we're used to be enemies of master."

Ginny looks at them surprised to hear that they were enemies of Humanity. "But you're still on Ritsuka's side, right?" Ginny asked.

Mary sat beside Ginny and looks at her. "Yes, ever since we've been summoned, we protected Humanity for a long time." The small Rider said.

"As long we have our beloved master then we'll always be on humanity's side," Ann said before looking away. "You know I think it's time to disclose our true names to you, right?" Ann looks at Mary.

Mary nodded. "Yes, I believe you're right."

Ginny stood up looking at the Rider. "Just hold on for a moment, are you two sure about this? I mean revealing your true names to me will expose your weakness, right?"

"We know, and we decided that this is the appropriate time to tell you, Ginny," Ann said.

"If master trusts you then you have our full trust," Mary said.

Ginny nodded. "Alright, you can tell me your names." She said as both Riders nodded.

"My true name is Ann Bonny," Ann first said.

"And mine is Mary Read, I know you hardly know of our legend, but we are members of the most famous pirates in history," Mary said.

Ann picks up after her. "And we are extremely unique pirates. We were two female pirates on board the pirate ship Calico Jack lead by a man named John Rackham"

"Pirates, those muggles that raided ships at sea? Those types of pirates?" Ginny said. "Wow, if Hermione heard this then she'll freak out about you two."

"Yes, Hermione did freak out when Sigurd was revealed to her," Mary mutters.

"Sigurd? You mean the hero that slew the dragon Fafnir?" Ginny asked. "He's Hermione's bodyguard!?" she asked surprised to hear the name.

Ann snaps her fingers remembering something. "That's right you wizards study mythology due to being true for you," she said.

"Y-yes, sorry just trying to comprehend that he's here," Ginny said. "Just, wow Sigurd of all people. First was…I don't know anymore," she sighs forgetting who revealed their true names first.

Ann smiles patting her back. "Understandable, learn that we heroes are here protecting humanity will be hard to come to terms."

"I will get used to it given time," Ginny said.

Mary looked at Ginny, "Ginny do you want t work for Chaldea?" she asked.

Ginny looks down at the documents. "Well yeah, going to different places throughout time sounds fun yet scary." She looks at her bodyguards. "I want to help out wherever I can,"

"Do you have a specific preference on what position you want to work in?" Ann asked.

Ginny thought for a moment then looks down at the folders. "Well, I like the sound of being an operator in the control room. Though I might need some time to get used to the Technology you guys used. I think I can handle it."

"That sounds good to me, right Mary?" Ann asked.

"Yes, if that's what you want then go for it," Mary said.

"Thank you for you two's support." Ginny smiles at them.

Ritsuka was in the lobby ready to escort the prisoners to the Ministry of magic for their trial against the government. Sirius and Remus were with him along with the wizards who chose to ally themselves with Ritsuka. Sirius walks up to Ritsuka wanting to speak with him. "Ritsuka,"

Ritsuka turns around to his Godfather and smiles. "Uncle Sirius is there something you need?" he asked the Animagus.

"I just want to see how you're doing. Dumbledore's attack, you integrate everyone that you captured must be giving you a hard time." He said.

"You don't have to worry about me Uncle, I'm used to this when interrogating Kadoc and Pepe. This is just a bigger group than the last time." Ritsuka explains. "I had help this time."

Sirius nodded. "So, Merlin. Just wow you were able to summon him, I was expecting him to be an old man." He said.

"Oho, that was a prank that I did on you all." They all turn around to Merlin walking out of the dining room. "Ah, that was an amusing prank."

Sirius and the rest of the wizards inclined their heads. "Lord Merlin,"

Merlin sighs, "I should have guessed that you would be formal with me. Just call me Merlin, no lord nonsense. Formalities aren't my thing." He said

Remus walks next to Ritsuka, "Didn't expect Merlin to act this lay back,"

Ritsuka shrugs, "Eh, I'm used to it. I was shocked when I first met him during the Babylonia Singularity. I also too expected him to be an old man." He said.

"Ah, so I got you too Fujimaru," Merlin said.

"So Merlin what are you doing here?" Remus asked.

"I'm going to oversee the trial giving out punishments to those who deserve it." He smiled at them.

Ritsuka slightly smiles at the Grand Caster. "M-Merlin," Ritsuka sighs.

"FOU!" Fou kicks Merlin in the face.

"MERLIN!" the wizards reacted to the small beast that pounced on the messiah of the Wizarding World. They gather around the Grand Caster seeing that he's struggling against the beast.

"You feral Beast! I took you in and you do this to me!" Merlin said as Fou punches him. "I knew taking you in is a mistake!"

Sirius nudged on Ritsuka's arm. "W-What's going on?"

"What is that thing?" An Auror asked.

"Believe it or not that's Merlin's familiar," Ritsuka said.

"WHAT!" they all said as Merlin sat up holding Fou in his hands trying to get free. "Y-Yes, this was my familiar Cath Palug. I set him free to explore the world wounding up here of all places."

"Fou!" Fou cried as he kicks Merlin's chin and hopes over to Ritsuka's arms up to his shoulders.

"Fou took a liking to me and Mashu, I guess from letting him ride on our shoulders," Ritsuka said petting Fou with his fingers.

"Fou!" the beast played with Ritsuka's finger as he laughs.

"First Merlin, then his familiar, you're full of surprises Ritsuka," Remus said impressed of his nephew.

Ritsuka smiles before turning to the hallway where the Order and Ministry workers plus Fudge were escorted by Koyanskaya, Chaldean, and UN soldiers.

Arthur materialized next to Ritsuka along with Gawain, Lancelot, Tristan, Gareth, and Agravain. "Master the transport is ready," Arthur said.

"Right, thank you, Saber," Ritsuka said to the King.

Fudge looks up to see Sirius and Remus standing beside Ritsuka looking at them. "Black, Lupin, what are you doing with him!?" Fudge demanded.

Dumbledore looks at them with widening eyes. "I see you joined Harry, I'm disappointed in you two," he said still disoriented from Circe's interrogation.

Charles looks at them, "Why, why did you betray us, Uncle Remus and Uncle Sirius!" Charles said pulling on the line. "WHY!" he demanded.

Sirius looks away from his nephew regretting that he wasn't always there to guide him to the right path.

Remus too looked away from him to Ritsuka. "We'll be accompanying them to the ministry if anyone thinks to escape."

"It sounds like you are prepared for this Remus." A voice familiar to the two marauders causes them to look behind them.

"I-It can't be, Charles?" Sirius questions the figure before them.

"Yep, that's me; it's great to see you two again," Charlie said with a smile.

"How are you-"

"Here? Well, Ritsuka summoned me, I'm a fusion between Charles Potter and a Heroic Spirit that can't manifest on his own." The Saber said.

"I can't believe that you're here, Charles," Remus said hugging the Servant.

Charlie patted his back. "I missed you too but call me Saber or Charlie."

Sirius chuckles, "Sure Charlie." Sirius said walk over to him hugging him.

Dumbledore watched the interaction of the Maunders and the pervious Potter family head with shocked eyes. "H-How? He was supposed to be dead?"

"Harry," Charles scoffed.

"Get a move on," Koyanskaya said leading them to the transport.

Goldolf walks to Ritsuka with Holmes. "Goldolf, anything from the children?" Ritsuka asked.

"No, those delinquents believe what they have been told from the ministry and Dumbledore. They know nothing useful." Goldolf said. "Damn that old man,"

"I see," Ritsuka said.

"I will be accompanying them in one of the transport, I will be the prosecutor. The defense I have no clue who." Goldolf said. "Will I expect you at the trail today?"

Ritsuka nodded. "Yes, I'm the one with the evidence of their attack." He said. "Plus, Dumbledore's secrets that he kept from the Ministry."

Goldolf nodded. "Alright, the Prime Minister and UN Representative are already there. I will see you there." He said following the prisoners out.

Sirius and Remus left to the doors along with the Aurors. Ritsuka was about to leave when Charlie taps his shoulder. "Charlie?"

"Ritsuka, can I speak with you for a moment."

Upon arriving at the Ministry things have changed drastically, ceiling lights were installed, all banners with the British Magical insignia were taken down, the sentinels were replaced by golems from the Association.

Fudge was looking around shocked that the Ministry was taken over this quickly, "How could this have happened, in a short period." They stopped where inquisitors of the Church stood.

"Inquisitors!" Moody exclaims. "How could they had known about the Ministry!"

"Silence wizard, you are about to go on trial for crimes against Chaldea and the world." An inquisitor said. "Depending on extensive of your crimes, punishments will vary."

"Punishments? This is unethical, you have no right to do this!" Molly said before being slapped on the mouth with a tape by a Magus.

"Quiet your blabbering woman, it's annoying." He said'

"You don't have the right to do this-"

The Magus glared at Arthur Weasley as he shuts up not wanting to experience the slap that his wife had. Hishiri walks forward to them with enforcers by her side. "Are all of them here?" the Magus from Polices asked.

"Yes ma'am." The soldier said.

"Alright, " she said looking at all of them. "This trial will be different from the failed trials in the past that the former Minister Fudge has conducted." She looks at him as he cowers away. "We'll be giving you be under influence via truth spells from our Magus if there's any indication of lying you'll be forced, to tell the truth." She said.

They remained silent as they were being led to holding cells until it's their turn.

Ritsuka arrived with his bodyguards to the courtroom where Lorelei, Amelia, and Gawain sat at the center. "Lord Fujimaru, glad you can join us today." Amelia greeted Ritsuka.

"Happy to be here Lady Bones, and hello to you Lord Greengrass." He said to Gawain.

"Lord Fujimaru, I heard that my daughter is staying with you at the Outpost. I hope she's no trouble for you." Gawain said.

"Not at all Lord Greengrass, she's helpful in the control room," Ritsuka said.

"Glad to hear," Gawain said when Lucius walks up to the podium.

"Mages, Inquisitors, Government representatives welcome to the trial of the Ministry of Magic, their crimes are Corruption within the system. For the Order of the Phoenix vigilantism, comprising viable information, and public safety." Lucius stated. "First is Former Minister Fudge versus the People."

Hishiri and two enforcers escorted Cornelius Fudge to the center guarding him both of his sides. Fudge looks around the room to see his former allies turn against him and a woman sitting where he used to sit sat there with Gawain and Amelia by her side.

"Cornelius Fudge, you requested that you'll be defending yourself without a lawyer correct?" Lucius asked.

"Y-Yes,"

"Very well, we may proceed director," Lucius said to Lorelei.

Lorelei nodded then looks at Goldolf. "Cornelius Fudge, former Minister of Magic you have been in the minister position for a while correct?" he asked.

"Yes, I have kept-"

"Mr. Fudge, were you aware of the current situation of the Wizarding World both inside and outside?" Goldolf asked.

"Y-Yes but running a governmental job can take a lot of your time. Things can be missed at some time." Fudge said.

Goldolf nodded. "Mr. Fudge were you aware of Albus Dumbledore's vigilante group called the Order of the Phoenix?"

"N-N-N-Yes, I have." He spat out.

Ritsuka folded his hands together observing the former Minister's actions on how he tried to lie about the Order.

"Were you aware that they disregard any damage and safety of the mundane public?" Goldolf asked.

"Y-Yes, I sent Aurors there to clean the scene." Fudge said.

"Yet you sent them a week after instead of right away after the squeamish," Goldolf said. "Explain your reason, Mr. Fudge."

Fudge was nervous all eyes were on him he gulps before explaining his reason. "W-Well, we're busy that day and didn't have the manpower to clean up the mess."

"So your arrogance prevented you to make a reasonable decision to clean up after the vigilantes street fight. Am I correct?" Goldolf asked.

"N-N-N-Yes," he spat out his answer. The former allies of Fudge shook their heads at him thinking the same thing. Why was he even minister?

"One last question, did you or not told about this situation to Albus Dumbledore, and if so why you didn't do anything about them?" Goldolf asked.

"Y-Yes, I have told Albus Dumbledore about the current situation. He advises me to wait until he and the Order to capture the Death Eaters until I made with the cleanup." He said truthfully.

Goldolf turns to the people. "People of the courtroom, as you can see Cornelius Fudge is not a suitable Minister of Magic. He let a senile old man manipulate his way through him and was aware of what he was doing." He said, "I asked all of you this, is Mr. Fudge a suitable candidate for Minister of Magic? No. Did he let an old man manipulate his decision? Yes."

"I asked you, Cornelius Fudge, what is your plea?" Goldolf asked him.

"Not Guilty, the reason for being controlled by another," He said confidently.

Lorelei stood up from the chair, "We'll discuss this in thirty minutes, Ms. Adshino take Cornelius Fudge in a holding cell until we made a decision."

After thirty minutes everyone returned to the courtroom. "People of the courtroom, what's your verdict?" Lorelei asked.

Amelia stood up looking around the room then at Fudge. "We find Cornelius Fudge, Guilty of corruption." She said.

"WHAT!" Fudge exclaims. "Madame Bones, think about what you're doing! You're letting muggles take over the Ministry, as a witch of the Wizarding World you must protect it!"

"I am protecting the Wizarding World by letting the Association take over and advancing society," Amelia stated. "You may take him into custody until sentencing." She said to the enforcers.

"What's next Lord Animusphere?" Lorelei asked Lucius as he took out another folder.

"The Potters vs the People, director," he said.
