WARNING: Brief discussion of sexual assault, suicidal thoughts, and suicide in the FIRST PART of this chapter. It is not very detailed, and like I said, not very long, but please proceed with caution if you feel it will bother you. This chapter is backstory and, though I would love you to read it, is not essential for understanding and enjoying the rest of the story. If you feel the need to, you may skip it.

I hope you enjoy this chapter.

16 YEARS EARLIER

"I'm home." The sound of the front door opening and his boyfriend's voice tore Bakugo's attention from the potatoes he was peeling. His eyebrows immediately furrowed a bit upon seeing the other man's appearance. While seemingly uninjured, Eijiro looked at if he'd been awake for two days straight. The entire air around him was completely devoid of his usual energy, his usually broad shoulders drooping as if he were carrying cinder blocks and his eyes clouded over with not only exhaustion, but something much deeper. The image spelled out everything clearly: it had not been a good day. There was more to it than that though. This vibe that he was giving off, it was something that Katsuki had never sensed from him before. His boyfriend looked defeated, far from his normal self, and he wanted to know why.

"You look like shit."

Ei let out a humorless chuckle, a barely visible smile coming to his face as he took his shoes off. "Yeah, I feel like it, if I'm being completely honest."

Bakugo leaned on the wall opposite the door, arms crossed. That expression combined with the weakness in his voice made his chest tighten a bit. "What the hell happened?"

"Calm down, Katsuki. I'm not hurt." The red-head gave him a soft, somewhat empty smile as he walked over, cupping the blonde's face and kissing him gently. It was long and slow, so much so that it almost felt like a more intimate hug, like Ei was finally enveloping himself in the comfort he'd needed all day. As he pulled away, he weakly lay his forehead on Bakugo's shoulder. "I want to tell you about it, just...let me take a shower, okay? I need a minute."

His boyfriend pursed his lips. He hated this. He hated whatever did this. He wanted to know now, but… "Yeah. Sure."

About a half hour later, the two of them sat at their small dining room table. Normally, they would have been eating the stew that Bakugo had made for dinner, but something told him that they wouldn't really feel like it. Now, Katsuki just sat there, staring at Eijiro expectantly for an explanation. Still, despite his impatience to know what was wrong, he didn't push for him to speak.

Kirishima sat with his arms folded on the table, looking down as if bracing himself for what he was about to say. After another moment or two of silence, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Still not looking at his boyfriend, he grimly stated, "I found a girl who killed herself."

Even though he'd prepared himself for something fairly bad, Katsuki's eyes widened a bit at the sentence, especially since it had come out of Ei's mouth. Both of them had been pros for about five years now, but starting even before then, they'd unfortunately seen a fair share of dead people, civilians they were too late to save or even peers who had fallen in the line of duty. Still, up until this point, neither of them had actually had experience with a suicide. That was typically more the jurisdiction of the police.

"I was running after this bag snatcher through that maze of alleys downtown and we just...found her. She'd...jumped from one of the buildings and was just...laying there." Eijiro's face was already scrunched with emotion as he recalled the memory. "It almost looked like she was just sleeping - there wasn't even that much blood. She was so pale and cold, and I wanted to lay her comfortably or cover her up or something, but I couldn't because the police needed to look at her and…"

The red-head quickly covered his eyes as if attempting to push any tears back in. Bakugo pursed his lips, already frustrated because he had no clue what to do. He'd only seen his boyfriend this upset a select number of times, and it twisted his whole stomach into unbearable knots. What the hell should he do? Should he tell him to stop? The dumbass had said he'd wanted to talk about it, but…

"And there was a baby."

Katsuki's eyes narrowed, taken off-guard by the addition. "A baby?"

"When I was tying up the guy I was chasing, there was this little squeak." Eijiro removed his hands from his face, still staring down with this look of sadness and frustration in his eyes. "It was so quiet that I barely heard it, but my whole body just immediately honed in on it. Something inside me was screaming to find it, to not ignore it. And there was this...this dumpster just down the alley. I don't know why I looked in there, but I did, and…"

He clenched his fists, quickly biting his lip as if to halt his voice from choking, though it still came out painfully shaky. "There was a little newborn baby girl just lying there in this old cardboard box in the corner. She was so...so tiny. I could have held her in one hand. When I picked her up, she only had this worn blanket wrapped around her, and she was so cold. She didn't even respond when I first held her. That little sound was all she had the strength to do."

Throughout Kirishima's recount, Bakugo felt his body grow heavier and heavier into his chair. The blonde was notorious for having a tough skin - it usually took a lot to really shake him - and while he prided himself on that, he inwardly acknowledged that some people took the idea too far. He did have a heart, and it was shrinking as he imagined the scene his boyfriend was describing. However, he felt a tiny bit of anger rising through the cracks of sympathy as he muttered, "Someone wasn't too happy about becoming a new mom…"

Eijiro pursed his lips, an incredible sadness in his eyes. "Not just that. An officer found her note in her pocket. Apparently she was a university student. She'd been at a small party about a year ago and this guy…"

He trailed off, obviously not wanting to say, but the anger that now laced his expression was telling enough. Bakugo locked his jaw, understanding immediately. He suddenly felt the urge to go kick someone's ass.

"Well, we know what the result was. She didn't know who he was, and apparently she never saw him again. She hadn't been in contact with her family in years and was too afraid to go back. She didn't know what to do, but…" Ei's voice stalled a bit. "She wrote that whenever she would look at her belly or feel the baby kick, all she could think about was what that bastard had done to her. She was too scared to do anything - go to the doctor, tell friends about it, nothing. Apparently, she tried to talk herself into jumping so many times but was afraid to do that too, but then she gave birth..and seeing the baby was too much for her."

He bowed his head as he said the last part, his shoulders beginning to shake. "They think she died late last night. I was on duty then too. Maybe if I'd been more thorough on my patrol...I could've seen her. Damn it, why didn't I check -"

"Hey." Katsuki sharply interrupted, reaching out and tightly grabbing his partner's clenched fist. Giving Eijiro a stern glare, he warned, "Cut that crap out. You know how dangerous it is."

"But -"

"But freakin' nothing!" Bakugo suddenly felt so pissed. Pissed at the situation. Pissed at that low-life scum rapist. Pissed at that woman. Pissed at a goddamn newborn baby. Pissed at Ei for thinking stupid shit. Pissed that he couldn't take this pain from him. "What's done is done. That girl made her choice, and you weren't there. She might not have even wanted your help anyway. We can't expect ourselves to save people we can't even reach."

God damn it, he was quoting Deku now. That only further added to his anger at this whole mess. He'd have to punch that nerd the next time he saw him.

A few tense seconds passed before Eijiro let out a strong exhale, a breath he'd been holding in for a while. "I know. I know you're right. I just...she wasn't that much younger than us. If none of this had happened to her, she could have done...anything. Even with her little girl, if she could find the strength to…"

Relaxing his fist, he wove his fingers between Bakugo's, interlocking their hands. "I can't get her out of my head either. That baby. She was the most delicate thing I've ever seen in my life, Katsuki. I'm not lying. I was so afraid that I would break her if I held onto her too hard." He closed his eyes for a moment, sighing again. "You're gonna think this is stupid, but...in those ten, fifteen minutes she was in my arms, I felt as if we were connected somehow. Her own mother had looked at that beautiful face and decided to leave her alone and all she had...was me."

Katsuki felt his heart skip at the small, genuine smile that appeared on Eijiro's face, though he himself seemed unaware of it. "Right before I gave her to the paramedics, she moved a bit for the first time. Her eyes were closed, but she snuggled her face a little into my chest, and her tiny fingers patted at me a few times. It was almost like she was saying thank you. It felt like...neither of us wanted to let go."

"So, the kid's okay?" Bakugo asked, his eyes still glued to his boyfriend's expression.

"The doctors think she will be, in the long run." The redhead was back to being serious, but he at least didn't look as depressed as he was before. "That's actually why I was a bit late. I went to the hospital to try and see her, but they were getting her settled in the N-ICU. They think she's a couple weeks early or something, and her mom hadn't really taken care of herself very well while she was pregnant, so they think it will be a while before she's fully healthy."

"There you go, then, moron." Katsuki stood from his chair and walked closer to Ei, patting his spiky hair as he leaned against the table. "Her mom wanted her to slowly die in that alley, but you saved her. She can actually have a life with a family that wants her. You freakin' won, so don't you dare feel like you failed, damn it."

"Right..." His words appeared to make Kirishima feel better, though his eyes still seemed to swirl with turbulent thoughts. It was clear that the conversation had drained him - both of them - so neither spoke of it for the rest of the night.

"Hey, before we go home, we should go see Kiko."

"Who the hell's Kiko?" The two of them had just clocked out, walking down the streets of downtown toward their apartment. It was just after seven o'clock, and the sun was beginning to set an orange glow in the sky. Katsuki's stomach was burning with hunger, and he was tired from the sheer boredom that had been their shift, so he didn't feel like going anywhere, much less to see someone he didn't know.

Eijiro flashed him an exasperated look. "Come on, man. I'm sure I told you. That's what the nurses named that baby girl." His expression quickly turned into an almost proud smile as he looked forward again. "They said it means be glad. That way her name will always be a reminder to be thankful for her life. Isn't that cool?"

His boyfriend only offered a small "mm" in response. It had been about two weeks since the day Kirishima had found that kid in the alley, and the red-haired hero had made it a point to visit her just about every other day, especially when he wasn't working. Bakugo had to admit he didn't quite understand why. He definitely would have expected him to check the girl's condition after a while, but visiting regularly was something that surprised him. His partner obviously couldn't do anything to speed along her recovery, so he wasn't doing it to help. He'd shown Katsuki a picture of her once or twice, and she looked like any regular ass baby to him. So, what was it?

They walked in silence for a moment, an answer to the previous suggestion never given. Bakugo saw Kirishima eyeing him in his periphery, appearing somewhat hesitant and like he wanted to say something. After a while, the blonde grew a little annoyed and was about to just tell him to spit it out, but the other man beat him to it.

"So...they actually say that Kiko's gonna be ready to leave the hospital soon. Well, kind of. Her brain still needs a bit more developing to get to where she should be, and she's still really tiny, even for how early she was born. They want to keep monitoring her for a bit before she's put on an adoption list, but they don't want her to just be holed up in the N-ICU that entire time, so they're looking for someone to foster her instead. They think her having a nice home environment would actually help her develop and catch up."

Katsuki wasn't oblivious to what sounded like sadness in his voice. He wasn't quite sure why Eijiro felt the need to tell him all this stuff, but it was clear that the matter was bothering him a bit. Making an educated guess, he commented, "Don't look so damned depressed about it. Just freakin' ask the name of whoever takes her and you can probably still go visit her."

"No, that's not...I mean, sure, but...I actually wanted to talk to you about...maybe us doing it…?"

Bakugo stopped dead in his tracks, looking at his boyfriend with a dumbfounded expression. He blinked a few times, his brain taking a while to compute the idea that had just been put forward. His mouth ended up spitting out the first words that came to his mind. "Are you nuts?"

"Just hear me out for a second, please," the redhead begged, his lips pursed nervously and a certain glint in his eyes. "The doctors actually asked me in the first place. Since I'm the one who found her and visits her a whole lot, I basically know all about her already. Plus, I'm a hero, so they know I'll be someone safe to leave her with."

"Safe? Ei, what the hell do you know about taking care of a baby? What do either of us know about taking care of a freakin' baby? ALSO, I hate kids, unless you've forgotten!"

"Come on, that's not true."

The blonde bit his cheek a bit. Damn it, maybe not all of it, but he was still being an idiot. "If they aren't my problem and aren't brats, I tolerate them. That still doesn't mean I want to wait on one hand-and-foot."

"And you won't have to!" Eijiro grasped his hand tightly, a pleading look in his eyes. "It'll be a couple weeks at the most. I can change my shifts around a little bit. You'll just have to look after her every once in a while, but it won't be any problem. She still doesn't really make any sounds, so she won't be noisy, and it's not like she can move around much - "

"Ei -"

"Listen, I know what you're about to say...and you're right. I've gotten attached. I know that's what you've been thinking this whole time. I'm being a damn idiot. It's unprofessional and selfish of me, but...Katsuki, every time I look down at her, my heart just explodes and all I can think about is how much I want to protect her. She's still so fragile, but I want to help her even just a little bit more so she can grow. Then, whoever takes her afterward can raise her to become the strongest she can be."

Bakugo stared back into his determined gaze, his own chest compressing a bit. God damn it, why did he have to be like this? He was annoyed with the issue being pushed, but at the same time, that straightforward and eager look turned his damned insides into jelly. The blonde mentally slapped himself. It didn't matter regardless. They didn't have time to play babysitter. Knowing his redhead idiot, he'd probably run himself ragged trying to juggle the kid and his hero work anyway. Still, that would only happen if he mostly watched her himself. Yeah, Katsuki would hate it, but if they split the work, then...

Their stare off lasted for a few more seconds, Bakugo's face remaining stoic throughout his thinking as his boyfriend observed warily. The former took note of the look in Kirishima's eyes. Crap, he was really serious about this.

Sighing heavily, he began to walk down the sidewalk again, grumbling, "Come on. Visiting hours are ending soon. If we get there and they kick us out cause you were too slow, I'll be pissed."

There was a brief pause before he heard Ei speed walk to catch up with him, interlocking their hands in between them. Katsuki didn't look at his face, but he could practically feel his hopeful energy. "So...?"

Another beat.

Sigh. "Damn it, fine. I'll think about it…"

They walked in silence for a couple more steps before he felt a small kiss on his cheek. Eijiro shot him a soft, grateful smile. "Thank you."

God damn that look to hell. Hiding the heat rising in his face, the blonde quickly turned his head away, pretending to look through the store windows. "That doesn't mean yes, dumbass!"

A loud vibration rang through the air as Bakugo's cell phone buzzed on the counter. Peeking at the message while tending to the stove, he read the message from Ei: "Still got some paperwork to do, so I'll be a bit late! If dinner's done before I get there, go ahead and eat without me!"

Katsuki felt his temples begin to ache at how not surprised he was. He muttered, "Shitty-haired dumbass. He always blows off reports on Fridays." Suddenly remembering he wasn't alone, he added, "Which means he's not here to get onto me about cursing in front of you. Not like you can freaking understand me anyway."

Kiko obviously didn't respond, wiggling around from her blanket on the floor. She was over two months old now and had been living with them for about three weeks. Eijiro had been right about it not really being that hard to watch her - at least, it wasn't as grating as they'd expected. Yeah, waking up to feed her was a pain in the ass, but she didn't really cry, which meant they at least weren't abruptly awakened by wailing in the middle of the night. She couldn't crawl or roll over either, so wherever they plopped her was where she stayed. If she started to get restless, she would usually just flail and grunt a bit, and all they would really have to do is pick her up, feed her, or change her to settle her down. There were certainly times where doing all of these things felt like an annoying hindrance to Bakugo, but he was actually surprised with how much he didn't actually mind it. For some weird reason, it was kind of nice to have the company of another living being whenever Ei was working and he wasn't, lackluster as the responses could be. She definitely provided someone to rant to whenever he got pissed off at something, and she couldn't interrupt or argue back, so that was another plus. He didn't really scream whenever she was around - it's not like she deserved to get scared over nothing - but he would growl and grumble, and she would just stare up at him, watching. Her eyes had definitely caught his attention when she did this. While she didn't make many sounds and her motor skills were still developing, her eyes were always bright, seeming to take in every detail around her, whether she understood it or not.

That's what she was doing now, her attention being drawn to the man upon hearing his voice. Katsuki continued to cook dinner in silence for a couple minutes, occasionally peeking back. She usually tended to stare at something for a while even after it stopped being interesting, but for some reason, he felt as if she was watching him even more than normal today. She had a somewhat bare, but innocent look on her face, and though she wasn't really fussing around, he had the feeling she wanted to be picked up.

"What, squirt?" he asked, walking over and squatting to lift her up. Cradling her in his left arm, he walked back over to the stove, careful to stand sideways so she wasn't too close to the fire. "Bored off your ass watching from the floor?"

Another long break passed as he continued his work, sauteeing some peppers with one hand and carrying her in the other. He'd never admit it to his boyfriend, but he actually liked holding Kiko quite a bit. In fact, he preferred to just have her in his arms while he did work rather than just lay her down. To hell if he could really explain why. Maybe it was because, if he always had her close, he could always know when she needed something since she didn't really cry to let him know. He was an only child, so he'd never really had experience with babies before her, and until he'd actually held her for the first time, he hadn't fully grasped what Ei had meant when he'd talked about how tiny and fragile she was. She was so light that it felt like he was barely carrying a pillow. The fact that he had to hold her so firmly, but gently gave him a bit of pride. Hell yeah, he could blow away a hundred villains if he wanted to, but he also had enough control to keep her close without breaking her. On top of all that, she was a mini bundle of heat too.

Why did he feel more relaxed whenever he felt that warmth snuggled to his chest…?

Bakugo broke from his thoughts when he noticed the baby eyeing the food in the pan. Side-eying her, he stated bluntly. "You can't have it."

She looked up at him when she was addressed, and the two proceeded to observe the other for a while. For whatever reason, her eyes just made him stop and stare. It was like he could see her brain taking him in, and while he usually hated it whenever people looked at him too long, he didn't really mind with her. She was taking in everything she was seeing, gradually learning from it, but not making any judgements. Yeah, maybe that was it. Everyone always had judgements about him, about his demeanor, his look, everything. It was something that couldn't be avoided, especially since he was in the top charts now, and it normally didn't bother him, but every so often something would sink in further and manage to piss him off. She just took him in for what he was, and while it was a given since she was a baby, it was something he couldn't help but appreciate.

Knowing this, he narrowed his eyes in a challenging glare, asking in a gruff voice, "Got a problem, kid?"

After continuing to stare blankly at him for a couple more seconds, she proceeded to do something that actually made his heart skid for a few beats.

She smiled.

Completely taken off guard, Bakugo felt his mock expression drop as his eyes widened somewhat. In her entire two months of life, at both the hospital and while living with them, she had never smiled before. The doctors had suspected it was linked to why she also wouldn't cry - the parts of her brain that processed emotions were still catching up and/or recovering from what was probably a traumatic pregnancy and birth. There was also her developing motor skills on top of it all. And yet, despite that, she was shooting him a wide grin, one that would have been full teeth if she had them. That smile...it looked just like…

Whenever Ei would come home after work, he would immediately find and greet Kiko with that dumb pointy grin of his, sometimes before even greeting his boyfriend. Likewise, whenever Katsuki came home, he would almost always find Kirishima holding her, and upon seeing him enter, the redhead would hold her up towards him so they could both welcome him back. It was something that had been weird and annoyed him the first few times, especially on the more busy days, but recently he'd found himself holding back a laugh at the juxtaposition between Eijiro's welcoming smile and Kiko's oblivious, far-off stare. Trying to hide it, he'd smirked and told him how ridiculous they looked. At the same time, his whole body had suddenly grown warm at the sight, and he'd felt the urge to kiss Ei more than usual.

It hadn't been just then, either, now that he was thinking about it. He remembered how over the past couple weeks, he'd found himself staring at Eijiro's content expression whenever he was holding Kiko. It was clear how happy he was to be taking care of her, even more so after they'd been told by social services that she'd be ready to be adopted soon. Kirishima had obviously tried to hide his disappointment from Bakugo, but he wasn't stupid. Not long after, he'd caught Ei swaying her to sleep, saying with a forced smile, "The doctors say that you're so strong now. That means that you won't have to stay with us anymore. You're gonna have an awesome mom and dad who are gonna love you so much and you're gonna grow up to be so big..."

From where he was around the corner, Katsuki had thought he could feel a part of his heart crumble away at that wistfulness in his voice. If he was being brutally honest with himself, cutting the bullshit, he couldn't say that the feeling wasn't mutual, and now, looking down at the baby in his arms, all those thoughts he'd been pushing back were coming to the forefront. This whole thing had gone in a direction he hadn't predicted. They were just supposed to push the kid along until she was good for someone else to take her. Ei was going to help her like he thought he should, and Katsuki was just supposed to fill in any gaps. They weren't supposed to get used to this schedule, or having her greet them after work, or having three sitting at their table rather than two. So, why? Why did that seem so right?

This was more than attachment. He had a feeling they'd both realized it a while ago but had been too afraid to voice it. This...this was…

"Crap."

Katsuki plopped the yellow envelope on the table in front of his boyfriend. "Here."

Eijiro raised an eyebrow in confusion, understandably surprised. The blonde had literally just walked in from his shift without so much as a greeting, so it must have been a little jolting. Hesitantly, he asked, "What's this?"

"Just open it." Bakugo walked past where he was sitting to lean against the wall, crossing his arms. God damn his body for being so jittery. Why the hell did he feel nervous? Yeah, the two of them had never really discussed the idea, but he was positive it was something that Ei wanted. Was he scared that he was pushing his own feelings into the situation? Was he embarrassed to admit it, even to him?

After glancing at his partner warily, Kirishima did as he was told. Katsuki observed his face as he took the papers out at an agonizing speed. His eyes locked on the headline of the first page, and for what felt like forever, he just stared. Finally, he seemed to comprehend the words, said eyes widening and jaw dropping somewhat. "Adoption papers?"

"You want her to stay with us, don't you?" Just as his boyfriend turned his attention to him, the blonde shifted his gaze elsewhere. He held his straight face, though he felt as if his heart was trying to break out of his chest. "Don't try and deny it. I can tell you've been depressed off your ass since they said she'd be leaving."

"Katsuki, are you seri - ?"

"Of course I'm serious, dumbass! I wouldn't have gotten the damn paperwork if I wasn't!" Bakugo scowled at the stupid question, meeting Eijiro's eyes once more. The other man stared at him with a mixture of what looked like awe and disbelief, his jaw still somewhat agape. His eyes moved over his partner's face for a minute, and to Bakugo's surprise, he didn't immediately burst into a grin. Rather, his expression grew rather serious.

Getting up from his chair, he calmly strolled over to Katsuki. He didn't look accusatory in the slightest, but his question definitely held weight to it. "If you mean this, is it for me or is it for Kiko? Because if you're doing this just so I'll be happy, then that's not fair to her. If we're going to be her parents…"

God damn - parents. That word even seemed to stop Ei in his tracks the second he said it, as well as made Bakugo feel as if a bird was flapping in his stomach. They'd protected and held so many lives in their hands for years now, but that was always short term for each person they saved. If they did this, it was for life. Raising her, protecting her, teaching her. There was no way in hell they could turn back once they crossed that line. With their duties as heroes on top of caring for her, it could get messy on all kinds of levels. It would be a challenge from hell...but that made him want to grab onto it even more. On top of all that…

"It looks like she learned that dumb smile from you." Katsuki averted his gaze to the side again, referencing her surprise grin from a few days ago. He felt his face redden a bit, embarrassed at what he was about to admit. Still, he wanted Ei to know how serious he really was, and the thought of both of their grins couldn't help but make his chest tighten. His voice a little quieter, he muttered, "Just my freaking luck...falling in love with the same smile twice."

His comment was followed by a moment of silence, something that both puzzled and worried him a bit. However, just as he was about to look back at Ei, his face was suddenly sandwiched in between his hands before being quickly pulled into a kiss. After the initial surprise, Katsuki kissed him back, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend's waist. They stayed like that for a good minute, and the slight smile he could feel appear on Ei's lips made Bakugo want to go on much longer, but his partner eventually pulled away, touching their foreheads and flashing that idiodic but unbearably handsome grin. "Guess we're really doing this then."

"Of course we are, moron."

Eijiro responded by pecking him on the lips once more, breaking away to pick up Kiko, who'd been observing as she lay on the couch. Holding her up in the air, he said, "Hear that, Kiko? We're gonna be your daddies now! Isn't that awesome?"

Katsuki's heart nearly punched itself out of his chest. Damn, when had he turned into such a freakin' softie? If he didn't know any better, he would've thought he was made of pudding or some crap. Part of him cringed at it, but the other part...it couldn't deny how much he liked this. Loved this. Wanted this. To hell with all his doubts and anyone who said otherwise. He was gonna do it. He was going to be the strongest hero the world had ever seen. He was going to be number one, winning no matter what, and he could do it - he was going to do it while loving and protecting them. If he couldn't do any of those things, then he would never deserve the title.

I'll do it. Just watch me.

"She's gonna barf all over you one of these days if you keep doing that."

"That's okay. It'd be gross, but I'd still love you." Kirishima addressed Kiko as he said this, lowering her to where she was laying against his shoulder. He smiled softly at her for a second before turning his attention back to Bakugo with a more teasing, yet somehow sincere expression. "A baby, huh? I guess now all we have to do is get married."

God damn that shitty-haired bastard.

He knew there was no hiding the red in his face this time. Katsuki fiercely snatched up the papers on the table and began to organize them. Damn him. "Idiot, let's see how much of a disaster this is first."

And that's how Bakugo and Kirishima adopted Kiko! I hope you guys found it cute, minus the depressing part at the beginning, cause I really enjoyed writing this. We will continue with the rest of the fight in the next chapter!
