This is my first kotlc fic (and one of my first fics in general)so ya, hope you enjoy it! This was originally intended to be a one-shot (I think it's a one-shot although it my actually be a drabble, idk what the difference is) although it may turn into a collection of one-shots. This is not beta read (because I can't figure out how to do that) so there may be some missed grammar or spelling errors, sorry about that.

I was think earlier today and realized I never added and authors note about the update, so to those who read this when it first came out, I have decided to switch this story to be a compilation of Sokeefe one-shots with some cameos by other characters. But never fear I have a Tiana two-shot coming out later today or tomorrow, and I'm hoping to write a Winh one-shot in the near future.

Also disclaimer, I don't own KotLC (even tho I wish to) I just own the kids and the plot. Now on to the story!

It was late, much much later than Sophie had intended to be home. Today was the 15th anniversary of the forming of Team Valiant, and Biana had taken it upon herself to throw a very over the top party. The party had started at five and was meant to end at eight so that it wouldn't throw off the kiddos' bedtime schedules too much, but it was now ten and Sophie was just getting home.

Keefe had left a bit before eight so he could get the kids home and heading to bed. The plan was that Sophie would finish catching up and be home in time to tuck in the kids and say goodnight, but that plan had kinda gone out the window. Sophie had no idea where the time has gone, one moment it was 8:15 and the next it was 10:00 and Sophie was mentally smacking herself for letting the time get away from her.

As she slipped quietly in the back door of Heartstrong and locked it, guessing that Keefe had left it open for her, Sophie heard a small noise from upstairs and smiled knowing exactly what it was. Making her way upstairs and turning to the left Sophie found herself standing in the hallway that gave her so much joy. She went to the second door on the right seeing that it was cracked and had a soft glow was pouring from it.

"Elora what are you doing, sweetheart?" She asked her little night owl of a three-year-old.

"Reading Rexy story, she scared," Elora responded hugging her stuffed T-Rex and pointing at the picture book open in her lap.

"Shh, we don't want to wake up Saphielle," Sophie gently scolded, "you know how grumpy she is when she gets woken up."

"Saphie not here, she leave," The little girl told her turning back to her book.

"Left? Where did she go?" Sophie asked, alarmed.

"To daddy," Elora stated matter of factly without looking up.

"Alright, I think it's time for bed. What do you say little owl?" Sophie asked coming over to the three-year-old's bed.

"Ok," Elora said sadly as her mom tucked her back into bed, "goodnight mommy."

"Goodnight little owl, see you in the morning," Sophie responded before placing a kiss on her daughter's forehead.

Sophie slipped back into the hallway and made her way up the next flight of stairs to get to her and Keefe's bedroom. Their door had been left mostly open and through it, Sophie could see the faint light of her husband's desk lamp. He was undoubtedly having another late night drawing session.

"Inspiration strikes again?" She asked her husband quietly, making her way over to him.

"Sophie!" Keefe jumped a little, "I didn't hear you come in."

"Well we wouldn't want to wake Saphielle, now would we," Sophie whispered with a smirk, glancing over at the four-year-old who was asleep on their bed," and before you ask Elora told me she was in here."

"Was she being our little night owl again?" Keefe asked quietly, adding a few more details to his drawing.

"Yep, I got her to go back to bed though," Sophie whispered in response, "did Kendrick go down ok?"

"When down without a peep, he was out cold," Keefe said turning to show Sophie his drawing, "it's just a rough sketch, but what do you think?"

"It's amazing, Keefe," Sophie said blown away by the drawing of their family, it was slightly messy but very accurate, and Sophie knew that when it was finished it would look more like a picture than a painting.

"What do we call it a night?" She asked.

"That sounds like a great idea," Keefe replied, putting away his drawing supplies then pulling Sophie into a hug, "Love you sweetheart"

"I love you too, Keefe."
