Currently, we find Jazz having a not-so-silent freakout on the couch of her living room.
"What do I do? What do I do?" She whispered this to herself over and over, like a mantra.
"Jazz?" Looking down, she noticed the pleading, green eyes of her brother had taken a wet sheen and were now looking hopefully up at her.
Putting a hand on his shoulder, "It'll be alright, Danny. It'll be alright." Seeing his fearful eyes move back over to his merging legs, she gently grabbed his chin and forced him to look away. "Don't look." She said. Nodding his head in agreement, he buried his face into his sister's shoulder. Breathing out a shaky breath, she ran over her options.
Option one: Take him back down to the tank. But then it'll be near impossible to get him out again.
Option two: Just stay in the living room. Yeah, no.
Option three: Go to the ocean and hope that maybe Sam and/or Tucker are there.
Option three it is. Gently, she picked Danny up bridal style, without any protests this time, and quickly made her way to the back door; cringing every time she heard something shift. Running down to the beach, she place her brother on the sand, where the waves can just barely wash over him. With Danny's face still buried in her shoulder, she cried out,
"Sam! Tucker!"

"I'm telling you, Tucker. I'm worried."
"I'm sure he's fine. Stop freaking out, will you?"
"What if-"
"No, Sam. Stop. Even if something was wrong, there would be nothing we could do. The best thing we can do right now is sit and wait."
Deciding that her friend had a point, she sat down on the rocks with a sigh; Tucker following her example. Suddenly, his 'ears' perked up, and he went rigid.
"Sam...?"
"I heard it." They shared a concerned glance with each other, then rocketed off towards the beach.

Despite the lack of results, Jazz kept calling. She didn't know what to do. She had tried to call her parents, but they didn't pick up. Jack's went straight to voicemail, so he probably forgot to charge it again. And Maddie just didn't have a phone.
"SAM! TUCKER!" Her voice was starting to sound raspy from all of her failed attempts, and tears were now freely streaming down her face; her brother still shaking in her arms. His legs have now fused all the way down to his knees, and she could constantly hear the shifting of bone. It was rather disturbing. Hearing a splash, she nearly wilted with relief upon seeing the two familiar forms swimming at high speeds towards the beach. Two cries tore through the night.
"DANNY!"
Pulling herself on shore as fast as possible, the mers immediately saw the problem. And heard it too, honestly, but they rather not think of that. Looking for permission from Jazz, which she eagerly gave, Sam leaned over and nudged the shaking boy.
"Hey, Danny?" The boy in question poked his face out just enough so that he could look at her. "Hey, its ok. It'll be over quick. Does it hurt?" All three present sighed with relief when he shook his head 'no'. Putting a gentle smile on her face, she continued. "Hey, Danny. Tell me about that satellite they just launched again." Even though she didn't really know what that was, she knew he did. Her distraction seemed to work, when Danny shuddered from a particularly noisy shift. Not giving up, "Danny."
Nodding his head, "Right, so it's name was Sacagawea, and-" He cut off as he flinched violently from another harsh shift.
"Danny." Sam couldn't keep all of the panic out of her voice, and Danny must have caught on to it. Looking at her with tears in her eyes, he continued. "They launched it just last year..." While Sam was busy keeping Danny distracted, Jazz and Tucker watched as his ankles joined together, and then his 'feet'. Finally, after everything was joined together, his fluke and fins started coming in. If asked later, Danny would describe the feeling as a weird pulling sensation that came from the bone and muscle themselves. Everyone present, including Danny, heaved a sigh of relief when it was finally over.
Danny's relief, however, quickly turned to dread when suddenly all feeling to his bottom half came back. He immediately noticed the differences, and dared not to look. Without thinking better of it, he buried his face into the crook of Sam's neck. Taken aback, she didn't do anything but sit there shocked for a minute before she finally collected herself and wrapped him in a hug.
Jazz, with a gentle smile on her face and tears in her eyes, started running her hand through his hair, trying in vain to calm the panicking boy. Tucker was just sitting on the sidelines, unsure of how to help, when a light caught his eye. Looking up, he saw a bright light coming from behind the Fenton house.
"Hey, Jazz. Your house is glowing." Looking to Tucker, then to her house, she gasped in both surprise and relief.
"Mom and Dad are home!" With all the excitement of a puppy racing to meet it's owner, she raced through the house and received her very confused parents in the living room.
