Just a quick side note, this story takes place in the time period of Beyblade: Shogun Steel, with a few made up Beyblade names that I thought of…. Eheheh.. ;)

Another school day had begun at Otonokizaka High school. Honoka, Umi and Kotori all came in and got their things out for the first class to start just like everybody else. Honoka pulled out her attack type beyblade, Samurai Pegasus and looked at it for a second before class started. The thought of battling with Pegasus again today made the ginger hair girl excited.

"I can't wait to have more battles today at recess." Honoka said with an excited tone. "I'm for sure going to settle my rivalry with you today, too, Umi." She added turning towards Umi.

"Bring it on, Honoka. I won't ever lose to you!" Umi responded in the usual daring way that she always does.

"I won't lose, either." Honoka responded with the utmost determination she always shows.

Umi was the strongest of the second year students at Otonokizaka High School. Her beyblade was a stamina type Archer Sagittario. On top of this, Umi was one of those bladers that liked to battle more on offense than defense, meaning she was more of an attacker during battles, Sagittario being a stamina type helped this exponentially.

Honoka would challenge Umi again and again, losing each time, but was still determined to challenge Umi yet again, with the belief that there will be different results the next time.

Cut to class start

Suddenly, the teacher came into the class and got things situated. "Good Morning, students." she said with a smile.

"Good morning, Sensei," the students responded. Hearing the entire class respond the way that they did warmed the teacher's heart.

"Before we start class,let me just say that we have a new student joining our class today." The teacher said "This student actually transferred from UTX as a second year and will be joining us for their second year. Not to mention, this student happens to be Otonokizaka's first boy." She added. "This school will be getting more boy students in the coming weeks given that this school is now a co-ed school per the chairman, but for now we have just one until then." she finished.

"What do you think the new student will be like, Honoka?" Kotori asked.

"I think he will be super good-looking and smart and maybe even a strong blader," Honoka responded.

Everyone continued talking amongst themselves only for the whispering to be cut short by everyone hearing the classroom door open. Into the classroom, came a really, REALLY handsome second year. He was a 16 year old boy with black hair and dark blue eyes.

The class took one look at the boy and about a fifth of the class was waving at him like they thought he was cute.

The teacher looked at the boy and said, "very well then, why don't you introduce yourself before we start our class, young man?

The boy looked at the teacher, nodded in agreement and faced the rest of the class once more.

"Umm, Hello everyone!" the raven-haired boy said, slightly nervous.

"I transferred here from UTX…. My name is Zero. Zero Kurokotei. Nice to meet you!" the boy said, growing slightly less nervous. He went on to tell a little bit about himself. "Beyblade battles happened everyday at UTX, too, so I am a blader just like most of you are." "I even chose the battling club as one of my extracurricular activities so I can get the chance to battle some of you and make some new friends," he added with a nervous laugh.

The class clapped for him, and in unison, they said 'Welcome to Otonokizaka, Zero Kurokotei!"

This caught Zero by complete surprise as by hearing this, he knew he was going to make a lot of friends.
