Short Summary: Leo and Nico happened to go to the same school. But they got attacked, credit the fire alarms. Somehow as usual something goes wrong. They ended up realising about how dangerous their school was. Getting trapped, they need to escape and fight their way.

Will was just so commanding.

Nico already made the decision of no-school policy after he was 10 years old. After all, he knew a lot since he learnt his communication with death powers. But nooooo, Will said that the ghosts only know stuff about the 90s and 80s. And was pretty much the reason why Nico did not act like a typical modern teenager.

According to Will, monsters are pretty rare these areas, in which Nico did not really trust that theory since the school was like in the middle of some large grassland. Will's poor choice of environment. It wasn't that Nico didn't want to take the risk, just that he did not want to socialise with those arrogant, annoying idiots in school.

It was just his first day at school, and of course. Something always goes wrong, and when I say always, I say every time.

Nico shoved his hands into his pocket. He wore his black hoodie and jeans along with a pair of converse. He glared at everyone who looked in his way. The kids around him shivered slightly as he walked pass.

He didn't really enjoy the center of attention. He just wanted to be far far away from these... Mortals.

The first bell finally rang, students swarming around like the end of the world.

Nico sighed. He looked at his schedule.

Mr Fajuja

Did names these days have to be that random. I mean Fajuja literally sprang off the island volcano vibes.

[No hate, I totally support names. But Nico here might not...]

Line Break--

"This is Nico Di Angelo, your new student. Please introduce yourself." Mr Fajuja grumbled in a boring tone like he had said this million times.

Nico narrowed his eyes, "Is it nessacery?"

"Yes." Mr Fajuja said in monotone voice.

"Fine. I'm Nico Di Angelo. I hate bells, perky-ness, school and ducks. And I am here in this very room, all because of a certain doctor." Nico snorted at the last part.

The students nodded in return and waited for Mr Fajuja to speak.

"Okay, Mr Di Angelo, take a seat next to the empty-" He was rudely interuppted by the creaking of the glass door.

"What's up. Am I late?"

It just had to be him. Nico rubbed his temples and glared at the brownish-red haired son of hephateus.

Leo grinned at Nico, he mouthed, 'Hey!'

Mr Fajuja over the desk murmured, "Where do these kids keep coming from..."

The class stared at the current situation. Leo shouted with so much enthusiasm that Nico couldn't bear, "HEY GUYS! I'M LEO-"

"Please lower your voice and let me speak first." Me Fajuja said.

"Okay class, this is Leo Valdez-"

"The awesome MCSHIZZLE BAD boy-"

"AHEM... Please-"

"Oh and I love cooking taco tofuu-"

Mr Fajuja's glare hardens.

"Hehe.. Ye, right right..." Leo rubbed the back of his neck clearly embarrassed.

Me Fajuja continued, "Please introduce... yourself." He stopped paused his sentence for a moment just in case Leo started sprouting another cheesy line about himself.

"I am Leo Valdez-"

"Actually I already did for you. Please take a seat at the empty tables there." Mr Fajuja gestured at the empty seats at the corner which visibly looked like it had a dark and brooding halo above it.

Mr Fajuja take a deep breath, "Class, today we will learn-"

Nico asked, "Umm... Mr Fajuja?"

"WHY DO I KEEP GETTING INTERUPPTED-... Oh yes Mr Di Angelo." Mr Fajuja frowned. "Take a seat next to Mr Valdez. Thank you very much."

Nico walked up to the seat next to Leo, "What the hell are you doing here?"

Leo wiggled his eyebrows, "Well, I woke up at six thirty today, and then brushed my teeth with-"

Nico whisper-shouted, "Just get to the point!"

"I was bored." Leo concluded.

"That doesn't explain anything," Nico raised an eyebrow at him.

Before Leo could answer, Mr Fajuja's voice echoed through the class, "Back to the main point I'm unfortunately teaching here."

Nico gave Leo the look that read 'We are gonna have this conversation about this later.'

"Today we will learnt about the Photosynt-"

The fire alarm went off.

"JUST ONE DAY! JUST ONE DAMN DAY!", Mr Fajuja fussed and groaned.

Some tiny kid said in a small voice, "You sweared..."

Another student apparently named Brian stood up," Oh look-"

" It's actually hear. " Someone shouted.

"Still... Oh look the bell rung, we all better leave the school and spend the rest of the day away from this place. See ya!" He walked out of class and slinging his backpack and left.

The other students did the same leaving Mr Fajuja stuttering, "Wh-what... No! Its just a fire alarm!"

Leo whispered, "We should leave too."

Nico nodded in response.

He swiftly brushed some dust off his jeans and placed his hands into his pockets. Both him and Leo blended into the crowds.

Leo had to admit the fire alarm was ear-piercing. If only he could just do his mechanical magic, and change the bell into 'All I Want For Christmas is You' by Mariah Carey.

He glanced over to Nico who was hurriedly heading out of the school as well.

He looked around, there wasn't really a fire. Probably Just some kid punched it on. But the fire alarm still went off so...

"EKKKKKKKK!" Some boy screamed. He was so high-pitched that Leo almost snickered. Almost. He thought Sorry dude.

That must be humiliating.

But that wasn't the point, why did the boy scream anyways?

"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!"

That did not answer his question.

Nico pulled him aside, "What's going on?"

Loud gasps echoed through the hallway. Screams and shouts. They were merged and clashed together that Leo couldn't make out what they said.

"THERE'S A MONSTER!"

Okay, that answered his question at least.

Nico looked at Leo and nodded.

Either it was just a lucky... Unlucky day

Or Will's comment on this place was very very wrong.

Nico summoned his sword, "Let's get fighting." His eyes gleamed with challenge and determination.

"Woah, woah, woah. Slow down, emo guy-" Leo said.

"Don't call me emo guy." Nico snapped.

"Yeah yeah yeah. Slow down Emo guy. Let the people leave first. Chill."

"They're are mortals..." Nico stated.

Leo blinked and stood frozen for a moment. Oh yeah. They were mortals.

Nico noticed his 'But...' look and said,

"You can't argue with that logic."

Leo sighed and threw his hands up in surrender, "I tried."

Leo positioned his hands into fighting stance, it bursted into fiery flames that licked at his hands.

"Let's go bust some monster heads."

I'm not exactly a good writer. But I really wanna write these stories as well. So BOOM! I'm writing it here. I may stop writing sometimes when I run out of ideas. I haven't really 100% trusted myself with writing a full story. But worth a shot. So really sorry if I abandon it or something.
