Yes my people are similar to Cheshire lovers MacTires, but because we made them together. So I don't think she'll be angry with it.
The jedi council looked on in shock at the hologram in front of them. The hologram, a female, mostly human, but with wolf ears and tail, and orange stripes on her cheeks. She was also wearing an animal skinned dress with feathers and claws decorating it.
She was giving a look of 'You know you can't say no.' As she stared them down.
"Chiefess Dora. We understand that you are in a difficult situation…." Kenobi starts.
"Difficult! We are less than a thousand and thanks to the separatist affecting our waters, half of our males have lost the ability to reproduce. We are more than in a 'difficult' situation master Kenobi we are in a dire situation. We are facing extinction!" Dora glared, insulted at the jedi trying to make her situation sound less important than it was.
"But to ask for our troopers to help you repopulate? Why not ask simply for donors?" Mace raises a brow.
Dora hisses "Did the Jedi not make a pact with my people. That whatever we asked to help keep our people from extinction you would provide?"
"True this is, but the clones. Needed for the war." Yoda explains.
"So again the jedi put their wars above the need of the people." Dora glares, her eyes slitting.
They all flinch at that. Knowing what she referred to.
"You Jedi do not understand. My people will not simply accept a donor, they need partners. We must be with our partners. Our bond is sacred to us." Dora holds a kyber crystal around her neck star in the middle.
"We understand that for the Lubin a mate is for life and you are bound by the force. But why ask for our men?" Luminara raises a brow.
"The troopers have the genes necessary to help create a new and stronger generation, one that can hopefully persevere enough to help us regain our footing." Dora looked on saddened.
"The clones would be the perfect option for such a task. Lubin's papulation would stabilize and not only become stronger but hopefully add some new genes into its depleting pool. The problem is that if you only have the troopers marry into your people then you will have a several lack of diversity with the next generation." Shak Ti informs.
"I understand this, but this is only a temporary fix. Once the population is stable and the war hopefully ends, we will ask other planets for help in papulation. For now, I need the troopers healthy genes for a starting point." Dora looks desperate now.
"Understand this we do, but the troopers? Able to accustom to life away from war can that, and have good relations?" Yoda ponders.
"Your men are individuals are they not? Not even cloning can't take that away." Dora glares.
The jedi looked at each other. This was true, even if their men were clones they were all individuals.
"If you are all still worry then I suggest a trail. Three men with already develop personalities will come to my home world with one jedi. They will stay among us and court, by the end of this trial if they wish to leave they can and those that wish to stay can." Dora smiles.
"There is a problem with this. We can't afford to lose any of our men, especially those who are the most battle experienced." Windu crosses his arms.
Dora glares but says "Then, the wives may stay on the planet but the men will come back for leave. Or the women may leave with them."
They all jump at this "But Chiefess if any of these young women come with us, they will be put in great danger." Kenobi tries to explain.
"We Lubin's may be low in numbers, but we are not vulnerable. We were attacked for being force sensitive. And if the only way to protect ourselves is with the force then so be it. I will tell the women of my planet what they will be getting themselves into if they do this. Please chose men of character and strength for this will be how I will know any that leave will be safe." Dora frowns.
Yoda then said "Accept it we do."
The jedi looked surprised at this.
"Choose our three we will, and send them to Lubin. Master Kenobi will accompany them." Yoda nods.
Kenobi nods his acceptance of the task and then Dora nods, saying "Thank you Jedi, may the force be with you." And with that she blinks out.
Once done the jedi looked at each other and Kenobi asks "So, who will be our three lucky troopers?"
Shak Ti says "I believe men of high ranking would best please the Chiefess. Our officers are usually the ones with the most character since they were chosen for their free thinking."
"That may be best. For that I volunteer my commander." Plo speaks up.
"Is that a wise idea? Commander Wolffe is a good at his job, but he is known to be a bit, temperamental." Adi looks uncertain.
"Wolffe may be strong tempered but he cares for those he is close too and will never let them down." Plo explains.
"A trait the Lubin admire. I believe we have our first candidate." Kenobi makes a holo list, with Wolffe added to it.
"What about Commander Ponds. He's served you well Master Windu." Kit Fisto smirks.
"While that is true, I don't think that would be a wise idea." Mace frowns.
"What, you don't think he is an admiral man." Shak Ti raises a brow.
"Quite the opposite. But he can be a bit reckless in social events." Windu frowns.
Yoda chuckles as he says "Remember that day, well I do."
Let's just say Ponds was once allowed at a social event with the jedi for a senators meeting and had a little too much to drink, causing him to flirt with a representative's daughter.
"What about Commander Bly. From what Master Secure tells me he's always there for his men and never lets her down." Kit smiles.
"He is also quick thinking, another trait the Lubin admire. I'll put him on the list." Kenobi does as he says. He talk to Secura later.
"Now we just need one more." Shak Ti reminds.
"Hmm, what about Commander Fox. He's loyal to his men and keeps things in order…." Mace starts.
"He's also quite strict and would never abandon his position. I do not think he would be a good match for many of the women there. Pluss I hear how many of the other troopers find their jobs too, cushy." Plo shakes his head.
"Hmm, no that might cause problems on the trip. We can't have infighting." Kenobi frowns.
"What about your commander Kenobi. He's responsible, resourceful…." Ki Adi starts.
"And a stickler for the rules. Cody is not much for socializing out of the military as it is, I don't think this kind of job would interest him." Kenobi frowns.
"Hmm, I believe you are right. But I do know someone that would be a perfect candidate." Shak Ti smirks.
"Believe I know who you are speaking off." Yoda smiles.
"May we know who this trooper is so I can add him to the list." Kenobi raises a brow.
"Why he's your padawans own captain." Shak Ti smirks.
At that Kenobi smirked back. This was going to be fun.
And the master of trolling come out! HAHAH!
