Ch 71 Final Battle Pt 1
Ritsuka enters the Shadow Border wanting to see Mashu and their son. "Ritsuka, I see you're doing well after you've escaped." Da Vinci walks up to her master.
"Da Vinci, glad to see you. What's the status of Voldemort's army?" Ritsuka asked.
Da Vinci leads Ritsuka to the Papermoon, she enlarges Britain on their location. "As you can see, Voldemort is advancing at a slow pace due to the chasm." She paused for a moment before looking at Ritsuka. "How exactly did you escape, Ritsuka?"
"One word…Zeus."
Everyone stopped what they were doing after hearing the King of the Gods name. "H-How-"
"He was here for just a moment to buy me time to escape," the Magus said, " I do get the feeling he'll be helping us further on."
Holmes looked over to Moriarty having the same thought. He made his way to Ritsuka wanting to share his thought. "Fujimaru, I'm sure you're aware this isn't the last time we're going to see Zeus."
Ritsuka nodded. "I know that Holmes, let's focus on what's happening now." He said to the Ruler.
"Yes, of course, Fujimaru," Holmes responded.
Ritsuka looks at the Papermoon, "Is everything prepared?"
"Yes master, though I'm confident enough that we can defeat Voldemort's army, however…" Moriarty pounders feeling something isn't right about this.
"However?" Ritsuka asked the Crime Lord.
"His attack and planning are all too rushed," Moriarty said. "There are some missing pieces to this attack on the school."
"What do you mean Professor? I get this is all too rush, but the other part." Ritsuka asked not getting what he said.
"He means that we can't find any trace of Avenger of the Gallows." Kadoc walks in with the others from outside.
"So it's some kind of presences concealment?" Ritsuka suggested.
"That's what we suspect, however it doesn't narrow down her true name." Da Vinci added.
"Presences concealment? What is that?" Fred asked.
"It's a type of skill that certain Servants have to hide from others," Anastasia explains. "Avenger of the Gallows seems to have this type of skill."
McGonagall nodded, "Now I understand, but what about Voldemort? How are you going to retrieve the Grail?"
"We're taking a defensive path, with people still being evacuated it's our best option we have so far," Zelretch explains. "My apprentice even requested help from the local Centaur tribe for help."
McGonagall's eyes widen, "Firenze? You manage to convince his tribe to assist us?"
Ritsuka smirks at her. "I have someone negotiate terms with the Centaur tribe, a duel per se." He said.
"I see, so what now?" McGonagall asked.
"As of right now, Kadoc already positioned everyone for the army," Ritsuka said enlarging the Anomaly on the Papermoon.
Ginny walks up to the Papermoon seeing little dots on the hologram of Hogwarts. "This mini replica of Hogwarts is uncanny; it even has the little Shadow Border." She said impress with the miniature grounds of Hogwarts.
Fred and George stares at the map of Hogwarts examining every little detail, "How,"
"Did,"
"You even,"
"Got the little people,"
"There too!"
The twins point the little people on the map moving to the portal. Then they noticed the black mud approaching closer by the second, above the black mud was this giant serpent-like creature. "Uh, Ritsuka…"
"Something is moving above the black mud thing on the map." Hermione noticed it too.
Ritsuka, Zelretch, McGonagall, Holmes, Kadoc, and Da Vinci walks over to the Papermoon and saw what Hermione and the others were seeing. "He advances further than before," Ritsuka stated.
"Wait, that thing is Voldemort!?" Ginny exclaims. "B-But it can't be, that thing is huge then the definition I heard from Charles."
"Yeah!"
"How,"
"Come,"
"He' like,"
"What?"
Ritsuka remains calm as ever before answering, "It's the grail, it mutated him into a false Beast."
"Beast?" McGonagall asked him.
"You never mention that term,"
"To make it short, the Beast Class is known as the Beast of Humanity. They're the Evils of Humanity, in hindsight, they represent Humanity's evils in the world." Ritsuka informs them.
They all remained silent from the information we're given, "So how do we stop it?"
"A Grand Class Servant, whether be it false or the real Beast they're the only one who can defeat them," Holmes added.
"'So are you going to summon one to aid us?" Ginny asked.
Ritsuka smirks before heading to the corridor door. "I have something up my sleeve, so don't fret over it, Ginny."
"Where are you going Mr. Fujimaru?" McGonagall asked the Magus.
Ritsuka tilts his head back at her. "To see my family, Headmistress." He walks into the corridor leaving them all alone in the command room,
Kadoc and Zelretch smile that he was concerned for Mashu and Romani, Kadoc snaps out of it returning his attention to the evacuation. "Alright, how's the evacuation going?" He asked the staff present.
Ritsuka walks down the hall passing some staff members on the way. "Director," they all greeted him.
Ritsuka smiles at them before hearing Mashu's voice talking to their son from the other side of the door. He knocks on the door waiting for an answer. "Come in," Mashu's voice came from the other side.
Ritsuka opens the door to see Mashu sitting on the floor with Romani. His son was sitting across from Mashu holding the Gilles doll in his little arms. "I'm still surprised he likes that toy."
Mashu swiftly turns around to see her fiancé standing behind them. "Senpai!" she stands up and ran towards him.
Ritsuka opens his arm embracing her, "Hey, I'm back." He said to her.
"Senpai…you scare me sometimes." Mashu started to tear.
"Hey, don't do that Mashu." Ritsuka wipes her tears away before kissing her forehead. "I'm here now, safe and sound."
Mashu sniffs before looking at him. "Senpai," she snuggles up to his chest feeling his warm body.
"I'm glad you two are safe," Ritsuka said to her.
"It's thanks to everyone," Mashu giggles. "Romani was asleep the way here."
Ritsuka chuckles letting go of her, "I want to see Romani."
Mashu nodded looking at him walking to their son. Romani stares up at his father with big bubbly sapphire eyes. "Hey there buddy, how's my little man?" Ritsuka picks his son up in his arms.
Romani giggles in his father's arm, "DA!" he pokes his cheek seeing how fun it is to do that.
Ritsuka chuckles at his son's playfulness, he turns Mashu smiling at them. "Did I ever tell you I love you two so much?" He smirks.
"Yes Senpai, when the day Romani-kun was born into the world." Mashu walks over to her boys.
"Well, I will say it again. I love you both." Ritsuka kissing both his son and fiancé.
"I love you two Senpai," Mashu said.
"Master." Ritsuka looks over to the corner and saw Goetia morphing out of the shadows,
"Goetia, thank you for upholding my request." He thanked the Beast.
"Anything for you master," He paused before continuing, "Master, they need you in the command room."
Ritsuka sighs handing Romani to Mashu, "I have to go,"
"We know," Mashu smiles at him, "Go save Humanity, Senpai." Romani smiles at his father giving him a purpose to fight.
Ritsuka nodded and walks out of the room determine to defeat Voldemort.
Outside of the Shadow Border, the evacuation was going slower than expected. "Make sure you have all your belongings with you!" Luna cried out, standing above them on the medical creates.
"Ms. Luna, please be careful standing on those medical creates," Edmond said below her.
Luna smiles at the Avenger. "Avenger, did you know I don't care for my safety but of others."
"Ms. Luna, I understand your…unique personality, but do understand your safety is my top priority amongst master," Edmond said. "I'm under the request of both your father and master to ensure no harm comes to you."
"Come now Avenger, being less gloomy will be good for you," Luna said jumping down from each creates.
Edmond sighs at her carefree personality, "It's going to be hard to be less gloomy for me, Ms. Luna." He said walking by her side ensures that she won't fall.
"Well, let's work on that after we resolve this Anomaly. Alright?" Luna asked.
"Very well, let's see if we have time." Edmond sighs.
Neville places the medical supplies back in the kits and his notes in a folder. "Now if you rest for three days that injury will heal properly."
"Thank you," An Auror thanked the Nurse. He got up and walked over to the line.
"Uh, Berserker." Neville walks over to her.
Nightingale turns to her apprentice calling her. "What is it, Neville?"
"Every medicine and medical tools are all packed and set, do we transfer the patients who are unable to move?" Neville asked.
"No, the soldiers will do that part. I however will be here with master, you are to stay with the patients." Nightingale informs him.
"But I want to-'
"I won't risk your life because you were determined to help," Nightingale shouts. "Your assistants will be needed with the injured."
Neville was about to argue but his common sense came to his mind. "Okay, Berserker."
"Good, now go to the line to the Hanging Gardens." Neville rushes to the line leaving Nightingale making her way to the healers.
Ritsuka renters the Command Room where Da Vinci, Holmes, and Moriarty waited for him along with the wizard. "Master, Voldemort made it into the Forbidden Forest, the Black Mud has reached the halfway point," Moriarty informs him.
"Black Mud?" Hermione asked,
"A substance that can corrupt any Heroic Spirits," Da Vinci informs her.
"Corruption, that sounds horrible." Ginny gasps. "What do you do to counter it?"
"A Noble Phantasm by Caster, however, he needs a bit more time to prepare," Holmes informs them.
Ritsuka looks around him to see he isn't here. "Where is Shielder?"
"Shielder? Why would you need him?" McGonagall wonders why he needs him for this task.
"Ah, I sent him ahead to face off the Black Mud," Zelretch interjected.
Ritsuka's smile twitch, "I wonder how you knew about my plan from the start?"
"Well, you're my apprentice and I know what you are thinking," Zelretch said with a smile causing him to sigh. (Insert Fate Grand Order ~First Order~ Soundtrack: KYRIELIGHT)
McGonagall walks closer to the map. "Look, it's Shielder." She points at the map. Everyone watches the single Servant standing above the Black Lake faces the Black Mud.
Galahad stood before the rushing mud before him. "Master, give me the energy to delay the mud."
Ritsuka nodded raising his hand to the map. "I trust you, with a Command Seal, release your Noble Phantasm Galahad!"
"GALAHAD!?" Everyone exclaims at the name reveal.
"Yes, master." Galahad took his position ready to deploy his Noble Phantasm.
"Galahad! THE SON OF LANCELOT! THE KNIGHT WHO SUCCEED IN RETRIEVING THE HOLY GRAIL AND RETURNED IT TO THE HEAVENS!?" Hermione exclaims,
"The Knight of the Roundtable who is considered the purest of the Knights!?" Ginny gasps admiring his legends from the stories.
"How is he going to stop-"McGonagall pauses the Shielder positioning himself to a strange stance she never has seen.
Galahad took in a deep breath feeling the magical energy from his master. "That which heals all wounds and grudges, our glorious homeland."
"Manifest yourself," He opens his eyes summoning his shield to his side. He lifts the crossed shield in the air.
"Lord Camelot!" Galahad brought it down with enough force that it ripples on the water. Once he did so the shield glowed white revealing a translucent shield before him.
"LOOK!" A student points to the glow right outside. Everyone rushes to the bridge that connects Hogwarts to the forest and saw a white porcelain wall rise from the ground from the lake.
Lily and James saw the wall surrounding Hogwarts in the area protecting them from the wave of mud. "Beautiful…" the only word that would describe what they all saw.
Galahad held the Black Mud back with no ounce of the mud within the castle walls. 'There, now we need Merlin.' He thought to himself. (End Song)
Voldemort stopped his advancement to Hogwarts. "What happened? Why the mud didn't tear the walls of the school yet?" he said frustrated with what happened.
"My lord, look!" Bellatrix points at the white porcelain walls blocking the mud's advancement.
"What is that hideous colored wall over there." Crabbe Sr. sneers at the white wall.
"Grrr," Voldemort's face relaxed a bit before smirking. "If they want to play this game then I will play as well," the Flase Beast looks over to Bellatrix, "Bella, is your husband in position?"
Bellatrix nods at her lord. "Yes, he awaits your single-"
Ritsuka, Hermione, Ginny, and McGonagall stood under the gate of the school from the lake. "Fujimaru-sama, people are evacuated. That leaves some soldiers, the Servants, your parents, your uncles, and some wizards deciding to stay." Danzō informs him.
"That's good," Ritsuka nodded.
"Sir Galahad's Noble Phantasm is holding off the mud, but how long will it last?" Hermione asked worried for the Servant. "'From the information of the Black Mud, he could be corrupted into something else."
"I wouldn't worry about it, as long as Galahad doesn't falter the white walls of Camelot will never fall." Merlin walks beside her along with Caster of the Forbidden Forest and Fou riding on his shoulder.
Hermione turns her head swiftly at the walls. "T-T-Those are C-C-C-Camelot's wall!?"
"Impossible," McGonagall watches in awe at the glowing walls.
"Now it's my turn." Merlin steps forward summoning his staff. Fou pulled his hair. "Cath Palug, will you stop that. I'm taking this seriously; I've already had my fun with the wizards."
"What do you mean?" McGonagall asked not quite getting what he meant. "What are you planning?"
Hermione looks at Merlin, "What are you going to do, Caster?" getting a bit excited.
"For a battle to take place we need the mud to be clear, and I know something that can dispel the mud." Merlin stood next to Ritsuka. "You've done well Galahad; now master I need you to support me."
"Right," Ritsuka raises his hand to Merlin's back. "I trust you," a blue aura travels to the Grand Caster.
Merlin felt his master mana course through him. His staff glowed a pink hue from "From the stars of the inner sea, from the tower of insight, from the four corners of paradise, let them know;" A single drop from the sky fell into the Black Mud.
"What was that?" Lily walked up to Ritsuka seeing the droplet.
"A raindrop?" Remus observed the single drop from the sky.
"Their story is filled with blessings. Only those free of sin may pass..." Suddenly the clouds made way for a large spiral white tower.
"W-What is that?" James looked up seeing the Tower of Avalon float above the school.
"I-is that t-the Tower of A-A-Avalon?" McGonagall gasps remembering the tower from their history books. "H-How is it possible,"
"Garden of Avalon!"
Merlin points his staff to the mud as pink winds came rushing down from the tower. The area where the droplet landed bloomed into a single flower then spreads causing the Black Mud to dissipate.
"The lake…it's returning to normal," Ginny points at the clearing lake. "The Black Mud is disappearing!"
Merlin smiles. "No matter what sort of darkness or hell that might be, my flowers will dispel it all."
"Look at the lake, filled with pink flowers." An Auror said seeing the rare sight.
"How is it possible!?"
"It's beautiful,"
Voldemort's eyes widen at the sight of his mud being dispel before him. "It can't be possible, nothing should get rid of my mud,"
"My lord, there on the wall!" Bellatrix points to the Chaldeans standing on top of the wall facing the lake.
Voldemort looked at the wall to see a white man casting some kind of spell that dispelling his mud. "That man over there, he's dispelling my mud! Attack! ATTACK! ATTACK!" He shouts at his subordinates.
"KILL THEM ALL!" Bellatrix crackles charging in first leading the first wave.
A single flower floats down in the hands of McGonagall giving her a sense of warmth. She looks at Caster realizing who this person is. "A-A-Are y-y-you-"
"Indeed, I'm Merlin. Though the wizards who entered the Outpost already knew who I am already." Merlin smiles causing Fou to slap his cheek. Merlin glared at Fou who growls at him. "Damn you feral Beast,"
"B-B-But he should be dead! How are you alive?" McGonagall asked fangirling inside her body.
"Put it simply, master summoned me." The Magus of Flowers smiles.
"Caster, I'm leaving the support to you," Ritsuka orders him,
Merlin inclines his head to his master. "Of course, though I suggest you let Caster of the Forbidden Forest assist me. This battle will be the final battle of the Anomaly." The wall soon disappears revealing the first wave of Voldemort's army.
Caster of the Forbidden Forest steps up to her master with determination. "I will do everything in my power to aid in your success master, even if it cost me my life."
Ritsuka nodded drawing his blade towards Voldemort's advancing forces. "Friends! This is our final battle!" the Servants that was with him now materializes on the lake's surface with a little help from Merlin's Magecraft. "We members of the Chaldea Security Organization will protect humanity from the threat before us!"
Almost everybody in the courtyard was evacuated leaving a few soldiers, the Shadow Border, James, Lily, Remus, Sirius, and those with Ritsuka.
"By my order, defeat the False Beast; Voldemort and his army!" The Servants cheered charging at the first wave.
Chaldea British Outpost
"That's the last of the items, Lord and Lady Animusphere." A Chaldean soldier informs them.
"Good, ensure these are delivered to the Association safely," Lucius orders the soldier.
"Sir!" The soldier saluted before entering the running truck.
Avenger of the Gallows witnesses the truck leaving the Outpost into the pavement. "Things are going as planned," she smirks.
