Halo Reach AU/Dead Space crossover. The mission to destroy the Super Carrier succeeded, without Six or Jorge dying; the marines stayed behind with the bomb. In the aftermath, all of Noble Team survived Reach, and the war. A few weeks after the victory over the Flood and the Prophet of Truth, Noble Team is redeployed to investigate an ONI monitoring station that recently went silent

2. Why I've ground to a halt

First of all, I'm sure you've seen the update on my other story, but I am still working on Omicron. When I wrote the first chapter, it wasn't all off the top of my head. I knew how I would start the story, I came up with a bunch of ideas for potential story arcs, and I had a rough idea of how to end it. I'm only struggling with actually filling it in. The second chapter is pretty much only a tenth of the way, but slowly I'm getting there. I'm just not sure if it's going to be as good as the first, primarily because I'm not great at writing multiple characters at once, and I don't want this to turn into the plot of Dead Space 1 and/or 2, only I've replaced all the characters with Noble Team and filler characters that only exist to be evil and then die five minutes later.

In the meantime, like I say in my profile description, I have a basket of mini-stories I'm not sure what do with. I don't want to give up on any of them, but I also know I really need to just focus on one or at most two at a time. That said, I think I'm just going to upload what I can so they're at least here, and my followers know I'm not dead and actually still working.

And if you want to know about the future of Omicron, I can say that I at least know where the story is going, and if I can just keep the chapters consistently engaging and well formatted, I'm very confident you'll continue to enjoy them. I'm definitely satisfied with the ideas I've thought up.
