Have I gone crazy? Or did I hit my head somewhere while walking back home and the sole reason I'm seeing the mystery man in my flat is because I died with him being my last thought. If the answer is yes, Hallelujah.Now you must ve wondering what's the first thing she would do now? Oh why yes. You're right. Stutter like a fool.
"W-What are you d-doing here?" I asked with perfect elegancy. But, he seemed surprised too which made me feel a little better.
"You live here? I mean I-I never saw you before. And no one told me...not even Hermoine" he finished with uncertainty clear in his voice.
That's when it clicked to me and I was immediately furious. Is he following me? The poor little employee who is too easy for him to take advantage of. Though he did look surprised and doesn't look like that kind of guy. But, the last statement wasn't really considered by me and I moved without thinking.
I walked swiftly towards him and caught his hand, he raised to stop me from coming too close and twisted it and locked it behind his back and pushed him onto the sofa, keeping him down with my knee digging into his back.
"Ow ow ow what the fuck are you doing? Stop it!!!"
"Why are you here huh? You think I am a defenceless woman whose house you can break into and try to do shit with me. Well you are very wrong mister."I said so fiercely that my teeth I was gritting started to ache mildly.
"And you even have the audacity to try and look innocent" I added with a harder twist to his arm.
"Jesus woman It's not what you think. Would you let me go so I can explain? I did not come here to harm you. I was invited here for god's sake"
"Ha you think I'll believe you. Well ding dong ding I'm not stupid!! "
"You must be living here as you have the keys right so you do know Hermoine. Your rommmate? " He said reasonably.
I froze "Ya I mean I do, but how do you... " and I got interrupted as he suddenly flipped us from the sofa to the floor with my hands locked by his onto the floor.
"I got invited to come inside after I dropped her off here as she is working for me on one of my new cafe opening ceremony. I had no idea whatsoever that you were here so I can definitely say that it is a coincidence" he finished rather breathlessly.
To be honest I may have gotten sidetracked a little okay, a lot, but isn't having a god like body pressed against yours on a floor with our faces inches away, a good enough reason?
I still didn't reply to his little I-am-innocent speech and just kept on staring into his eyes. How can someone's eyes be so green. They are so enchanting. Woah woah since when was I so dramatic.
When I came out of my trance I noticed that he was looking intently on something. And that something is my lips. He is not making it any easier!!!.
I subconsciously bit my lip feeling a little conscious and there was an immediate response to that action from him. His eyes widened a fraction and he subconsciously licked his bottom lip too. Guess we're both feeling a little attracted towards each other.
It's time to break this spell or I might do something which I may regret later on. Something involving our both lips and our hands moving and... Well you get the idea.
I hook my legs around his legs and flip us over and we end up with him on his back and me on top of him, straddling me. Think straight girl you got this. He isn't still innocent. Maybe he is a pervert. A very handsome pervert. I shook my head with a mild disappointed at myself for acting like a school girl going through the 'bad boy's phase.
"How should I believe you right now? Don't get me wrong I kinda trust you, but you can't blame a girl for being careful huh"
He looked shocked and amused(?) with the new position, but recovered rather quickly and nodded his head, his expression changing thoughtful from his initial shock and said "That's reasonable. Honestly it would be careless if you didn't suspect me. Anyways I have a copy of a brochure of my cafe opening with Hermoine's name in it. You could check it if you want." he finished raising his hands in mock surrender with a smirk plastered onto his face.
I rolled my eyes at his silly antics and said "Well I guess I could do that, but stay still until I check it".
He nodded saying " I can handle that"
I snorted very unlady-like and teased him "Well I doubt it " He arched an eyebrow questioningly I at my comment and I explained "You obviously couldn't handle me when I had you face first on the sofa". Now both of his eyebrows were raised and I immediately back pedaled and cursed mentally Shit was I too harsh. God my stupid mouth just can't stay shut!.
Suddenly a smug smile appearanced on his face and he retorted with " As far as I remember I recall an instance where I had you pinned to the floor which took you completely by surprise may I add". Damn he has a sense of humor. I'm officially doomed.
Me being one not to back down from a challenge (deja vu) teased him back "And look where it got you. Right at my mercy" I emphasized my point by leaning forward on my forearms, our faces dangerously close.
He looked flabbergasted for a second, but abruptly something changed in his eyes and in a blink of an eye he had me on my back again and him hovering over me.My legs which were straddling him earlier were hooked around his waist now due to the sudden motion. Though our bodies weren't touching intimately right now, I could feel his dominance coming off him. And...I don't mind. That's something.
"Now who's at whose mercy" he said huskily with his emerald eyes darkened.
I didn't have a chance to reply as Hermoine blessed us with her appearance from her bedroom. Looks like she took a bath.She was still wiping her face with a towel when she started speaking "Hey harry sorry I kept you waiting. The shower is kindof shitty and my roomie isn't... ". She froze at the sight of us with her mouth agape.
"What in the world are you guys doing? " she asked with her face red from embarassment. God she must be thinking we're doing... Oh shit is it possible for the earth to swallow me up. I glanced at the man on top of me who looked equally perplexed as me and we realized our position is very...well you know and immediately looked away.
"It's not what you think" we said simultaneously, three of our faces red with embarassment.
"We had a misunderstanding... " He started.
"And I attacked thinking he was a pervert"
"And she had me in a tight place so I had to hold her down to explain to her properly"
"And we ended up like this" I finished still blushing. We're positively avoiding each other's eyes.
"Well I believe you guys cause I know you both and none of you are one night stand type... "
"No!!!" we shouted together again.
"Will you get out of the position then cause it's still weird " she said smirking though I can see a faint tinge of pink on her cheeks.
We swiftly untangled from each other and stood up with our eyes looking at opposite walls as if we discovered something new there. Suddenly he spoke up "Hermoine could you confirm to her that we're acquaintances. I don't really want any other misunderstandings anymore".
Before Hermoine spoke up I said " It's okay I believe you. If you weren't familiar with her she wouldn't be so chill anyways".
He nodded slowly and gave me a little smile. I gave him back one of my own.
"That was nice. Shall we move onto dinner then. I can cook and you guys can set the table together" Hermoine suggested. That evil woman. Always has ulterior motives.
I glared at her subtly and she merely winked me back.
I looked at him and gestured him to follow me to the kitchen. I could see Hermoine rushing towards the kitchen, putting on her apron along with her ear phones hinting at us to talk freely. I saw him roll his eyes and stick out his tongue at her. I giggled at his childishness and he grinned at me sheepishly.
I took out the plates from the cupboard and passed it onto him with her fingers brushing. I could see him blush a little, but still he gave me a little smirk and I retorted it with a wink of my own.
It's gonna be an interesting night.
A/N- Sorry for the late. I'm having exams and trust me they're hard. I start them tommorow. So I may not update for the next one and a half week.
