Now this chapter we will began to delve into how Hinoka finally meets her imouto and joins Konoha. Also currently until I publish chapter 3, there will be a poll going.

Gates of Konohagakure

Hinoka makes her way to gates of Konoha having travel far across the Elemental Countries to meet her new brother. As she comes up to the gates, the two guards stop her. "Who are you and why are you here?" ask Izumo.

Hinoka replys, "My name is Hinoka. I'm a Missing-nin from Yugakure, but I wish to join your village and I have information your Hokage would appreciate to hear about." Izumo looks at his partner and back at Hinoka. "Alright we will take you to the Hokage, but try anything to harm anyone and you will regret it," Kotetsu says sternly.

Hokage Tower

Hiruzen Sarutobi sits working on paperwork over many issues in the village until he hears a knock on his door. "Hokage-sama, there is someone hear that wishes to speak to you. She says she has information you would be interested in," Izumo spoke through the door. "Send her in," Sarutobi replys.

Hinoka steps in and sits down in front of the Hokage and waits for his repsonse. "Who are you? Why have you come to my village?" Hiruzen asks with curiosity in his voice. "My name is Hinoka I was a shinobi of Yugakure, but left due to inner conflict. I came he due to the request of one I respect to join the village as a ninja and help an individual in this village," Hinoka replys.

Hiruzen looks at Hinoka with confusion. 'Who is this person that told her to come here? And who is she coming to help?' Hinoka sits there gauging Hiruzen's react and wait to see how he responses. Hiruzen closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before opening them again and giving Hinoka a serious look.

"Who told you to come here and who are suppose to help?" asks Hiruzen. Hinoka look at him with a blank stare. "I can't tell you who asked me, but I will say the person I was sent to help is Naruto Uzumaki," Hinoka states. Hinoka sees Hiruzen flinch and beat into a cold sweat. "Why should I let become one of my shinobi and why should I let you interact with Naruto-kun?" Hiruzen asks with fear and anger in his voice.

Hinoka sees from Hiruzen's reaction how Naruto means to him. "I have information on an organization you might want to hear about. It involves Naruto and his tenant." Hinoka replys. The moment Hinoka mentioned tenant Hiruzen flicks his hand and four hidden anbu drop down around Hinoka and point the end of their swords at her neck. "I swear on Jashin-sama, you try to kill me and I'll everyone in this room if need be." Hinoka says with seriousness in her voice.

When Hiruzen hears Hinoka mention Jashin, he calls off his anbu. "You're a Jashinist?" asks Hiruzen. "Yes. She is the one that told me to come here." replys Hinoka. "I will also say that the information I have on the Akatsuki will intrest you." Hinoka states. Hiruzen gaze shows him intrested when she said 'Akatsuki' to him.

"Go on. What is it that you know?" Hiruzen asks. So Hinoka recaps the events to her encounter with the Akatsuki.

Flashback

Hinoka is walking down road in Fire Country to Konoha. As she is walking she stops when she comes across two people blocking her way. Both of them wearing a black cloak covered in red cloud marks. One of wears an orange spiral mask.

"Who are you?" Hinoka asks. "Who I am is of no importance to you. however this man is Itachi Uchiha," replys the masked man. Hinoka tenses slightly where she hears Itachi's name. After she relaxes, she goes to ask what do they want.

"We are part of an organization called Akatsuki. We seek to find and capture all the tailed beasts and their Jinchuuriki." the mask man replys. Hinoka keeps a straight face while thinking, 'That means their after Naruto-kun too.' "We have heard of your skills would ask you to join us. We don't need an answer right away. Give it some thought. If you wish to join us, meet Itachi in River Country in two weeks. Just know that we seek is to bring peace to the world." replys the mask man. Then he and Itachi past her and make their way onward.

Hinoka stand s there digesting what has been told to her. 'They seek to gather the Bijuu to bring peace. But peace from power like that doesn't come without a cost. Plus it means they are gonna hunt my Imouto, and I won't let them have him!' With renewed vigor, Hinoka starts rushing to get to Konoha as quick as she can.

Flashback ends

Hiruzen listens to this as Hinoka explains the encounter. When she finishes her story, she waits to see how he would react. After what feels like forever, then Hiruzen finally speaks.

"As Hokage of Konohagakure, I hereby install you Hinoka as a Jounin of Konoha." When Hinoka hears this, she gives the biggest genuine smile she could. "Thank you Hokage-sama. I am greatly appreciated of your kindness." Hinoka says.

"Now I must ask what you plan to do with young Naruto?" Hiruzen asks with curiosity. "I've heard about how he is treated and how he lives. I intend to become like family for him. A big sister if you will. I can teach him many things ninja and non-ninja to help him improve." Hinoka states. Hiruzen nods and pulls out a Konoha hitai-ate and hands it to Hinoka.

Hinoka walks out the tower and heads into the village and comes across a mob beating up on a child in an alley. The thing she notice was the whisker marks on him. She then immediately notices that it's Naruto.

As the mob is beating on Naruto, they feel a flood of killing intent behind them and turn to see a woman in an anbu like outfit and a Konoha hitai-ate, hold a three bladed scythe and a baton. The thing scared them was her skin was solid black with a white skeletal pattern on it, and her eyes are blood red. Then they noticed the silver necklace with a red upside down triangle in a circle.

Hinoka glaring down on the mob of civilians with as much anger and hate as she can. "You vile creatures disgust me. Harming a child like this. I will gladly sacrifice you all to Jashin-sama." The villagers start to quiver in fear and the shinobi start sweating badly.

Just after Hinoka makes the statement, a group of anbu descend on the mob and the Hokage appears. "Take everyone but the ones leading the mob to the IT department. But let them stay to see the fate of there friends. Hinoka the rest are for you to deal with and make an example of." Hiruzen states.

Hinoka looks at the ones being separated from the group and an evil smile. She walks up to each one and swipes them with her baton and licks the blood off the baton. She then cuts her hand and draws her goddess's symbol under her. And deciding to end it quickly to help Naruto, she plungs her baton through her heart. when it happens, the ones she struck start to spit up blood and then they just fall down dead.

The rest of the mob stares in utter despair. Hiruzen turns to the anbu and orders them to take care of the mob. after that he and Hinoka take Naruto to the Hokage tower. As they wait for Naruto to wake up they discuss some things they felt the other needed to know.

A couple hours Naruto stirs from unconsciousness and sees that he is in the the Hokage tower and turns to see the old man talking a woman he doesn't recognize. As he sits up on the couch, the others notice.

"Naruto-kun, are you alright?" asks the woman. He nods his head and turns to Hiruzen. "Jiji. who is this?" Naruto asks with confusion. "Her name is Hinoka. She is new to the village and just our shinobi ranks. She is the one that saved you from the mob." Naruto turns to her and flashes her with a big smile.

Hinoka smiles at Naruto, seeing him happy. "Hi Naruto-kun, I'm glad you're feeling better. Also Hokage-sama is allowing me to adopt you and raise you. I'll be like you older sister." Hinoka says with he genuine smile not leaving her face. Naruto lights up hearing her saying she would be his big sister. He then jumps up and hugs her crying tears of happiness.

Couple hours later after Naruto and Hinoka gathered everything Naruto had in his old apartment, they walk up to their new home. Hinoka scowled when she saw the state of Naruto original apartment: broken windows barred up, scorched marks on it, crude works painted on the front of the building.

As she and Naruto start settling down, she calls him over to discuss somethings. "Naruto-kun. I know we don't know each other properly so I thought since we are gonna live together that we get to know each other better." Hinoka states, which Naruto nods in repsonse. "Now I know a lot about you thanks to Jashin-sama," which Naruto looks with surprise in response, "Now I know you are her champion and of your tenant and the general understanding of how your treated, but I wish to know you proper and for you to know me." Hinoka says. And for the next couple hours telli g each other about themselves.

After they finish talking they settle down for the night. As Naruto gets settled, he feels his sister join him in the bed."Onee-chan?" he whispers. "I'll always be hear for you Otouto." Hinoka whispers back, hugging him and bringing him close to her. Then Naruto snuggles closer to his sister and for the first time in a while, feel into a peaceful sleep. Looking foward with hope in his heart for the coming days with his new family.
