Hakurei shrine
It was a peaceful day, the weather was great and no sign of the four fairies trying to play a prank. Overall Reimu was content with just being lazy but she had this feeling that something was going to happen since the moment she woke up and it put her in a bad mood.
"Those good for nothing yokai they better not start anything again, it's still too soon" Reimu sighed heavily and took a sip of her tea while watching the entrance of her shrine. "It's too peaceful"
Misty lake
The sun was up high but mist covered the entire lake and surrounding areas but that didn't stop a few fairies and yokai from playing around.
"Hahaha I am the strongest" Cirno the ice fairy loudly said to her fellow fairies and yokai friends who were chasing her. "You can't catch me haha"
Suddenly her vision went dark, she could see nothing; it was as if light was absent.
"What?! Rumia that's cheating, surprise attacks are not fair!"
"Is that so?~ Cirno-chan?" A voice came from somewhere in the darkness whom Cirno knew was Rumia. "I am not here to play today Cirno-chan, I came here to tell you and Dai-chan that your so called savior will be visiting Gensokyo"
"What? When? Where?" Cirno asked in a serious tone which was out of character for her.
"Everyone knows where everyone gathers to have parties in Gensokyo, meet you there this evening Cirno-chan~" And with that Cirno gained her vision back.
'I gotta tell this to Dai-chan right now' She flew towards the forest to find said friend.
Garden of the sun
Yuuka Kazami, the so-called flower yokai was watering her new flowers when she felt a faint but familiar presence in Gensokyo.
"So, finally came back to visit us?" She asked looking towards the direction of the Hakurei shrine and smiled.
"Ayaya, is this a scoop? The flower yokai smiling? And towards the Hakurei shrine? I have to check it out" And with that pure and honest reporter of Gensokyo flew off.
Moriya shrine
"Yakumo, why are you here?" Yasaka Kanako the goddess of Moriya shrine narrowed her eyes at the person who just appeared from a gap inside the shrine.
"Can't a girl visit her friends once in a while?" Yakumo Yukari the yokai of the gaps asked while covering her lower face with a fan. "I came here to give invitation"
"An invitation? From whom may I ask?" Kanako asked, still eying Yukari suspiciously.
"You and Suwako know that person very well but it is a surprise, at the Hakurei shrine this evening" And Yukari disappeared in the void filled with many ever watching eyes.
Somewhere inside a void filled with eyes
"Are you sure you want to invite so many people?" Yukari asked.
"The more the merrier, little Yukari, the more the merrier" a voice answered lightly laughing. "I know you wanted to look mature but what's with that body of yours? You look like an old hag"
"Shut it" Yukari snapped at the voice.
"Oh little Yukari is at her rebellious phase, ah… how fast the children grow" The voice said with a sniff like it was shedding tears of joy.
"I am going to prepare the shrine with the current Miko" Yukari said with a sigh and disappeared.
"Good luck!"
