Hakurei shrine
When Yukari came out of a gap with a stack of money in her hands and waved it on top of the donation box, Reimu quickly approached her and took the stack of money out of her hand.
"I haven't even said what the money is for Reimu" Yukari smiled at the antics of the girl in front of her.
"I don't care and what do you want Yukari?" Reimu looked up briefly at Yukari and resumed counting the money.
"I just want to use your shrine for a meeting, you see someone important will be visiting us today"
"And why my shrine?"
"There will be sake and food"
"Deal! I'll leave the preparation to you, I have a job to do in the village bye!" And…. Reimu flew away.
"That girl, what am I going to do with her?" Yukari sighed. "Ran start the preparation, I still have people to visit"
Slowly the sun was setting and many people, mostly yokai, were already at the shrine. One of them being Suika and Yuugi who were done transporting food and sake were sitting on top of the shrine drinking.
The others were the two goddesses of Moriya shrine and their shrine maiden, Kochiya Sanae who was helping Reimu set things up and Kirisame Marisa floating on her broom chatting with them.
"So.. what's all this about Reimu? Marisa asked, still floating on her broom.
"I don't know, go ask Yukari" Reimu smiled. "I got compensated and that's all that matters"
" I heard it was someone who knew both Kanako-sama and Suwako-sama a long time ago" Sanae said standing in a thinking pose.
The next to arrive were the Eientei crew, Yagokoro Eirin, Houraisan Kaguya, Reisen Udongein Inaba and Twei Inaba who appears to have secretly followed the other three.
The sun had almost set and the sky was almost dark. Prism river sisters were entertaining those who had already arrived.
Someone arrived at the torii gate of the Hakurei shrine, almost everyone could feel the presence of the person, a green haired woman wearing a checkered vest and skirt carrying a parasol. It was Kazami Yuuka, the flower yokai and said to be one of the most dangerous yokai in Gensokyo due to rumors of her being an extreme sadist.
The thing which spooked them the most was that Yuuka was smiling cheerfully and emitting an aura of calmness, extremely opposite to the aura one would feel when near her garden.
"Why do I think Yuuka is so giddy? It is giving me goosebumps ze." Marisa shivered slightly. "Last time she was like that was when she fought Yukari in a non danmaku fight"
"Yes, she was smiling like crazy" Reimu added. "But if anyone try anything, I will kick them hard and that includes you too"
"Oi!, I don't start trouble ze!"
Almost every important people in Gensokyo were now at the shrine.
Tenma, leader of the tengu came with four guards
Komeiji Satori and her pets, somehow Yukari managed to drag them to the surface.
Keine and Mokou escorting Hieda no Akyuu.
Iku was sent as the representative for the celestials and Tenshi followed her.
Byakuren and her followers were here to keep the others from destroying the shrine.
Remilia was bored so she dragged Patchouli with her and Sakuya followed.
Somehow Shinki was also there talking with Yuuka and beside them was Alice looking embarrassed.
"So when is this person coming, Yukari?" Reimu asked as she was already tired of waiting and wanted to start the 'party'.
"He is already here but won't show himself until everyone is here" Yukari leaned out of a gap. "We are only waiting for three more"
" And who are the three?"
" There they are"
Three figures landed in front of the shrine, one was Rumia and the other was Daiyousei in a beautiful green dress that a princess from western fairytale would wear only the skirt was as long as her normal dress.
The third figure however was undoubtedly Cirno but she was wearing what looked like armor, a metal breastplate and shoulder guard with boots. She had a large sword on her back and her wings were much larger and looked like swords. She also didn't show any emotion, almost like Kokoro.
"Is that you Cirno?" Marisa wasn't sure the person with blue hair really was Cirno or not. Since she would play with the fairies sometime, Marisa knew Cirno and Daiyousei well but….this was something else.
"Yes, Miss Marisa I am" Cirno answered in a respectful and mature tone.
" You and Daiyousei look different"
"We just felt like going back to how we used to be before we came to Japan, Miss Marisa"
Marisa turned to Rumia who just smiled innocently.
"Ah! Daiyousei! You look so beautiful and cute in that princess dress!" Sanae squealed and hugged the fairy tightly. "Why don't you come to the Moriya shrine and be a shrine maiden, I am sure we will get more visitors just to see you in a shrine maiden outfit!"
With a swift and deadly precision Cirno drew her sword which was more than half her size and pointed at Sanae's throat. "Please Miss Kochiya, put her down you're ruining her dress"
"Ah Cirno, calm down you know she won't do anything" Daiyousei said calmly.
"I apologizeMiss Kochiya" Cirno bowed. "Come on princess let's find a place to wait"
And the two of them walked away to find a spot leaving Reimu, Marisa and Sanae speechless.
"Cirno-chan used to be a Royal knight before she and Dai-chan came to Japan before Gensokyo was made" Rumia told them like a child telling her parents about something new she found. She raised her arms. "Reimu carry me in your arms again please!"
It was now dark but a few magical lights and lanterns did the trick. Only the two oni had touched the drinks, the others didn't want to embarrass themselves before it officially started.
"Sorry for making all of you wait for me" a voice rang out of nowhere and light started to gather in front of the donation box attracting everyone's attention. "Long time no see, old friends"
