CandyLuv99; I can guarantee Sarabi II won't turn out like her great-grandfather. Kion's return will definitely be interesting.

Time seem to fly after the bittersweet farewell of Samira. Alvina and everyone didn't know she was running off to be with one of Scar's grandsons.

Samira's excuse was that she wanted to travel. So no one tried to stop her but made sure that the tannish lioness came back to visit.

Currently, as the sun shined brightly and bathed the Pridelands with a golden glow and everyone was into their lives for the day. Queen Kiara sat on the peak of priderock looking over the kingdom thinking about what has happened since the departure of one of her best friends.

The twins were rambunctious, adventurous nine month old cubs. Always trying to out do the other.

Kiara's ears twitched at the sound of her sons in their daily competitive argument. She was concerned, this couldn't be healthy. Which make her think about what Nadra said the day that the twins was born.

The light gold lioness shook her head to knock those thoughts out. It was decided that both of the boys would rule, there wasn't a law that said there had to be one king.

Kiara stood and headed down priderock's promontory where she came across her sons in front of the main cave in another stand off.

"I'm faster than you!" yelled a nine month old light gold cub with a dark red tuff on his head.

"How is that?! When you run as fast as a snail!" a red-brown cub with a black tuff with a significant curl above his right eye, yelled back.

"Take that back, Jesús!"

Jesús blew a raspberry before smirking, his dark brown eyes gleaming. "Make me, Kopie!"

Kopa growled before pouncing and that's when Kiara decided it was time to step in. Just as she saw her oldest son chop down on his brother's ear.

"Kopa the second, stop bitting your brother's ear this instance!"

The light gold prince looked up with green eyes shinning innocence. "I didn't do anything, mom."

Kiara who raised a eyebrow as she narrowed her own green eyes before growling lowly, not enough to scare her son but enough for him to stop the lying. "Do you want to spend the rest of the day with me and Aunt Stara while we teach your sister hunting?"

Kopa's expression paled as he flatten his black rimmed ears against his head. "No mom."

Kiara nodded satisfied with her second youngest answer. "Now you and your brother go run and play...nicely." the light gold lioness made sure to stretch out nicely.

"Yes mom." Kopa and Jesús replied at once before dashing off.

Kiara shook her head with a small smile before heading towards the waterhole where no doubt, Stara and Sarabi were waiting.

...

"Took you guys long enough." groaned a goldish cub with a small bit of spiked goldish fur on her head as she rolled her greenish eyes.

Prince Jesús glared at his friend. "Hey! It's hard traveling with someone that moves like a snail!"

"Or a turtle!" came a cute little giggle from a light cream cub who walked over with playful dark brown eyes.

Skye wasn't born in the Pridelands. She like the queen and Kader was adopted.

The light cream cub was actually adopted by Prince Ahadi and his mate, Kader.

The brothers remember that day well, after all if it wasn't for them, Skye wouldn't be here at all.

A Few Months Ago

After having their royal lessons, Kopa and Jesús had their daily race.

Jesús was determined to beat his brother, but being a little bit smaller than his light gold brother makes things tricky.

That's why Kopa promised to show Jesús how to run faster, the reason why the red-brown cub was smiling as he caught his breath.

"Did you see? I actually kept up the entire time."

Kopa smiled at his brother, pride beaming from his young green eyes. "Told you I could help. Now to work on your fighting."

Jesús frowned before folding his ears back. He was about to respond when he noticed something out of place.

Running across the Pridelands not far ahead was a small light cream cub. Had to be no more than a month, she had scraps and bruises. Fresh blood leaking down her body. Behind her was large light cream lion with a black mane and from where Jesús was it didn't look like it was a friendly game of tag.

"We got to tell dad!"

Kopa was confused before he saw what his brother seen and nodded. Only they didn't find their father but they did find their Uncle Ahadi.

Prince Ahadi dashed across the Pridelands and leapt in between the exhusted and abused cub and the snarling light cream lion.

"Get out of my way, whelp!"

Ahadi looked at the cub who no later passed out as soon as she seen the prince. The light beige lion growled before turning his orange eyes on the light cream lion. "Not a chance! Now I'm going to ask you to leave!"

"Not without my daughter!"

Ahadi couldn't believe this. "All the more reason why you are never going near this girl again! Now get out!"

The light cream lion growled, his dark brown eyes burning until he seen the other lion's orange eyes glowing. "You'll regret this, my friend."

Ahadi watched the unconscious cub's father run off before he grabbed the badly bleeding cub and ran towards priderock.

"Guys!"

Kopa and Jesús shook their heads to end the memory before looking up to see their uncles and Taka looking down at them.

Ahadi smiled before walking over to his nephews. "I'm glad you got here because we need to start your lessons."

Kopa shared a look with his brother before looking at the light beige, brownish mane lion. "Um...Uncle Ahadi...we're already having our lessons."

Kader laughed before shaking his head. "No. Another lesson that is very important. Yes the both of you will be king but one of you will also have another job."

Jesús frowned before tilting his head. "What job would that be?"

Ahadi chuckled before responding. "Why the leader of the Lion Guard of course."
