This is just a quick in the middle between chapters. I'm not a one and done story, (hopefully) and I haven't really lost motivation, the thing is im a student so i've been busy. I'm still going to update soon. If I focus it'll be in by 7-8 pm E.S.T. I want this story to be good, I don't want it to be bad, but I also am trying to conscious of all my mistakes. On another, note, I want to thank you, the person/people reading this, for reading this. Even if you don't like it, im glad you read it. I used to write Fanfics on an alternate account, but they never garnered more than 6 total reads. It really put a downpour on my parade, so ever since i came to this website, I've been finding more success. Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Now here are some questions you guys will probably be wondering?
What the hell is Emilia's quirk? To put it simply, it gives spirits physical form. Since I'm meshing to VERY different worlds, its difficult to incorporate spirits, so think of them as quirk genes. Each spirit has a different quirk, and different strength. This does not mean she is contracted with them, it just means the area around her will allow them physical form. The spirits that are strong enough keep the physical form, the weakest spirit that can do this is a Lesser Spirit, who can only do it for a few seconds at a time. Greater Spirits like puck however, can keep their form for nearly 15 hours without rest. Lastly, their are artificial spirits, like Beatrice (who will come within the next two chapters I promise) who doesn't need Emilia's quirk to have a physical form. However, this also comes at the price of aging. Artificial Spirits age at the rate of a normal human, unlike their long lifespan, they tend to physically age normally. (Human life span: can go up to 120 years, Artificial Spirit lifespan: averages around 140, with the oldest living artificial spirit being nearly 300). Greater spirits can live up to 4,000 years, and lesser spirits tend to live around 150 years.
Subaru's quirk is NOT return by death, but fear not RbD will still be used in the fic. Subaru's quirk is S̶̶̶̶̶̶̷̶̶̶̶̶̵̶̶̶̶̨̩͎̱̦̥̪͔̲̝̦͙̳̹̘͕̤̠ͨ͑̐͗͐̑̈́̍̓́͛́̌̓ͫ̑̑͘̚̚͜͞͞ɐ̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̧̛̩̲̪͙̩̲̲̹͙̻̘͔ͨ̓͛ͨͬͦ̍́̔̀͗̌̀ͤ̊̈̈́ͩ͐̓͘͘͞͠͡ͅƃ̶̶̶̶̶̴̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̸̶̵̶̨̨̢̘̳̪̬̹̲̗̗̩̹̰͇̳̫͖̈̂ͮͮͮ͂̓̽͂͆͐ͧͮ̅͗͂̀̉͘͘͢͞͝ǝ̶̈́͏̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̶̡̧͙̜͈̹̱͎̟̬͎̰̫̞̪͖͎̬̽͛̎̓̋̒ͬ͂̅ͩͮ́ͩ̽̀ͤͯͬ̂̉͋ͨ͟͜͟͞. you can figure out his quirk works, because it's most certainly similar to Subaru Natsuki from Re:Zero, similar to All for One and One for All, just nor in the way you'll probably expect. Is it super broken and op? Maybe, it's up to circumstance. If used properly, he can be as strong as Reinhardt, however every quirk comes at a cost.
This series will contain spoilers for anime only for both, Re:Zero fans and My Hero fans. This is a warning before I get all the arcs in. Yes, Subaru will meet the main UA cast. It's one of the more important things that happens.
Now about Subaru. Subaru in his world was stronger than most teenage athletes. However, that's about average or above average for a person with a quirk. Take for example, Mineta. Mineta is about the size of a baby, yet he's seen to able to scale walls with his quirk and raw physical strength. He was able to get to the 1-A class, where kids with VERY powerful quirks go, such as Bakugou, Todoroki, Midoriya, and others are put in. While you could argue that he isn't very strong or smart, he can show otherwise. With the ability to make split second decisions and was able use is quirk to complete the quirk challenge. This also shows to fruition during the sports festival when he grapples onto Momo Yaoyorozu to get past the first stage. He was also able to stick onto his sticky balls that don't have a sticky property on him with pure strength. Does this mean I like Mineta? No, screw him. But what this does mean that the average person with a quirk can at least do that, and seeing as Subaru has done 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, and 100 squats, with a 10km run everyday (that's actually cannon), it would be safe to assume he can at least be as strong if not stronger than the average quirk holder.
Lastly, the witches of sin. I have no clue how the hell im going to deal with them. They will have an impact on the world somehow someway, just in which way and what to do with them isnt entirely clear. I have an idea, but it's still an idea that will be changed.
Once again, thanks. Sincerely, Kuruno
