The Maunos System is located in the Maharlika Sector, near the border of Segmentum Ultima and Tempestus. Maunos III, the planet chosen is a rocky, wind swept and almost barren of life aside from a few creatures emerging from the small oceans like in Terra' prehistoric past. The 3 oceans themselves are , only around 1000 miles wide but are filled with life and contains enough fish and other life forms to feed a colony of millions for centuries.

Beneath it however are loads of valuable minerals, adamantium ore, ceramite parts and countless other variable metals needed for a forge world. Had the Administratum discovered this world, it would have ended up as a mining world. But since the Cult Mechanicus are the discoverers, its potential is so much more.

Within the year, he began gathering the needed favors. The Fabricator General had granted him one Dictator-class Cruiser, two Sword-class Frigates, one Firestorm-class Frigate and two Claymore class Corvettes to pose as the planet' main defense fleet.
