"How do we begin?"
Kronika smiled when the two revenants one who was the former champion of earth Liu Kang, now Emperor of Netherrealm and the Empress Kitana. Both of whom were loyal to her son as the former one asked her as she prepare to sculpt the Hourglass to bring the past into the present.
"Start by letting us offer you our power."
The voice partly started Kronika as she stopped what she was doing, dropped her smile and turned around to see what looked to be two demons appearing out of no where standing side by side.
One of them look like a warrior, with four yellow eyes which may have been made by hell itself, white long hair at the back of his head while what looked to be antlers at the top front of the head.
The other one had what looked to be a cap of some sort while his hair was All spiky, his body mostly all red save for his head as they both began to walk towards her.
Liu Kang and Kitana both who were revenants got into defensive positions preparing to defend Kronika as she looked at the two demons with a curiosity look on her face.
"Who are you?" Kitana asked with vemon partly coming out of her voice as the two demons smile as the one with the cape spoke.
"I am Mephisto," The now identify demon answered as he putted a hand to himself then to his partner, "And he is Trigon"
Kronika floated between Liu Kang and Kitana as they both looked at her as Kronika looked at the two demons. Raising one of her eye brows she then asked the question after a brief moment of silence, "Why are you here?"
Mephisto smirked as he raised one of his hands and casted something, at first Kronika, Liu Kang and Kitana thought they were gonna attack, but then they were suddenly somehow on earth as Mephisto began his tale
"We have been both been banished by our respected foes," showing himself in one of the illusions the three people looked to see a group of unknown people fighting Mephisto, while a man in a red white and blue suit with a shield in one hand and a golden gauntlet with six color stones another, "Imprisoned to realms different to your own. I was banished by Captain America after trying to steal the Infinity Gauntlet." Mephisto said in disgusted as the now identify Captain America, made a colorful Portal to which was sucking the illusion Mephisto screaming but not before the color of the Portal change to a dark orange as the demon disappeared behind it.
The illusion change to see Trigon in a giant form battling another group of heroes, one with a S symbol on his chest began hitting trigon in the face while the others battled his demons.
"Trigon by his daughter, Raven." Mephisto then said as a young girl with a purple cloak casted a spell which banished Trigon through a Portal before it closed. The illusion changed a third time into a realm that looked like the netherrealm. There Kronika saw the two demons meeting each other for the first time.
"With our combined power we notice you and the hourglass and decided In order to get our revenge we aid you," Trigon concluded as the illusion ended and the five back in where the hourglass is at.
Liu Kang though was hesitation though as he looked at the two demons, his stance less defensive but still ready to fight as a question came out, "What possible power can you give Kronika?"
Mephisto step forward raising a hand with a finger pointing up with a smile that he always makes, "Not only power, but allies."
Kitana was confused at that statement along with Liu Kang, Kronika too, looking at the cape demon she asked, "Allies?"
Trigon stepped forward too nodding, "Yes in our own realm our enemies fight their own." He casted a small projection of the villians of both his and Mephisto realms, each one looking dangerous. One of them was laughing like a manic with a dark smile on his face with some sort of white make up with a red big lipstick surrounding his mouth. Another with teeth grin like look in a big black suit. Kitana gave a partly disgusted look as this thing reminded her of her dead clone Milenna.
Ending the projection. Trigon contuine, "you'll gain so much more than just the revenants and the past. You also gain our own."
Kronika glared at the two demons after she looked at the projections that the two demons gave her, still a little wary, she gave a curious yet suspicious look as she asked, "If I'm granted this power and these allies by you two, what do you want in return?"
Mephitso gave a evil smile as he gave his answer that he and trigon know two well when dealing with their mortals, and manipulating them he then answered, "To free us from our imprisonments and the powers we have given to you will be forever yours."
Kronika began to think on it, as she putted a hand to her chin in thought.
On one hand she would gain a ton of allies not from one but two different multiverses, giving her some extra muscle and maybe intelligent to counter Raiden and his allies, giving Kronika the time she needs in order for to get the crown and reshape the time without Raiden
On the other hand though she couldn't trust these two demons. They're offer sounded two tempting, and something told her that there was a different motive behind their deal.
Never the less, if gaining their power, and allies means fulfilling her plan in a new era, then she'll take it. Looking at the two demons she gave her smile as she spoked, "You have yourselves a deal."
The demons gave their evil smile as the two revenants looked at each other. Part worry, but still they can't help as a dark smile appeared as one thing cross their mind, their revenge will be complete against Raiden, and with their new allies, they will take their rightful place.
