The construction of additional mines and manufactorums were the focus of the menials during the last few years but Maunos III now has enough automated factories to begin production of civilian goods and machinery such as refridgerator, microwaves, aircars, aeroplanes and shuttles . A few Chartist Captains began visiting up the new Forge World, picking up high value items and electronics to sell to the wealthy In addition, the Administratum had also sent Tithe Requests, thankfully far below than the current industrial potential of the world at this stage.
The tithe was completed two months ahead of the expected time, although the lack of orbital spaceports at the time reduced efficiency, a situation now resolved for the next tithe.
The Manufactorums for Skitarii were also completed, in addition to the quarters and barracks needed for them, keeping them well rested and ready to fight. The menials were also not neglected, constructing simple entertainment centers to keep them busy and as a reward for their work and keep them compliant and docile while clinics were made to keep track of population' health.
The aqua farms are also completed at this time, increasing the amount of food available for the populace, which has seen a small growth within the previous years as Humans have always done. These new young children will later grow into menials and further increase the worker count.
The primary focus are the three dockyards in orbit which started last year, finally making use of the ore obtained by the Mining Ships, allowing a significant increase in trade efficiency. They have just finished this year and the continous trade are attracting more chartist captains seeking products to sell to the worlds of Maharlika. The wealth earned from these sales were used to purchase slaves and menials from nearby Hive World, increasing your work force by nearly 15,000 this year. Many are healthy or at least decent by hive world standards although some experienced Agoraphobia as they beheld the open sky of Maunos III for the first time.
Magos Gallan had also, began his research into lasguns, specifically what model should be the main export as his previous experiences as an Engineseer for the Imperial Guard gave him plenty of insight on the needed weaponry by the average soldiers.
He brought with him the main schematics of different patterns of lasguns and recommended two main models for production.
One is the venerable Triplex-pattern, a model primarily used by the Mordian Guard and the Valhallans, which is well known for its select fire capability as the main model to be produced by the not-yet Forge World of Maunos due to its high demand by many Imperial Regiments. Although slightly more expensive than the common Kantrael and Mars Patterns, they are much more effective and short and medium ranges.
Another is the fearsome Lucius, model 98 Lasgun, a much slower but much more powerful Lasgun model sacrificing rate of fire for power and accuracy, reducing a single power-pack to only 25 shots.
These models, along with the common Russes, Chimeras and Sentinels will be produced for the next tithe from the administratum as well as expanding the Skitarii numbers from the menials, although at this moment, remains limited due to the demand for workers.
Finally, the biggest improvement is the command quarters. The addition of rows of cogitator banks, advanced auspex arrays and a shield generator alongside AA missile batteries will provide protection should an enemy attack the forge world.
