" I met someone who looks like Ojii-san when he was young but has green eyes and his name is Tatsuya Ooguro."
The last thing her niece said through their video call when she congratulates her on being the representative. Maya sighs remembering the painful and sad memory she had in her son.
' Tatsuya' Maya thought remembering that her father exiled her son and her ex-husband when they found out that he has a dangerous power.
' I wonder how he's been doing for the last 15 years.' Maya thought. She remembers how happy she is when she gave birth to her son, Tatsuya. They spend a happy and peaceful life as a family until they discover that her son has the power of material burst which is not considered magic in this era and consider dangerous.
Her ex-husband who she falls in love deeply plead for their son's life thus resulting in being exiled and got their memories altered. Maya felt helpless watching her husband and son's mind altered and their memories together as a family are erased by her father. It feels like her father killed her husband and son. She can only grieve in silence as she watches them leave the manor.
Thus, she isolates herself and works continuously to cope with the pain she felt. The clan members propose that she get married to someone part of the 10 master clan which she refused since no man she is comfortable intimately with aside from her son and her husband.
Her ex-husband.
Who from the start is hated by the Yotsuba members. He, who does not have an ounce of psions in his body, no magical power but she still fell in love with him. She is the only man she utterly fell in love with that she even cut off her engagement with Seagusa to be with him.
' It's been 15 years. Did he already find someone to love?' Maya thought sadly and jealousy imagining her ex-husband finding another woman and raising Tatsuya together.
' I have no right to be with them anymore. I choose my clan over my family. How pathetic I become.' Maya thought bitterly. She was snap out of her thoughts when someone knocks on her door.
" Come in" The door opened and entered 3 people inside. Hayama, the head butler of Yotsuba announces the arrival of her twin sister Miya, who is older than her and matches her beauty, and Miyuki, her niece who is now attending First Magic HighSchool.
" Ah. Good evening, Sister. What brings you here?" Maya asks watching them enter her office and watch as her niece greeted her. She motioned the two of them to seat in the vacant chair.
" Good evening sister... Miyuki found something that we found suspicious. We decide to take it to you since it concerns our family" Miya motion Miyuki to give the flash drive. Miyuki approach her aunt and gave the flash drive to her.
" Here Obaa-san," Miyuki said.
" You said it concerns our family. Did you already look inside it?" Maya ask her niece
" We look it briefly and found the folder titled 'Yotsuba's Secret'. And Okaa-san suggests to bring it here to see it together" Miyuki answers her aunt who nods in acceptance at her answer.
" Hayama-san. Can you please project it on the screen so we can see it all?" Maya ordered her butler which Hayama followed. The screen shows the title of the folder "Yotsuba's Secret".
" A video?" Maya asks in confusion as they open the file and show videos inside. "Play the first one Hayama-san" Maya ordered, the intrigue of what the video content and suspicious if it is the secret of Yotsuba.
Chapter 1: Genzou Youtsuba's Secret (Part 1)
They stare in shock at the title shown on the screen. Maya look at her butler who also looks at the screen intently.
" Do you know anything about this Hayama-san?" Maya asks the head butler who shook his head.
" Nothing Ojou-sama. But I always notice that Genzou-sama always went outside without escorts and went alone to an unknown place. No one ever asks a question but when someone asks, his answer is always the same." Hayama answered.
"Suspicious" Maya muttered looking at the screen as she presses play once again.
' What kind of secret does Otou-sama hide?' Maya thought along with her sister Miya
Dahan Kunlunfang Institute
2062 A.D.
Three of the occupants in the room tense at the mention of place and the year. Miyuki glance warily at the screen, she learns from her tutor what happened in that year, and seeing it will bring trauma to the others.
Maya clench her fist at the sudden memories assault her mind. She remembers how she was kidnaped during the cultural exchange in Taipei. The men and soldier plan to rape her but somehow someone intervenes before they can do what they plan. She remembers someone killed those men around her but when she tries to remember the face of her savior, her mind still in a haze.
She asks her father who rescues her and the only answer she got is.
" He chose to hide his identity. But I know that your heart will recognize your savior. Who knows, maybe you'll marry him someday."
The incident is also the reason why she doesn't want to be touched by men. Except for 2 people.
' I understand if it's Tatsuya since he is my son but my husband is still a mystery until now. I always feel comfortable and safe with him' Maya thought that her husband is the first one she is comfortable with when it comes to touching.
A group of scientists gathers around the crystal as they keep pumping psions hoping to destroy the crystal. A crystal that they stole from one of the convoys of the Alvarez Tech.
" Alvarez Tech. Interesting." Maya mused wondering what Alvarez discover. Alvarez Tech is a well-known company in the world. Its influence is not tied to the government, instead, they are an independent company that no one ever controls. No one dared to make a move against the Alvarez Tech.
" Isn't it the Alvarez Tech is the number one technology company in the world?" Miyuki asks.
" Yes. They are. With the advancement of their technology that they manage to surpass our company." Miya answers her daughter. Alvarez Tech is the greatest competition in the company and the most mysterious company in the world since no one ever had a glimpse of the owner of the company.
' I wonder what Alvarez Tech did to Dahan that stole their technology?' Maya thought watching the scene.
They are trying to destroy the crystal since inside it is a person. A human being that is either dead or in a coma. They suspect that it's a weapon that Alvarez Tech created and now they got hands on it. They plan to use it to gain more power.
Their eyes widen at the video. Seeing the crystal, they can see someone inside it but they can't see the full figure.
" So someone beside me is in the facility? That the Alvarez Tech owned." Maya said
" Maybe they are the ones who save you," Miya said to her sister. Surely, Alvarez Tech won't take kindly to someone who takes what is theirs.
"That makes sense though why are we still not have a partnership with Alvarez if they save me. Knowing Otou-sama, he is the one who will offer his gratitude by partnering with them."
" Then. We can watch what will happen next" Miya stated as her twin nod.
They keep pumping the crystal of psions not noticing the person's eyes opened. They notice the crystal breaking when it suddenly starting to crack and heated.
BBBOOOOOOMMM
The scientists that surrounded the crystal are all thrown away at the explosion. A man can be seen kneeling in the ground as the crystal broke. His tattoo on his right side is noticeable (imagine Ignia tattoo on Natsu). His eyes snap open hearing his surroundings. He looks around trying to make sense around him.
Their eyes widen especially Maya seeing the figure on the screen as they gape in shock. She makes Hayama pause the video seeing the man that she knows very well. The man she hasn't seen for 15 years.
" N-No way... Is that Natsu!?" Miya asks incredulously. Her brother-in-law is kind but her clan considers him the most useless and disgraceful husband of Yotsuba.
" Is that Obaa-san's ex-husband?" Miyuki asks. She heard a story from her tutor of how her auntie married a useless man and gave birth to a defect of a son that the man produces.
" What is he doing there!?" Maya asks incredulously. She never knew her husband was in the same place as her when she was kidnaped.
' Is he an Alvarez Tech weapon?' Maya thought worried for her husband's being especially now that his memories are altered.
' Where am I?' The man thought trying to remember but it all came blank. He heard a cough that snaps out from her thoughts. He looks at the men in front of him who are wary of him." Where am I?" He asks studying the men in front of him. He can feel darkness surround them and it makes his blood boil for no reason.
'Why is it I feel so much darkness inside them? They're eyes. It feels familiar. The look of the greed of power.' The man thought standing from his position.
" You are in Dahan. We found you in the crystal. And we've been trying to get you out. We are part of the government, we can help you settle down." One of the men said smiling creepily at him while offering his hand.
The man didn't know what to do but he raises his hand and accept the offered hand.
Maya somehow feels displeased seeing her husband accept the hand. She starts to feel doubt wondering if he allied himself with Dahan.
' No. He will never do that. And I'm sure my father will not allow that' Maya thought trusting her husband's love for her.
RRRIIIPPP
" AAAAAHHHHHHH"
Blood pour on the ground as the man's arm is ripped out from his body. His hand is now on the hands of the man. The scientist readies their weapon and points it at the man. The soldiers that guarding the building enter the room hearing the shouts and alarm coming from the room and point their gun at him.
" Somehow, I feel like your lying." The man muttered staring at the man who is now whimpering in the ground. He looks around and found himself surrounded.
" Oh my. Why did he hide this kind of ability from me?" Maya sigh in awe seeing the man's hand rip out from his body. Her husband never shows any kind of brutality, he is a calm, kind person and sometimes playful. It's the first time she has seen him like this. Maya is not the only one who is in shock. Hayama, Miya, and Miyuki are also look in shock at the brutality of Maya's ex-husband.
" Eh? Is that really Uncle?" Miyuki asks in shock. From what she heard, aside from his incompetence in magic, he has no experience in combat and always tries to relax in the manor. But somehow, he manages to rip the man's arm easily and they didn't even see him move.
" Natsu-sama is known for the household as someone who always relaxes in his home and reading a book. Seeing this is shocking." Hayama said. Even if he is known as a useless man in Yotsuba, Hayama knows there is something more for him seeing that his master choose him to be her husband considering she has a lot of marriage proposal.
" Then that does mean otou-san know about this? I mean, he is the one who alters his memory so there's a big chance that he saw this in his memory." Miya said
" That is true. That must be the reason why the first episode is titled after our otou-sama." Maya answered her twin sister.
" Let me leave and I will make sure you all live" He stated making the others angry.
They watch in anticipation of how he will deal with them seeing he is surrounded and nowhere to go.
" We surrounded you. Surrender or die" One of the soldiers' commands.
" So you chose death. Very well." The man said.
What happens next is unbelievable. The man disappears and reappears in the door facing his back from them.
" You should choose the first part. Don't blame me for your decisions" the man started walking out the door with his right hand covered with blood. As he closes the door, the bodies inside the room all fall to the ground.
They watch in stunned silence and awe as he killed the soldiers in a second. They never even see him move. They all stare slack-jawed at what they witness.
" What kind of magic is that?! There's not even a trace of Eidos in the area. And he is not using CAD. And by the looks of it, he killed them using his bare hands." Maya said incredulously.
' Why would he hide his ability from me. Does he not trust me?' Maya thought in sadness. If the clan knew of his ability, perhaps they won't need to exile him and their son.
" Sister. I know it is shocking to all of us but you have to calm down and watch the rest." Miya calms her younger sister knowing how Maya is hurt by her husband's and son's exiled.
' This man is not useless like what Yotsuba clan portray him to be. Despite his brutality, he still can be kind.' Miya thought looking at the screen.
The man never remembers anything but somehow, moving and fighting seems natural for him that even without his memories, he can still fight them.
" He has amnesia? Do you know about this sister?" Miya asks her twin sister who nods.
" Yes. I first met him when Otou-sama brought me in his house to teach him about magic and I learn sooner that he has no memories of his past." Maya answered her sister. She always wonders what kind of man Natsu is in the past.
His eyes narrow when he heard the voice of a woman." So I'm not alone here."
The twin flinch hearing his thoughts. They have an idea to whom the voice belongs to.
The man deduced that he's been in an experiment facility by the way the building looks and seeing the scientists surrounded him with greed in their eyes. He approaches the source of the voice and he opens the door to see the men that surrounded an examination table. He didn't see who is at the table but the men all stop what they are doing and face him.
The occupants in the room glared at the screen. Maya clench her fist remembering how they told her that she will be rape by different people. Her mind is hazy from the incident and watching the scene before her somehow repulsive to her.
Miya grit her teeth glaring at the screen. Those men dare to touch her sister. She heard from Maya about what she's been through but to see it in person is so disturbing. No wonder her sister is opposed to men touching her.
' Well. Except for Brother-in-law and Tatsuya.' Miya thought remembering how Maya is comfortable with Natsu which is one of the reasons she is approved of their marriage, he is the only one that brought Maya back to herself when she was suffering from what happened in Dahan.
Miyuki watches the scene in horror knowing what is awaiting her aunt. These men are disgusting, they deserve to die after what they did to her aunt.
" Who are you?! Don't you see we are busy here?" One of the middle age guys shouted in frustration. The man can see the person at the table. A woman tied and naked whose eyes are filled with tears. And somehow, her expression affects him. The scene in front of him is somehow disgusting and makes his blood boil in rage.
He turns to the men who are now waiting for his answer. He closes his eyes and smiles at them innocently.
" Can you all do something for me?" He asks innocently while they look at him like he is somehow crazy.
They felt a shiver in their spine hearing his question. Somehow, the way he says it brought a shiver in the spine. Something that they never imagine that he would do.
" Would you all scum die here?"
" H-Huh?"
" Go dear. Avenge me. my love" Maya said lustfully looking at the screen as she licks her lips watching the words leave her husband's mouth. This new side of him somehow added points to his charm. She loves her husband deeply that seeing his new charm did not put a negative impact on her attraction to him. She got her revenge when they attack the Dahan, but to see her husband kill those men that try to rape her is a great prize to see.
Miya let out a sigh seeing her sister's lustful gaze on the screen. Somehow, her sister's Sadistic nature is showing now that her brother-in-law shows his new side to the clan.
Before they knew it. The man reappears in front of one man. The body that surrounded the table suddenly fall. Blood pouring in the ground. One person is alive and now backing away in fear.
" M-Monster... W-Who are you?! S-Stay away from me!" The man shouted in fear but found himself in the wall.
" I don't know who am I but I still have common sense that what you all doing right now is disgusting. I make you live since I want information from you. Help me or die slowly. You choose wisely." He smiled at him innocently while some of his faces are cover with blood.
Maya savors the image in her mind. The look of innocent yet covered blood of her husband. She feels her heartbeat faster learning that the one who saves her from her doom is her husband.
" Does that mean uncle save auntie? But Why does no one knew about it?" Miyuki asks. Because her uncle saves her auntie, her uncle should be considered a hero and not some useless and disgrace in her clan.
" I think your grandpa kept it a secret from the other clan," Miya answered her daughter
" But why?" Miyuki asks.
" That I would like to find out. Looks like I will talk with father tomorrow." Maya said frowning. Her husband who is her savior is exiled along with their son. She is separated from her family because of the power-hungry clan members.
' I will find you and get you back here with me. We will be together always. I don't care about the clan anymore. It took me a long time to understand but now I know what you mean. I will never let you go again. Natsu' Maya thought forming a plan to bring her family back together. She misses the old days where the three of them enjoy their time together as a family. No clan and no responsibility getting in their way.
" I-I will give you all information I have but please spare me." The man plead.
" It depends on your behavior. If you cooperate or not. Now. Don't do something against me or I will kill you slowly. Understand?" the man said.
The man approaches the examination table and found the woman looking at him with her eyes filled with tears.
"W-Who are you?" He heard the woman ask. He can't remember his name so he can't answer her question. Instead, he just reassures her.
" You can relax now. You are safe now." He said softly patting her head. He watches as the woman nod and closes her eyes in exhaustion she's been through.
" Thank you"
He removes the strain and looks around the room finding robes. He took it and wear it to the woman. Not paying attention to her naked body.
Maya pout watching her husband not affected by her naked body. Most boys drool at her body even at a young age and seeing her husband not affected somehow brought the fire in her eyes again.
' Oh just you wait. my cute darling... I will show you and make you want me when you see me' Maya thought forming a plan in her mind of a perfect way to seduce her husband when she finds him again.
Miya sigh watching her sister's dreamy face. She knows that look. Maya has the same look when she tries to seduce Natsu when the two are still together.
' This is bad.' Miya thought knowing that her sister gains a new goal, now that she learns the identity of her savior. Even she is shocked at the revelation that the so-called disgrace by the clan is the one who manages to save her sister compare to the magicians combined in Japan.
' Why did father have to exile him and Tatsuya if he knows that Natsu is the one who saves Maya? It doesn't make sense.'
Miyuki watches in admiration as her uncle saves her aunt from danger like a knight in shining armor. And the fact he married her Aunt is so romantic from her point of view.
' It's the clan members' fault exiling Uncle. They called her love for uncle foolish and strip Aunt Maya of her happiness. I wish that they find themselves back to each other again.' Miyuki thought looking at her aunt's dreamy look on her face looking at the screen.
Hamaya, the head butler watching the scene can't help but be stunned. The man's power showed in the video is not someone they can call useless and disgraceful. The way he moves and kills coldly without an ounce of care is amazing and terrifying at the same time.
' Who are you? Natsu'
He watches the man store database in some kind of storage.
" Who is this woman and why is she here? I want a straight answer or you will find yourself without a limb." He asks casually while he took one of the robes and wear it to himself. The man jumps in fear as he transfers files faster, fearing for his life.
" Her name is Maya Yotsuba. Daughter of the Youtsuba Genzou of 10 master clan. We plan to experiment on her power and take advantage of her beauty." The man answer in rushed, not thinking clearly since he is fearing for his life. He looks around the dead of the man and still found them fully clothed. He looks at the man who is downloading the information for him.
" Give me a very detailed map of her residence. Fail to do that and you know what will happen to you. Understand?" He said leaning against the table waiting for the man to finish.
" H-Hai." He said fearfully. After a few minutes of uploading the data and showing him the device that contains a very detailed GPS showing their location and address of the girl's resident.
" Hhhmmm. This is acceptable." The man said. "You may go" He stated not looking up from the GPS.
" Don't tell me he's going to make him leave?" Miyuki asks incredulously.
" I hope not because it will be dangerous if he let someone leave," Miya answer her daughter.
" I hope he killed that guy. I hope that none of them will leave the building alive from what they have done to me" Maya said in disappointment. She hopes her husband didn't let the guy escape.
The man thank him and ran towards the door opening it for him to get away from the monster.
BUGSH
" W-Why?!The man stares wide eyes as he falls to the ground. His body lay on the floor with blood pouring out in his body. In front of him is the man carrying an unconscious Maya in his arms.
" I hate men who rape women. You didn't die slowly. Consider it as a blessing." The man started walking out of the facility. He looks at the moon and the peaceful look at the woman in his arms.
He smiles seeing the peaceful way she looks.
" Looks like I made it in time. Now, How am I going to take you back home to your family" He wonders as he walks to the road where the GPS is pointing at him.
Maya smiles widely and claps her hands in a dignified manner. She is happy that her husband didn't spare any of them. And they got what they deserve.
" He chose to hide his identity. But I know that your heart will recognize your savior. Who knows, maybe you'll marry him someday."
Maya starts to remember the precious memories with her husband since they meet each other until she gives birth to their son, Tatsuya. She even misses her life with them. She starts to form a plan in her head that will bring her family back together again.
' Looks like Otou-san is right. I did marry the man I love and the one who save me from my kidnappers. He even avenges me for the assault they have done to me. Watching this video strengthen my resolve to be with my family again. Damn the clan. I don't care what they will think of me anymore. This time, I will follow my heart like I supposed to do from the very start.'
" Hayama-san. Call my father and some of the Yotsuba clan members. I want to have a meeting with them tomorrow."
First time writing this kind of fanfic. I have little knowledge of magic regarding Mahouka and since this is a fanfic, I will be creating my theory. Lol.
I always want to write this kind of crossover and I am more interested in Maya's character.
I know Natsu's character is OOC. I think experience changes people's views so this is how I view Natsu's development.
I think most of the characters will be OOC since a lot of changes will happen compared to the original plot and I will not follow everything in the original plot.
