If Aizawa expelled…
Chapter one: A new show
Talespinner69, a Realmcrafter of some note, stood in his theater realm. He had already summoned Kotaro Tatsumi, as by this point Tale is used to having him around. "A...nother show, then?" Kotaro asked, a hint of amusement in his tone.
"Yeah, another show," Tale replied before weaving the ninja hand signs to perform his summoning powers to bring his audience in to watch the new show. Everyone was brought in this time; all of class 1-A, all of class 1-B, Aizawa, Sekijiro, Hizashi, Nemuri, Nezu, Toshinori, Hatsume, Shinso, the big three, Endeavor, Mirko, Ryukyu, Dabi, Spinner, Toga, Ms. Joke, Inko, Mitsuki, Shigaraki, Fat Gum, Gentle Criminal, La Brava, Kendo Rappa, Hound Dog, Stain, Mr. Compress, Skeptic, Gran Torino, Ishiyama aka Cementoss, and finally Edgeshot.
As everyone looked around in confusion, Tale summoned multiple little lights and sent them at the heads of everyone, making the lights go into everyone's minds to automatically fill them in on what all was going on.
"Hey, you're that Realmcrafter guy that brought us here to see realms that all had various different forms of the girls in my class and those in 1-A!" Itsuka declared when ahe pointed down at Tale where he stood in front of the big theater screen, "And your self-summoned buddy as well!"
Holding a hand up, Kotaro said, "Actually, Tale brought me here intentionally this time."
"Are we going to watch more realms again?" Shoji asked.
"Am I going to die on all of them?" Mineta remarked dryly.
Getting everyone to sit down first, Tale began to explain, "To answer in order, yes and I'm not sure yet. You see, the realms you all will be shown this time do not feature alternative versions of the 1-A and 1-B girls."
"Oh?" Aizawa remarked dryly from where he sat, "And what will they feature?"
"You, Aizawa." The underground hero's eyes widened just a little bit at what Tale said. "...You see, it's a popular habit among those of my kind to craft realms where you expel at least one of your students for one reason or another, due to your known habit of using expulsion as a threat. It...is not a quality of yours that my kind is exactly fond of most of the time."
Nodding in agreement, Nezu said, "Yes. I have been meaning to talk to Aizawa about that." Where he sat in the audience, Aizawa went a bit wide-eyed with mild worry, given that he could pick up certain hints in Nezu's tone.
Clapping his hands together, Tale went on, "Indeed. But anyway, on to the show happening on this occasion. Kotaro and I will be playing a total of twenty realms, each one featuring Aizawa expelling a different one of the students in his homeroom class, and the consequences that end up following depending on which 1-A student is given the axe."
Looking at the twenty class 1-A students, the Realmcrafter said, "ALL of you are going to be given the treatment, so none of you better make fun of one another." The twenty students of class 1-A all nodded in agreement, eliciting an amused smile from Tale. "Perfect. Anyway, let's get the first realm pulled up." Tale and Kotaro turned to face the big theater screen and turned it on to play the first realm.
...
(If Aizawa expelled Izuku Midoriya)
"We're starting with my baby?" Inko said in a worried tone, not looking forward to the idea of seeing her son axed from UA.
Shrugging, Tale said, "Hey, I have the remote set to play the realms at random. I do that in an effort to be fair."
"Well...it would be interesting to see how me not being there will have an impact on things, I suppose," Izuku remarked, sounding a bit worried at the idea of seeming himself being kicked out of the top hero academy in Japan.
Aizawa was leading his homeroom class through a state-of-the-art training facility for aspiring heroes, with said place having just opened. There were, however, two notes of interest concerning class 1-A; one, Hitoshi Shinso was among the students of Aizawa's homeroom class.
Two, Izuku Midoriya was not.
"Shinso took my place?" Izuku in the audience said, more interested than anything.
Nodding in the affirmative, Tale explained, "Yeah, it's a common occurrence in realms crafted by my people where Aizawa expels a student from his class to replace said student with Shinso. He had made quite a good impression on my kind." Where he sat in the audience, Shinso looked rather surprised.
"Alright brats," Aizawa said to his students, "Today we're going to be doing a test run of this place to see how it can hold up to the standards that UA has. Any questions?"
Aizawa saw Mina's hand go up, so he called on her. "Uhh, yeah," the pink-skinned girl began, her tone making it clear she wasn't amused, "Why did you have Midoriya expelled again?" A number of the other students all raised their voices, making it clear they shared Mina's opinion on what Aizawa had done.
Sighing in a mildly exasperated tone, Aizawa explained, "I told you all already, Midoriya was expelled because he kept injuring himself." Gently shaking his head, the underground hero went on, "It won't do him any good to be a hero who winds up in the hospital at least once every week."
"Okay, I don't injure myself that much," Izuku in the audience remarked dryly, sounding rather unamused with what Aizawa in the currently playing realm was implying.
"And a good number of the injuries that Young Midoriya gets are through no fault of his own because he either was attacked by a villain or couldn't save someone without risking injury to himself," Toshinori added.
Folding his arms over his chest, Stain remarked, "A true hero would gladly accept injury if doing so meant they'd save an innocent person in the process. Heroism is a dangerous field, and going into it without expecting being banged up a bit in the process is foolish." Spinner nodded in agreement with his idol.
As Aizawa was explaining things to his students, he was interrupted by some slow, almost sarcastic clapping. The underground hero and his students all turned to face the source of the clapping, and came face to face with none other than the villain Shigaraki. Flanking him were many members of the League of Villains.
"Aww yeah, it's my time to shine!" Shigaraki in the audience exclaimed.
"Oh shit, this can't be good," Hizashi said in a worried tone. Aizawa was getting a gut feeling that Izuku not being there was going to be a key factor in what was looking to be a redo of the attack at the USJ facility.
"It's Handjob and his gaggle of assfuck buddies!" Bakugo yelled. Pointing right at Shigaraki, the explosive teen yelled, "The fuck do you want this time?"
"First off, eat shit you vulgar little quim," Shigaraki replied to Bakugo while flipping him off, "Second, we're here to do what we failed to do when we last attacked you noobs! That being killing all of you! Mhuhahahaha!"
"Wait, didn't you attack us at the USJ because you came there for All Might?" Mineta asked, some confused curiosity entering his fearful expression.
Shrugging, Shigaraki replied, "Yes, but he no longer has power after his last fight with sensei. Also, I got it that he's no longer at UA as a teacher. Not sure where he is now."
Yaoyorozu, with a mildly sad look on her face, explained, "All Might...left UA after Aizawa-sensei expelled my classmate Midoriya."
"I can see why I'd do that," Toshinori in the audience said, "Young Midoriya is the successor to what I had entrusted to him."
"Wait," Aizawa said as he turned to face the former Symbol of Peace, "What?"
Sighing in a knowing tone, Tale conjured another small light over where he stood in front of the big theater screen, then threw the light at Aizawa, forcing it into his head and making him learn all relevant info instantly. "...There, now you know everything concerning Izuku," Tale said to the underground hero, "Have fun tearing into All Might for not sharing certain bits with you and the rest of the necessary UA staff. You can tear into him between realms we view."
"Oh, I'm going to," Aizawa said before shooting Toshinori a look that made it clear that he was VERY mad with the skinny man.
"Wait, why did he kick out the only one among you worthy to be a hero?" Spinner asked where he stood between Dabi and Mr. Compress. The lizardman villain looked honestly confused and lost as he tried to figure out Aizawa's thought process.
"Because he got pissed that Deku kept hurting himself and getting a bed in Recovery Girl's office put on permanent reserve for himself," Bakugo scoffed, "Personally, I say good riddance to that nerd. He was-"
Bakugo was cut off when Spinner, who took his katana out, rushed at Bakugo and impaled him in the chest. "...He is more hero now than you ever would have been," Spinner growled before he yanked his katana out of Bakugo's chest and swung it at the boy's neck, cleanly cutting it and taking his head off.
"What the fuck, you lizard shit?!" Bakugo in the audience yelled over at Spinner, "You got a problem with me?! You wanna take this outside?!"
"Hey, it was just our alternative realm selves," Spinner defended, "But personally, I would have to agree with my actions on the big screen."
"Your alternative self did have a point on how All Might's successor is one of the very few worthy of being a hero," Stain remarked as he folded his arms over his chest.
"Ah ha ha ha!" Shigaraki laughed, "Yes, Spinner! That's the ticket!" To all of his fellow villains, Shigaraki practically screamed, "Kill them! Kill them all! Wound the spirit of this hero obsessed society! Wound the spirit of All Might!"
"Hey, can I ask you something?" Shinso asked Shigaraki.
Turning to face Shinso, Shigaraki replied, "Sure, fine. What is-" The handy villain was cut off suddenly when he simply stopped and stood there, as if in a daze.
Smirking a bit in amusement, Shinso said, "Strangle yourself." Acting as Shinso said, Shigaraki placed his hands around his neck and began choking himself. This had an action that Shinso was not anticipating; Shigaraki's neck began to decay. Soon, enough damage was done that Shigaraki was freed from the brainwashing, but so much decay had affected his neck that soon the decayed neck crumbled away, soon followed by Shigaraki himself. He screamed in pain all the time as his neck decayed, at least up until he died.
"What the fuck?!" Shigaraki in the audience exclaimed, "That little fucker made me kill myself!"
"In the boy's defense, it looked like he wasn't expecting you dusting yourself to happen," Dabi pointed out.
As the gathered villains looked where their late leader had been standing before he was made to dust himself, Dabi looked to his fellow villains and said, "You all mind if I take Handy-man's place as leader?" A number of voices from the villains all agreed that Dabi taking over was fine by them. "Alright then," the blue flame villain said, "My first order of business as the new leader is making Toga my second in command."
"Yes!" Toga cheered, pumping both of her fists into the air.
Turning to face Aizawa and his students, Dabi said, "Second, I'm ordering for all of us to kill Eraserhead. And all of his boys too, while we're at it."
"Wait, we're leaving the girls alone?" Mr. Compress replied, a mildly confused look on his face, although his mask covered it fully.
"Oh no, we're still going to beat the absolute crap out of the girls," Dabi explained as he pounded a fist into his hand, "But we will let them live." Holding his hands out at his sides at length, Dabi added, "Because we're gentlemen."
"Well gee, ain't that generous of you," Mina in the audience said in a tone of knowing sarcasm as she looked over to where Dabi sat in the audience.
"Wait a minute," Toga began in a confused tone, "Can I even be a gentleman? I mean, I'm a girl, meaning I'm technically not the right gender to qualify..."
Dabi, with a dry and mildly unamused look on his face, just stood there in silence for a few seconds before he spoke up. "...Toga? Two things," Dabi said, "One, I'm demotoing you to being my third in command, and two, please congratulate Spinner on his promotion to being my second in command."
"Aww," Toga said in a disappointed tone. Turning to face Spinner, Toga said with a hint of resigned sadness to her words, "I hope you do your new post well, Spinner." The lizard man villain could not help but chuckle a bit at Toga's expense, mostly because she was punished for what was basically shooting herself in the foot.
Gesturing to the big screen, Dabi in the audience remarked, "Yeah, Toga was being pretty stupid with that one line of hers." Where she sat near her fellow villains, Toga folded her arms over her chest as she pouted a bit in annoyance.
The villains, acting under Dabi's orders, proceeded to rush Aizawa and his students. Due to being surrounded, the underground hero and his students saw that they had no choice but to fight back. Acting right away, Aizawa tried to activate his quirk on the villain in front of him, that being Toga.
However, Toga reached into the one pocket on her cardigan, pulled something out and threw it at Aizawa's face while saying, "Pocket sand!" Aizawa soon found himself on the receiving end of a handful of sand to his eyes, effectively blinding him and making him scream more out of surprise than pain, although sand to the eyes still stings.
"Wait a minute," Nemuri in the audience said in a confused tone as she gestured to the big theater screen, "Who carries sand around in their pockets like that?"
Scoffing a bit, Dabi replied, "I wouldn't be all that surprised if Toga did that for real. That girl's brain is a bag full of cats. You can smell the crazy on her." Toga, where she sat in the audience, still wore a pouty look on her face.
Acting quickly, Shinso got Aizawa away from the fighting while he was vulnerable. Unfortunately, this deprived class 1-A of their newest member, and right when they needed him the most. Shinso leaving the fighting already had results, with Sato, Koda and Shoji meeting their ends by Spinner, Mr. Compress and Dabi respectively; Koda's death was of a particularly gruesome fare, as Mr. Compress had simply used his quirk to trap just Koda's head in a marble, effectively decapitating him.
Tenya tried to get out and get help like he did at the USJ, but he was cut off by Toga, who tripped him by chance as he was running around. He ended up falling over and hitting his head on the floor, splitting it.
Aoyama was surrounded by Twice and his army of clones, but the original Twice said to Aoyama, "Yeah, I really don't want to hurt a girl like you, but I'm under orders to kick your ass, little lady." Pounding a fist into his hand, Twice added, "I'm going to enjoy wrecking you! Be glad that I was told to let girls like you live!"
His eyes darting from side to side, Aoyama said in as girly of a voice as possible, "Yes. I'm one of the girls in my class, alright."
"He thought that I was a girl?!" Aoyama in the audience exclaimed in indignation.
"Hey, at least you were smart enough to act on it to your advantage to keep him from killing you," Mina pointed out.
At some point, Aizawa, with Shinso's help, was able to clear the sand from his eyes. But by the point that they got there, Aizawa and Shinso saw that most of the boys had been killed, and all of the girls plus Aoyama were beaten into unconsciousness. "Hey, Eraserhead and that kid are still alive!" Dabi said as he pointed to them, "Let's go-"
*CRASH*
"Halt, villains!" Sekijiro's voice called out, making everyone stop and turn to see that Sekijiro and a whole bunch of UA teachers had arrived on scene, enough to guarantee that Aizawa and the other survivors would be saved.
...
Aizawa and Shinso, both looking shell shocked, sat on a bench outside of the new training facility as Sekijiro and Hizashi filled them in on the toll. "...With the exceptions of Shinso who was with you the whole time, and Aoyama who we got was mistaken by the villains to be a girl, all of your boys were killed," Hizashi said in a regretful tone to Aizawa.
"Huh," Mineta in the audience said in a dry and unsurprised tone, "All boys aside from Shinso and Aoyama were killed. By process of elimination, that means I was killed by the villains."
"Midoriya wasn't killed either," Todoroki pointed out, "By virtue of being expelled prior to the attack launched by the villains in this realm."
Walking by the pro heroes and Shinso were two officers escorting Dabi, who was fitted with quirk-suppressing cuffs. The blue flame villain stopped to look at where Aizawa sat. "...You know, I really ought to thank you, Eraserhead."
Looking up at the arrested Dabi, Aizawa said, "What are you on about, villain?"
Shrugging, Dabi said, "You kicked that green-haired boy out of hero school before the attack that Shigaraki launched today but I took over when Shigaraki was made to dust himself. That boy not being here made things a lot easier."
"What do you mean?" Hizashi asked.
"Since Stain said that Green Bean is worthy to be a hero, Spinner would have acted to help him rather than hurt him in any way," Dabi explained, "And Toga's obsessively in love with Green Bean, meaning she'd have attacked anyone that she saw actively trying to harm even one green hair on that boy's head. The resulting infighting among my fellow villains had Green Bean been here would have kept us from killing any of your students."
"So Deku being in 1-A is necessary for most of the rest of us guys to live?!" Bakugo in the audience exclaimed, clearly annoyed that it's heavily implied Izuku has to stick around in order for him (Bakugo) to live.
Smirking in amusement as he folded his arms over his chest, Dabi remarked, "I guess you and a lot of the other boys in your class owe Mean and Green quite a bit, ehh?"
The officers took Dabi away, but the damage was done; Aizawa fell to his hand and knees and proceeded to cry out of pain for losing so many of his students, out of regret for having kicked out Izuku Midoriya, whose presence would have brought the villains to halt.
That must be why All Might had taken an interest in the boy in the first place.
FIN
After the realm had finished playing, Aizawa sucked in a breath as he wore a worried look. "Hoo boy, imagine if I had expelled Midoriya prior to the USJ attack," Aizawa remarked as some beads of nervous sweat streaked down his face.
Turning to look right at Aizawa, Tale said with a dry and unamused look, "If you had done that, then you almost certainly would have seen at least one of your students getting killed that day. Both Tsuyu and Mineta could have been dusted by Shigaraki, and that's assuming that they had made it off of that boat alright." Both Tsuyu and Mineta gulped nervously over the close call they just now learned they had.
"Endeavor's boy wouldn't have overcome his daddy issues, at least to the extent that he's done thus far," Kotaro said, "Hell, your student Iida would have lost his life to Stain when he took him on that one time in a bid to avenge his injured older brother! Iida is alive mainly because Izuku and Todoroki bailed him out, and Todoroki wouldn't have been there had Izuku not been there to send him the location!"
"You have no idea how close of a call you had," Tale said firmly to the underground hero, "Izuku being in UA is an integral part of the realm you all live in."
Aizawa looked to be contemplating a lot, mainly how one wrong move he would have made without even thinking about it would most likely have resulted in at least three of his students being killed, and another one still stuck in the mire of daddy issues.
Clapping his hands together, Tale went on, "Anyway, we got a bit of time before the next realm. I believe you said something about wanting to talk to All Might in private, Aizawa?" A door to a break room appeared off to the side. "I'll send for you guys if the next realm's up before you two are done talking."
"Ah, yes," Aizawa said as he stood up, gestured for Toshinori to follow him, then led the former Symbol of Peace into the break room. Toshinori could tell that he was in for quite the chewing out from Aizawa.
END OF CHAPTER
Author's notes;
I actually got the inspiration for this story from seeing other fics where Izuku is expelled. I will be doing this story similar to how I do 'If the 1-A and 1-B girls were all...', where a summoned audience is made to watch realms, but this time each realm features a different 1-A student being given the axe by Aizawa and the consequences that will follow; I will do one chapter for each student in 1-A, and I got afew chapters already planned out.
Some students like Shoji and Hagakure might take me a while, though, so I'm open to ideas for why Aizawa would expel a student and the consequence that results from said expelling.
