Well here's the letter from Minato to Naruto.

Chapter 5

Naruto took a deep breath before he opened the letter from his father.

Dear Naruto-Kun,

If you are reading this letter then that means I'm dead. Know that I love you and always will.

You should have received this letter either upon becoming a Genin or just before getting married. Hopefully the latter.

Your mother should have told you about me, so that you got the truth and not what they most likely printed in the history books at the Academy.

I grew up an orphan and had a hard time in life during my early years. I didn't really come into my own until I started attending the Academy. I was known as a prodigy when it came to almost all aspects of the curriculum. After I graduated I was put on a team with Hiashi Hyuga and Tsume Inuzuka. We were an unusual team in that we were set up for both tracking and assault. Our Sensei was Lord Jiraiya of the Sannin. We all became famous due to our battles during the Third Shinobi War. Hiashi gained the title of Death Hands, Tsume and her ninja partner were called the Dogs of War, and I gained the title of Yellow Flash.

That's all I'm going to tell you about that time.

It was during this time though that I finally got my head out of the clouds and noticed how beautiful your mother was and started dating her. It took a few years but we finally got married, though it was in secret.

You may find the fact that your mother and I married in secret weird, but it was done so that the enemies of Konoha wouldn't attack and destroy the village because the two most powerful ninja of the village married. If it had gotten out that we had married, let alone having a you as our child, all of the other village's would have banded together and wiped out Konoha.

Now to get away from such a depressing subject. If your mother hasn't told you or you've read her letter to you (Kami forbid), you are betrothed to my former teammate Hiashi's daughter. I hope the two of you have grown up together and have gotten to know each other before you got told of your betrothal. Beside's the whole betrothal thing was both of your mother's ideas. Not mine or Hiashi's.

There is only one last thing I want to tell you. At the bottom of this scroll is a seal that holds the scrolls with the instruction's for my two original Jutsu's. The Hiriashin and the Rasengan. Only you will be able to activate the seal because it is set to only release its content's to a blood relative, which means you or my parents (whoever they were).

That's all I have to tell you except that I love you my son and try to carry on the legacy left by your mother and me.

Love your father, Minato Namikaze the Fourth Hokage.

Naruto looked up from the letter and smiled as tears rolled down his face, "He loved me and even left the instructions to the Hiriashin and Rasengan for me to learn."

The Third Hokage smiled as he walked around his desk and hugged Naruto while whispering into his ear, "You are a very lucky young man Naruto-Kun."

"With these two scrolls I now know who both of my parents were and that they both loved me. This just makes me want to become Hokage even more to make them proud," Naruto told everyone as he wiped the tears from his face.

Everyone smiled at him before the Hokage said, "That's good Naruto-Kun, but I think you should head home and tomorrow we will take you to your parents home so that you can move in there."

Naruto nodded and left the Hokage's office for his apartment for the last time.

Naruto awoke the next day to a pounding on his apartment's door. When he got up Scorch crawled off of his pillow and quickly climbed up his arm and curled around his neck to get comfortable.

As Naruto neared the door he scratched the side of his head and asked Scorch "Who could be here this early in the morning?"

"I don't know, but it better be good," Scorch said with a yawn.

When he opened the door he saw the Hokage standing there along with Kurenai.

"Hello Naruto-Kun. We're here to take you to your parents home. After that Kurenai will take you to meet your teammates," the Hokage told him.

"Do you have your stuff packed to take to your parents home?" Kurenai asked him.

"No, but it will only take about ten minutes to get everything ready," he told her as he stepped back and went to his bedroom to grabbed his clothes.

As the Hokage and Kurenai walked in the took a look around and saw that Naruto's apartment was in need of a lot of repair.

Kurenai turned to the Hokage with a little bit of anger in her voice "You let him live here when you knew who his parents were. That is just completely wrong. You should have gotten him a better place to live."

"I tried, but the Civilian Council blocked every attempt I made. They even made a law saying that Naruto couldn't be adopted by anyone," he told her as he tried to stop from grinding his teeth together.

"You know Hokage-sama I always wondered why we have a civilian side to our Village Council," she asked him.

"The civilian was added to our Village Council after the attack by the Kyuubi. The First and Second put it into the villages laws that if there was a time when the village needed to be rebuilt then until the village is completely rebuilt there shall be instituted a Civilian half of the Village Council," the Hokage told her as if he was reading off from a scroll right in front of him.

"Isn't the Village completely reconstructed now?" she asked him.

The Third actually took the time to think about what she said along with the Law that he recited before he smacked himself in the forehead, "You are completely right Kurenai. The Village is fully restored to the way it was before the attack of the Kyuubi. Which means that I can dissolve the civilian half of the council," he said with a bit of an evil smirk on his face.

Just then Naruto came out of his bedroom with a backpack over top of his sword, "I'm already to go Jiji and Kurenai-sensei."

"Is that all you're taking with you Naruto-Kun?" Kurenai asked him.

Naruto nodded as Scorch answered "He doesn't have much stuff that he thinks would be needed in his new house."

Naruto gave Scorch a dirty look, "You didn't have to tell them that!"

The Hokage seeing an opportunity to get in some fun said, "I'm sure your fiance and her ninja partner would love to help you decorate your parents house with you. I mean one day the two of you along with your ninja partners will be living there together."

A very light blush came to Naruto's and Scorch's checks. Though with Scorch you could barely tell with the color of his scales.

Kurenai shook her head at the Hokage's attempt at humor, "Well be better get going today is going to be very busy for you both."

Naruto nodded as the four of them left Naruto's old apartment behind and headed out to see Naruto's parents house.

A/N: I know this is another short chapter, but I'm still trying to get back into the grove of writing this story and there is a bit of filler to put in before we get to the good stuff. Like finding the other two Mystic Knight successor's as well as who the two sons of the evil witch are.
