If Aizawa expelled…
Chapter fifteen: Money talks
The audience that had been summoned by the Realmcrafter Talespinner69 had just finished watching realm number fourteen out of twenty where Aizawa expels a different one of the class 1-A students in each realm. "Well now," Kotaro said to the audience from where he stood next to Tale in front of the big theater screen, "That was an interesting realm, wouldn't you all say?"
Gesturing to the big screen, Yaoyorozu exclaimed, "That realm ended with Juzo farting in my face while I was sleeping!"
"I told you I'd never do that for real!" Juzo exclaimed back.
Sighing, Aizawa remarked, "Well there's only six realms left at this point, so we might as well get the rest of this show done and over with."
"Oh come on, Sho," Hizashi remarked, "You gotta admit that some of the realms we've seen have been pretty damn funny."
Turning to face Hizashi, Aizawa retorted with a hint of irritation in his tone, "I just want to get out of here, like, as soon as we can, alright?!"
The spike in irritation in the underground hero's tone didn't escape notice. "Woah, woah, woah, what's with the temper?" Kotaro asked.
Aizawa simmered down a bit, let off a resigned sigh. "...Honestly, I'm worried about Eri."
"Oi, doi," Tale said as he smacked himself in the forehead, "That's who I was forgetting." The Realmcrafter then wove a few of his ninja hand signs, and a poofing cloud of smoke appeared, with Eri appearing from the smoke when it faded. Tale also took the time to conjure a light and put it into Eri's head to catch her up on everything that had happened before now. Tale then levitated Eri over to Aizawa and dropped her gently into his lap.
"There we go," Tale said, "Now Eri will be joining us."
Looking around at the audience, Eri looked wholly confused, as if she wasn't frightened at all. She even perked up upon spotting Izuku, Shinso and Mirio who she all waved to, with the boys all waving back to her. "Now then," Kotaro said, "I believe that realm number fifteen is up next."
As everyone in the audience turned to regard the big screen, Eri remarked, "I hope no one gets hurt really bad."
"That is a hope that I share too, Eri," Aizawa remarked as the other UA staff all nodded in agreement with the underground hero as realm number fifteen began to play.
...
(If Aizawa expelled Momo Yaoyorozu)
"Sweet, that's the fifth girl in a row!" Mirko in the audience said, "I think that we're going to be clearing all the girls in Aizawa's class before finishing off the rest of the boys."
Folding her arms over her chest, Kyoka said in a mildly bemused tone, "Then I'll be next after Yaoyorozu if that's true, as I'm the only girl to not have been shown being expelled by Aizawa-sensei yet."
Yaoyorozu, with a look of worry on her face, said, "What could I have done to warrant Aizawa-sensei wanting to expel me?"
"The reason's probably cow poop," Eri remarked.
"Eri, the term is bullshit, not cow po-" Hizashi began, only to be cut off by a smack to the back of his head from a stern looking Hound Dog, who shook his head disappointingly at Hizashi. Aizawa had a similarly upset look on his face as he and some other UA staff members were all looking at him.
Aizawa, while leading Eri along by holding her right hand, was followed by Sekijiro and Hound Dog on their way to a large training warehouse located on UA grounds. "So this will be the first training event between class 1-A and class 1-B since that Shinso boy was added to 1-A in the wake of Aizawa expelling the Yaoyorozu girl, huh?" Hound Dog remarked.
"Hey, Shinso is back to being added to 1-A after Aizawa-sensei expelled one of us," Mina in the audience remarked while pointing to the big screen, "We haven't seen that in a while."
Nodding in the affirmative, Sekijiro said, "Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing how the young man performs as well."
"By the way, Aizawa," Hound Dog began, "Why did you expel the Yaoyorozu girl again?"
"Because she had a nasty habit of not only not watching what she said around her fellow classmates but also how she said it," the underground hero began to explain, "I've lost track of how many times Yaoyorozu had unknowingly rubbed either her smarts or her wealth in the faces of the rest of the students in class. Hell, I started suspecting that she was actually doing it on purpose and only pretending like she was doing in unintentionally, just because she felt like wanting to remind her classmates that she thinks she's better than them."
"I do NOT think that I'm better than any of my classmates!" Yaoyorozu exclaimed, looking a bit upset that anyone anywhere would accuse her of trying to put her classmates down.
Pointing to the big screen, Dark Shadow said, "And a lot of Aizawa's reasoning here mirrors what that alternative realm version of me said about her in the realm where Fumi was expelled." The sentient quirk took pause when he realized that there were a number of eyes on him. Looking around, Dark Shadow said, "...What?"
"Were you here this whole time, Dark Shadow?!" Tokoyami exclaimed, "Even though that Realmcrafter fellow mostly disabled quirks in here?!"
Shrugging, Tale called out, "Emphasis on mostly. Although I do wonder why Dark Shadow took this long to decide to come out."
"I was sleepy," Dark Shadow explained, "So I was resting inside of Fumi, watching what all had happened this far both in this show and the one where there's alternate versions of the girls." With a smirk, Dark Shadow said, "I have a list of favorite realms from both shows, if anyone cares to hear."
Folding his arms over his chest, Sekijiro said, "Really? You thought that she was passively trying to bully her classmates by pretending to unknowingly rub her superior intelligence and financial status in their faces?"
Nodding once, Aizawa said, "Even if Yaoyorozu was truly doing all of that unintentionally, there's still the point on how she often came across as rather condescending." Aizawa would have gone on, but he and the rest of the group arrived at their destination. Going inside, the three men and Eri saw all of 1-A and 1-B in their hero costumes; Eri spotted and waved to both Izuku and Shinso, who both waved back.
To the students, Aizawa said, "Alright kids, today we're going to be breaking in this new training room meant to simulate big indoor fights. The combined forty of you will all be going up against a zero-pointer robot."
"You've got to be kidding us, sensei!" Juzo said, "I heard that those robots were made specifically to be avoided!"
"Normally yes, but it will be just the one against the forty of you," Sekijiro went on, "Basically this is to also help you prep if a large number of you one day end up forming a vast group to take on a lone target that's incredibly big."
"They're training to take on Gigantomachia?!" Shigaraki in the audience exclaimed, "Hey! That's cheating! He's supposed to be our ace in the hole!"
"Who's Gigantomachia?" Itsuka asked in a curious tone. Shigaraki quickly shut up because he had just realized that he let his mouth slip again.
Pulling out a remote, Aizawa said, "Well kids, have at it." The underground hero pressed the button on the remote, causing the large mechanically operated sliding gate to slow part. After a few seconds something came out through the path, but it wasn't...quite...a zero-pointer robot like what the hero course students were expectimg."
"Rawr, rawr!" Hizashi said as he came running out, wearing a bunch of cardboard boxes in what was clearly a very lackluster robot costume, "I'm a zero-pointer robot, rawr!" The costume was just one box on Hizashi's head (with a hole for his hair to poke out of), one over his torso, and slender ones over both his forearms and shins. It wasn't even colored or otherwise decorated in any way aside from 'zero-pointer robot' having been sprawled across the box that was over Hizashi's torso.
Aside from Eri who was giggling cutely because she thought that Hizashi was being really funny, everyone looked at Hizashi with utterly dumbfounded looks. "...Hizashi, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Aizawa asked.
"Yeah, I wanna know too," Hizashi in the audience remarked, his arms folded over his chest while a lot of the audience was pointing and laughing at the screen.
Sighing in a troubled tone, Aizawa said, "Chances are that it's related to how I had given the axe to Yaoyorozu in this realm."
"Mic, where the hell's the zero-pointer robot?" Sekijiro asked.
Hizashi, rubbing the back of his head in an embarrassed gesture, explained sheepishly, "Umm, yeah. UA can no longer afford to use any of the villain robots." Gesturing around to the new training facility they were all in, Hizashi said, "The last that we had in our budget went into getting this place."
"Wait, are you saying that UA is out of money?" Hound Dog asked, looking rather surprised and confused about things.
"How can we be out of money, Hizashi?!" Aizawa practically exclaimed
Hizashi offered a sorry chuckle as he said, "Nezu can explain. Come on." Aizawa, Sekijiro and Hound Dog all proceeded to follow Hizashi, with Aizawa tasking Izuku and Shinso with keeping an eye on Eri for him. Whatever was about to happen, Aizawa had a gut feeling that he was not going to like it at all.
"Did Ponytail somehow get all of UA's budget pulled thanks to her rich person connections?" Bakugo in the audience asked, looking rather confused and surprised.
"Hoo boy, that would be trouble," Mina commented casually.
...
Aizawa, Hizashi who was still wearing his zero-pointer robot costume, Sekijiro and Hound Dog were all standing in front of Nezu who was sitting at his desk. "Firstly, you can take the costume now Hizashi," Nezu began. As Hizashi proceeded to take off what all boxes he had on, Nezu continued, "Secondly, it's true that UA pretty much had its budget canceled."
"Our budget has been cancelled?!" Sekijiro exclaimed, "How?!"
Sighing, Nezu said, "Because miss Yaoyorozu's father didn't take kindly to Aizawa expelling miss Yaoyorozu, I'm afraid. You see, believe it or not but forty percent of UA's annual budget actually came from the Yaoyorozu family alone."
The eyes of the men widened in surprise. "Damn, I knew that Yaoyorozu's folks were rich," Hizashi said, "But damn!"
With a concerned look on his face, Aizawa asked, "What about the remaining sixty percent?"
"From various government officials and other private parties," Nezu said, "ALL of whom are close personal friends with miss Yaoyorozu's father."
"...So UA lost all of its money because Yaoyorozu's dad saw to having the school having its budget cancelled because he didn't like how Aizawa-sensei had expelled Yaoyorozu," Izuku in the audience remarked, "Interesting."
"I'd be legit scared if that could happen for real," Hizashi commented while pointing at the big screen.
As the men all expressed disbelief, Nezu gave a grim nod. "Yes, this does not bode well for UA. We may very well be seeing this fine school's final chapter here if we aren't careful."
Turning to face Aizawa, Hound Dog said in a dry tone, "Smooth move, exlax. This wouldn't be happening if you hadn't kicked out the rich girl and pissed her dad off."
"Well how the hell was I supposed to know that UA's budget was basically wholly controlled by Yaoyorozu's father?!" Aizawa exclaimed.
His arms folded over his chest, Hizashi said, "Yeah, I'm not looking forward to what will be happening from here on out."
In the audience, Hizashi clapped his hands together as he exclaimed, "Boom, called it!"
"Even though it's not the case for real that miss Yaoyorozu's father has that much control over UA more or less," Nezu commented, "It doesn't change the fact that a man as wealthy and powerful as him would surely cause a lot of trouble for UA if his daughter was unjustly punished by the staff for whatever reason." To Aizawa, the quirked animal principal said, "That being said, you ought to be VERY careful when you feel you need to discipline her."
Nodding once, Aizawa said, "Duly noted." As for Yaoyorozu, she shrunk into her theater seat as she cried out in embarrassment.
...
The following day during lunch, Aizawa and Hizashi went to go check on how things were going. As they walked through the cafeteria, they ran into Shinso, who was carrying his lunch tray. To the surprise of the two men, Shinso's lunch was just a small box of grape juice to drink and four pizza rolls to eat.
Gesturing to the meager meal, Aizawa said with some mild concern in his tone, "Hitoshi, you didn't get more? Are you not that hungry?"
"This was all that Lunch-Rush was able to give me," Shinso proceeded to explain, "Apparently the food and ingredients that he had to work with were possible because of UA's now cancelled budget. With that money gone, every UA student not lucky enough to have some alternative option has to take lunches like this."
Gesturing to Shinso's lunch, Hizashi exclaimed, "Goddamn! So everyone in UA is now going to be eating like Sho's student Uraraka!"
"Hey!" Uraraka in the audience exclaimed, indignant at the comment on-screen Hizashi had just made about her.
Looking around, Aizawa and Hizashi saw that pretty much every student in the cafeteria had a lunch of a similar level of meager-ness as what Shinso had. Hizashi even spotted that Ojiro had a 'lunch' that was a sticky note with 'food' written on it and a glass that held another sticky note that had 'drink' written on it. Truly things were looking rather dire for UA indeed, if times were going to become that hard.
Gesturing to the big screen, Aizawa in the audience said, "So things become so bad that some of the students have to go without proper food for lunch?! What the hell?!"
"Even I'm not that poor," Uraraka commented, "But I do know full well what it's like to go without sufficient food for long stretches of time."
Hizashi, his arms folded over his chest, said, "And I doubt it'll end here."
...
A week later, Aizawa and the rest of the UA staff sat in Nezu's office as they had a meeting to discuss what to do to generate the funds they needed just to keep UA open. As the meeting started, the doors leading into Nezu's office opened, with a few men who work in the Hero Public Safety Commission coming in. "We are here on official businesses," the first man said as he and his fellow parted, allowing Lady President of the Commission to walk in.
All of the UA staff tensed up as the president stepped up and stood in front of all of them. "I assume one of you is Shouta Aizawa, otherwise known as Eraserhead?" Lady President asked, arching an eyebrow.
Raising a hand, Aizawa replied, "Yeah, that would be me."
The president turned to address the underground hero. "Eraserhead, by my authority as the president of the Hero Public Safety Commission, I am hereby revoking your pro hero licence," the president declared, "You are no longer permitted to engage in any hero work, and any that you do anyway from here on out shall be considered vigilantism and therefore grounds to have you arrested." Holding her hand out, the president said, "Your hero license, please."
"You're revoking my hero license?!" Aizawa exclaimed, "Why?! What did I do?!"
"Some close friends of the Commission from the Yaoyorozu Conglomerate have brought to my attention that there was evidence of you being incompetent as a pro hero," lady president said, "So an investigation was launched and the evidence was found and confirmed to be legit." The president shook her hand that she was holding out to show she still wanted Aizawa to hand his pro hero license over. "Your pro hero license, Eraserhead. Hand it over."
"So Ponytail's daddy basically got Aizawa-sensei booted from the pro hero system," Bakugo in the audience said in a dry tone, "Wow. I guess that there's no standing up to the rich, huh?"
"Okay, I would never forgive my dad if he actually went that far," Yaoyorozu stated while gesturing to the big screen, clearly sounding upset with how the current realm was playing out.
"Yeah, and I wouldn't even expel you for the reason that was presented here," Aizawa commented, "Although if things did get bad enough, then I would take you off to the side, spell things out so that there are no uncertain terms, and straight up get you to be careful with what you say, when you say it, and how you say it."
Begrudgingly, Aizawa fished his pro hero license and handed it over. After she had confiscated Aizawa's pro hero licence, Lady President turned to face the rest of the UA staff and said, "That will be all. Good day." Lady President then turned around and left, being followed by her men that she had with her.
After the folks from the Commission had left, the room was silent but the atmosphere heavy. "Well, Aizawa," Nezu said in a troubled and resigned tone, "I guess this means that there's no other option than to dismiss you from your post here at UA."
"So not only am I now barred from the pro hero system, but I'm being fired from UA as well?!" Aizawa exclaimed, "What the literal hell?! What am I supposed to do for a living now?!"
Shrugging, Hizashi half said half offered, "How about you try being a male escort?"
Turning to face Hizashi, Aizawa said in a firm tone, "I am NOT going to be a male escort."
...
Later that late afternoon, Aizawa was leaning against the wall of a brick building on the corner of the street somewhere in the city. He was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt that had the top two buttons undone, black pants, and shiny black shoes. He was also holding a cigarette that was lit, even though Aizawa wasn't actually smoking it. Sighing in a resigned tone, the former underground hero said, "...I can't believe I'm going to be a male escort."
"So my hero licence is revoked," Aizawa in the audience began while gesturing to the big screen, "I'm fired from my post at UA, and I end up becoming a male escort." Shrugging his shoulders, the underground hero said dryly, "I think this might be one of the worst consequences that I've faced yet in this showing."
Shrugging, Sekijiro said, "Personally, I would have guessed that Nemuri would be the one to suggest something like that, not Hizashi."
Giggling a bit, Emi commented, "I wouldn't mind hiring Aizawa while he's on the job for that." Aizawa merely rolled his eyes at the smile hero's comment.
As Aizawa grumbled in an annoyed tone, Hizashi spoke up next to him, "Give it a chance, Sho. This was how I got my start before my pro hero and radio careers kicked off." Aizawa turned to look at Hizashi, who was dressed the same as Aizawa but also wore his leather jacket.
As the two men waited for their first client, Emi pulled up in a brand new red sports car that had the hood down. Emi also wore big sunglasses and an exquisite white fur coat. Lowering her shades, Emi let out a whistle. "Mmm, I see some fine catches on the market right now!" Emi remarked as she was eyeing Aizawa up.
"Emi?!" Aizawa exclaimed, "Wait, why do you look so loaded now?!"
With an amused smile, Emi explained, "That's because I am. Yeah, the rest of the staff over at Ketsubutsu got nice fat bonuses and raises since we enrolled the daughter of that Yaoyorozu fellow, and now I'm living the life!"
"So Yaoyorozu gets enrolled at Ketsubutsu, and as a result Emi and the others benefit by clearly playing to Yaoyorozu's father's favor," Aizawa in the audience said. Folding his arms over his chest, Aizawa said while gently shaking his head, "And now it looks like I'm going to end up being hired by Emi as my first client in my male escort career."
"Yes!" Emi exclaimed while pumping her fists into the air, "Yes! I get Shouta!"
Sighing in a resigned tone, Aizawa said, "I...don't suppose you'd be interested in my services right now, would you?"
"It's Sho's first day on the job, and you're his first client," Hizashi pointed out to Emi in a hinting tone, "So do try to be gentle." Emi nodded in understanding before having Aizawa get in her car. She then sped off, with Hizashi looking on. Sniffling a bit as he sounded like he was going to cry out of happiness, Hizashi said, "They grow up so fast."
FIN
As the screen went blank, Kotaro looked up at it and said, "Wow. That sure was interesting."
Shrugging from where he sat in the audience, Sekijiro said, "I half expected Hizashi to be dressed like Nemuri near the end, given his track record over the realms we've seen thus far."
"Oh you can just go jump off a cliff, Sekijiro," Nemuri remarked in a bemused tone.
"And for the record, I can't pull her outfit off," Hizashi commented.
Gently shaking her head, Yaoyorozu said, "Aizawa-sensei, I am SO sorry about what happened in that realm."
"At least I know better than to expel you right away rather than just set you off to the side and have a talk with you," Aizawa replied amidst Emi's cheering.
END OF CHAPTER
Author's notes;
I had a few more things I wanted to pack into this chapter, but I cut them due to a mix of this chapter going on for too long and the fact I felt they may have been too much. Anyway, I need to brainstorm for chapters for the remaining five students in 1-A that haven't gone yet.
