If Aizawa expelled…
Chapter eighteen: Rocking Rebellion
The audience that had been summoned to the theater room by the Realmcrafter Talespinner69 had just finished watching realm number seventeen in the current show, which has a set of twenty realms that each feature Aizawa expelling a different one of his students from class 1-A. The last realm that had played was not exactly one that Aizawa agreed with, but then again he hasn't agreed with pretty much any of the seventeen realms so far.
The last realm had Mirio soiling Aizawa's shirt. Don't ask.
"Only three more to go," Hizashi said, "Three more realms then we can bail."
"I believe that Tale said something about putting you all in limbo until he was ready to summon us all back to continue the showing that has different realms that each feature alternative versions of the first year hero course girls?" Kotaro remarked, drawing a nod in the affirmative from the Realmcrafter.
Crossing his arms over his chest, Aizawa said, "Well regardless, we only have to see three more realms where I fuck up due to expelling a student from my homeroom."
Giving the underground hero a dry look, Tale said, "Well maybe if you were a hell of a lot more of a chill person who wasn't so punishment-happy, then maybe those of my kind would have a far better opinion as a whole of you. Seriously, you need to ease the hell up sometimes."
"I agree," Nezu spoke up, cutting off Aizawa who looked like he was about to say something. "Granted, I wouldn't describe it with such...potent...language like what you have done, but I do also feel that Aizawa should relax a little bit more."
As Aizawa grumbled to himself in annoyance, some of the other audience members were discussing amongst themselves which student in 1-A would be seen getting the axe next, given that at this point three of Aizawa's students hadn't gone yet. "I'm betting on that tall one who always wears that mask that covers the lower half of his face," Mitsuki said, "He seems like a good target for Aizawa to suspect of something."
"The little pervert who bothers the girls in Aizawa's class seems to be a likely target," Fat Gum remarked, "Hell, he's done enough for expulsion to be heavily considered in real life!"
"Come on Aizawa's last girl," Mirko said, "Let's see Aizawa's last girl get booted!"
As the audience were all discussing who they felt would get expelled next, Tale called out, "Hey, Kotaro and I got the next realm ready to play! Everyone turn front and center!" At the word of the Realmcrafter, everyone in the audience turned to face the big theater screen, wondering which of the remaining three students in Aizawa's class will be shown getting the axe next.
...
(If Aizawa expelled Kyoka Jiro)
"YES!" Mirko in the audience cheered as she pumped both of her fists into the air, "Fucking yes! We got Aizawa's last girl!"
Crossing her arms over her chest, Kyoka said in a dry tone, "Once again, thanks for expressing an interest in seeing me getting expelled from UA." Arching a wry eyebrow, Kyoka said, "But with that being said, what could I have done to warrant Aizawa-sensei wanting to expel me?"
Gently shaking his head, Aizawa remarked, "Most likely something that wouldn't be an entirely reasonable excuse."
The day started out well enough over at UA high school. In the teachers lounge, Aizawa was having a morning mug of coffee, with Hizashi and Sekijiro sitting with him at the table. "Hey hold on a minute there, Aizawa," Sekijiro began, a hint of surprise in his tone, "You mean to tell me and Hizashi that you expelled the Jiro girl?"
The underground hero gave a single nod in the affirmative. "What the hell did she do exactly, Sho?" Hizashi asked, "I mean, Kyoka seemed to me to be one of the last of your students that you would ever expel."
Sighing, Aizawa explained, "I had discovered that Kyoka, pretty much since the start of her time here at UA, had been engaging in some rather unsavory activities."
"Un...savory?" Sekijiro repeated in a confused tone while both he and Hizashi looked at Aizawa with confused looks.
Giving both of his co-workers a dry look, Aizawa said, "I found out she had been obsessively stalking one of the boys in my class."
"I'm a stalker in this realm?!" Kyoka in the audience exclaimed.
Folding his arms over his chest, Aizawa said, "Stalking of another student is grounds for some disciplinary action, but I highly doubt that the you in this realm had done enough, or had done something bad enough during said stalking, to warrant expulsion. And given the track record of these realms, something bad is going to occur that either wouldn't have been as bad or wouldn't have even occurred at all if you were present at UA."
Sekijiro and Hizashi exchanged looks before turning back to look at Aizawa. "Uhh, Sho, a girl stalking a boy in her own age group due to being obsessed with said boy isn't exactly a bad thing here in Japan," Hizashi explained.
Nodding in agreement, Sekijiro said, "It's a perfectly normal thing for Japanese girls in that Jiro girl's age group to do. Hell, some foreign countries actually view the act as the girl showing the boy a sign of affection."
"...So Kyoka taking a big wiff from Kaminari's blazer jacket that she secretly stole was her way of showing affection to Kaminari," Aizawa said dryly.
"I DID WHAT?!" Kyoka in the audience exclaimed.
"She stole my blazer jacket?" Kaminari said, looking more confused than anything else.
"Ah, so Kaminari is the boy that Jiro was obsessed with," Hizashi said, "But how did you come across the part about her taking a big wiff of Kaminari's jacket?"
Arching a wry eyebrow, Aizawa explained, "I picked it up from Yaoyorozu, who told me about how she saw it when she had accidentally walked in on Jiro. However, rather than tell me about it right away, Yaoyorozu opted instead to actually help Jiro torment the poor boy by looking to get Jiro and Kaminari alone together. Yaoyorozu had been acting as such for the past two weeks before she told me about what she had been doing yesterday morning!"
"Is that why you put Yaoyorozu on probation?" Hizashi asked, drawing an affirmative nod out of the underground hero.
"So I was helping Kyoka in this realm," Yaoyorozu in the audience began, "Who is in love with Kaminari clearly, try to get together with him?"
"Aww, that is so sweet," Itsuka remarked, holding a hand over her chest.
Shooting the girls a wry look, Aizawa said, "You...are keeping in mind that the Jiro of this realm had been stalking Kaminari, right?"
"Pfft, at least it's not Mineta stalking any of the girls," Shoji said with a shrug of his shoulders.
Scowling, Mineta grumbled, "...I hope you get expelled next, Shoji."
Aizawa opened his mouth as if to speak, but he was cut off when Nemuri came barreling into the teacher's lounge, a look of panic on her face. Aizawa and the other men all turned to look at their panicked co-worker. "Nemuri, what happened?" Aizawa asked.
"Ketsubutsu has just challenged UA to a battle of the bands!" Nemuri exclaimed, "We'll look like totally lame dweebs if Ketsubutsu creams us!"
"Why is Nemuri-sensei talking like Endeavor trying and failing to mimic Kaminari's vernacular?" Sero in the audience asked as he gestured to the big theater screen, making a number of the audience members laugh out loud.
In particular, both Todoroki and Dabi were amused by what Sero had said. "Hot damn, that tape boy in your class is funny as balls, little bro!" Dabi exclaimed.
"Yeah, that was a funny comment that Sero cracked about dad," Todoroki conceded.
Endeavor, with a defeated look on his face, sighed in a likewise manner, "...Why must my boys hurt me in this way?"
Pointing to Aizawa, Nemuri said, "Shouta! We need your girl Kyoka! She is the best at music out of everyone in the hero course between you and Sekijiro! She will be UA's ace in the hole to save us from flubbing in front of Ketsubutsu!"
"Nemuri, I expelled Jiro yesterday," Aizawa explained.
Nemuri, with a wide-eyed look of worry on her face, said, "...WHY?!"
"I discovered that she had been stalking Kaminari for the longest time," Aizawa replied, "Also I learned Yaoyorozu had been helping Jiro, so I got Yaoyorozu on probation."
Nemuri scoffed and stammered a bit as she tried to find her words, before finally saying, "It's a perfectly normal thing here in Japan for girls in Kyoka's age group to stalk boys of the same age! It's a sign that the girl is in love with a boy!"
"Well that Toga girl is stalking Midoriya," Aizawa shot back.
"Toga is a villain!" Nemuri pointed out, "She doesn't count!"
"Hey, girl," Stain in the audience said to Toga, getting the psychotic school girl to turn to face him, "Are you really stalking All Might's progeny?"
Blushing a bit, Toga said, "Well no not technically, but why not? I mean, Izu-kun really is cute." Where he sat in the audience, Izuku shrunk into his seat.
Sighing in a resigned tone, Hizashi said, "Look, either way we need to get ready for the battle of the bands event that Ketsubutsu challenged us to."
"Or we can just tell them no," Aizawa offered dryly, "That we don't accept their challenge, and then tell them to bugger off. I mean, there's no real reason for us to-"
"Nezu already accepted the challenge," Nemuri said, "Partly because that Emi woman had taunted him by calling him a chicken while wiggling her elbows up and down while walking around his office and making chicken sounds."
"Nezu caved in towards Emi of all people?!" Aizawa practically exclaimed, "What the hell?!"
Aizawa in the audience, with his arms folded over his chest, said, "Yeah, I agree. How could any form of Nezu let any form of Emi taunt him like that?"
"Especially since I would never cave in to taunting like that for real," Nezu added.
Arching a piqued eyebrow, Emi said to Nezu, "Is that a-"
"No it's not a challenge," Aizawa warned, cutting Emi off.
Gently shaking her head, Nemuri said, "It doesn't matter. What matters now is that we need to get ready to rock with our cocks out!"
"Not literally, I hope," Aizawa said as Nemuri proceeded to drag him, as well as both Sekijiro and Hizashi, off with her to get some 1-A and 1-B students to form a band that could keep up with whatever band Ketsubutsu could come up with and throw at UA. The underground hero would have been objecting to this, but Nemuri sushed him up.
...
Over in the auditorium, Aizawa, Nemuri, Hizashi and Sekijiro stood on stage with the students of the first year hero course. Strangely enough, Mei Hatsume was among class 1-A as she had been added to the class following Kyoka's expulsion.
"Woohoo! I'm in again!" Hatsume in the audience cheered, pumping both of her fists into the air.
"Kids, we got a huge problem," Nemuri said, "Those fool-ass honkies from Ketsubutsu are gonna try to get all up in our grill, yo."
Holding up a hand, Tenya asked, "Why are you talking like that, Nemuri-sensei?"
"She probably hit her head sometime earlier," Aizawa answered, "But anyway, Ketsubutsu has challenged UA to a battle of the bands kind of competition, and we're doing it because Nezu apparently caves in to taunts from an immature woman-child."
Pointing to Nemuri, Nirengeki said, "But Nemuri-sensei is right there, Aizawa-sensei."
"Oh ho ho! Sick burn!" Hizashi in the audience remarked with a laugh as he pointed to the big theater screen.
Snickering a bit, Aizawa said, "Yeah, I have to admit that Sekijiro's boy there did make a pretty good comment."
Looking at Nirengeki, Nemuri said, "Well gee, glad to know what you think of me, Nirengeki!"
"In his defense, you did pull a number of rather out there stunts over the course of the realms we've seen thus far," Sekijiro pointed out.
After everyone who laughed at Nirengeki's burning of Nemuri calmed down, Hizashi said, "Now kids, this is going to be pretty tough for us, what with us going into this battle of the bands against Ketsubutsu without Kyoka."
Holding up a hand, Bakugo asked, "Is this because Aizawa-sensei expelled Ear Plugs due to how she was stalking Kaminari?"
"Kyoka was stalking me?" Kaminari asked, sounding like he was just now learning of this.
Sighing in a troubled tone, Yaoyorozu said, "Yes Kaminari, because she was in love with you. I even tried to help Kyoka get together with you, which is why Aizawa-sensei had put me on the probationary period I'm on for the rest of the week."
"A girl was in love with me?!" Kaminari practically exclaimed.
Turning to look at Kaminari in the audience, Aizawa asked, "Kaminari, how would you react for real if for some odd reason Jiro was stalking you because she was obsessively in love with you?"
"Honestly...I'd be flattered to learn a girl was in love with me," Kaminari replied, "Granted, the stalking bit might be a bit much, but I bet we can smooth that rough patch over."
"Heh, better Kyoka stalking Kaminari than Mineta stalking one of the girls," Shoji snarked in a clearly self-amused tone.
"One of these days, little boy!" Mineta exclaimed threateningly at Shoji.
The tall boy arched a wry eyebrow at the vertically challenged teen. "...I'm taller than you."
"You're younger than me!" Mineta shot back.
"Look, we can discuss all of that stuff later," Sekijiro said, "For now, we ought to get some of you all to form a band to compete against whatever band Ketsubutsu will be throwing our way."
"Because Nezu allowed Emi to taunt him," Aizawa remarked dryly as he rolled his eyes. With all other business out of the way, the UA staff that was present proceeded to form a band out of a few of the first year hero course students. They ended up nabbing Bakugo, Kaminari and Mina from Aizawa's class, and Tetsutetsu and Jurota from Sekijiro's class. With the band formed, the UA staff proceeded to have them practice.
"That's an interesting selection of us for the band," Itsuka in the audience remarked.
Scoffing, Monoma said as he gestured to the big theater screen, "What manner of farce is this supposed to be?! Why is the band more 1-A than 1-B?"
"Why must you insist on our class always taking a backseat and letting yours have everything?" Kirishima shot back.
"Because we're-" Monoma began, only to be cut off by a whack to the back of his head from Itsuka, who glared at him to be quiet.
...
Eventually, the night of the battle of the bands event came. The UA staff were waiting for their foes from Ketsubutsu to arrive, with a mix of feelings; Nemuri and to a lesser extent Hizashi were scared out of their wits that UA might look totally bogus tonight, Sekijiro anticipating how UA will end up making Ketsubutsu look like a fool for challenging the top hero academy in Japan, and Aizawa thinking all of this is a total waste of time.
Looking at the wrist watch on his right wrist, Hizashi said, "The guys from Ketsubutsu are all almost here." Pulling his sleeve back over, Hizashi remarked with a hint of grim worry in his tone, "The time is almost upon us."
"Why are we even doing this?" Aizawa asked rhetorically, "Why did Nezu cave in to taunting from Emi of all people?"
"Because I will not stand for being referred to as chicken," Nezu spoke up as he came walking over to the staff members who were present. All of them came to attention as their boss came over to them. "That being said," Nezu began, "We must win this battle of the bands. If we lose to Ketsubutsu then we'll look like total geeks who can't rock."
"Did you hit your head too, Nezu?!" Aizawa exclaimed.
Nezu in the audience, as he crossed his arms over his chest, said, "I must have, because I would never talk like Endeavor trying and failing to copy Kaminari's vernacular."
"You too, Nezu?!" Endeavor exclaimed, sounding wounded.
Gently shaking his head, Nezu said, "It doesn't matter. What does matter is how we have to win this battle of the bands."
"Because you allowed Emi to taunt you into accepting her childish challenge," Aizawa replied, "Seriously, Nezu. You could have very easily told her no then had UA security forcefully remove her from campus the moment she started trying to taunt you."
"Then she would talk smack about me and by extension UA behind our backs," Nezu pointed out.
"At which point you could have sued her for slander," Aizawa countered back.
"Then we would look like bullies who couldn't take a joke," Nezu said.
"It's not joking since Emi was taunting you," Aizawa remarked dryly.
Nodding in agreement, Aizawa in the audience said, "Yeah, this all is happening mostly because Nezu allowed Emi to get under his skin."
"Yeah, and if this all really did happen for real, then Nezu could have very easily proven his case in court and sue me into oblivion," Emi remarked, "Probably cost me my pro hero career too, and leave me with pretty much no way to support myself."
"Hoo boy, I hope THAT doesn't come up in this realm," Hizashi commented in a mildly worried tone.
Gently shaking his head, Nezu said, "Look, what's done is done. We're just going to have to hope for the best that we'll be able to pull off a win here." Looking up at both Aizawa and Sekijiro, the quirked animal principal of UA continued, "Gentlemen, I hope that your students who you had put together into a band can beat Ketsubutsu's band. UA by no means can afford to lose here."
The other UA staff members, some more reluctantly than others, nodded in agreement with Nezu before Sekijiro sent the UA band out on stage as UA, being the hosting school, was going to go first. Everything rode on UA's band winning, so they were all hoping they could show up the Ketsubutsu band.
...
UA ended up losing the battle of the bands event to Ketsubutsu, and as such ended up gaining the stigma of a totally lame school attended by dorky geeks who weren't able to rock.
"OH COME ON!" Aizawa in the audience exclaimed at the top of his lungs.
"Yes!" Emi cheered, "Yes! My school won!"
"How could this have happened?" Nezu said in a defeated tone as he was on his paws and knees and looking right at the ground as Emi danced around while bragging about how she had proven that UA was totally lame compared to Ketsubutsu.
"Because you gave in to Emi's immature taunting?" Aizawa offered dryly.
Turning to regard Aizawa, Nemuri said, "Actually, I would have to say that the reason we now have a reputation of being totally lame dweebs who can't rock is because you had expelled the Jiro girl before this all happened."
"She was stalking Kaminari!" Aizawa shot back.
Shrugging, Nemuri said, "That's how girls here in Japan express affection for a boy they're crushing on."
As the underground hero sighed in a resigned tone, Emi continued to dance and cheer around as UA had to now suffer the stigma of being totally lame and unable to rock, all because Kyoka wasn't around to help pull the UA band together. Nezu pinned the blame for UA's uncool status solely on Aizawa who, under disdainful looks from most of the rest of the staff, agreed to the reinstatement of Kyoka, asking only that she left Kaminari alone.
She eventually succeeded in scoring Kaminari as her boyfriend regardless.
FIN
"...You don't really stalk Kaminari for real," Aizawa in the audience said to Kyoka as he turned to face her, "Do you, Jiro?"
"No!" Kyoka exclaimed, clearly embarrassed.
Shrugging, Kotaro said, "Yeah, that was...actually not the weirdest realm in this show that we've seen up to this point."
"You're telling me," Tale remarked dryly.
END OF CHAPTER
Author's notes;
There was once a boy who for the longest time was stalked by a girl who had feelings for him. Eventually the two grew up and the boy, surprising all logic, married his stalker. The boy also wound up as the leader of his community. The boy's name? Naruto Uzumaki.
Getting serious now, this is what I had been able to come up with for Kyoka, depicting her as stalking a boy she liked, sort of like how Hinata was to Naruto and Mizore was to Tsukune. I'm also not all that keen on double standards, in case it wasn't obvious. Anyway, there's only two students left at this point to get the axe, and both are boys. Which one of them will be put to the chopping block next?
Guesses have a fifty-fifty shot at being correct right now.
