If Aizawa expelled…
Chapter twenty: The end or is it
The audience that had been summoned to the big theater room by the Realmcrafter Talespinner69 had just finished viewing the nineteenth realm that featured Aizawa expelling one of the students in his homeroom class at UA. At this point, there was only one realm left to view, one student of the underground hero's left to see get the boot. After that, the show would be over and everyone could be sent back home.
...Or kept in limbo until Tale could get the show with the alternative versions of the 1-A and 1-B girls back up and running.
"Finally!" Aizawa said as he pumped his fists into the air as he cheered, "Finally! We're down to only one realm left! Only one where I'm shown expelling one of my students!"
"And it's the realm where you're going to be shown having expelled Mineta," Hizashi remarked, "As he's the last one who hasn't been seen being put to the chopping block yet."
As Mineta sighed in a defeated tone, a number of the other audiences members were chuckling to themselves in eager anticipation, mostly the first year hero course girls of UA. "Hey, I just had a thought," Yaoyorozu said, "All realms shown had it that, regardless of who Aizawa-sensei ends up expelling, some manner of bad consequence happens. What do you think will be a negative consequence of Mineta being expelled?"
Shrugging, Jiro said, "Pfft, I don't know."
"Yaomomo," Mina began, "The only decent thing about Mineta that I can think of is that, in terms of overall grades, Mineta's in the top half of the class. And that's mostly limited to academics." Folding her arms over her chest, Mina continued, "Outside of that, I can't think of much."
"Hey, I have a lot of redeeming qualities!" Mineta declared in an indignant tone.
"Heh heh," Tsuyu laughed in a casual tone, "No you don't kero. And we're not going to count whatever bullshit thing that happens in this upcoming realm that happens because you're not going to be at UA."
"Oi, Tale and I got the realm where Aizawa expels Mineta ready to play," Kotaro called out from where he and Tale stood in front of the big theater screen.
Mineta sighed over how Kotaro had declared that the next realm was ready to go; but then again, he's the last of 1-A to go, so one would have to figure. Either way, all eyes turned to face the big theater screen as the last of twenty realms started playing.
...
(If Aizawa expelled Minoru Mineta)
"This is going to be good," Mirko in the audience said as she rubbed her hands together in eager anticipation of the last realm.
Ryukyu, arching a wry brow, remarked dryly, "...If it wasn't for what all Uraraka and Tsuyu have told me about the Mineta boy, I'd question why you'd be so eager to see him get expelled."
Aizawa was walking through one of the halls of UA as he made his way to the homeroom class for 1-A. He was also followed by Hizashi and Shinso. "...And that's why we've been able to move Shinso into the hero course ahead of schedule, Hizashi," Aizawa explained as he finished up explaining something to him.
"Yeah, but expelling the Mineta boy?" Hizashi said in a confused tone that had a mild hint of being a bit concerned, "I mean, what did he do?"
Holding up a very thick vanilla folder, Aizawa said, "After some of the girls had made enough complaints about Mineta's behavior towards them, I decided to do a bit of investigating into the matter. As it turns out, not only were the girls' claims about Mineta's lewd behavior to them all true, but his perversion has a record that goes back to before he entered UA. Seriously, if I had known about all of that, I'd have expelled him on day one and use his expulsion as the example I need to tell the others that UA is serious business. I wouldn't even have had to use the 'last place in quirk apprehension gets booted' threat to get them to keep in line."
"You still do that, Aizawa?" Nezu in the audience asked, "I thought that I told you to drop the practice."
Sighing, the underground hero replied, "I know. And it further reminds me how I'm still pissed at All Might for withholding certain information about Midoriya from me. If I had known what all was going on back then, I would have used a different system to judge Midoriya separate from the rest of the class, taking his special case into consideration."
"Separately judge me away from the others, Aizawa-sensei?" Izuku said in a confused tone.
Nodding in confirmation, Aizawa explained, "Yes. Given your case, having you go through the quirk apprehension test with everyone else on the first day simply wasn't fair on my part, and I apologize. If I had known about your case, had the details on it, then I actually would have excused you and simply make the remaining nineteen do the test, expelling whoever placed last out of that nineteen if last place failed to impress me."
Mineta gulped nervously at that, as he remembered that he placed nineteenth, and that was only because Izuku as it turns out has a special case.
Aizawa opened the class 1-A door and led Hizashi and Shinso in, but what all they saw when they walked in surprised them all greatly. The remaining nineteen students all had the room set up as a party room, with snacks and sodas, as well as a lot of delivered pizzas, set up as they all mingled.
"OI!" Aizawa called out, getting everyone to turn to face him, Hizashi and Shinso, "Are you all seriously celebrating the fact I had expelled Mineta?"
"You expelled Mineta?" Kaminari remarked in a confused tone that made it clear Aizawa bringing it up was the first he had heard of Mineta's expulsion. Gently shaking his head, the electric quirk user said, "Nah, Aizawa-sensei. This all is because Uraraka's folks had struck it big with their company, so she's treating all of us."
Nodding in the affirmative, Uraraka said, "It's true. Not only did my parents manage to get life back into their construction company, but it's one of the top in the country now, especially since so many big name pro heroes gave it their seal of approval!"
"Uraraka and her folks are rich now!" Mina cheered, "Not Yaoyorozu level mind you, but Uraraka is still looking pretty loaded. I'd say she's between Tenya and Todoroki level rich now."
"My parents' business was successfully revived and is now one of the biggest names in its field in Japan?" Uraraka in the audience said in a surprised tone.
"Uraraka's rich in this realm now?" Hagakure said.
"Mina uses me, Tenya and Todoroki as units of measurement to determine how rich a person is?" Yaoyorozu remarked in a confused tone.
"I'm reminded how dear old dad owes me eight years worth of allowance," Dabi commented casually.
Seeing Uraraka shove a cupcake into her mouth rather greedily, Hizashi said, "I guess that you must be pretty hungry."
"I've never been able to eat until I was full before since money was scarce for me and my parents up until now," Uraraka explained, "But that's all in the past now. Now I can afford to eat as much as I want, which I intend to do!" Aizawa, Hizashi and Shinso watched Uraraka shove another cupcake into her mouth, then chase it down with a bottle of cola.
"...Just be careful not to over-indulge," Aizawa advised, before he proceeded to explain to the class that yes, he did expel Mineta, and that Shinso would be taking his place in 1-A.
"...Uraraka's going to end up over-indulging anyway and gain weight, isn't she?" Yaoyorozu in the audience said dryly.
"Well hey, can you blame the girl for wanting to celebrate striking it rich?" Mina remarked.
...
Later, Aizawa and Hizashi were walking along in UA when they were about to approach the door leading into the teacher's lounge. Before they could go in, they saw Nemuri come leaping out of the lounge as if celebrating something. As she danced in the hallway, Aizawa and Hizashi saw Toshinori come walking out of the lounge, looking confused as he regarded his female co-worker.
Gesturing to Nemuri, Aizawa asked Toshinori, "The hell got her so ecstatic?"
"Oh, she's in a romantic relationship with Gang Orca now," Toshinori explained, "She's happy that she's no longer single." Giving Aizawa a knowing look, Toshinori added, "Like how you're dating Ms. Joke now."
"I'm dating Gang Orca now?" Nemuri in the audience said in a curious, confused, surprised tone.
Shrugging, Aizawa remarked, "Apparently. And I'm apparently dating Emi in this realm now."
"It keeps getting better and better!" Emi declared.
Nodding in the affirmative, the underground hero said, "Yeah, I'm dating Emi. And actually, she was the one who prodded me to investigate the case against Mineta as thoroughly as I did. I'd not have found anywhere near as much as I did if it hadn't been for Emi."
"Well she's a good woman for you, Aizawa," Toshinori said as he, Aizawa and Hizashi continued to watch Nemuri dance in celebration over no longer being single.
...
Later, a number of Aizawa's students were gathered near the front of the school watching something. Coming up to Izuku, Tsuyu and Todoroki was Uraraka. "What did I miss?" Uraraka asked as she looked around.
Pointing on ahead, Izuku explained, "The villain Shigaraki was killed in an accident, and the rest of the League of Villains are surrendering to the heroes!" Looking over, Uraraka saw villains such as Dabi, Spinner and Toga allow themselves to be loaded into a police van by pro heroes such as Mirko and Ryukyu.
"All of us surrender to the heroes?" Spinner in the audience said incredulously.
"I guess that we do," Dabi remarked.
"Hey, I just noticed that not one bad thing for Sho has occurred yet," Hizashi pointed out.
Aizawa, his eyes widening out of shocked realization, said, "Could it be..."
As the 1-A class all stood around, they were met up by class 1-B. "Hey Eijiro!" Kinoko called out, making Kirishima turn to see the mushroom girl run up to him, jump to throw her arms around his shoulders, then pulled herself up to kiss him on the lips.
Smiling, Kirishima replied, "What's up, Kino-chan?"
"We of class 1-B heard that your teacher is on TV right now, you indignant lot," Monoma began to explain, "Apparently, he's set to receive some manner of award."
"Kirishima and Shrooms are an item again!" Bakugo in the audience said as he pointed to the big theater screen.
"And I'm receiving an award of some kind?" Aizawa said in a confused tone.
Whacking Monoma in the back of the head, Itsuka said, "I told you to be nice!" Turning to face class 1-A, Itsuka said, "But Monona is right about Aizawa-sensei being set to receive some manner of award."
"Do you know what kind of award?" Shinso asked.
Gently shaking her head, Itsuka replied, "I have no clue. All I know is that it's going to be televised live on national TV from Japanese Parliament."
"So I'm getting an award..." Aizawa in the audience said, "...At the parliament of our nation."
"This is getting really good," Hizashi remarked in an amused tone.
...
Class 1-A followed class 1-B over to the latter's dorm building, where everyone gathered around the big TV in the common area as Itsuka turned the news on to the live report outside of the country's capital building. "I'm reporting live from parliament now," a female news reporter said, "As an address is about to be led by Prime Minister Miyamoto Usagi."
The report then cut to the inside of parliament, where the man leading the address, Prime Minister Miyamoto Usagi, clearly had a quirk that made him look like a humanoid rabbit. "It is, uhh, my great honor," PM Usagi began, "To present..." Gesturing off to the side for something, PM Usagi said, "Shouta Aizawa."
The government officials in attendance all stood up and applauded as Aizawa walked up to the podium and was given two separate awards by the Prime Minister of Japan. "Uhh, wow," Aizawa said, "I never thought for a moment that I'd ever get not only the Japanese Teacher of the Year award, but also the Japanese Pro Hero of the Year award as well."
"Seriously?!" Aizawa in the audience exclaimed, "I'm now receiving such awards in a live address at Japanese Parliament?!"
"Sweetness!" Hizashi cheered, "Things are nothing but up for Sho!"
To the audience, Aizawa said, "...But yeah. I cannot express how astounded I am to even be here today. Really, this is a big honor which, if I'm to be honest, I owe partly to Ms. Joke for pushing me in the right direction. Yo Emi, I know you're here so come on over!"
At that prompting, Emi got up from where she sat with Hizashi, Sekijiro and Toshinori and ran on down to meet Aizawa at the podium. "Emi..." Aizawa began as he sat his awards down, "I really am grateful to you, helping to keep my head on straight and whatnot."
"Oh you really don't have to-" Emi began, but she was cut off when Aizawa got down on one knee as he pulled a small black box out.
"You've got to be kidding me!" Aizawa in the audience exclaimed.
"Oh my God it's beautiful!" Emi cheered as she teared up.
Opening the box to revel the diamond engagement ring inside, Aizawa said, "That is why I am hoping you'd be willing to do so for the rest of my life. Emi Fukukado, will you marry me?"
"OH MY GOD!" Emi exclaimed while crying as she hopped up and down in place, "OH MY GOD YES SHOUTA!" Everyone attending the address at Japanese Parliament applauded as Aizawa placed the ring onto Emi's ring finger. Hizashi even started playing the Avengers theme from his smartphone when Aizawa and Emi shared their first kiss upon getting engaged.
Back to the live news reporter, she said, "Well there you have it, folks! The man who is both the teacher and pro hero of Japan of the year is getting married! You saw it live here first!"
Back in the common area for the 1-B dorm, everyone was jumping up and down out of excitement, cheering as they saw that Aizawa was getting married. The students were already planning how to celebrate Aizawa's engagement to Emi, with good cheer going around all over.
"So I did end up asking Emi to marry me," Aizawa in the audience said in an exasperated tone.
"And on live national TV at Japanese Parliament while you received awards," Hizashi remarked, "Uhh Sho, I think this might be the realm you were wanting, one where you had good reasons to give one of your students the axe with no strings attached."
"He does get hitched though," Emi pointed out in a very clearly amused tone.
...
(Many years later)
Aizawa, now very old and having a long beard, sat in a rocking chair as a number of young children sat on the floor in front of him. "Great-grampa Shouta, that was the coolest story ever," one little boy who looked like a male version of Eri without a horn said, "Way cooler than the story where you killed one-hundred attacking ninjas that attacked you at your eighty-fifth birthday party."
"Yeah, Hizashi thought that I'd like a surprise," the very old Aizawa said, "But that is in the past now. At least my one-hundred and fifth birthday party last week was tame, as I like it."
"I live for over a century?" Aizawa in the audience remarked, "And Hizashi sent ninjas to attack me at one of my birthday parties because he thought I'd like the surprise?"
"You did claim to kill all of the ninjas, Sho," Hizashi pointed out, "And when you were eighty-five, at that. Pretty badass if I do say so myself."
Sighing, the very old Aizawa said, "Kids, I wish that your great-grandma Emi was still with us, because she could have given you her view of the day I asked her to marry me."
"I'm sad that great-grammy Joke died," a boy who looked like a much younger Shinso but with blonde hair said.
"She was ninety-six when she suffered respiratory failure," Aizawa remarked, "So she did live one hell of a long life. I still do miss her, though." Changing the subject, Aizawa proceeded to tell all of his great-grandchildren the story of the time that he, Hizashi and Sekijiro were in Los Angeles a week after Aizawa's honeymoon, and the three guys had to bare knuckle box members of a local drug cartel.
FIN
"Aww, I don't get to live to tell stories to me and Shouta's great-grandchildren," Emi said in a sad tone.
"But you got up to ninety-six years old before you kicked it," Nemuri pointed out, "Most of us here can't ask for that much!"
"And absolutely nothing negative occurred for or to Aizawa-sensei as a result of him giving Grape Head the axe," Bakugo pointed out.
Gesturing to the bog screen, Mineta exclaimed, "Oh come on!"
Gesturing to the audience, Tale said, "Well, there you all have it. That was all twenty realms where Aizawa expels a different one of his students in each one. Now I can-"
Tale stopped short when the big theater screen began glowing rainbow colors. "...The hell?" Kotaro said as he and Tale both turned to look at the big theater screen. When they did, they saw a big message flash on screen;
ALL TWENTY REALMS WHERE AIZAWA EXPELS ONE OF HIS STUDENTS HAVE BEEN VIEWED: SECRET BONUS REALM HAS BEEN UNLOCKED
"...Huh," Tale remarked, "Wasn't expecting that to occur."
END OF CHAPTER
Author's notes;
I figured that Aizawa needed a break, and this was realm number twenty, so I decided to make things look nothing but gold for him here. However, if you all thought that the story would end here, I got a surprise for you; there is going to be one more chapter. However, who Aizawa will be axing in the realm in the next chapter will come as a surprise to a lot of you. Catch you later.
