If Aizawa expelled…

Chapter twenty-one: Secret Bonus Realm

The audience that had been summoned by the Realmcrafter Talespinner69 had just gotten done with watching the twentieth realm in the show where each realm depicted Aizawa expelling a different one of the students in his homeroom class at UA. Normally, that would have been the end of the show, and Tale would have either sent the audience home or kept them in limbo for a time until the show with the realms that have alternative versions of the first year hero course girls could start playing again.

...Normally.

After what should have been the last realm had finished playing, Tale and Kotaro saw to their surprise that the big theater screen had shown that a secret bonus realm had been unlocked as all twenty realms featuring Aizawa expelling a different one of the 1-A students had been viewed. The audience all saw it too. "What does it mean that a secret bonus realm had been unlocked?" Aizawa asked from where he sat, "I mean, we've already seen me expel all of my students once each. Who else could be axed?"

Folding his arms over his chest, Sekijiro said, "Maybe you're going to be shown expelling the whole of your class all at once."

"Maybe you'll be shown expelling Shinso or Hatsume, as they've been put into your class in these realms before," Nemuri offered.

Pointing to Nemuri, Aizawa said, "I'd only have the authority to expel them if they were in my class to begin with. As they both are right now, the most I can do if I have issues with Shinso or Hatsume is bring it up with their respective homeroom teachers."

Shrugging, Hound Dog said, "Maybe you're expelling some of the students in 1-B?"

Aizawa gently shook his head. "I don't have that authority. Sekijiro could expel some of the students in 1-B since he's the teacher for them, but I can't do any more to 1-B than what I could do with Shinso or Hatsume."

"Maybe, Sho," Hizashi began, his tone sounding like he was about to freak out, "You get so mad with expulsion power that you EXPEL NEZU!"

"I can't expel Nezu," Aizawa replied dryly, "Not only is he not even a student at UA, he's our boss, meaning he outranks me. If I did tell him that I was expelling him, at worse he'd fire me, and at best he'd laugh off what I said as a joke."

Nodding in agreement, Nezu said, "What Aizawa said is indeed true, Yamada. And for the record, I would simply laugh it off if Aizawa said he was expelling me."

Down in front of the big theater screen where he stood next to Kotaro, Tale called out, "Hey, we got the bonus realm ready to play. Hopefully this will be the only bonus realm." Everyone in the audience turned front and center to face the big theater screen, wondering just who Aizawa will be shown expelling here.

...

(If Aizawa expelled Hizashi Yamada)

"Wait a damn minute here," Hizashi in the audience said, "Sho is expelling me?! But I'm a teacher! He can't expel me!"

Aizawa, looking confused, said, "Yeah, I can't expel Hizashi. The hell is up with this realm?"

Hizashi rolled around in bed, muttering to himself in his sleep as he was very clearly having some sort of nightmare. Eventually, he shot up into a sitting position as he screamed out of fright, only to snap out of it and realize that he had woken up, but that realization came at the end of a pillow that Aizawa threw at his head from the doorway leading into Hizashi's bedroom.

"Snap out of it, Hizashi," Aizawa grumbled, "It was just a damn nightmare. Geez, it's barely five-thirty in the morning."

Looking at Aizawa, Hizashi settled down a bit and offered a sheepish apology. "Heh, sorry about that, Sho," Hizashi replied.

"Wait, so me and Sho share a place?" Hizashi in the audience said, looking confused as he gestured to the big theater screen.

Shrugging, Tale remarked, "Well I did say that there were crafted realms where you and Aizawa were an item. But I can tell that this isn't one such realm."

"As it should be," Emi commented.

...

Aizawa and Hizashi sat opposite of one another at a table in the kitchen area of the apartment, with Emi sitting at an end between the two guys. "...So after Emi and I came across the bodies of Shinso and Eri on the ground in front of a zamboni that you owned, I in my grief expelled you from UA, causing you to scream no as you fell into a colored spiraling background," Aizawa said as he summed up what Hizashi had told him about the nightmare. The underground hero took a sip of his coffee. "Yeah, that was one hell of a weird nightmare that you had, Hizashi."

"Sho, I am SO sorry about what happened yesterday at the ice rink, where what happened ended up playing into the nightmare I had woken up from," Hizashi said.

"Wait, I'm confused," Emi said, "I know that Shinso and Eri were both hurt at the ice rink yesterday, but I don't know the exact details."

"Me and Shinso were hurt at an ice rink?" Eri in the audience said in a surprised tone that had a bit of worry to it.

"And Emi apparently also lives with me and Hizashi?" Aizawa added.

Folding her arms over her chest, Emi added, "I better be sharing Shouta's room."

Sighing in a resigned tone, Aizawa proceeded to explain, "Here's what happened, Emi. Me, as well as Sekijiro and Hizashi, had the students in my and Sekijiro's respective homeroom classes at the local ice rink. We also took Shinso along since he tested into the hero course, as well as Eri because I couldn't find an available babysitter to look after her."

"Wait, Nemuri was available at the time," Hizashi pointed out.

"...One that I would trust alone with Eri, I meant," Aizawa clarified dryly. Continuing on, the underground hero added, "Also for reasons similar to why Eri was there, Asui's parents had her bring her little brother along to the ice rink."

"Oh, so you wouldn't trust me alone with Eri?" Nemuri in the audience said in an indignant tone to Aizawa.

"In his defense, there are times I couldn't in good faith trust you alone with most students," Nezu remarked in a mildly apologetic tone towards the eighteen only hero.

"Also, I took Samidare with me to the ice rink kero?" Tsuyu remarked in a mildly surprised tone.

Nodding to show she was following along, Emi said, "Yeah, I can see that. Quite a roster."

"During our time at the ice rink," Aizawa continued, "Hizashi got on one of the zambonies and started driving it around. It got out of control and injured half of the first year hero course, plus Shinso, Eri and whatshisname Asui's little brother."

"Hizashi injured all of those kids?!" Emi practically exclaimed.

Taking a sip of his coffee, Aizawa said, "...Yes and no. You see Emi, Hizashi when he started was following all procedures to the letter, as well as taking every precaution. He was doing it by the book, and his behavior actually got some nods of approval out of me."

"But the zamboni I was riding went haywire," Hizashi said in a guilty tone.

Pointing to Hizashi in a commending manner, Aizawa remarked, "Exactly." Turning back to Emi, Aizawa went on, "The reason why the zamboni that Hizashi was using injured all of the kids is because it had some sort of malfunction that no one could have foreseen. Hizashi is actually innocent in all of this."

"So I'm innocent but I was expelled by Sho anyway?" Hizashi in the audience asked.

"I keep telling you that you can't be expelled from UA, Hizashi," Aizawa replied dryly in a bit of an exasperated tone, "Chances are that you were instead fired by Nezu."

Gesturing to Hizashi, Emi said to Aizawa, "And you expelled him because..."

Gently shaking his head, Aizawa replied, "I didn't expel Hizashi. However, a lot of parents were so upset over what had happened that Nezu, seeing that they wouldn't be settled down without some sort of bloodshed in the metaphorical sense, had to fire him from his post at UA."

Clapping his hands together in the audience, Aizawa said, "Boom, called it."

Sighing in a resigned tone, Hizashi said, "And now I'm out of a job, seeing as how I'm no longer teaching at UA."

Both Aizawa and Emi turned to face Hizashi, giving him confused looks. "...Uhh, Hizashi," Aizawa began, "Not only are you still a licensed pro hero, you still have a part time job over at the local radio station as a radio personality."

Nodding in agreement, Emi held her right index and middle fingers up and said, "That's two jobs."

Perking up a bit out of mild surprise, Hizashi said, "...Oh, oh yeah."

In the audience, Hizashi shrugged as he said, "Well chances are I'd for real forget that detail in despair over being fired from UA."

"And Samidare was hurt?!" Tsuyu exclaimed.

"Hey now," Kotaro said, "It wasn't Hizashi's fault that the zambonie went haywire."

...

Later, Hizashi was walking out on a patrol because he's a pro hero. As he walked, he heard a familiar male voice call out to him. Turning around, Hizashi saw Shinso and Eri come up to him; Shinso had a deep scar under his right eye (the stitches were still there as it was a very fresh wound) and Eri had her left forearm in a cast that was held up by a sling that she wore.

"Oh, hey kids," Hizashi said in a guilty tone, "How are you two holding up?"

Looking down at Eri, Shinso said, "Go on, Little Horn."

With all attention on Eri, she nervously looked up at Hizashi and said, "Umm, Aizawa said that the funny ice car you rode had a problem that made it hurt everyone, and that you didn't do anything wrong, so I just wanted to say I don't blame you." Eri then walked up to Hizashi and used her one good arm to try and hug the loud pro hero.

"Awwwwww!" a lot of people in the audience all said when they saw Eri on screen be so sweet towards Hizashi.

Looking up at Aizawa as she was still sitting in his lap, Eri said, "Is that true?"

Looking down at Eri, Aizawa smiled warmly as he gently ruffled the top of her head. "It would be the right thing to do if it did happen for real, yes."

Sniffling a bit, Hizashi said, "That little girl is such a sweetie!" Eri, who heard that, giggled cutely.

Looking to Hizashi, Shinso said, "Yeah, the raw deal you got really blows, Hizashi-sensei."

"Just Hizashi," replied the former UA teacher, "I no longer work at-"

"And I never cared about you no longer working at UA," Shinso interrupted, "You'll always be Hizashi-sensei to me." Hizashi was touched by the sympathy, so he threw his arms around the purple-haired boy and dragged him into a hug. "Ah! I'm still a bit sore from the zambonie incident yesterday, Hizashi-sensei!"

"Oops, sorry," Hizashi apologized sheepishly as he let Shinso go.

"Aww, well look at you, Shinso," Hizashi in the audience said as he gestured to the big theater screen, "You're trying to cheer me up to."

"And you forgot that I was still injured," Shinso pointed out dryly.

"And you have a scar to match Sho's," Hizashi pointed out in return, "You really are becoming the next Sho, aren't you" Shinso couldn't help but blush out of embarrassment under the playful bit of teasing from Hizashi.

...

Later, while Hizashi was getting a coffee from an outdoor vendor, he heard a familiar female voice call out to him, making him turn to see Aizawa's student Tsuyu come walking over, leading a ten-year-old boy that Hizashi remembered was Tsuyu's little brother Samidare. The loud pro hero knew that Tsuyu wasn't one of the injured kids from the zambonie incident, but he distinctly remembered that Samidare was hurt somehow, but he didn't look hurt.

"Oh, word up with thee, Asui siblings?" Hizashi greeted. To Tsuyu, Hizashi said while pointing at Samidare, "Wasn't he hurt when that zambonie I rode went crazy?"

"Samidare was hurt kero," Tsuyu replied, and Samidare lifted up the bangs that was covering one of his eyes, revealing that the covered eye was further covered by a very serious looking patch that was there to allow for healing; the patch had very slight hints of red staining the white. "He suffered an eye injury," Tsuyu clarified as her little brother lowered his bangs.

In the audience, Tsuyu shuddered involuntarily as she saw her little brother on screen with such an injury. "That...that is not a pleasant sight for me, I have to say."

Sucking in a cringing breath, Hizashi said to Tsuyu, "Yeah, I'm really sorry that I hurt your lil' bro here, Asui. It was not intentional on my part."

Nodding once in understanding, Tsuyu replied, "I know. I got the full details from Aizawa-sensei, who also told me that he and the others on the UA staff are looking into the matter to see why the zambonie went haywire."

As Hizashi nodded in thanks to Tsuyu, he looked down at Samidare who got his attention by tugging on the hem of his jacket. Samidare then reached into a shopping bag he was carrying, pulled out an xl-sized bar of cookies n' cream chocolate, and handed it to Hizashi. "That's his way of saying he doesn't blame you," Tsuyu began to clarify, "That he knows that you didn't mean to hurt him, and he's forgiving you."

"Awwwwww!" people in the audience said again as they saw Tsuyu's little brother being a sweetheart now.

"Your little brother is such a precious little bean, Tsuyu," Mina remarked.

Nodding in agreement, Tsuyu replied, "Yeah, he can be rather sweet."

Hizashi accepted the cookies n' cream bar from Samidare, albeit with some confusion in his expression. "...Just curious," Hizashi began, "But why-"

"Cookies n' cream is Samidare's favorite," Tsuyu clarified, "So he likes sharing it with others, hoping they'd like it too." Hizashi, now knowing the full details of the gesture, was all the more touched by it. He gave his thanks, and after the Asui siblings took off, Hizashi got his coffee and took off himself.

...

Hizashi had finished his hero stuff for the day, so now he was doing his radio stuff. "Hello and welcome to the Present Mic hour," Hizashi said into the microphone at his work station at the radio station, "I'm your host Present Mic. Today we'll be taking calls from all you listeners and answering them on the air." Suddenly, the phone terminal at Hizashi's work went off. "Ah, our first caller of the show tonight," Hizashi remarked. Pressing a button, Hizashi said, "Hello caller, and welcome to the Present Mic hour. What's your name and what's the sitch?"

"Uhh, hi," the voice of Dabi came out from the other end of the call, sounding moderately pissed off, "The name's Toya, and my youngest sibling Shoto was injured very recently because some dumbass teacher at his school wanted to ride a zambonie."

"Wait, Dabi called in to speak to Hizashi during a live radio show?" Aizawa in the audience exclaimed, looking surprised.

"And it's clear I'm pissed that Shoto was hurt by Present Mic using a zambonie," Dabi remarked.

"It was an accident!" Hizashi exclaimed.

Hizashi, looking mildly surprised, said, "Uhh, okay then."

"I was wondering what I should get my lil' bro as a get well soon gift," Dabi went on, "I was thinking of tracking down the sorry son of a bitch who-"

"Next caller!" Hizashi exclaimed, a bit of worry in his tone as he ended the call with Dabi. The phone went off again and Hizashi answered the call. "Hello second caller. What can I do to help someone like you?"

"Sup, the name's Mitsuki," came the voice of Bakugo's mom Mitsuki, "Yeah, this Magic Horse Girl who goes to school with my brat Katsuki was hurt recently in a zambonie incident, and now Katsuki wants to do something nice for her."

"Magic Horse Girl?" Hizashi replied in a confused tone.

"My mom means Pony, Hizashi-sensei," Bakugo's voice came over from the other end of the call in a mildly exasperated tone.

"Yeah, I'd try to remember the actual name of any girl that Katsuki expressed romantic interest in," Mitsuki in the audience said.

Face palming, Bakugo added, "But you were still shown calling Pony a 'Magic Horse Girl' on live radio either way."

"Oh, Bakugo!" Hizashi remarked, "Fancy hearing from you again!"

"Yeah, and I'm sorry about the raw deal you got," Bakugo replied.

"Heh, thanks," Hizashi said, "And as for Tsunotori, why not try some traditional gifts first, like some chocolates?" After Bakugo thanked Hizashi for the advice and the call ended, Hizashi got to the third call. "Sup listener, how can I help you?"

"Is this The Krusty Krab?" Kaminari's voice came from the other end.

"No this is Patrick," Hizashi replied without missing a beat before ending the call. Seeing that he had a fourth call, Hizashi answered it. "And what can I answer for you, listener?"

"Hizashi! It's me, Shouta!" Aizawa's voice came from the other end, "Listen! That first guy who called you is a wanted villain! We're going to need to talk to you to get what info we can to help track him down and bring him in!"

"Sorry Sho, I'm on the air right now," Hizashi replied.

"Damn it, Hizashi!" Aizawa snapped, "This could be the lead we need to bring Dabi in! We really need you to-"

Hizashi ended the call with Aizawa to answer call number five. "And how can I help you tonight, listener?"

"So Hizashi offered advice to Bakugo," Aizawa in the audience began, "Smoothly dealt with a prank call from Kaminari, and ignored me when I tried to warn him about a villain."

Shrugging, Hizashi remarked, "To be honest, that wouldn't be the weirdest on air show I would ever have had."

"Also, both Todoroki and Pony were confirmed to be among those injured in the zambonie incident," Izuku pointed out.

"Just how did the zambonie go haywire anyway?" Uraraka asked rhetorically.

...

The following day, Hizashi was out on a morning stroll to get a bagel and coffee when he ran into Aizawa and Sekijiro. "Thanks for helping out with trying to track down Dabi last night, Hizashi," Aizawa said in a sarcastic tone.

"No problem, Sho!" Hizashi replied in a sincere, chipper tone, "By the way, how are things going down at UA?"

Sucking in a cringing breath, Sekijiro said, "Ooh, about that. You see, we completed the investigation into the zambonie you were using in the incident. It turns out someone had cut some wires inside of it, which is what caused the thing to go haywire."

"It was sabotaged!" Hizashi in the audience exclaimed as he pointed to the big theater screen.

"But who did so, and why?" Nemuri asked.

"Did you find out who could have done it?" Hizashi asked.

In a resigned tone, Sekijiro said, "Yes. It turns out that my boys Monoma, Shihai and Togaru were all behind it, as they were banking on one of the students who regularly associates with Aizawa's boy Bakugo to want to drive the zambonie around."

Snapping his fingers, Hizashi exclaimed, "Damn it!"

Rolling his eyes, Aizawa said, "Yes, well since that new evidence came to light, Nezu said that he can re-hire you back at UA, provided that you-"

"YAHOOHOOHOOHOO!" Hizashi cheered as he jumped up and down out of excitement, which made his answer clear. And so Hizashi joined Aizawa and Sekijiro, the latter going on about how his boys who were in trouble were going go be punished properly.

FIN

"Sweetness!" Hizashi exclaimed, "I was restored!"

Scoffing, Itsuka said, "And it was Monoma, Shihai and Togaru who were behind the zambonie incident! What the hell, boys?!"

"Hey, we'd never do it for real!" Monoma exclaimed.

Looking from his remote to the big theater screen and back again, Tale said to the audience, "Yeah, that really was the last realm for this show." Waiving a hand in the air, Tale said to the audience, "See you later back at the show with realms that have alternate versions of the 1-A and 1-B girls!"

"But I die in every realm shown in that show!" Mineta exclaimed in complaint before he and the rest of the audience poofed away.

Turning to face Kotaro, Tale said, "And I shall be seeing you later as well, old friend. Provided that you want to return, of course."

Smirking a bit, the producer of a zombie girl idol group said, "Oh, it would be my pleasure. See you later, Tale."

"Until next time, Kotaro," the Realmcrafter replied before sending Kotaro back. With a satisfied smile on his face, Tale walked out of his theater room.

END

Author's notes;

Yeah, my original plan was to only do one chapter for each student in 1-A, but a comment that fencer29 left on chapter three gave me the idea for a special bonus chapter at the end of this story where Aizawa 'expels' Hizashi, although it's for a different reason than what was offered. Thanks for the inspiration, dude.

But yeah, the curtain on this story has been drawn to a close. But don't worry; I got a few more chapter ideas for the 1-A and 1-B girls story (please leave ideas for that story there not here), and I'm even sitting on a third summoned audience story idea for BNHA.

Catch you all later, and have a good day.
