"Mom is dating?!"

"There they are!" Joscelyn calls walking up to them as a figure is adjusting his glasses. "Clarissa sweetheart your late."

"Sorry mom! Got a bit tied up but I came as soon as I was free." She smiles just as the guy looks up and stands to his full height.

"Sweetie, this is Luke, my boyfriend. Luke this is Clarissa my daughter."

Luke smiles at Clary softly before extending his hand. Clary places her hand into his before meeting his eyes.

"Luke? Is that short for something?" She says repeating the line she asked earlier.

"Short for Lucian." He smirks at her.

"Alright Luke, are you hungry?" Luke smiles at his girlfriend "I am starving." He winks at Clary before following his girlfriend inside.
