This is very very late, but a good friend of mine put an idea in my head and I've been too busy to bring it to fruition, but here it is now! A month after Halloween! I don't care if it's past Halloween and American Thanksgiving. I want this, and my friend suggested it, so I'm doing it. Please send feedback, stay safe, and I hope you enjoy!

This is set around s2, after the curse breaking

A quick swipe of her washcloth left the last table cleaned and her shift officially over. Red's been wanting to join Emma at her booth since the blonde arrived at the diner an hour ago, but Granny wouldn't let her go until she finished. At long last, she could remove her apron and talk with her girlfriend. She came out from the kitchen to see Emma waiting in the booth for her with an extra hot chocolate to warm up during the cool day.

"Hi," Red said excitedly.

"Hey. How was your shift?"

"Boring, of course." She wrinkled her nose in distaste, making Emma laugh out.

"Would you like to join me? The hot chocolate's on me."

"Aw, you're too sweet!" Emma blushed and smiled shyly. Red slipped into the seat across from Emma and leaned halfway over the table. Emma leaned over the other half and offered a sweet kiss. They parted and sipped their pumpkin hot chocolate, courtesy of Granny's seasonal menu.

"So...Halloween is tonight, and I heard there's a haunted house on Baker Street. Do you want to go with me?" That shut down all calm thoughts in Red's mind.

"Oh, I'm not very fond of haunted houses."

"Oh, okay. Would you mind if I went with Henry, then I'll drop him off with Regina to trick or treat. After that, you can come over to my place and we can eat Halloween candy and watch movies. I even bought those really good pumpkin cookies from the grocery store!"

"I'm just...not very fond of Halloween..."

"I thought you said you loved it."

"No. Under the curse, I loved it, but as Red, I hate it." Emma looked confused, but shook it off and took another sip of her hot chocolate.

"We could...do something else not related to Halloween."

"I can't. I...have to go pick something up for Granny." Emma's face fell and it hurt to lie to her, but she couldn't handle Emma knowing why she detested Halloween so much.

"Oh. Well...okay then." She hung her head as Red got up from the booth and ran to the kitchen, where she flew out the back door and far into the woods.

Emma sat in her booth, gazing dejectedly into her mug. Some time into her self-pity party, her phone buzzed in her pocket. She took it out and answered her father's phone call.

"Hey, David."

"Hi, Emma. I know this is a bit sudden, but could you take a shift tonight? I don't need you until after ten."

"Sure thing."

"Thanks, honey."

"...yup." Emma hurriedly hung up and stuffed her phone back into her pocket. She moved her mug out of the way as she laid her head on the table. If only life was easy.

Some time later, Emma walked Henry back down the road to his house.

"That was incredible! That vampire looked so real."

"Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if they were a real thing in the enchanted forest..."

"-and that zombie with the chainsaw! He almost sawed you in half."

"Yeah."

"And then that clown that was carrying an actual baby like It."

"It was great, kid. You can't tell your mom how scary they made it this year, though. She'd shut it down real fast."

"I've learned my lesson many times. Did you know she shut down the school play when I was 7 'cause the teacher who cast the characters said I was too small to play the main character?"

"That sounds rough."

"That's nothing compared to the 'bake sale incident' when I was 8." They reached the gate and the start of the walk, when Regina burst out of the door with a Wonder Woman costume to match Henry's Superman.

"Henry, there you are! You're both late."

"Sorry, mom. The line was really long."

"Are you ready?"

"Yup! Do you wanna come with us, Emma? Please?" Regina looked adamant, but did not speak up.

"I'm good, thanks. I've got a shift at the station anyways."

"Okay. Bye Emma!"

"See you later, kid." Emma waved to Regina and walked back down the road to the station, where her bug was waiting. She had an hour to kill before her shift, but Red was nowhere to be found.

Pulling out her phone, she dialled David's number.

"Hey, dad. I can take over for you now."

"Em, it's only nine."

"I know. I have nothing to do, so I might as well start now."

"Are you sure?"

"Yep."

"...alright then. Where are you?"

"Outside the station."

"Okay. Well, I'll see you outside, then." Emma hung up again and got into the patrol car. She watched David as he left the station with his keys in his hand. She waved back and started up the car, ready to go on patrol for the night.

Last Halloween, during the curse, Emma had a wild time chasing kids with toilet paper from neighbourhoods, so she imagined this year would be much worse. She started the car and left, heading for Regina's neighbourhood first, like the mayor had insisted the day before.

She swept through the neighbourhoods slowly, watching for suspicious activity. She got to see the younger children's costumes while she went, and even saw Henry and Regina, to which she waved and Henry waved back.

After her patrol through town, she only had the woods to cover before going back to the station. Personally, this was her least favourite part of patrol. The woods were always dark, and in a magical town, magic lurks in the darkness. Or whatever Snow said about magic and darkness.

As a new precaution set by the mayor, all dwellings that seem to be uninhabited must be checked. Emma thought this was a plan from the mayor to spite Emma, but when she found where Sydney kept Kathryn when she was kidnapped, she abandoned all ideas of ill intent from the mayor.

The first cabin was clear, but the second, Gold's old cabin, was hiding her girlfriend, of all things.

"Ruby?! What the hell are you doing in here? And why is it dark?" Red was sprawled out on the carpet, writhing uncontrollably and groaning in pain.

"Emma! Get out! Get out now," she choked out.

"Why? What's going on?"

"It's...hard to explain at the moment." Emma's eyes widened.

"Is it–" she leant down and whispered,"–a wolf thing?"

"Y-yes. Sort of. You could call it that."

"How...how can I help?"

"Just...start a fire." Emma rushed outside to find a stack of wood piled against the house. She grabbed a handful and ran it back inside, throwing it into the fireplace and lighting it with a cigarette lighter.

"Okay, so...do you need any help?" Red gasped and clawed at the floor.

"No. No, I don't need any help."

"Can you explain what's happening? Cause I'm really confused."

"Werewolves in the Enchanted Forest were associated with All Hallows Eve, the equivalent of Halloween, except for modern traditions. We are spiritually connected to the holiday, but-Ahh!" Red cried out and grit her teeth. Emma stayed silent, waiting for her to continue, "-But on Halloween, there are no full moons. Which means we are connected to it, but we can't physically change forms. So other than physically, I'm changing."

"But...isn't it supposed to be painless?"

"Not on Halloween, no. I don't know exactly why, but Halloween makes 'changing' all the more painful."

"So, to summarize, you can't physically change into a wolf on Halloween, but because of the werewolves connection to it, you're...a werewolf in a humans body?"

"Exactly. Which means you should get out of here. This is the only night I have no control over the wolf."

"Why? You can't eat me or anything without your fangs."

"I won't be conscious. The wolf will be the one controlling my human body."

"It can't be that bad."

"Emma...get out of here!" Red snarled and her eyes glowed amber in the dark cabin. Emma stood her ground.

"No. I won't leave."

"Emma, I mean it! Leave!"

"No!" This time Red's demeanour visibly changed. She was no longer writhing on the ground, crying out in pain, but growling and crawling towards her. "Red?"

She crawled closer, barring her human teeth and making a sound deep in her throat. Her eyes never changed back from their glowing gold.

"Shit," Emma murmured, before jumping over the couch to try and reach another room with a lock. Ruby pounced and wrestled her to the ground. With a howl, she leaned down and bit Emma's wrist, enough to hurt but not enough to break skin. "Fuck!"

Emma rolled over and straddled Ruby, pinning her flailing arms to the floor.

"No! Stop it! Chill the fuck down for a sec." Red stopped struggling. "You're not gonna fucking bite me and get away with it. I don't care if you're a wolf. Calm down." Ruby titled her head curiously.

"You like that?" Emma laughed. Ruby furrowed her eyebrows and watched Emma attentively. "Come here." Ruby growled again. "No. You're gonna stop growling and you're going to sit with me until this passes. I can tolerate much, but I won't tolerate a wolf growling back at me." Red looked guilty, not meeting Emma's hard gaze.

"Now let's go." Red hung her head and climbed onto the couch, still remaining on all fours. Emma pulled out her phone and kept herself company while Red was laying her head in Emma's lap. Twenty minutes of silence passed.

"You're a good wolf, aren't you?" Ruby smiled and licked at the closest patch of Emma's skin she could reach, being her elbow.

"...alright then." Emma awkwardly smiled down at Red, while the wolf-human snuggled into her belly.

"Human Red never told me how snuggly you were," Emma commented, grinning widely. The wolf whined and shut her eyes. Emma closed her eyes and leaned back on the couch. She felt Ruby's weight leave her lap for a minute, and wiggled right back onto Emma's lap. She opened her eyes and realized that while she left Emma, Red completely undressed.

"Why did you remove your clothes?" Ruby made a content noise and rolled onto her back. Emma thought for a moment. "Oh right. You're a sort-of wolf. Wolves don't wear clothes."

It wasn't like Emma hadn't seen her girlfriend naked before, but this time, it made her uncomfortable. Like she wasn't supposed to see her naked when she was a wolf in her human body. She pet her hair and kept gazing at her phone. Red knocked the phone out of her hands and climbed on top of Emma.

"Uh...Red?" She ripped Emma's jacket off and tore her tank top to shreds.

"What are you doing?" Red bit her lip and thrusted her hand into Emma's jeans.

Emma wasn't sure what was happening. Her girlfriend was a wolf who was currently pushing Emma's panties out of the way to rub at her clit slowly. She let out a slow groan as Ruby leant forward and bit and sucked at her neck.

"Oh, god. Don't stop." Red moved downwards to Emma's white bra and tore the front of it. She ran the tip of her nose under her breasts before moving to a nipple and biting harshly. Emma moaned sharply and kneaded Red's hair, urging her to continue.

Emma shimmied out of her jeans, letting the cool air hit her core.

"Please, Red." The hand in her panties shifted downward and teased at her entrance. Growling in frustration, Ruby ripped the last garment from Emma's body and rubbed circles over her bundle of nerves.

"More," Emma panted. Red drove a finger straight into her cunt, rubbing the walls that fluttered around her finger. The small shocks it left in her body made it hard for her to think straight. Emma moaned in a broken breath and thrusted herself onto the finger inside her.

"Fuck me harder," Emma moaned. Ruby complied, thrusting in and out hastily.

"Oh god, fuck." Emma started shaking and beads of sweat formed on her forehead. Red saw this and leaned down to suck at her clit, all the while keeping up her fast pace. Emma's legs rested on her Red's shoulders as they began to quiver.

"Red, I'm-oh my god!" Emma panted and writhed as she came, dripping her essence all over Red's chin. She pressed Ruby into her pussy as she rode out her high. Once she was spent, she collapsed and dropped her legs, finding it hard to breath.

"That was fast," She said to herself. Ruby snuggled the inside of Emma's thigh and bit as she climbed up, each time she moved, biting and nipping her skin.

Emma sighed and laid down as Red laid beside her and snuggled up to her.

After a minute or so, Emma sat up and captured Ruby's waist with her arms.

"My turn to please."

When she awoke, Ruby was gazing at her softly, drawing a line up from Emma's jaw to her collarbone and back up.

"Hey." Ruby whispered.

"Hi yourself. Do you remember anything?"

"All of it. I'm not sure why though."

"Cause it wasn't something the wolf wanted for you to forget," Emma suggested. Ruby laughed.

"I guess so. The reason I wanted you to leave so bad was because being a wolf is a genetic thing that requires a buttload of chemicals to release in my brain. That includes an intense amount of libido. I just didn't want you here..."

"That's okay. The sex was amazing, but I guess it felt a little weird at first. Now, though, its not weird ."

"It isn't?"

"Of course not. Why would it be?"

"I just thought that...since our relationship is sorta new that it would be weird for this to suddenly happen."

"This didn't just suddenly happen though. You've been a wolf your whole life, whether you could change or not. I'm not just gonna leave you because you were born a different species. Especially if I'm already in love with you."

"You...you really think so? You don't wanna leave me?"

"Of course not. Plus, that was really hot last night."

"...really?" Ruby and Emma were both blushing.

"Uh huh. If it weren't so weird to have sex with a literal wolf, I'd suggest doing it again."

"Oh, well. I guess you'll just have to wait for next year." Halloween is officially Red's favourite holiday again.

This turned out much different than I expected, but...writing a wolf having sex with a human just makes me uncomfortable, but I still wanted a bit of supernatural elements, so I came up with a general consensus. I hope you liked it!!
