Vision had spent the entire weekend entertaining Vincent and Vivian and although it did do a number on him, he found himself saddened as he realised that tomorrow they would be going back to their mother, he watched his children while they slept, laying a gentle hand over Vivians face to brush her hair away and placing a gentle kiss atop both of their heads before leaving their room, he decided to watch some TV before he slept as his mind would always keep him awake when it was the final night of their weekend.
Wanda was currently helping a rather intoxicated Pietro back to their door as they exited the elevator, shushing him as he started singing the Sokovian national anthem badly, she knew that it was only them and Vision on this floor but Vision had kids and he most certainly did not need them to be awoken by a pissed idiot.
She had finally reached the door when Pietro stumbled, pushing Wanda backwards, she closed her eyes as she braced for impact, but it never came, rather she had found herself held steady by two rather strong yet gentle hands, she glanced up and saw Vision looking down at her, she blushed and leapt away as she began apologising profusely.
Vision who had opened the door due to the sound of singing was taken aback as he saw Wanda's form plunge towards him and instinctively raised his arms to grasp her, ensuring she did not hurt herself. He sighed softly as he saw her apologise and smiled
"Its fine, thankfully my kids sleep like rocks" he chuckled lightly, causing Wanda to relax, she nodded before stumbling towards Pietro, trying to take a hold of her drunken brother but failing.
Vision frowned as he watched how Wanda's small figure battled against Pietros larger figure as she tried to steady him and without hesitating he strode over, placed an arm around Pietros side and entered the apartment, leaving Wanda dazed and confused.
Vision looked to Wanda as he entered, as if asking which room to place Pietro in and Wanda pointed towards the door, Vision nodded and placed Pietro down onto the bed.
He walked out of the room to find Wanda watching him, he couldnt help but notice her outfit, she was wearing the red leather jacket again only this time there was a black corset underneath which hugged her figure and a leather mini skirt. Vision however being the gentleman that he was ensured that his gaze remained on Wanda's emerald eyes as she spoke.
"I am sorry for disturbing your night, Pietro tends to overdo it on the weekend" she smiled sheepishly toward Vision.
"That is quite alright, you are both still young so you should enjoy your youth" he stated matter-of-factly.
Wanda quirked at his reply as she questioned "Your not that old"
Vision smiled softly "Your as old as you feel"
Wanda was still slightly intoxicated as she replied without really thinking "Well your definitely a catch so maybe it's best you stay in" she smirked causing Vision to blush profusely.
He noticed Wanda's demeanor change and found himself mumbling as he began walking toward the door "Well.. uh.. that's awfully... kind? of you... but I suppose I best get back to my apartm-!" he gasped as Wanda lunged herself but looked more like she fell forward crashing herself on his chest, he fell from the force of her dead weight, he placed his hands on her shoulders as he pushed her gently to sit back and found himself blushing again as he gazed into Wanda's seductively darkened irises, he gulped, and stood abruptly before flying out of the door.
Wanda dazed, unable to recall the last 10 minutes, stood from the floor and wandered into her bedroom, she would awake the next morning with a slight hangover and no memory of Vision from the night before.
The following morning Vision was getting Vivian and Vincent's bags ready, ensuring that everything was back in its place before calling for the kids as it was now time to go back to their mother.
Vincent leapt into the room as he was ready to go home, whereas Viv was a lot more solemn and silent.
Vision noted his daughters demeanor and kneeled down next to her, offering her a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen if she wished to speak her mind.
Vivian looked to her father as tears welled in her wide and innocent eyes, causing Visions heart to break
"What ever is the matter sweetie?" He pulled Vivian to his chest as he carried her, bopping his knees up and down to soothe her.
"Da.. Daddy.. Will... b.. b-be lonely"she managed to choke out as she started to sob.
Vision was stuck for words, he hadn't really noticed how Vivian was aware of his life and what it was like for him when they were gone, he smiled sadly as he began to soothe her, the time sadly was ticking and he knew that Virginia was the sort of woman that liked things to run like clockwork, Vision sighed as he opened the door and began to head out, he was greeted by a very hungover Wanda who was picking up the paper from the floor.
Vivian instantly chirped up at seeing Wanda and greeted her a good morning.
Wanda smiled as she greeted them back and nodded to Vision who in turn nodded back, before she returned to her apartment.
Vision thought for a moment and then carried on to the elevator.
He had finally strapped Vivian and Vincent into their seats and was ready to head back to the white picket fence house that he used to call his home.
He noted how Vivian had calmed down instantaneously after seeing Wanda and couldnt help the curiosity in his mind as he asked the child
"So you really like Wanda eh?"
Vivian smiled as she profusely nodded in agreement
Vision chuckled and found the ride to take them home was a lot more chipper than usual.
For once, he was excited for Monday.
He parked infront of the house and opened the passenger door for Vin and Viv.
The front door opened and Virginia stood leaning slightly against the archway, smiling as Vin lunged himself into her embrace.
"Ooof! Hello big man, did you have fun with your dad?" She chuckled.
Vincent had only nodded a reply, he glanced back to Vision giving a simple wave and bye bye before darting inside to play with his toys.
Vision sighed as he watched his sons form disappear inside the house, he knew that it was difficult building a steady father/son relationship with Vin as he had always been a mamas boy.
"Daddy, cant I stay with you a little longer?"
he was pulled from his thoughts by the gentle question and slight tug on his jacket, Vivian was still standing next to him, seeming rather apprehensive about leaving him.
He smiled warmly at his dear daughter and laid a kiss ontop of her head as he spoke
"Sadly I will be working all week, and you my little nugget have school"
he ruffled her hair and smiled as he watched her chuckle.
She gave her father one last kiss on his cheek and began walking towards her mother, Vision was startled as he heard her shout out
"SAY BYE BYE TO WANA FROM ME!"
he chuckled and nodded before entering his car and making his way back to his apartment, usually he would head to the school but had found a sudden pull to go home and hopefully bump into Wanda.
Wanda was currently lounging infront of the TV, nursing her hangover with a sweet milk tea, she had looked for painkillers but it appeared that Pietro had already taken them all and was still unconscious in his room.
She sighed, if only some knight in shining armour would bring her some pain killers and anything else that can help cure a hangover.
At that thought the doorbell rang, she quirked for a moment and then shrugged as she went to answer, to her surprise it wasnt a knight in shining armour holding pain killers, but rather is was Vision, holding some vitamin drinks that appeared to be full of electrolytes and some aspirin.
She beamed as she took his hand and guided him inside, offering him a tea and a seat.
"Ah Vision you life saver! We had ran out of pain killers!"
he smiled, handing over the items and sat on a stool near the kitchen as he watched her take the aspirin with the vitamin drink.
"I had a feeling that you would be feeling terrible this morning" he gestured to her ever obvious hangover, her hair was matted and makeup run.
She blushed, she actually hadn't realised how bad she looked and couldnt help the urge to hide her face from him.
He noticed her demeanor change and chuckled as he stated that it was alright, infact it was rather refreshing for him to see someone that was enjoying their life.
Wanda smiled shyly as she spoke, rubbing her under eyes with a wet wipe that she had found
"So you came here with all these goodies because your a good samaritan?" she smirked as she noticed him falter from her words.
"uhh..well no, I uh, just dropped the kids back to their mothers and thought that.." he stopped as he thought, why did he come here?
Wanda watched him and smiled reassuringly as she replied
"I'm only messing with you Viszh"
Vision blushed brightly by the nickname that had rolled off of Wanda's tongue and couldnt help but remember how Wanda had looked the previous night when she was intoxicated, he found himself curious as he mused aloud
"Do you remember last night?"
Wanda wondered a moment by his question and cocked an eyebrow as she didnt understand.
He smiled
"I helped you get your brother inside.. I believe he was singing the Sokovian anthem?" Wanda's eyes widened as she remembered how Vision had prevented her from falling and nodded profusely, offering her thanks and apologies again.
Vision smiled.. but the curiosity at the back of his mind would not settle and so he asked
"Do you remember anything else?"
Wanda shook her head as a reply and Vision nodded, a smirk appearing along his lips as he decided to tease her.
"You said something along the lines of.. 'I am a catch' and that I should stay home?"
He smiled as he watched Wanda's face burn crimson as though she had just been slapped in the face with an embarrassing memory.
"Oh my god I am so sorry for saying those things, I was drunk and I mean, I am sorry"she bowed her head as her blush remained, biting her lower lip.
Vision couldn't help but chuckle as he stated that it was ok, he could hear Pietro stirring in the other room, and decided that he would head out now.
"I'll see you tomorrow, Wanda" He stated as he bid her goodbye
"Yes definitely" Wanda replied and with that Vision left.
Pietro had walked out of his room, yawning as he stretched, he started rummaging in the drawers and cupboards but was surprised as Wanda threw the pack of aspirin over to him.
"Ah thank you sister" he beamed.
Wanda's eyes had remained on the door infront of her as she had thought
Hangovers aren't all that bad.
