A/N: Takes place summer of season 4 in Smallville. Clark never dated Alicia. Takes place early season one of NCIS: LA and mid-season four of NCIS
Clark got off the couch, and walked over to where the phone was ringing, picking it up on the second ring.
"Kent residence."
"Clark, it's Callen."
"Hey Callen, how're things?" He asked him; the eighteen year-old had been introduced to his 'brother' as he liked to think of Callen two years earlier. Callen had been on leave and Clark's mom had invited him over for dinner. Apparently when Callen was younger Martha and Jonathan had found him outside Smallville and taken him in for a while. He had moved out when he turned eighteen, and had been with the FBI by the time Clark came into the Kent's lives, but he had kept in touch as best he could, which due to his job at the NCIS Special Projects Division wasn't very often. However, he had met Clark after his first football game freshman year, and the two had come to regard each other as brothers, with Clark going so far as to trust Callen with his secret. There was nothing they would not do for each other.
"They could be better. I wish this was a social call, but I need your help with an op."
The young man didn't even hesitate in his reply.
"I'll be there in ten minutes."
True to his word, ten minutes later Clark was standing outside of the Los Angles office of NCIS, embracing Callen as he came out to greet him.
"How's everything in Smallville?" Callen asked as they rode the elevator to the main floor of the office.
"The usual; some kids got out of hand, Lex and his father are at each others throats, Chloe's got an internship at the Daily Planet and Lana went to Paris for the summer." He finished with a slight grin, which Callen returned. It was indeed the usual for Smallville.
"Mr. Kent, It's good of you to come." Hellie said as they walked out of the elevator. Clark smiled as he observed the younger woman; she was one of only two people in the whole world that could intimidate him, but he knew she would do anything for her team, no matter the cost.
"It's good to see you too Hellie. Hey Sam, Eric, Kinzie." He called out to the other three, all of whom returned the greeting, having met the younger man last summer when Callen had shown him around.
"What do you need me for G?" Clark asked a few moments later in the briefing room; Callen sighed, and gestured for Eric to pull up the op details.
"We have information that a known terrorist cell is using Metropolis as a base to get unknown weapons into the country. Now usually we would just pull an undercover op with one of us posing as a seller or an informant, but they're using a specific seller for the weapons, and he won't let anyone through that he dosen't know, which is why we need you."
"Who's the seller?"
"Morgan Edge."
"That's not possible. He's dead."
"Well if he was, he's not anymore. Now given your dealings with him in Metropolis, we were hoping you could get into his good graces, and uncover the terrorist cell."
"What dealings?" Eric asked, but Callen just shook his head; outside of the Kent's and himself, there were only two other people who knew about Clark's powers and he wasn't about to tell anyone, not even his team.
"I think I can do that. However, I'm going to need someone else to go undercover with me."
Callen just smiled before opening the door behind him, and revealing Washington D.C. based Mossad officer Ziva David.
"I think we have that covered Clark." Ziva told him, before she walked over and kissed him, both of them laughing when they broke the kiss and saw the looks of shock on everyone's faces, save for Callen who knew of the two's relationship. They had met shortly before Clark and Callen, when a dead marine by the name of Whitney Fordman showed up in Smallville, apparently alive. Gibbs and his team had been sent to investigate. Ziva had ended up saving Clark from the false marine, who turned out to be a shape shifter named Tina Greer who was obsessed with Lana, by stabbing her in the back with a pipe. The two had been seeing each other ever since, both she and Gibbs learning about Clark's powers when he had healed from the wounds Tina had given him, Gibbs arriving just as it occurred. They both accepted that he was an alien and both had kept his secret ever since.
"What the hell is going on Callen?" Kinzie asked, but Callen just shook his head again, not answering her question.
"Now Director Vance has approved this, and we've already got you set up in your old penthouse. A change of clothes and I.D. for Ziva, and clothes for you are waiting. Is there anything else you need?"
Clark grinned as he looked Callen in the eye.
"Yeah. What do you have that's fast?"
