A/N: hey guys...so uhh yes I'm alive lol...I figured it was time to give a bit of a life update as well as a story update. I'll start with life. So I'm currently looking for a full time job or at least a job that gets me out of retail because coming January, I'll have one or two shifts a week. I got an email from one of the libraries asking if i was still interested in a position I applied for over a month ago so fingers cross I get it...even if it is part time. It could always change to full time. My end goal is to become a full time writer.
Back in September (2 days before my bday actually), my sister got engaged to her bf of...I think 4 years...I honestly don't remember. She asked me and her childhood best friend to be her maid of honor so I'm excited about that. I graduated college and got my AA degree in late October.
Now to the mental part. I'm still continuing to struggle with anxiety and I am going to therapy about it. At my last session, my therapist told me to go on a different anxiety pill than the one I was on since that one wasn't working for me. So two days later, I went to the doctors and told him everything I was feeling and luckily he said this was normal. A lot of people have been going through the same thing especially with how this year is going. But he still gave me a paper test asking me questions of what's been going on the passed two weeks and...I've been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). It honestly gave me a bit of relief knowing that what I've been feeling isn't just in my head or how I'm just overthinking or overreacting. The doctor prescribed me pills to help with that. They honestly make me tired and sleep more during the day a bit, but it's only been a week and I saw this was normal. But I have a followup appointment mid December so we'll see how this goes. I've also started writing in a journal when I feel anxious too. So you don't need to worry because I'm getting the help I nee
Now then, story update. I'm honestly stuck in a writer's block patch with everything going on. This goes for both this story and a Steven Universe AU I'm writing. However, I'm hoping to get this story up and running again soon. I don't make any promises, but I'm hoping to start writing this story again maybe January or February. But like I said, I make no promises. I'm also thinking of possibly making a Discord server for this story so I can keep up to date so I don't have to constantly update here. If you're interested in that, let me know and I can make it and let you guys know either here or in dms. But I am hoping to get this story up and running again since I feel it's long overdue.
