I'm doing Teen Titans Go. Why are you all leaving? What do you mean this horse is basically dead and beaten to the other side of the planet?
"TEAM!"
Robin stood in front of the other Titans, "Today, we will twerk!"
Cyborg grinned, "YOU MEAN THE BUTT DANCE?!"
"Yes."
The Titans started to twerk as a young woman named Karen watched, "What an innocent show to show to my kids."
The tv turned to commercials and showed Ruby and Sapphire's marriage. Karen's jaw dropped, "Gays? In a cartoon aimed at children?! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!"
Karen jumped out the window, screeching loudly as she ran towards the direction she thought Cartoon Network's headquarters. However, she lived in New York and CN's studio is in Georgia.
Remember when everyone called TTG the worst thing ever? God, I wish that were true.
Don't get me wrong. I think this show is trash, but it's not the worst thing ever.
Let's talk about the only thing anyone talks about this show for anymore. CN's favoritism towards it.
CN never stops playing it. Not a single day passes. Yes, they have gotten better with this, but it still sucks.
Regular Show's finale had a TTG marathon surrounding it and, if I remember correctly, Adventure Time had a similar situation.
Recently CN dropped the idea for a show called Trick Moon. It's been said that it's due to corporate restrictions, but I think it's TTG related and how CN won't let anything else air aside from TTG.
If it wasn't for CN airing the show like there was no tomorrow, nobody would talk about this show.
How do I know that? Because this show is super boring.
I was not prepared for how dull this show really is. I only watched through some episodes with my much younger brother, but I was not expecting this show to be so dull. Even my brother doesn't care for it. I don't even remember why we were watching it to be honest.
Curiosity maybe.
The comedy is very one-note. It's characters doing stupid stuff or trying and failing to sound smart.
All the characters are the same. Raven is kind of the straight man in some episodes, but, more often than not, she's just as dumb or does random stuff like everyone else. Even when she's the straight man, it's not really played for comedy.
One thing I can say that's positive is that I haven't seen any episodes that are random events.
When an episode chooses to be about something, they'll stick to it.
Aside from that, there's nothing I can take away from this show.
Much like the Harley Quinn cartoon, this show doesn't seem to want to know what it is.
Does it want to be a stupid show for kids or does it want to be a show about 80's music and such?
The main defense for this show is that it's made to be a dumb show for kids, but the one episode that people point to when people say the show isn't bad is an episode about 80's music.
Kids are not going to get what this show says most of the time. Their 'Take that critics' episodes are the biggest offenders of this.
This show teaches a lot of sarcastic morals, but the primary demographic this show aims for isn't going to get that they are sarcastic.
This show also has a lot of twerking in it. More than you'd think would be acceptable for a kids show.
I THINK this was in response to reactions to that one episode of the Powerpuff Girls reboot, but it's just….I'm not sure what to say about it.
It's gross that they're putting it in a kids show. NO MORE TWERKING IN KID SHOWS!
It was gross in PG '16 and it's gross here.
And like the parody illustrates, parents will be A-Okay with this. However, if a show has gay characters, they will burn it with fire.
Like I said, this show isn't the worst, but it is not good.
I still do think this show is bad. I think it's in the top ten worst CN shows.
The only thing everyone knows this show for now is how adored it is by CN and I have a feeling this show isn't going to last much longer.
I wanted to be nice to this show and I don't remember it being boring, but it's just not interesting. Not even in a bad way and I'm sure that history is going to thoroughly erase it.
