AN: This particular pairing owes its existence to my plans someone else said to me. Enjoy.
Christopher Lair was well aware that he was going through puberty. He knew all the icky details about having a crush. He had seen several of his friends fall in love. (Including a rather disgusting case where his friend Kieran had declared his undying love for Chris's older sister Irma. That was just icky, especially as Irma was very much in love with her girlfriend Cornelia.) He had decided that he was never going to be so icky and gross and fall in love with someone so much older than him. Especially not one of his sister's friends. That would just be weird.
"Chris, you're staring," Lillian said and he glared at her. She simply shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly. "You are."
"Am not!" he shot back and she snorted.
"You're not exactly subtle," she replied and he glared at her. "Your tongue was practically hanging out of your mouth."
Chris felt his face turn red and not for the first time he wondered why he was friends with her.
"She's just a really beautiful, really sexy girl," he said as he turned to glare at Lillian. (He wanted to add that he thought she was irresistably sexily dressed, but as Will was wearing a pair of jeans and plain, loose t-shirt, it didn't seem like the right thing to say.) "I'm a hormonal teenaged boy. Why wouldn't I notice her? I notice all hot girls like that!"
Lillian glared at him and he suddenly realised his mistake. Much like her sister, boys flocked to her. And like her sister, she liked to dress nicely. Today she was wearing a light blue cloth jacket, white sleeveless top and tight black trousers with the hope of attracting the attention of her own crush.
"So you're saying that I'm not hot then?" she demanded and Chris rolled his eyes.
"You know that I didn't mean it like that!" he protested. She stormed off and Chris sighed. Yes she was a beautiful girl, but she wasn't Will.
He gave himself a shake. This was ridiculous. Will was graduating high school soon and he had told himself that he wasn't going to fall for any of his sister's friends. Not at all!
Still his gaze was drawn back to her. An irresistible pull that he couldn't explain.
But no. He wasn't falling in love with Will. No. Absolutely not!
