Smallville Kansas-2010

"You understand don't you? There's no way that I can guarantee that this will work, and even if it does-"

"The minute we interact with him history will change, and our knowledge of the future won't be reliable. You told us this already."

"Some things will stay the same while others will obviously change we know." A second voice said, and the woman nodded her head.

"Just-"

"Be careful. We know Zee, but you also know that we have to do this." A third voice said, and Zatanna nodded her head once.

"I know. Good luck."

"You should know by now that we don't do luck."

The magician just smiled in response before whispering a spell which would hopefully fix the bleak future they had been left in.

Smallville Kansas-2000

"I would advise you to unhand him. Now."

Clark groaned as he heard the woman's voice, unable to even lift his head because of Lana's meteor rock necklace around his neck. He knew it was stupid to get into a fight with Whitney, but in his defense he had had a rough couple days. First there was him saving Lex, which still confused him. He had saved the man, but someone or something had pulled him out of the way before Lex had hit him. He had never seen who it was, and he decided he must have imagined it. Or at least he tried to. Deep down, he knew that someone else had been there, but he hadn't said anything to anyone. After all, he didn't need his parents more worried than they already were. And now, just because he had one conversation with Lana Whitney wanted to tie him up like a scarecrow, and thanks to the meteor rock around his neck he couldn't do a thing to stop them.

"Who are you?"

"My name does not matter. What does is the world of pain you will be in unless you leave him be. Now."

Even through his pain, Clark could tell that the woman meant business. However, it seemed that Whitney and his friends couldn't understand because they just laughed. A moment later Clark heard shouts of pain and then found himself looking into a pair of beautiful brown eyes as she took the meteor rock necklace off and pocketed it.

"Thank you. What happened to them?" He asked as he took in Whitney and his friends, all of whom were unconscious on the ground.

"I warned them. They chose not to heed my warning."

"It was just a prank."

"That is a lie, and we both know it. Tying someone to a tree is not a prank. In Israel it would be considered torture. Now come with me."

"Who are you?" He asked as he stood up and followed her over to her car.

"Ziva David." She replied, shaking his hand.

"I'm Clark Kent." He said, and she smiled softly. She actually looked a little sad to him.

"I know. Get in, I will give you a lift."

"That's really not-"

"Get in." She repeated firmly, and he nodded his head in resignation before getting in the car.

"So, are you new in town?" He asked, and she nodded.

"I am on vacation actually. I work as a Mossad liaison officer for NCIS over in D.C." She replied, and he tensed slightly at her words.

"Do not worry. I promise you that nothing you tell me will be repeated. After all, I do not think you need everyone to know that you are allergic to meteor rock."

"Thank you Ziva."

"You are welcome Clark. But can you do one thing for me?" She asked, and he nodded.

"Always carry a knife. Just in case." She said, handing him one. He wondered where she had gotten it, but then shrugged. He supposed she always carried them, having spent a good deal of her life in Israel.

"Ziva, you said that you knew who I was? How?"

"That is a very complicated story Clark. For now, can I ask you to trust that I am your friend? I promise that I will explain, but I am not ready just yet."

Clark hesitated. Ziva obviously knew who he was, and she had deduced that he was allergic to meteor rock, but she had also saved him from becoming this year's scarecrow and had promised not to talk about him to anyone else. He knew his parents particularly his father would warn against trusting her, but Clark found that he did.

"Alright Ziva. I trust you. But now can I ask you to do one thing for me?" He asked, and she nodded.

"Can you teach me how to use this thing?" He asked, holding the knife. She laughed, but readily agreed. A moment later they arrived at the Kent farm, making Clark wonder how she knew where he lived until he remembered her words from earlier.

"Thanks for the ride Ziva. Although, I don't think I caught your friend's name." He said as he looked into the seemingly empty back seat. A moment later Clark Kent found himself looking into the eyes of one of the most beautiful and famous women in the world.

"I'm Susan, Susan Storm."

"Okay, do either of you want to tell me whats-"

Clark's words were cut off as several dozen robots landed in front of the house, followed by a man in a green cloak and gray armor. Clark knew him from the news but had never met the man. Susan on the other hand had faced the man on more than one occasion.

"So, this is where the temporal rift came from. Did Richards send you to investigate Susan? Did he perhaps think to discover the source before Doom?!"

"We're talking once this is over." Clark said, and the two nodded.

"I'll give you one chance to leave peacefully." Clark said, and Doom laughed.

"You dare threaten DOOM?!"

"Yeah, I dare. Now get off my property before I embarrass you in front of the ladies."

"It's too late for that Clark. I mean, you did just take out all his robots in...two seconds." Susan said with a smirk, making Clark laugh in spite of the situation he found himself in.

"Now surrender." Ziva said, and Doom laughed again.

"Not today. However, I am sure that we will meet again." He said as he turned and fired a blast of energy at the house, setting it ablaze. Clark glared but raced over to the house, grabbing his parents and racing them back outside just in time to see Doom escape.

"Son, what the hell is going on? And who are your friends?"

"I am Ziva David, and this is Susan Storm. We are not Clark's friends exactly."

"Then what are you two exactly? More importantly what do you want with me?" Clark asked calmly.

"Well I guess our plan just got shot to hell." A woman said as she landed beside them.

"You could say that. Victor showed up."

"That explains the robots. Although he couldn't have waited a few months?"

"Apparently not. Now how about you all explain what it is you want with my son." Jonathan spoke up, making the three women laugh.

"Of course Mr. Kent. My name is Ororo Monroe and I am a mutant and teacher at Xavier's School for the Gifted up in Westchester New York. I would like to offer your son a place in that school."

"Now why do I have the feeling there's more to it than that?" Clark asked, and Ororo smiled and nodded.

"That's because there is. I would suggest you all sit down."

"Miss Monroe-"

"Ororo." She corrected, and Clark nodded.

"Ororo believe me with all the surprises I've gotten today, I highly doubt that much else could shock me."

"Ziva, Susan and I are not merely your friends Clark. We are also your wives."

"I stand corrected, consider me shocked."

"So I can safetly assume that you didn't know about this son?" Jonathan said and Clark laughed.

"Dad, let's be serious for a minute….if I had known about the fact that I was married to three beautiful and dangerous women do you really think that I would only be telling you now?" He asked rhetorically.

"So, I'm guessing you already know our little secret?" Jonathan asked, surprised to see the sky darkening in response. Clark looked over and saw Ororo seemingly shaking with anger and he quickly took her hand, unsure of what else to do.

"Ororo, calm down. Everything's fine, just calm down." He said softly, seeing the clouds vanish a moment later.

"I'm sorry about that, but everything is not fine Clark. You being isolated on this farm having to hide your powers and pretend to be something you're not is not okay."

"Ororo's right Clark. You shouldn't have to hide your gifts." Susan said, and Clark scoffed.

"Gifts? More like a curse." He muttered only for Ziva to slap him across the face.

"Do not ever say that! If it was not for this 'curse' as you call it none of us would have met in the first place. If it was not for your gifts I…"

She stopped speaking, seemingly unable to say anything as her eyes began to fill with tears. Before he knew what he was doing Clark had wrapped her in a hug, pulling her close.

"Ziva, it's okay I promise you it is going to be okay." He whispered softly. In truth he wasn't sure what to think. He had just found out he was an alien, and then he nearly gets tied to a tree by Whitney, saved by a beautiful woman who then explains that she and two other women were his wives. All in all, it was a strange day, even by Smallville standards.

However, he also knew that whatever shock he may have aside, there was no way he would let Ziva, Ororo or Susan be harmed.

"Speak of the devil." Susan said, seeing Ziva pull out her phone as it went off, her eyes darkening as she saw the number.

"Eli David, Director of Mossad and Ziva's father. He's also the reason that she was put in danger in the first place. He called her for an undercover op and her cover got blown. She was captured, but her father refused to get her out, saying one agent's life wasn't worth that. The things that they did to her before you found her…"

Clark turned at the sound of the voice, seeing a girl who looked to be about his age, with long black hair and blue eyes. Aside from the eyes she could have been a miniature version of Ziva; the thought made Clark turn his attention back to Ziva, who was now talking loudly in Hebrew. Clark couldn't understand what she was saying, but from her body language Clark knew that it wasn't anything good. He walked over to her and held out his hand for the phone, making Ziva frown. However, he just looked at her until she handed him the phone.

"Director David?" He asked, cutting the man off.

"Yes? Who is this? Put my Agent back on the-"

"That's not going to happen. Now don't say a word, just shut up and listen. As of right now, Ziva David is off limits. If you or any of your people come near her they will die very painful deaths. This is your only warning." He said before slamming the phone shut and handing it back to Ziva, who was looking at him in shock.

"Son do you-"

His words were cut off as Ziva's eyes narrowed as they landed on the girl who had just spoken.

"TALI ALICIA KENT, what are you doing here?!"

"I wasn't about to let you have all the fun mom. Hi dad, long time no see." She said to Clark who promptly passed out.
