Hey Guest who reviewed this morning, Happy Birthday!

Thanks to everyone who has reviewed!

Kat was walking the streets of New York late at night, trying to find somewhere to sleep and lay low. It wasn't smart, to get into the middle of this agency's battle, for lack of better description. Maybe she should just leave New York, there's nothing left here for her anyway.

"Thinking of leaving? I have a place you can go." Said a woman behind her. Kat spun around in shock.

"Who are you?" asked Kat.

"A friend of Dottie's." said the woman.

"What's your name?" asked Kat.

"Lucy." Said the woman.

"Where's Dottie?" asked Kat. Lucy didn't answer.

"Where is this place I can go?" asked Kat.

"You ask a lot of questions." Said Lucy.

"Why don't you answer them?" asked Kat.

"Dottie is gone, you won't see her again, I'm afraid." Said Lucy.

"Why? I don't understand. What were those screams I heard, at the factory?" asked Kat.

"I don't know what you mean! You must have imagined those screams." Said Lucy with a sickly sweet smile. Kat could tell she was lying.

"What is this place I can go?" asked Kat again, hoping for some answers.

"A school, in Russia. It's where Dottie and I learned everything we know. It's called Черная Вдова. I can take you there, you will be respected, you will learn to survive and to be whoever you want to be. Come with me and I will take you there." said Lucy.

"I'm not interested in going anywhere with you." Said Kat. Catching Lucy by surprise, Kat kicked her in the shins and ran off. Now she really needed to find somewhere to hide.

Howard Stark was sitting in a chair, in front of him was a desk with several blank pieces of paper on it.

"Tell us, what mark 15 is." Said Zola. He wasn't in the room, his voice was coming through a speaker on the wall.

"Why do you want to know?" asked Howard.

"I have my reasons, they are not your concern. What is mark 15?" asked Zola.

"If you don't know what it is then how do you know if you need it?" asked Howard.

"Again, not your concern." Said Zola.

"Where is Peggy Carter? Give me some proof that she is alive, and that you followed through on your promise to let her go." Said Howard.

"Let her go? We were never going to let her go. The last time I saw your 'Peggy', she was with Dottie. Haven't seen either of them in days. I assume she is dead." said Zola.

"No..." said Howard, tears beginning to run down his face.

"Tell me about mark 15, and maybe I can find out what happened to Miss. Carter. Maybe I will tell you what happened to Captain Steve Rogers, why you have never found him, despite your admirable efforts and countless searches." Said Zola.

"You can't possibly know anything about that." Said Howard.

"How would you know what I know? I can answer every question you have ever had, all you have to do is answer mine." Said Zola.

"Mark 15, it was designed to be a component of Project Rebirth. We made one super soldier, I wanted to make more. It was just a prototype, it didn't work." Said Howard.

"How was it supposed to work?" asked Zola.

"Tell me something first." Said Howard.

"Ivchenkov and I told Dottie she could do whatever she wanted with Carter." Said Zola.

"Mark 15 was supposed to take Steve Rogers' blood and separate the serum from it so we could replicate the serum and inject it into more subjects." Said Howard.

"But it didn't work?" asked Zola.

"No it destroyed one of the last remaining samples we had." Said Howard.

"Can you fix it?" asked Zola.

"Tell me something else." said Howard.

"Sargent Barnes is not dead." said Zola.

"Yes he is, he fell a couple hundred feet." Said Howard.

"Did you ever find a body?" asked Zola.

"Well, no." said Howard.

"Exactly. Can you fix mark 15?" Asked Zola.

"If I had the prototype with me." Said Howard.

"That can be arranged, goodbye." Said Zola.

Peggy Carter woke up when she heard people walking around. She got up slowly, trying not to aggravate her injuries.

"Hey English, glad you're awake, finally." Said Angie

"Angie! Aren't you supposed to be in Philadelphia?" asked Peggy, giving her friend a hug.

"My father beat me to it, I lasted five minutes into another lecture about how I should become a secretary and give up on the acting when I just up and walked out, after promising my brother that I would keep in touch." Said Angie.

"I'm sorry Angie." Said Peggy.

"Don't be, here, I brought you a suitcase full of clothes." Said Angie.

"Did you go back to Stark's to get these?" asked Peggy, Angie nodded.

"Agent Thompson escorted me." Said Angie.

"Thank you, what time is it how long have I been asleep?" asked Peggy.

"It's around lunchtime, I've been here for about three hours, everyone else longer than that. You have no idea how hard it's been to keep Daniel from coming back here to check on you every five minutes." Said Angie.

"I think I'll go change, it's been a while since I've been able to." Said Peggy.

"You do that, I'll go tell everyone you're awake." Said Angie.

"Thank you." Said Peggy.

"You already said that English. Go, get changed because you smell horrible." Said Angie before leaving the room.

"She's awake, getting changed now." said Angie.

"That's good." Said Jack.

'How's she feeling?" asked Daniel.

"I don't know, I didn't ask. She didn't seem to be in too much pain, at least not as much as she was yesterday." Said Angie.

"Good." Said Daniel.

"Yeah so I don't know about you boys, but I'm starving, and I'm sure Peggy is too so I am going to the L&L Automat for food and coffee, I'll be back in a bit." Said Angie, grabbing her coat off Peggy's desk.

"I'll go with you." Said Jack, Angie nodded. The two left the SSR together.

"There's something going on between them, isn't there?" asked Peggy as she entered the room.

"He hasn't breathed a word about it, if there is." Said Wallace.

"Good morning Agent Carter, actually it's the afternoon. Sleep well?" asked Smith.

"Very, thank you." Said Peggy.

"You look a lot better than you did yesterday." Said Smith.

"Several hours of sleep will do that. But you should have woken me up sooner." Said Peggy.

"Thought we'd let you sleep, you deserved it, after the week you've had." Said Daniel, smiling at her.

"Any leads on Howard?" asked Peggy.

"No, but Jarvis called, said he found something on mark 15. It was meant to be able to replicate the serum from Project Rebirth using Captain Roger's blood. Also the prototype has been stolen." Said Daniel.

"Did it work, I mean if they have the ability to create more super soldiers, they could get an army, and all loyal to Hydra, we wouldn't be able to fight them.

"It doesn't matter, there are no remaining samples of Steve Rogers blood. The one I had is probably in the Atlantic Ocean by now." said Peggy.

"When?" asked Daniel.

"I let him go the evening of the almost attack on New York, before I met up with Angie." Said Peggy.

"Do Zola and Ivchenkov know that there are no remaining samples?" asked Smith.

"Doubtful, at least I never told them, and I'm positive that no one was following me." Said Peggy.

"I don't understand, what do they need Stark for?" asked Wallace.

"Information, and there's really only one thing that will make him give anything up." Said Peggy.

"What's that?" asked Daniel.

"Information on the people he cares about; me, and Steve." Said Peggy.

"What information could they possibly have? Zola was in jail not too long ago and you found Ivchenkov in Russia." Said Daniel.

"I don't know, that's what worries me." Said Peggy, just then her phone rang.

"Hello?" asked Peggy as she picked up the receiver.

"Let her in." said Peggy after a moment.

"Who is it?" asked Daniel.

"Kat is back." Said Peggy.

"What? Well that wasn't expected." Said Daniel.

"I have information!" said the orphan as she bounded into the room.

"How did you get this information?" asked Peggy.

"There's another woman, like Dottie, she approached me, tried to sell me on some school in Russia. She said that I could become just like her and Dottie." Said Kat.

"Did she tell you the name of this school?" asked Daniel.

"She said it's called Черная Вдова." Said Kat.

"Black Widow." Translated Peggy.

"The spider who eats her mates. Appropriate." Said Smith.

"She offered you a spot in the school?" asked Daniel.

"I declined, of course. Thing is I have nowhere to go, I don't want her to find me again." Said Kat.

"Don't worry, she won't." said Daniel.
