A/N: So I've started watching Scandal (only on season 2), and I remember Jonathan Kent ran for the Senate. For the sake of the story, he is running for a position in the United States Senate as opposed to the state house of Kansas.

Kent Farm- One month before the primary

"Dammit. Dammit. Dammit. Thanks for the heads up Jim. I owe you." Lois Lane said as she slammed her phone shut.

"Son of a bitch. Son of a bitch, I can't believe him."

"What is it Lois?" Jonathan Kent asked as he walked into the house, taking off his gloves as he did so. Lois allowed herself a small smile. Even with the election, her boss still found time to take care of the farm.

"Oh nothing much Mr. Kent. We're just a month away from the primary, a week and a half away from the last primary debate, ten points behind in the polls, and Lionel is set to release his newest attack ad in primetime tonight. Not to mention that I haven't heard from Smallville in almost a week, and I am feeling seriously overwhelmed. If we don't pull off a miracle then-"

"Then it's a good thing I brought the miracle worker with me." Clark Kent said as he walked into the house.

Lois's eyes widened as she saw the man in front of her. Gone were the jeans and plaid shirts. Instead, Clark wore a charcoal grey suit with a blue button down shirt and navy tie. But when she looked at the person next to Clark, her jaw dropped. She'd been to enough events in Washington with the General to know who the woman in the black suit was.

"You're-"

"Olivia Pope. It's good to meet you Miss Lane, Mr. Kent. Mr. Kent, Clark tells me you could use some help. I think he's right, and I will give it to you. But under one condition. You do what I say, when I say it. Do we have an agreement?"

A/N: So there we have it. A teaser of sorts for my next potential story. I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
