I AM SO SORRY.

I finally graduated high school and picked a college.

I'm not busy anymore (except I work 40 hrs/week) I just have a ton of writers block.

Season 2 was great, I'm sad there won't be a season 3.

Starting off with a new character (working theory, I'll explain more at the end)

BTW, the 'w' key on my keyboard is stuck so if i accidentally miss one occasionally and I don't catch it, I apologize.

I can't stop listening to disney soundtracks. Don't judge me.

Also, I'm guessing with the dates.

1943

Michael woke up in the middle of a strange dream. MIchael blinked a few times, and the fog lifted. Looking around, he couldn't recognize his surroundings. Where was he?

"Look! The soldier's awake!" came a heavily accented female voice from behind him. Michael turned swiftly to see a heavyset woman with a rag holding her hair back wearing a grey dress rushing towards him.

"Where am I?" asked Michael.

"Yugoslavia," answered the woman.

"How long have I been here?"

"Three weeks,"

"How did I get here?"

"Don't know. I went to bed one night and the next morning you were on the street. Moved you here, and here you've been," said the woman.

"Strange. The last thing I remember...I was fighting in a battle...I don't know, Michael replied, closing his eyes as he tried to remember more.

"What's your name?" asked the woman.

"Michael,"

"Michael what?"

"Nothing, just Michael," he said.

"Are you sure?" asked the woman.

"Quite sure,"

Thompson sighed as he finished his work for the day, knowing again that he had nowhere to go that night and he hadn't really accomplished anything that day. Stark was still missing, and the longer the Russians or Leviathon or whatever this thing was had him...the more dangerous the situation became. Grabbing his coat and his hat, Thompson headed out on his own. He passed Angie on the stairs, she stared him defiantly in the eye, as if daring him to even try and ask her out again, he rushed past her and out of the building.

Angie walked in as Thompson was headed out for the night, she shook her head slightly at the sight he made, a grown ass man running away from a woman like her, just because she turned him down. Walking into the bullpen, Angie headed straight for Peggy, unaware of the man following behind her.

"Peg! I need to tell you something!" she said.

"And what might that be?" said the man behind her.

"Colonel Phillips! What a surprise," said Peggy, jumping up from her chair.

"Yes hello, was that your Chief I just saw leaving?"

"Yes sir, that was Chief Thompson," answered Peggy

"Colonel Phillips? The Colonel Phillips?" asked Angie at the same time.

"Not very professional, a chief leaving first before everyone else," remarked Colonel Phillips.

"He's had a rough day," supplied Peggy.

"Oh? What happened?" asked Colonel Phillips.

"I turned him down when he asked me to get a drink with him,"

"Really? That's all? That's his 'rough day'? Good God. A man like that should not run an SSR Office," said Colonel Phillips.

"Not to mention he's taken credit for things he didn't do and he froze up and nearly died in Russia," said Daniel, walking up to the group.

"That settles it. He's hereby fired as Chief, he can stay on as Agent if the new chief lets him," said Colonel Phillips.

"Who's the new Chief?" asked Angie.

"What's your name, young man?" asked Colonel Phillips, turning to Daniel.

"I'm Agent Daniel Sousa, sir, it's an honor," said Daniel.

"I've heard good things about you. You're the new Chief," said Colonel Phillips.

"What? Me? But Peg-Agent Carter, has twice the qualifications I have and is very capable," protested Daniel.

"I know that but I need her free for something else I'm planning, so Daniel, I'm promoting you. Enjoy and don't screw up," said Colonel Phillips.

"Uh sir? Could you give me more information on what you have planned for me?" Peggy asked his retreating form.

"Not at the moment, find Stark, then we'll talk," said Colonel Phillips, then he was gone.

"Well congratulations Chief," said Peggy.

"Of all the things to happen today, that was the least expected," said Daniel.

"But very well deserved," said Peggy.

"Thank you," said Daniel, blushing.

The next day, Thompson walked into his office to find Daniel at his desk.

"You're late, Thompson," said Sousa, not looking up from his work.

"What the hell are you doing in my office Sousa?" asked Thompson.

"It's my office now. Colonel Phillips stopped by yesterday, after you left early, and he wasn't too impressed with how you were running things. So you were demoted and I was promoted," said Daniel.

"Are you kidding me with this?" asked Thompson. Just then Peggy knocked on the door.

"Chief Sousa? Do you have a minute?" she asked, an all too innocent smile on her face.

"Of course, please come in, Agent Carter. Agent Thompson, would you excuse us?" asked Daniel.

"This isn't over," said Thompson before storming out of the office.

"Sorry, did I catch you at a bad time?" asked Peggy.

"No, you timed it perfectly, as you know," said Daniel, smirking.

"How'd you know?" asked Peggy, smiling back.

"I didn't close the blinds and I have a clear view of your desk from here. It's a very nice view," said Daniel.

"Ah, I see. Well my view was pretty good, but not so much anymore," said Peggy, Daniel chuckled and stood up. Daniel put his arms around Peggy's waist, pulled her close and kissed her.

"How are you?" he asked, Peggy smiled and kissed him again, clasping her hands around his neck.

"I'm great," she was about to kiss him again when Angie barged into the office without knocking.

"I found something!" she exclaimed until she noticed the compromising position her friend was caught in.

"Oops, sorry, I should have knocked," she said.

I know it's shorter than normal, but I wanted to get this up tonight and it's getting late.

The theory, I think Michael Carter is still alive, or at least he survived the war long enough to get married and have kids. The only fact I have to base this on is that Peggy and Michael were the only two kids we saw in the flashback, and Sharon Carter was said to be Peggy's great-niece, the only way she'd be peggy's great niece was if Peggy had a nephew with the last name Carter. And the only way Peggy would have a nephew with the last name Carter would be if Michael had a son.

I'll try and update soon, but I make no promises.

If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them!

'Till next time,
