A/N: So, Bonnie had that bomb dropped on her last week. If you happen to be a fellow AmourShipper, I suggest you check out my other fic that I update on Sundays called "An Amourshipping Reunion". Anyway, let's get right into it

I heard from Dawn that Ash, Clemont, and Max had left early. I was somewhat glad that I didn't have to talk to him, but I still wanted to.

"Why is this so confusing," I groaned.

"What did you do?"

I turned around to see May and Drew talking, May held up her hands in surrender.

"I only told her the truth," May said.

"Great job, you've ruined your brother's life," Drew said with heavy sarcasm.

"I say that I helped him, he would have never have done it on his own and she-" May gestured to me, "-would have never have figured it out on her own."

"She's got a point," I said.

"I hate it when you girls outnumber and gang up on me," Drew groaned.

"That's just what women do, Drew, we've been dating for five years, you should know this," May said.

I turned to look at Serena who had her back against a wall and holding a hand over her mouth, stifling laughs while watching the squabbling couple, Sylveon, who was standing next to her, even seemed to be trying not to laugh.

I turned back to Dawn and walked over to her.

"Ya know, they've been dating for five years and he still hasn't popped the question while it only took your brother two years to ask and have me accept," Dawn said.

I giggled, and she turned to me again.

"Shouldn't you get dressed, we're planning on heading out in about an hour," she said, I nodded and ran to my room.

I grabbed a yellow dress, black leggings that stopped at my knees, a red jacket that went over my dress, and had a yellow ribbon that was over my heart. The ribbon had been a gift from Max that I hadn't thought much of, until last night of course, and I couldn't help but wonder if this is how Serena felt when she decided to use the ribbon Ash had given her.

Dedenne sat on my shoulder and cheered, unlike Squishy, who was sleeping in my bag.

I ran downstairs.

"Alright, let's go, you need to be early," Dawn said.

I nodded and took off with Dawn. Serena, for obvious reasons, walked and May and Drew weren't running as fast as Dawn and I.

"Pip Piplup," Piplup, who was being held in one arm by Dawn, protested, uncomfortable with the speed we were going.

"Quit your whining, Piplup, you could be in your Pokeball," Dawn said, Piplup quit complaining really fast after that.

We burst into the box as soon as we got there, causing Clemont and Max to flinch. We were both breathing hard. May, Drew, and Serena came in after us.

"How?" Dawn panted.

"I guess you guys weren't running as fast as you thought," Serena said.

We both groaned.

"Hey, shouldn't you get going?"

I turned around.

"Yeah," Max said.

"Good luck," I said, I noticed his blush that time.

"Thanks," he said, and I felt my face get hot.

After he left, I could've sworn I heard someone high-five.

I sat next to Serena.

"You okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, I could've sworn I heard someone high-five after he left," I said.

Serena seemed to mull over my words before responding, "Oh, that was Clemont and May."

I groaned, "Why?" I asked.

She looked shocked and Ash looked at me in confusion for a second before turning away.

"What?"

Serena blinked a few times, "Did you not realize that you were blushing?"

"I was what?"

Serena nodded, and at that moment, everything clicked. I had dismissed my crush as admiration for my best friend and his gifts, praise, and support as him being a good friend because I didn't want to be rejected, so I convinced myself I never had a crush on him in the first place.

I focused on the announcer.

"Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, to the second day of this year's Kalos League. Today will be the day who is the strongest of all of our competitors. Now, for the first semi-final match of the day, please welcome Trent from Oldale Town!"

The arena cheered, as was normal, but my second glance at the arena revealed fans of Max were actually booing Trent, and he wasn't happy about it. I smirked.

"And his opponent, please give a warm welcome to the son of the Petalburg City Gym Leader, Max Maple!"

The arena erupted into cheers, the crowd seemed ten times louder than when Trent walked on to the battlefield. Trent was furious at this fact, you could see the anger on his face, and it was only more obvious when Max walked out. He carried himself with an air of confidence, not because he was overconfident, but so he could make Trent angrier and less focused. His Gym Badge on his collar was shining in the sunlight, everything irked Trent, all part of Max's plan.

"So, we both know she's watching," he turned and seemed to stare directly at me, Serena rested her hand on my shoulder to reassure me.

"I'm sure you're here to impress her, but you are going to crash right back down to earth, I'll win and face the Champion and I'll win that title and you'll lose everything," Trent yelled to Max who simply crossed his arms and smirked, which only made Trent tremble with anger, he knew Max was stronger and his plan to intimidate him had failed, he was terrified to lose.

"I made a commitment at the beginning of this competition, and I intend to honor it, Trent," Max said calmly.

Trent roared in anger.

"AERODACTYL!" He screamed, he was so loud that even Ash flinched.

"VIKAVOLT!" Max yelled.

A/N: So, that was an action-packed final bit, you can expect an epic battle next week, changing perspectives, action-packed sequences. I'm even excited to start writing it. So, see y'all next week.
