So many people have said that the helmet Ozpin has is the Meta's. I want to let everyone know that IT IS NOT THE META'S. It is actually Agent Wyoming's helmet. If you wish to know how the helmet got to Remnant, go read DocTokuma's RvBvRWBY story.

Anyways, enjoy the chapter!

Chapter 8: Painting the Town Red

Remnant, Continent of Sanus, Snow Gulch

POV: The Reds and Blues

Premise: The Reds and Blues' latest mission to stop Torchwick nearly has them cross paths with Team RWBY.

Caboose leaned against the side of the Reds and Blues' new ship: The Prowler, which Lopez had finished repairing finally. He was loading ammo into his assault rifle.

"AMMO CAPACITY AT 100%." Freckles announced

"Good." Caboose said happily, as he took notice of everyone walking up to the ship.

"Lopez did you finish working on the ship?" Sarge asked the robot

"[Yes.]" Lopez replied, "[It took me fucking forever. I expect a large payment in return.]"

"Well that's gonna be tuff." Grif muttered, "Someone go get me Wash's wallet."

"You're not stealing money from Wash's wallet again." Carolina protested

"Aw come on!" Grif whined, "Why not?"

"Wash is already going through enough shit." Carolina hissed at him, "Give the guy a break."

"Fine." Grif sighed

"Speaking of Wash." Carolina continued while looking at Tucker, "Are you sure you don't need me on this mission."

"We need someone to look after Wash." Tucker explained, "You're the best candidate for this."

"What if you need me?" Carolina questioned

"We got this." Simmons assured

"When have we ever let you and Wash down?" Grif questioned

Everyone was silent for a moment.

"...After saying that, I realized we have let you down." Grif muttered

"Yep." Carolina chuckled, "Alright, I'll stay here."

"Shall we go over the mission again?" Sarge asked everyone

"Yeah, let's do that." Doc answered

"Alright." Tucker said as he pulled out a map of the city of Vale, "Rumor has it that Torchwick will be at a White Fang rally in the City of Vale. I don't know exactly what he will be presenting, but something tells me it's bad."

"No shit dickhead." Simmons muttered

Tucker then continued, "Me, Caboose, Kai, and Sarge will be undercover at the rally. Once we get enough information, we'll pull out the red carpet."

"How are you going to get into the rally?" Locus questioned

"With these." Tucker replied, as he held up several White Fang uniforms, "Lopez, will be on reconnaissance. He'll be flying the Prowler and supply vehicles for us if necessary. Donut, Doc, Locus, you'll be gathering information from one of Torchwick business partners. The guy owns a nightclub in the shady part of Vale, so it shouldn't be a problem."

"Alright!" Donut shouted, "Double-O-Donut always gets his man!"

"Right." Doc muttered at Donut's comment

"Should we run into any trouble?" Locus asked the aqua soldier

"Nah." Tucker replied, "Probably not."

"What about me and Grif?" Simmons spoke up, "What are we supposed to do?"

"Well…"

POV Change: City of Vale

"This is fucking bullshit!" Grif hissed, "Donut gets to interrogate, Lopez gets to fly my ship, and the Blues get to raid a terrorist rally!? Am I the only one who is sane!?" Grif cried, as he and Simmons walked through the streets of Vale. Both were in regular clothes to hide their identities.

(A/N: I'm going into detail on their physical appearance or clothing yet.)

"Calm down Grif." Simmons said to him, "This shouldn't take too long."

Grif sighed, "So what exactly do we have to do?"

"Well, I managed to hack into the CCT Tower, which is kinda Remnant's satellite network." Simmons explained

"And?" Grif questioned

"I created a bug to plant into the CCT so we have better access to the more...classified information." Simmons ended

The two walked up to a large complex that was surrounding a tall tower.

"Hey we're here." Simmons muttered

"This is it?" Grif asked as they walked inside the tower

"Yeah." Simmons replied, "It's a lot bigger than I expected it to be."

"So how many towers are there exactly?" Grif asked his friend

"According to what intel I've gathered, there are four towers. One for each kingdom." Simmons replied

"And what do the towers do exactly?" Grif questioned

"It's like I said before." Simmons explained to him, "Its Remnant's satellite network. They establish global communication in order to keep the kingdom's in connection with one another."

"Wait." Grif muttered, "If one of the towers were to be shut down, destroyed, or out of order. Would that mean that there would be no connection between everyone?"

This stopped Simmons dead in his tracks, "Huh? Holy shit. I didn't think of that."

"Talk about flaws." Grif quipped as they made their way into an elevator to get to the communications room.

"I mean, why didn't they make orbital satellites?" Grif openly asked

"Well, these people survive off of dust, which if I remember, doesn't work outside of the atmosphere." Simmons explained, "So there's that."

Suddenly, the two heard a voice through the terminal that was inside the elevator.

"HELLO. WELCOME TO THE CCT. HOW MAY I HELP YOU?"

"Oh, uh we would like to go to the communications room please." Simmon answered

"ABSOLUTELY." the AI replied, "COULD YOU PLEASE PLACE YOUR SCROLL ON THE TERMINAL TO VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY?"

Grif looked at Simmons for an answer, "Dude we don't have scrolls. What do we do?"

"Relax." Simmons assured him, "I got this."

He walked up to the terminal and held out his wrist. His forearm was immediately covered with his armor's gauntlet, which displayed a holographic projection. He pushed several buttons before the gauntlet dispersed.

The terminal flickered slightly before the AI responded, "OVERRIDE CODE ACCEPTED. WELCOME."

The elevator started going up to the communications room. Grif looked at Simmons.

"Override codes." Simmons explained, "Made them myself."

"Nice."

POV Change: Donut, Doc, and Locus

The trio of soldiers walked up to the nightclub in downtown Vale. The guy they were looking for was apparently named 'Junior'. According to Simmons, Junior was a small time business associate of Torchwick, who hired some of Junior's goons for a local dust robbery. If he made a deal with Torchwick, then he was perfect to ask if he knew anything else about the criminal's operations in Vale.

"...and you're sure this is the place?" Donut asked his companions

"That's what Tucker told us." Doc replied

"I think it looks perfect!" O'Malley chimed in, "It's dark, out of sight from the rest of the city, and in a somewhat decent neighborhood. The perfect place for an evil lair! HAHHAHAHAHA!"

"Boy, you got some weird tastes." Doc muttered dryly

"Shut up!" O'Malley hissed

"Alright can it." Locus said to them, "Donut, stay here and watch for anything. O'Malley and I will do the talking."

"Can do." Donut replied

Locus and O'Malley entered the nightclub, and were surprised how dark it was in there. The only light that was present, came from several spotlights and neon lights that outlined most of the furniture. At the center of the club was a dance floor and bar. Booths with tables and seats were scattered around the room as well. Men clad in black suits with red ties and sidearms were present, along with two girls in red and white dresses.

"Well this Junior guy has a bad taste." Doc muttered quietly

"I hate clubs." Locus groaned, remembering an old mission with his partners Felix and Siris.

"Amen to that." O'Malley agreed with him, "Come on, let's find this Junior fella, and get out of here."

The two walked up to the bar where they saw a bartender standing behind the counter. He wore a white dress shirt, black suit vest and pants, and a red tie.

The two were about to sit down when the two girls they noticed upon entering stopped them.

"Out of our way." Locus muttered them darkly

"State your business, here." the red one demanded

"We just want to talk with your boss." Doc replied

"He's busy." the white one answered, "Leave at once."

Locus activated his energy sword-which gave off a dark blue color compared to Grif and Tucker's swords-as a sign of defense.

O'Malley then decided to speak, "If you intend to hold us against our will. I shall remove your eyes from both of your tiny skulls and replace them with ping pong balls, with similar eyes drawn on them!"

"Militia! Melanie! That's enough!' the bartender said to the girls, "I'll deal with them."

The girls looked at the bartender before looking back at Doc and Locus. The two then left for another section of the club.

Locus sheathed his energy sword and he and Doc proceeded to sit at the bar. The bartender smirked at them as he cleaned a glass.

"Never thought I would meet one of you fellas." he chuckled, "The vigilantes who've been sabotaging the White Fang operations outside of Vale. I'm flattered."

"So you know us?" O'Malley chuckled, "If you want an autograph, ask now."

"O'Malley, not now." Doc hissed at his alter-ego

"Shut up." O'Malley shot back

Locus then decided to speak, "We're here for information. I assume you're Junior?"

"In the flesh." the now identified Junior replied, "Although, I've never made any deals with the White Fang. I only led my men as mercenaries, and private security."

"We were wondering if you made any deals with Roman Torchwick." Doc explained

"Torchwick?" Junior muttered, "I haven't seen him in weeks. I know the guys dabells in the underworld these days, much more than I do. I owed him a favor and loaned several of my men to him for some operation he was on. None of them returned."

"What other deals did you make with him?" Locus asked

"Not much." Junior replied as he scratched his back, "Other than the occasional mercenary or two. Just weapons like pistols, shotguns, etc. I make my deals legal in order to fit Vale's laws."

"That was informative." Locus said to him, "Thank you."

Just then one of Junior's men shouted at his boss, "Hurry! Close the door!"

"What are you idiots doing!?" Junior shouted at his men

"Boss, it's her!" the merc replied

For Locus and Doc, they received a message from Donut.

"Uh, guys?" Donut said to them via radio

"Donut, what's going on?" Doc asked the pink soldier

"It's Yang." Donut replied, "She just showed up at the club. I'm hiding on the rooftop out of site."

"Ok, good sit tight." Doc said to him before getting off the radio

"It's Yang!" Doc shouted at Locus, "She's here!"

Junior overheard them, "Wait. Blondie? You know her?"

"Yeah." Doc replied, "It's a long story. But we need to hide!"

"Hide behind the bar." Junior said to them, "I'll deal with her."

"Ok, thanks." Doc replied before he and Locus jumped over the bar and hid underneath the counter.

"Quickly! Keep the door shut!" was one of many phrases shouted by the mercs as they tried to keep the door shut. Only for the door to blow off their hinges and send most of the men off their feet.

Yang then entered the bar without care, "Guess who's back!?"

The merc proceeded to point their weapons at her in defense. However, this didn't unfaze the brawler as she glared at the DJ booth. The DJ proceeded to turn off the music and hide from her sight.

Suddenly, a boy emerged from behind Yang. He had blue hair, a pair of goggles, and wore a red jacket and gray pants.

"Yeah, so could you define, 'friend'?" the boy said to Yang

"Stop, stop!" Junior shouted to his men, "Nobody shoot."

He then looked at Yang, "Blondie, you're here...why?"

"You still owe me a drink." Yang said to Junior before grabbing him by the arm over the bar. Completely unaware that Doc and Locus were hiding behind it.

The boy just looked at Yang, "Wow, what a woman…"

He then noticed both Militia and Melanie, "Sup?"

"Whatever." the girls said in unison before walking away from him

POV Change: CCT Tower

Grif and Simmons exited the elevator, and walked up to the desk that was in front of them. The room itself was quite big. Several terminals were there, either vacant or held a student or civilian in them. The symbols of each kingdom were displayed on a jumbotron just above the desk.

An hologram of a woman appeared at the desk, "WELCOME TO THE BEACON CROSS CONTINENTAL TRANSMIT SYSTEM. HOW MAY I HELP YOU?"

Simmons proceeded to press several buttons on his gauntlet. The hologram flickered slightly before responding.

"UNDERSTOOD. YOU MAY PROCEED WITH YOUR REPAIRS." the hologram said to them before disappearing.

The two walked over to a nearby terminal and sat down. Simmons pulled out a zip drive and then looked at Grif.

"Could you open the panel just underneath the terminal?" he asked him

"Yeah sure." Grif replied as he got on his knees and started to try and pry the panel off. He ended up jumping slightly when Simmons moved slightly, causing two to get into a quiet argument.

"Hey! That is not the control panel!" Simmons hissed quietly after Grif accidentally pushed against his groin.

"Sorry!" Grif muttered quietly, "I got it."

Grif managed to get the panel removed and Simmons proceeded to connect the zip drive. The screen on the terminal then showed an installation bar that read:

Update Installation: 1%

"Ok." Simmons muttered, "Now we wait. After this is finished, we can regroup with the others."

"Uh, Simmons?" Grif whispered to his friend in slight fear

"Yeah what's up?" Simmons said as he looked at the terminal screen.

"We got a problem." Grif replied

Simmons looked up from the screen, "What kinda problem?"

"An ice cold problem." Grif muttered as he pointed at a figure standing at the front desk. It was a girl with platinum blonde hair in a ponytail that was off center, and icey blue ices. She wore a white jacket and skirt and low heel boots. A rapier was also on her hip.

Weiss Schnee.

"Oh shit." Simmons cursed quietly

"What do we do?" Grif asked his friend

"Uh, calm down." Simmons said to him, "Act normal, remember they don't know what we look like without our armor."

"Uhh...right." Grif replied, "Act normal."

Weiss walked through the room and sat down at a terminal...that was right next to Grif and Simmons.

'This just keeps getting better and better.' Grif hissed in his head. He looked down at the terminal screen.

Update Installation: 15%

'Just fuckin' great.'

POV Change: Weiss Schnee

Weiss walked over to her terminal and sat down. She needed to get information on the recent dust robberies committed by Roman Torchwick. While she was waiting for the information she needed to transfer to her scroll. Weiss began to feel a sudden odd presence in the room.

Two individuals sat at the terminal right next to her, gazing at the screen which displayed an update display at 20%. Their faces were extremely stressed, with sweat rolling down in buckets across their foreheads. She could only see the left side of their faces. The first was a young man in his mid-20s, he had fair skin, short brown hair that was kept surprisingly clean. A full beard and mustache connected to each other covered his face which appeared to be kept in good condition, and a pair of brown eyes completed the look.

The bearded man's companion looked slightly different. He had fair skin and dark brown hair that was almost bordering on a maroon color. It was kept clean and well in shape. From Weiss's angle, the guys had green eyes, but could've sworn that there was metal built into his skin somehow...strange.

The two guys didn't even pay attention to her and just kept looking at their terminal screen, which was now at 45%. That was, until the bearded guy's left eye gazed at the young Schnee, who was still looking at her.

"C-can I help you m-miss?" the guys stuttered

Funny...his voice sounded...familiar…

Luckily, the guy's voice broke Weiss out of her thoughts.

"Oh! Sorry." she said to him, "You seem stressed."

"Me?" the guy stuttered, "No, I'm not stressed. I'm just worried about this update me and my colleague here are installing."

The guys proceeded to nudge at his friend, who jumped ever so slightly, but played along.

"Uh, yeah. This update should keep the CCT tower up and running."

The two proceeded to give the young Schnee cheesy grins. Which just confused Weiss even more.

"Ok then…"

Suddenly, the screen on the guys' terminal made a beep sound. Signaling that their update was complete. The two got up quickly, as if they were trying to get out of the CCT as soon as possible. They darted for a nearby elevator, leaving a confused Weiss. Once her download was complete, she unplugged her scroll and made her way to another elevator.

POV Change: Grif and Simmons

"Colleague my ass!" Simmons hissed as he smacked Grif in the back

"Well what did you want me to do?" Grif shot back, "She was staring at us!"

"Whatever." Simmons sighed, he then got on the radio, "Tucker, this is Simmons. Grif and I planted the bug into the CCT. Nearly ran into Weiss in the process."

"Well, Ice Queen really knows how to ruin things." Tucker replied, "Rendezvous with Lopez on the Prowler. We're gonna need all the help we can get in stoppin' Torchwick."

"Copy that." Simmons responded, "See you there."

POV Change: Sarge

Sarge stood at the entrance of a warehouse holding a box full of Grimm masks. He was wearing a White Fang officers uniform with a Grimm mask that covered his entire face. The armored gloves and hood on the uniform was also red. Sarge managed to disguise himself as a member of the White Fang to gather further intelligence on this rally held by Torchwick. Apparently, White Fang's leader put him in charge of handing out masks for new recruits.

"Sarge, this is Tucker, how copy?" Tucker asked the red soldier via comms

"Doing fine." Sarge whispered, "Nothing suspicious yet."

"Copy that." Tucker responded, "Almost ready to roll out the red carpet."

"Hehe, hell yeah." Sarge chuckled before getting off comms

"Hey! Who are you talking to!?" a White Fang soldier asked Sarge

"Uh, nothing." Sarge stuttered, "Just thought of something funny."

"Whatever." the faunus replied, "Get back to work." he then left

Sarge then began grumbling to himself, "Those stupid faunus bastards…"

"Excuse me?" a voice asked him. Sarge noticed two individuals standing in front of him. The first was a boy with spiky blonde hair and blue eyes. He wore a white button down shirt that was completely opened, blue jeans with a belt, and sneakers. He also had a monkey tail. Next to him was a girl with black hair and amber eyes. She wore a white long sleeved v-neck t-shirt with ribbons tied around both forearms, black pants with vertical grey stripes down both sides, a piece of black fabric that was connected to a belt going from hip to hip, and high heels boots. She also had cat ears on her head.

For any White Fang soldier in the facility, it was just another faunus waiting to be recruited into their organization. To Sarge on the other hand, he knew exactly who this girl was…

...it was Blake.

"Sir?" the boy asked him, "Anybody home?"

"Uh?" Sarge stuttered, "Oh! Right! Uh, here you go." he said, as he handed them their grimm masks, "Just down the hall kids."

"Thanks!" the boy replied

Sarge then started to sweat ridiculously before getting on the radio, "Tucker we got a problem. Blake is here."

"What?" Tucker questioned, "What the hell is she doing?"

"I don't know." Sarge replied, "Some boy is with her. At first I thought it was Jaune, but the kid got a monkey tail sticking outta his ass."

This time Locus spoke through the comms, "If your friend is at the rally. She's probably here to stop Torchwick too."

"I agree." Tucker replied, "Stick to the plan guys. But make sure Blake and her friend are safe. Sarge, plant the charges on the catwalk up above the stage. We're gonna blow this place to bits."

"Roger that." Sarge replied before proceeding into the warehouse for the rally event. He climbed up a ladder to get on top of the catwalk, only to be stopped by a guard.

"Hey, what are you doing?" the WF soldier asked him

"Boss said to check the lights one last time." Sarge lied to him

"Hmm, alright." the soldier replied, "Make it quick."

"Sure." Sarge replied before sneaking several explosives onto the light fixtures. He then climbed down off the catwalk and off to find his friends.

POV Change: Junior's Club

During his time as a mercenary, Locus had tended to find himself in many crazy situations. But hiding underneath a bar in a club to stay out of sight of a seventeen year-old girl, with a crazy man that has a split personality definitely took the cake.

"I don't know!" Junior explained to Yang about his connection with Torchwick

"How could you not know?" Yang protested, not believing him

"I haven't talked to him!" Junior cried, "I haven't seen him since the first night you came in here!"

Junior then leaned in and pointed at Yang, "He paid up front, I lent him my men, and none of them, ever. Came. Back."

"So where did they go?" the blue-haired boy asked him

Junior looked at him as if he was stupid, "...What kinda stupid question is that? They never came back!" he repeated before looking at Yang again, "Seriously who is this guy?"

Yang moved the boy out her way with one hand, "Don't worry about him; worry about me if I don't find out what I want!"

"I already told you everything!" Junior continued to protest, "Torchwick hired my boys, and I guess he wasn't happy with them, which is something I can relate to!" that last part he yelled at his own men.

Yang sighed before walking away, "Come on, Neptune." she said to the boy

"We get everything we need?" the now identified Neptune asked her

"Well, we got everything we can." Yang shrugged, "Hopefully the rest of the team is doing well."

The two then walked out the door, and both Locus and Doc emerged from the bar.

"...Well...that was...interesting." O'Malley muttered

"I suppose you don't have a back door to this place?" Locus asked to Junior

"To the right." Junior muttered

"Thanks." the merc replied before he and Doc left the club

POV Change: Blue Team

Blue Team stood in an alleyway right next to the warehouse. Each of them wearing White Fang uniforms similar to Sarge, but with armored gloves and hoods matching their colors.

"Do we have weapons?" Kai asked no one

"We do." Tucker replied before tossing her a WF firearm that bore a resemblance to an AK-47.

"Nice." Kai chuckled, "Just like that bachelorette party back in '48."

"Yeah…" Tucker muttered, "...wait what?"

Sarge then came through the nearby door, "Ok, charges are set."

"Good." Tucker replied, "Any sign of Grif and Simmons?"

"Right here." Simmons spoke up, as he and Grif ran up to them. Both now in their armor.

Caboose then handed the two their White Fang disguises, "Put these on."

Grif looked at them funny, "Do we have to?"

"GRIF!" everyone shouted

"Fine." the orange soldier groaned as he slipped it on over his armor.

"Everyone grab a weapon." Tucker barked at the group, and don't open fire until the explosives go off."

With that out of the way, everyone grabbed a rifle similar to the one Kai had. Well, everyone except Sarge who instead grabbed a WF shotgun.

"You sure you wanna use that Sarge?" Tucker asked him

"Son, my only weapon is and always will be a shotgun." Sarge said in response

"Suit yourself." Tucker replied as he turned around back towards the door

The now disguised Reds and Blues consisting of the original Red Team, and what remained of the original Blue Team, entered the side entrance of the warehouse. They were now on the right side of the stage (right as in if you're looking at stage) in the corner overlooking the large crowd of WF members. Some were new recruits, while others were longtime followers who wore the standard White Fang uniform. On the stage was none other than Roman Torchwick addressing the crowd with a giant robot standing behind him. To his right was the girl named Neo.

"What the hell is that?" Kai asked about the robot

"Looks like a Mantis droid." Tucker muttered

"Eh, kinda looks more like a paladin to me." Grif added his two cents

Sarge then looked at him, "What in Sam Hill is a paladin? I told you to stop making up words."

"Oh whatever." Grif groaned in response

"Hey Simmons." Sarge barked at his second-in-command, "What's the name of that Mexican lizard? Eats all the goats."

"Uh, that would be the chupacabra sir." Simmons replied

"Hey, how 'bout that?" Sarge asked Grif, "The chupa-thingy?"

"Nah." Grif muttered

Tucker then spoke up, "Hey! Guys enough! Let's hear what he has to say."

"Now, many of your brothers have already moved down to our new operation in the southeast." Torchwick said to the crowd, "If you'd rather stay within the city, that's fine... But if you're truly ready to fight for what you believe in, this is the arsenal I can provide you. Any questions?"

His question was answered by a loud applause.

"Would all new recruits proceed to the right." the WF lieutenant announced

"Uh guys." Caboose spoke up, "I see Blake, she's with her friend."

"Oh great." Tucker muttered

"Even worse, I think Torchwick sees her." Simmons cried as he pointed at the criminal

"Alright then." Tucker said as he straightened himself, "Weapons ready."

Everyone proceeded to load their weapons.

"Sarge when I get to one set off the charges." Tucker ordered

Sarge only nodded in response.

"3...2...1 NOW!"

Sarge proceeded to detonate the explosives on the catwalk, causing several light fixtures to fall on the crowd.

"WEAPONS FREE!" Tucker shouted as he and the rest of the team started to open fire on the crowd. Killing several WF soldiers.

"Get the traitors!" the WF lieutenant shouted

"They're not traitors!" Torchwick barked, "It's them! It's those soldier freaks! KILL THEM!"

The larger crowd of Faunus started to converge on the smaller crowd of disguised Reds and Blues. But Tucker had another idea.

"Not today fellas." he muttered, "Grif?"

"Eat future cubes bitches!" Grif shouted as he set off one in his hand. An orange glow surrounded the Reds and Blues before they disappeared from the room.

"Well don't just stand there!" Torchwick shouted, "Find them!"

"Boss! The Belladonna girl is gone!" one of the goons shouted, "Looks like she went through the window during the commotion!"

"I'll deal with her myself!" Torchwick replied before jumping into the giant robot mech

POV Change: Reds and Blues

Both teams teleported to the top of the roof so they could regroup.

"Whew, that was close." Simmons huffed

"Yeah, too close." Grif added, "Hey there's Blake!"

Grif pointed to the cat faunus who was running on the rooftops of Vale's industrial district, with her other faunus friend. Suddenly, the giant robot from the warehouse bursted through the wall and started to give chase.

"Oh no." Caboose muttered

Sarge then got on the radio, "Does anyone read me!?"

"I do." Locus replied, "What's wrong Sarge?"

"Blake and Donkey Kong Jr. are being chased by a giant robot operated by Torchwick." Sarge explained, "Looks like they're heading towards the freeway. We are giving chase now, but we need you guys to intercept."

POV Change: The Prowler

"Affirmative." Locus replied, "Lopez just picked us up from the nightclub. We're heading our way there now."

"Copy that." Sarge replied

Locus then looked at Lopez, who was flying the ship, "Lopez! Get us to the freeway! We have to stop that robot!"

"[Ok. We shall destroy the inferior mech of a robot.]" Lopez replied before turning the ship the direction of the freeway.

Locus then looked at Doc and Donut, who were arming themselves with their respected weapons before standing on two separate floor hatches.

"Remember." Locus said to them, "Stay in the shadows, don't let Blake notice you."

"Can do!" Donut replied

The Prowler flew over the bustling freeway, just a few meters away behind the robot, Blake and monkey man.

"[We're approaching the drop zone!]" Lopez shouted from the cockpit, "[Prepare to drop!]"

Doc and Donut looked at one another and nodded.

"Three...Two...One! Go Now!" Locus shouted

The floor hatches opened underneath their feet, and both Doc and Donut fell through the floor.

The Prowler's underbelly hatch opened and dropped two purple motorcycles onto the busy freeway. Both vehicles carried Doc and Donut. The two both stepped on the gas pedal and began their chase after Torchwick's robot. Donut used his motorcycle's front plasma turrets while O'Malley used his rocket launcher, the maniac fired two rockets with both splitting apart several times into six mini rockets. Each hit Torchwick's robot's leg, arm, and neck joints.

"Ah!" Torchwick shouted from inside the mech, "Son of a bitch!"

Torchwick wanted to turn around and fight the two sim troopers, but he also didn't want Blake and the boy to run off.

Speaking of Blake, she and Sun had noticed the explosion from O'Malley's rocket.

"What was that!?" Sun asked her

"I don't know!" Blake replied, "But whatever it was I am totally fine with it!"

Meanwhile, Donut continued to open fire at the mech with his plasma turrets when he noticed something in the corner of his left eye. On the opposite freeway, a yellow motorcycle with black and red accents was speeding down the road through oncoming traffic, Yang and the blue-haired boy from before were on the vehicle, making their way to stop Torchwick. They also appeared to not have noticed Donut nor Doc yet as well.

"Guys, Yang and her friend are here, looks like they're going to try and intercept Torchwick." Donut said through the comms

"Donut, you and Doc pull back." Tucker replied, "We're making our way to you."

"Understood." O'Malley said to him, "We'll wait for you."

POV Change: Yang and Neptune

"We've gotta slow it down!" Yang shouted to Neptune. The two were on Yang's motorcycle trying to catch up with Torchwick's robot.

"I've got it!" Neptune replied, he was about to make his move on the robot when the giant Atlas mech turned around, and fired several rockets at the duo, causing Yang to swerve slightly as the rockets blew several cars in their direction. Neptune nearly fell out of his seat, but managed to get back to his senses before grabbing his weapon, shifting into its rifle form and firing several overcharged rounds into the robot's back, angering Torchwick. Neptune then shifted his weapon into a staff with an electric baton on the end before jumping in the air and impaling the mech in the back.

"Neptune hang on!" Sun shouted as he and Blake turned around to assist him. The monkey faunus summoned two clones of himself and the trio were about to jump on the robot, only for it to grab Neptune and throw him into Sun and his clones. The flash clones dispersed and the duo fell off the freeway in the process.

"Sun!" Blake shouted

Torchwick turned the robot around and started to chase Blake again. The cat faunus jumped out of the way to reveal Weiss standing in the road. She stabbed the ground with Myrtenaster and summoned a glyph that covered the road in ice. The giant mech started to slip on the ice, but managed to regain its balance.

"Great." Weiss muttered as she stood in the shadow of the giant robot

"See ya around Ice Queen!" Torchwick said from inside the robot, as he pointed one of the robot guns at her. But before he could pull the trigger, an unknown object flew off the upper lane on the freeway and pushed the mech off the platform, taking the object with it. It was so fast, that not even Weiss could see it.

"What was that!?" Weiss shouted

"I don't know! But I'm totally ok with it." Blake replied before they ran off to catch up with Torchwick.

POV Change: The Reds and Blues

Grif drew off the overpass and into Torchwick's robot, sending himself, his team, Blue Team, the warthog, and the robot off the freeway. Luckily, he managed to land rightside up and drove away from the scene. Getting away from Team RWBY's sight as quickly as possible.

"Where are you going!?" Sarge asked him

"To the Prowler." Grif replied, "Team RWBY is here and the last thing we need is for them to see us."

"He's right." Tucker added, hanging from the jeep's side, "We'll regroup at the ship. Lopez! Come and get us!"

"[Ok.]" Lopex replied via comms, "[Prepare or pickup.]"

The Prowler swooped down and picked up both teams before flying back to the scene. They landed on the now devastated freeway, and looked over the edge to see all of Team RWBY minus the two boys fighting Torchwick's robot. They were fighting in coordinated attacks, with Ruby each attack before taking action. This was something that each member looked down on. It was better to just attack than just announce what you were going to do.

"Damn." Sarge muttered, "They've improved since their fight with the Meta."

"Why is Ruby wearing blue?" Simmons asked no one

"Hey I noticed too!" Donut replied, "It looks really good on here."

"Why you little traitor." Sarge grumbled about Ruby's clothing

"I'll give you three guesses where she got the idea from." Doc muttered

"Oh! Let me guess!" Caboose stupidly said in response to Doc's comment, "Tucker!"

"Wow." Grif muttered, "I still can't understand why Ruby fell for you."

"Technically Caboose fell first." Tucker spoke, "He tripped over a rock and Ruby fell with him."

"Oh right."

The teams noticed Yang smash Torchwick's robot to pieces with her bare fist.

"Oh shit!" Grif muttered, "Torchwick got fucked!"

"He's still alive though." Locus muttered

"Alright enough bitchin' guys." Tucker muttered before picking up a sniper rifle and holding it up to the former merc, "Locus, you're gonna take the shot."

Locus looked at him funny, "What?"

"You're the best with a sniper rifle than all of us." Tucker explained, "We need you to shoot Torchwick."

"I won't." Locus replied

"What?" Tucker questioned before realizing why the merc wouldn't do it, "Oh right, you don't kill anymore. You only shoot the knee caps."

"Right." said Locus

"Ok then...Simmons you did." Tucker muttered before handing the rifles to Simmons

"On it." the maroon soldier replied as he took the weapon looked through the scope

"Do you see him?" Sarge asked

"Yeah I do." Simmons muttered, "But that ice cream chick is with him. Looks like he's taking something out of his pocket."

"Ugh, we don't have time for this." Tucker said to him, "Pick your target and take the shot."

"Alright, here goes nothing."

BANG!

POV Change: Team RWBY

A few seconds earlier…

Team RWBY all stood in fighting stances and glared at Torchwick, who was standing in the midst of the now destroyed the Atlesian Paladin

"Ladies…" Torchwick said to them with hs henchmen Neo at his side

The crime boss then looked at Weiss, "Ice Queen."

"Hey!" Weiss hssed

"Always a pleasure!" Torchwick announced as he saluted them before looking at Neo, "Neo, if you would."

Neo proceeded to bow at them with a smirk on her face.

"I must say, I never thought your friends would show so suddenly to help you." Torchwick chuckled, "They must be very desperate."

The girls all looked at him funny, wondering what he was talking about.

"What are you talking about?" Blake asked

"Oh, you don't know?" Torchwick questioned "Well, let me show you…"

Torchwick proceeded to pull something out of his pocket, when suddenly…

BANG!

"AAAAHHHHHH!"

A bullet from a sniper rifle came out of nowhere and struck Torchwick in his left arm, completely detaching it from the rest of his body. The limb fell to the ground, with blood pouring out of it.

"WHOA!" Yang shouted

"RUBY!" Weiss hissed, assuming that the shot came from her leader

"That wasn't me!" Ruby defended herself

The four looked up at the freeway to notice a bullhead of some sort fly away at a speed that could surpass an Atlesian frigate. They then turned back to look at Torchwick, who was being held up by Neo. Yang charged at them only for their image to shatter into bits of glass. They then noticed a bullhead flying away, carrying the criminal duos.

"Looks like he has a new henchman…" Yang muttered

"But who was the guy who shot Torchwick?" Weiss asked her team

"I don't know." Blake muttered, "Maybe it was Sun and Neptune?"

Yang shook her head, "No it couldn't have been. What do you think Ruby?"

But Ruby didn't answer.

"Ruby?" Weiss called out, the trio noticed their young leader looking over Torchwick's severed arm. She knelt down to pick something that was in its hand.

"Ruby was it?" Blake asked her, "What did you find?"

Ruby turned around, a frown on her face that showed a mixture of shock and surprise. In her hands was a pendant that looked like a silver rose, which was connected to a chain.

It was her pendant…

The same one that she gave to Caboose...
