"What's this...?"
Within the room of metal and stone, the biggest glass tube she've ever seen contained an orb of dark energy.
"That will take you to the other world." Fluttershy didn't turn around at the sound of Discord's voice as he approach her.
"He's up ahead." Fluttershy said, knowingly.
"Are you truly going?" Discord asked as the yellow filly finally turned around. "A reality too harsh for such a young lady may be awaiting you. Will you go regardless?"
She nodded.
"You seen adamant. Then let me give you this."
Discord walk up to her and gave her a bottle of a clear liquid.
"What's this, mister?" Fluttershy asked.
"Magic Water, a product of my company."
"Magic Water...?" She raised an eyebrow for a moment. "Sounds made-up."
"Please take this with you. The power kept within the water shall no doubt be of help to you."
"Can I save father with this too?"
"Of course. The water has to power to seal the power to seal the power of the curse."
"So I can stop the curse... Mom..." Fluttershy closed her eyes as she thought about the mother. "She must be in pain... So I have to save mom too! Will mom be able to rest once the curse is gone?"
"Yes. I'm sure she will. If your love reaches her, I am sure your mother can be saved."
"...Okay." She smiled kindly to the creature. "Thank you, mister."
"It was nothing, madam. I pray for your safety."
Fluttershy nodded to him, then turn towards the dark portal. Jumping in, she has her only means of weaponry left behind; her mini chainsaw.
"So she went..." Discord commented on. "What will she choose, I wonder..." He let out a laugh. "I shall see this to the end."
When Fluttershy gained consciousness, she noticed the strange red earth around her along with the dark, empty abysses surrounding the area.
"This is..." She picked herself up. "It's like some storybook world... Better move on..."
Blue flames lead her to another portal, and that's where she saw them.
Her father and Heal Sea collapsed onto the ground with the spirit of her mother looking over him.
"Mom..." Fluttershy quietly said.
"So you came, Fluttershy..." Her mother's eyes eyes were shadowed by her long man.
"So it's really you, mom..." Fluttershy ran up to her, but she was thrown back by an invisible force that surrounded the ghostly mare.
The yellow pegasus slowly tried to pick herself up.
"You shouldn't have come." Her mom said, calmly.
"Why... Why did you do this?" Fluttershy can't help but to ask.
"You've seen it in your way here, haven't you, Fluttershy? The atrocities this stallion continues to commit. I don't want any more victims of his! Don't you feel the same, Fluttershy?"
"...You lie!" The young filly stood up. "If anypony understood father, it was you, mom! It's Heal Sea you don't like, right?" She notice how the white mare tensed at that sentence. "She loved father, so you didn't like them getting along... I know how you feel I love father too, so I felt like somepony was taking him away... I was so scared, I couldn't breathe..."
Fluttershy hoped her mother would understand, but instead he laughed, It wasn't deranged or full of humor. It was weak, maybe with pity.
"What a relief... You really are our daughter." The bloodies mare said, surprisingly calm. "I know that. Yes, it's all as you say." She turned towards the stallion. "I couldn't stand to see your father and Heal Sea together..."
"So you still love father, don't you?" Tears bursted from the filly's eyes. "So then why are you making him suffer?!"
"It's not that I want to make him suffer..." The mare fell down to her knees, holding a hoof to her father's side. "I don't want to give him to anypony. So I'm taking him with me."
Fluttershy's eyes widen for a moment until she shook her head. "You can't... Didn't we promise? Whatever happens, we'll support father..."
"Rest easy, Fluttershy. I'll be supporting him... Eternally, in the afterlife!"
"What's going to happen to ma? Without father, I'll be all alone! I don't want that! I just want to live with father and you!" She took a step forward. "Mom... Take me with you too! Please...!"
"I can't possibly do that. I want to live and be happy..." Her mother sharply turn to her.
Fluttershy shook her head. "But I can't...! What makes me happy is being with you and father... So don't leave me alone!"
She ran up to her, but she was flung back once again by the mysterious force.
A purple aura surrounded her mother's body as her pink mane flurried in the air like tendrils. She hovered above the ground without the use of her wings.
"NO PONY SHALL INTERFERE..." The mare growled, then collapse to her place by the stallion.
"M-Mom..." Fluttershy's body shook, trying to get up once more.
"Now, honey, let us go..."
A dark portal appeared behind her parents as her mother drag closer to it.
"Fa... ther..." Fluttershy weakly said.
She could see the broken glasses of her father raise up slightly, gazing at her with unfamiliar fear she've never seen before. "Flu... tter... shy... Fluttershy!"
"Father!" She cried out.
Once again, Fluttershy ran up to her parents, but this time, she was able to separate the two.
"Father!" Fluttershy ran to his side.
"Fluttershy... Why won't you listen to your mother?" The white mare's voice came off as a growl.
"Don't take father away!"
"OUT OF MY..." A purple aura surrounded the older pegasus as her pink locks fluttered like tendrils. "WAAAAYYYYY!"
"Mom..."
In a blink of an eye, her mother was closer. "NO PONY SHALL HAVE HIM."
"Mom, stop..."
In another flash, the mare she knew and love have teleported right in front of her. "HE IS MINE ALONE."
Fluttershy's body shook in fear, but she remembered what Discord have given her; Magic Water.
I can save father with this... The young pegasus gaze down on the small bottle. But what about mom?
"If your love reaches her, I am sure your mother can be saved." Discord's words echoed in her head.
This Magic Water might be her only way to save her father.
And yet... Fluttershy doesn't. She grants her mother her wish as the young pegasus took a step back.
"I'm sorry, father..." Fluttershy could feel the tears run down her face. "Mom... She loves you more than anypony. I can't take you away form mom..."
"Flu... tter... shy..." Her father weakly said, trying to reach out to her.
"I'm... sor... ry..."
A white light flashed, and once it disappeared, Fluttershy found herself in an unfamiliar room filled with glass tubes, dolls, and stone walls.
"Where am I...?" Fluttershy asked herself, glancing around the room. "Did I make it back...? It's just me..."
Walking down the long hall, Fluttershy was able to find Heal Sea lying on the ground.
"Heal Sea!" Fluttershy shouted, running to her side.
The unicorn stirred, slowly standing up. "Where is this...?"
After glancing around, her green eyes landed on the young filly. "Mistress?" Her eyes widen in realization. "Where's the doctor?! What happened to him?! Mistress! The doctor!"
By the way Fluttershy looked away from her, Heal Sea's pupils shrunk, knowing her entire world is gone now.
In the mansion's shrine, with the candles' flames as their source for light, Fluttershy and Heal Sea paid their respects for the doctor.
"It's so quiet... The curse must have faded." Fluttershy commented, gazing at the table in front of her. "And father's gone... I'm sure this is for the best. Now no pony will be hurt by father's experiments anymore. You'd say the same thing... Right, mom...?" She lowered her head. "But... Now what do I do? I don't have a father or mother... I'm all alo..." She stopped herself. "No. I shouldn't whine about it." The young pegasus turned around. "I just have to live on my own from now on..."
Fluttershy took a few steps towards the door, but stopped to ask the unicorn sitting at the benches, "Heal Sea... What will you do? You can't just stay here. Since father's gone..."
The white unicorn stayed silent with her eyes down.
"But if you have nowhere to go, then..." She continue to make her way down until she heard Heal Sea's hoofsteps behind her.
"Heal Sea."
Then everything around her went black.
In the basement illuminated by lanterns, Heal Sea enter the room, seeing the young mistress dressed in rags on the examination table.
Approaching her, Heal Sea said to the empty air around her, "Doctor... You are with us no longer... But please, take heart... I shall take on the duty... The future you wished for the mistress... I shall see it out. So please, rest in peace." She smiled. "Doctor... I love you."
AN: Ah, 2013-2015; the time where we have no clue if Fluttershy have parents or sibling. ...So I know it took a 'while' for this chapter and that this is an ending instead of Fluttershy going through the mansion. The answer is... I don't have an inspiration for this story anymore, but I feel bad that I wasn't able to finish the story, so I decided to do the endings instead. My only grip I have with this story is that I didn't really put in a pony touch it. Just Mad Father with pony characters acting like the characters, and not the ponies inside of the situation. Anyway, I hope you like this.
