This Magic Water might be her only way to save her father.
And she took that chance.
I'll save father...
Once Fluttershy opened the bottle, her mother teleported away from her in shock.
"F-FLUTTERSHY? WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Her mother demanded.
"I'm sorry, mom..." The young pegasus teared up as the liquid in the bottle glowed.
"STOP, FLUTTERSHY!"
The white mare glowed so brightly that it blinded Fluttershy as she listened to her mother let out a high pitched scream. Once the light die down, the mare in front of her have a white glow to her, different from the menacing purple one from before.
"...I'M FA...DING..." Her voice weakly wavered, almost as if she was dying. "MY BODY DISAPPEARING..."
"Mom...!" Fluttershy cried out.
Slowly, as she fade from her sight, her mother weakly called out her name.
"Wait! Don't go!"
The young filly try to reach out to her, but right before her eyes, the white mare disappeared from a ball of light.
Then all she saw was darkness.
In an unfamiliar room of glass tubes, dolls, and stone walls, Fluttershy regained consciousness.
"Where am I..." The yellow pegasus asked herself, but she noticed the stallion right in front of her. "Father!"
Running to his side, Fluttershy continued to cry out for him until the stallion finally woke up.
"Hmm...? Was I... saved?" Her father asked, groaning. "Fluttershy..."
The young pegasus clung onto him for dear life. "Father...!"
"Flutterhy... I'm sorry, Fluttershy... I worried you so..." The stallion apologized.
"Father... Mom..." Fluttershy tried to start, but her father beat her to it.
"Yes. I know... She must have been lonely. We'll visit her grave tomorrow to soothe her spirit..."
"O...Okay..."
The ghost of her mother appeared behind them. "Fluttershy... I didn't want to know the truth. But with the last of my power..." She approach the young filly until they are one.
Fluttershy's eyes widen, noticing she wasn't clinging onto her father anymore. Rather, she was in the basement with her father and Heal Sea. "What?!"
"A fine sample..." Her father said, his mouth covered by his medical mask.
"I shall dispose of the remaining materials myself." Heal Sea said, but the stallion stopped her.
"That can wait. Come, Heal Sea."
"Doctor..."
The two embraced, holding each others like lovers.
"Doctor..." Heal Sea repeated, closing her eyes to enjoy the moment until a worrisome look came to her. "The mistress is aware of our... relationship."
"Hm? What does it matter?" He replied.
"I don't believe she's fond of me. That is the problem."
"The girl will be 11 soon. It's a troublesome age, to be sure... Be kind to her, please. Ensure that she never comes to harm. She is my most precious... doll of them all."
"...Huh?" Fluttershy blinked at the mention of that word. "A doll...? Me? F...Father?"
He has called her many sweet things, but the young pegasus had never remembered her father called a 'doll' before.
In a quick white flash, Fluttershy found herself outside of the lab.
"Was that..." She realized where she is. " Huh? This is... Now what...?"
They yellow filly turn her head tot he side when she heard hoofsteps coming her way.
"Mom!" Fluttershy shouted, standing in front of her path.
She ran up to her, but like a ghost, her mother went through her body without a second thought, and instead, she approach the door to his lab.
"He's always spending all his time down in the basement." Her mother complained. "Don't tell me he's with that girl again..."
She pressed herself against the wall, listening to what's beyond the door, as Fluttershy followed behind her.
"Doctor, Mistress Fluttershy has become rather ladylike." She could hear Heal Sea's voice. "And to think, she always used to make mischief and bother you."
Her father let out a soft laugh, full of fondness. "Indeed. Just a little more, I think... A little more until she's ripe. I want to make her into the most beautiful doll I can."
Her mother's eyes widen in shock. "What... was that...?"
"She shall be the masterpiece of all the dolls I've made."
"Dolls?" Fluttershy repeated, nervousness bubbling up from her.
"W-What..." Disgust appeared on the white pegasus's face. "Make her into a doll?"
"Mom? What is this?" Fluttershy can't help but to ask, though obviously her mother didn't reply back.
"I shall clean the unnecessary materials." Heal Sea's voice grew further as she went into the other room.
"Please do." Her father said back to her.
"I'll never forgive you..." The white pegasus's voice came off as a growl. "You'll never make our precious daughter into one of your subjects!"
"...Huh?" Fluttershy said in confusion, certain her mother would have mentioned this before.
Her mother entered the lab as Fluttershy watched the confrontation from afar.
"You! What's the meaning of this?!" She demanded the stallion, her wings flurrying up. "Are you planning to experiment on her?!"
"So you overheard..." Surprisingly, the yellow stallion wasn't shock or angry by such a fact.
"What are you thinking?! She's our one and only treasure!"
"Exactly! She's a wondrous daughter! I want to make her eternally so! And yet, she... will someday be dirtied... That, I cannot bear to think! So I will make her into a doll!"
"I don't believe this...! I'll never let you do that!" She took a step towards the door. "I'm leaving!"
"What are you saying?"
"If you want a doll of her so badly, just make a replica!"
She walked closer to the door in a raging huff until Fluttershy's father grabbed her tail. "Wait. Are you planning to take her away? That, I cannot allow."
"Let go!" She tried to shake him off.
"I won't let you do what you will with her!"
"Mom...!" A crash can be heard as Fluttershy entered the room as a vain attempt to stop them, but the truth was revealed before her very eyes: Her father had killed her mother, stabbing her heart with a scalpel.
Fluttershy screamed in pure horror, watching the white pegasus drop down to the stone floor, slumming against the wall.
Heal Sea entered the room, only to be horrified by what happened. "Milady!" She ran up to her mother, checking if she was alive. "Milady! Stay with us!" She quickly turn to her father. "Doctor! Why did you do this?!"
"It had to be done... For Fluttershy's future." Her father said, not a single care for the white pegasus's well-being, his wife's well-being.
"B-But...! Milady..." The white unicorn tried to protest, but the yellow stallion was quick to interrupt.
"Don't speak of this to Fluttershy."
"But...!" Heal Sea turned to him in surprise.
"She was already feeble. Say she passed away from a fit."
"Deceive the mistress? I... I can't..."
"Are you refusing my order?"
"N-No... That's not what..." The white unicorn's eyes case downward until the doctor have said her name.
"Heal Sea..."
She looked up at him. "Whatever happens. I am loyal to you, doctor..."
He held her chin. "That is why you are my assistant."
"Aah... Doctor..."
He took a few steps away from her, thinking about the situation they're dealing with. "Now, how shall we dispose of the body... Naturally, Fluttershy must not see it."
To that, the unicorn mare has gone silent.
"Mom..." The world around the young filly no longer made sense as she walk to her mother. "Is this a dream? Am I just having a bad dream?"
The dead body in front of her stirred. "It's no dream."
Fluttershy fell onto her flank when the ghost of her mother appeared before her eyes instead of the dying corpse. "This is reality!"
"M-Mom..." Her eyes widen in size, fearing for her life but the mare fell to her knees, her tears slowly weld up in her eyes.
"I'm sorry, Fluttershy..." The mare apologized, much to the filly's surprise. "Your mother... still loves your father even now. So... I didn't kill him... But... I should have..."
"Don't say that!"
"Run away... Away from him..."
In a flash, Fluttershy no longer stared at her ghostly mother but at the living body of her father. She fell back as her father looked at her in confusion through his broken lens. "Fluttershy?"
The young filly scrambled back, fearful of the stallion and his actions. Memories shown by her mother were still clear in her mind.
The stallion stood up. "Fluttershy, what's wrong? Why do you look so afraid of your father?"
"N-No..." Fluttershy continued on backing away from him, wanting to be on the other side of the world away from him until she bumped into something.
Just in time, when the young pegasus turned around, her eyes was met with the corpse of her mother, floating in the glass tube like so many other dead ponies in the mansion.
A horrified scream came out of her as she fell to the ground.
"No... Mo...ther?" Fluttershy quietly said.
"Fluttershy.." The young pegasus could hear her father step closer to her, but she didn't dared to turn arround.
"What I just saw... Was it the truth...? Father... You..."
Her father's voice was closer as he fell to his knees, staring fondly as if there was nothing wrong with this. "Very well..."
"Fath..." She couldn;t even finish that word while her father continued on, fascinated by the corpse in front of them.
"Well, Fluttershy...? Don;t you think your mother's beautiful?" Her father asked with a smile.
Fluttershy let out a squeak, running to the glass tube to be far away from him.
"I suppose you can't accept it just yet..." His eyes were down, though he didn't frown, seemingly understanding why. "Yet, I know you will in time." He stood up. "I wanted to wait just a little longer, but..."
"Father... You're going to make me into a doll?" She knows the answer, but she can't help asking out of fear.
"Don't be sad, Fluttershy." The look in his eyes could only be described as demented. "By making you a doll, your beauty can last forever!"
He approached the other dolls in the room. "Look at these children! Beautiful, yes? Preserved just as they were when alive! These are the fruits of the Shy family research!"
None of them are moving... Fluttershy commented on in her mind, recognizing their life-like bodies. Is that what's going to happen to me?!
He approached the oddly familiar doll with the light green coat and orange-red mane. "Look them over from head to hoof, and you can only imagine that they're dolls, yes? But their heads, eyes, torsos, hooves, legs... They were gathered from a wide array of ponies!" He approached the one that resembles a griffin. "I find it quite fascinating! Isn't that incredible? What would you like to be, Fluttershy?"
Her eyes were able to somehow widen more at his question.
"Alas, I can't make many changes while preserving your loveliness..."
"Father... stop..." Fluttershy begged, but her tears didn't stop him.
"Ah, yes... I shall dress you in all the finest clothes! Tell me whatever you wish to wear!"
"Nooo...!" Fluttershy ran towards the exit, but she stopped when he called out her name.
"Where are you going? Come... be by your father!"
"No...!"
"Have you come to hate me?" A frown didn't touch his lips but Fluttershy can't help but to apologize.
"I'm sorry... But... I... I DON'T WANT TO BE A DOLL!"
Then she ran before she could get a response.
Fluttershy ran and ran until she was met with an empty room besides the mannequin. The young pegasus tried to open the door on the other side of the room, but it barely budged.
"It won't open?!" Fluttershy panicked at the revelation.
"Fffflutershy..." She squeaked at the sound of her father's voice calling out her name, turning to the green door.
Her eyes widen when the mannequin of an orange earth pony moved right in front of the door as if by magic, blocking her father's way to her.
"Open the door, Fluttershy!" He banged the door.
The mannequin blocked it...? Fluttershy thought in surprise. "Thanks!"
"FLUTTERSHY!" Another loud bang was heard as the yellow pegasus tried to get out of the reason.
"Open!" Fluttershy begged, pushing agains the door.
"Fluttershyyy... Come baaack..."
Fluttershy didn't turn back. Not when there was a familiar buzzing sound of a chainsaw. Not when that chainsaw pierced through the mannequin.
She only turned around when wood and flesh fly in the air as she was affirmed by her father's arrival by his crazed laughter.
"FLUTTERSHYYYYY! No running awaaAAAY!"
"Gotta run!" Fluttershy rushed through the exit and was met with a long hallway.
At the end of the hallway, she was met with another locked door.
"Won't open...!" She glanced back to her charging father, only to notice the switch on the wall.
Her father neared, but Fluttershy took the chance. She zigged-zagged her way passed the stallion, reaching for the switch.
Once it was pulled, the young pegasus followed the same path to the exit.
"Hnn..." Heal Sea groaned, picking herself, taking into her surroundings. "Where is this...? Did I make it back...? Doctor?!"
She could hear little hoofsteps behind her and she was met with the young pegasus. "Mistress!"
The buzz of a chainsaw met her ears. "Heal Sea! Don't let Fluttershy escape!"
But the yellow pegasus ran pass her before the unicorn could react. "Wait!"
Fluttershy ran and ran until she was met with a split in the hall.
"What do I do..." Fluttershy franrically asked herself until she noticed the pile of bags and decided on climbing over there.
She was met with a room filled with dead bodies laying on wooden tables and medicines. Sadly, the door on the other side wouldn't open.
"Won't open!?"
"Fluttershy, I'm going to get you..."
The young pegasus's eyes grew in size at the sound of her father's echo, gasping.
"What do I do..." She asked herself until she noticed the corpseless table. "I could hide here."
Hiding under the blanket, darkness was her only view, but she allowed her ears to guide her for now.
The sounds of the metal door opening came to her, as hoofsteps came in.
"Mistress, wherever could you be...?" The young pegasus could hear Heal Sea wonder.
Another set of hoofsteps came in, followed by the low rumbles of a chainsaw. "Where did Fluttershy go?"
"I apologize... I lost sight of her."
"You what...?"
"I'I'm terribly sorry! I-I am certain she could not be far... Let us search elsewh..."
"You USELESS...!"
Fluttershy kept herself as she heard the chainsaw's rumbles roared and blood splattering across the floor. She finally decided to look once her father destroyed the locked door, and saw the mare laying on the ground.
I have to escape. Fluttershy worried to herself as she ran to the opposite door, though she did have some lingering guilts about leaving her there to die.
All she could do is run and run, hearing her father's voice, until she tripped right in the Alter room.
Fluttershy let out a squeal as she made contact with the floor.
A giggling doll held her back legs down. "COME BE WITH US..."
The young pegasus lets out a terrified scream. "NOOOOO!"
"Fluttershy..." Her eyes widen at the sound of her name to the side.
Standing on top of the alter was her father looking down on her with his chainsaw.
"That's enough of our game of tag, Fluttershy. I have to keep you still, don't I?"
Fluttershy struggled against the doll, desperate to escape. "Let GOOO!"
He hopped down to the ground; his face slightly softened. "I didn't want to hurt you, Fluttershy... It's a shame."
"No... Stop, father..." Fluttershy begged.
"But I can cover your leg with a skirt easily enough, so it should be fine."
"I don't want this... I wanted to stay with you always... I love you... father... So please... Please stop this...!"
"Fluttershy..." He held onto his chainsaw. "Don't worry. Father and Fluttershy will always be together now. So rest in peace... Fluttershy..." He held the roaring chainsaw above his head. "I love you."
"Fluttershy, your new dress looks wonderful on you!" At any other occasion, those words would have sound average, maybe for a birthday party, but no. No meaningful birthday in sight; just a new member has been added to the doll room.
A young filly dressed in rich pink, acting as the new ruling queen as she sat on her throne.
"Well, it's about time to sleep." The stallion approached her, and gave her a soft kiss on her forehead, as if she would appreciate it.
The stallion left the room, making sure to keep the door close.
"...Goodnight, Fluttershy."
