He found her crying downstairs. It was odd because usually, she was the one making people cry, not the other way around. The thought flickered through his mind that he should just turn around and head up the stairs to the party; but, something about her damage was attractive to his damage. Reluctantly, he turned away from the laughter and music floating down the staircase and made his way over to the sofa where she was whimpering with her head in her hands.

"Y'know guys usually prefer girls who aren't crying alone in the dark."

Georgina had to swallow some of her tears just to be able to speak. "Shut up Bass, no one even invited you because you're a creepy jerk."

He was taken aback for a second because while there were a select few girls who weren't susceptible to the Bass charm, Serena and Blair for example, Georgina had always seemed to like him.

By now, she had realized that, for whatever reason, he wasn't going to leave her to cry in peace. It was a small comfort to know that, while Chuck probably didn't care about her, he was at least interested in her.

He sat down next to Georgina feeling strangely vulnerable. "You and I aren't that different, you know. We're both trying to prove that we're okay when we clearly aren't. However, unlike you, I've decided to embrace the role of the villain."

She let out a small, breathy laugh. "Yeah, maybe that's what I should do. I'm so tired of trying to be someone I'm not when it doesn't even seem to make a difference."

Chuck got up and slowly made his way across the room to where the scotch was. He hadn't drunk before, but he had watched his father drink himself into oblivion enough times to know how to do it.

"People don't care about who you think you are or aren't, G. Be whoever you want to be, even if it isn't who you are now." He made his way back to her with the two glasses and set them on the table.

Georgina pondered what Chuck had said. He was right; who you are doesn't matter, only who people think you are. She could be whoever she wanted if she tried hard enough. She had always been a decent actress, so pretending to be a cold, confident, dangerous woman couldn't be that hard. All she had to do was dress the right way, say the right things to the right people, and most importantly, act like a complete and total bitch.

They looked at each other and laughed for a second before reaching out and taking the glasses and clinking them together. "To being whoever the hell you want!" Georgina exclaimed. "Here, here," Chuck responded, amused by her sudden shift in demeanor. He thought that maybe he had actually said the right thing for once.

After one swallow, they were both coughing up a lung, but at least neither of them was crying. The drinks were forgotten on the table, replaced by an intoxicating conversation of personal damage and dark revenge schemes.

"Y'know not a single one of my supposed friends have even come down to check on me." Georgina wasn't feeling sad anymore; now she was pissed and in the mood to do something reckless.

Something about the way her eyes glistened as she said this enticed him, and Chuck leaned in to place his hand on her thigh, "That's their loss and my gain." He had the thought that maybe they were both broken in exactly the right places to be able to put each other back together, for that night at least.

Normally, Georgina would've been repulsed by Chuck's blatant advances, but right now, all of her walls were down and she felt alive for the first time in a long time. She found herself leaning into him, and before she knew it, their lips were touching, hesitantly at first slowly more confidently.

Chuck's thoughts were going a mile a minute. For the class playboy, he hadn't actually done all that much. Obviously, he had watched enough porn to talk a big game, but that was just the problem; he thought he knew what was supposed to happen, but he had no idea how to actually do it. To his surprise, Georgina actually seemed to know what she was doing. Now he just had to stay in control, he thought. He didn't want to be one of those guys who got excited too easily and ended up ruining his pants. They were expensive, after all.

He let his hands explore her body while he tried to figure out the right thing to say. When he finally did, he broke away from her slowly and whispered hoarsely, "Why don't we take this party somewhere a bit more private?"

Georgina smiled and looked up at him through her thick lashes as he stood up. He led her down the hallway opposite the living room and to one of the guest rooms that he and Nate had stayed in when Serena's mom was out of town.

Georgina sat on the edge of the bed, laid back, and ran her fingers through her long black hair. Chuck looked at her and prayed to God that there were still condoms in the nightstand.

Staring up at the ceiling, Georgina spoke, "Isn't it kind of weird to be messing around in Serena's guest room?"

Just at that moment, Chuck found a condom under a couple of old magazines. "I mean, it's not really different than when they play seven minutes in heaven, is it?"

A small smile played on her face because she knew for a fact that not even Serena had done more than make out with someone. "Yeah, that's true."

Chuck laid down next to Georgina and started playing with her hair. She, in turn, started slowly unbuttoning his shirt. Chuck breathed in sharply as her cold fingers traced over his ribs. Their lips quivered as their noses touched; the next thing they knew, their lips were pressed together, exploring the other's mouth.

He grabbed her ass and she felt him pressed against her leg. She smirked to herself but he must have noticed because he drew back for a second. "Have you ever done this before?"

"No, but I want to; you make me feel so alive."

Chuck was relieved that she also had no idea what she was doing or what to expect.

"Have you done this before, Chuck?"

He thought about lying didn't for some reason. "No."

"So we get to be each other's first. That's pretty cute, right?" Georgina was already anticipating the looks on all the other girls' faces in gym class when she told them that she had lost her virginity to, none other than, Chuck Bass.

Chuck's mind was in pretty much the same place, thinking about how, after tonight, he would be the most experienced guy of all his friends. Maybe he would even be able to be more popular than Golden Boy Nate.

What happened next was kind of fuzzy for both of them. Neither one wanted to embarrass themself, but they also felt very excited about being this close with someone who seemed to understand them in a way no one else did.

It was a flurry of buttons and zippers being undone and soft giggles and sharp inhales as they both discovered new sensations.

Georgina broke off the kiss that she and Chuck were in the middle of and whispered something so quietly that Chuck had to stop and ask her to say it again.

"Is it going to hurt a lot?" Georgina was suddenly not so excited about doing something dangerous, now she was feeling pretty scared.

Chuck knew that sometimes it was painful for a girl to lose her virginity but he had tried not to think about that too much. He also didn't want to deal with a crying Georgina again tonight. "I'm not sure...probably not."

"Oh, okay."

As they continued on, there were soft assurances from both parties that they were alright and enjoying themselves. What really lasted for no more than ten minutes felt like an eternity. As they both finished and began to put themselves back together, they were both feeling very different emotions.

Chuck was shocked that it had been so easy. Everything seemed to come quite naturally once he quit overthinking and analyzing everything; he would have to do more of these freeing, spur-of-the-moment kinds of things.

As he rebuttoned his shirt and put his belt back on, he chuckled to himself; he had finally found something that he felt he was naturally good at, and by the looks of Georgina, she would agree. He felt almost giddy to make fun of all the guys for not being as mature as he now was. He wasn't bothered by the fact that he didn't feel butterflies or see the world through a soft golden tint. Chuck was content to know that he was finally a man and that he could prove it now.

Georgina, on the other hand, was feeling just about every emotion under the sun. She couldn't deny that it had felt weird and a little uncomfortable at the beginning, but it had also felt real and amazing at the same time.

As she brushed her long dark hair out, she realized that she had literally just lost her virginity to Chuck Bass. That was crazy, everyone would be so jealous of them; they were going to be the cutest couple in school. Even better than stupid Blair and Nate. She had already started planning their coordinating outfits for the next school dance when she was ripped from her fantasy by none other than Chuck himself.

"Hey, so, this was really great." He said as he finished running his comb through his hair. "I'll see you at school on Monday, maybe. Bye, G." He hadn't even turned to look back at her as he walked out of the room and down the hall.

She shook herself out of her stupid fantasy that she and Chuck would be the new it couple. 'I mean, honestly G, did you forget who you were talking about. He's Chuck Bass; caring isn't even his vocabulary,' she chastised herself for being so naive. But as Georgina sat on the edge of the bed, wondering how her night had ended so unexpectedly, she remembered the one thing that had gone right. Be whoever the hell you want. She decided that she wasn't going to let anyone else tell her who she was or who they thought she should be and if that made her a bad person- then why did she feel so good about it?

As she made her way out of the building, she started to become familiar with this new, confident, dangerous side of herself. Once she got in the car and saw her own reflection in the window, she knew that this was exactly who she wanted to be.
