Chapter Seven: after the first battle

Celestine is standing in a room with a white room and she looks around "Where am I?" She said confused and looks where there is a door with a small window, when she approaches there are two soldiers standing. "Hello, can you hear me?"

"Shut up!" Yells a soldier. Celestine is shocked from the scream but she heard some whimpering that caused her to look back and find a blonde girl who is dressed in a white cloth as if it were a dress, she is sitting hugging the teddy bear.

"Girl?" Celestine said pulling the blonde girl closer.

"That voice bothers me ..." The girl said crying. "It doesn't stop talking ..." She said looking up at Celestine, the girl's eyes are light blue like an ocean. "No ... no ... "

"Liana ..." Said a thick and threatening voice. Celestine pales and looks back where the room crumbles and a shadow widens and wraps around the ex-goddess "You are not my Liana ... you are an intruder ..."Celestine steps back but bumps into something where there are corpses that have black suits and different types of armor.

"What?" Celestine said scared that she was beginning to have many fears until she sees something where she sees three people arguing.

"This bitch killed the two secretaries!" Yells a woman in aqua armor with a feminine voice.

"Carolina calm down ... she had no choice ..."Said a man in black armor with line yellow.

"It was an option of my company boss ... the Director is not my president ... it is the direct order; no witnesses ..." Said the other Celestine who had a knife that had blood on it.

"But they were civilians!" Carolina yells angrily. "No wonder you have no life ... you do not feel remorse ..."

"I had it ..:" she said with a serious voice and looks at the ex-goddess "I had it ..."

Grace worried and wiped the sweat on Celestine's forehead, who was lying on the bed and breathing heavily.

"She has a high fever ..." Grace said, measuring the temperature by touching her forehead.

"What happened to Celestine?" Alice said worriedly, "I never saw Celestine sick ..."

"I don't know ... it was after Celestine screamed after Church was accidentally killed by that idiot Blue ..." Claudia said worriedly.

"No..was ... I didn't ..:" Celestine said muttering.

"She seems to be suffering from delusions ... but we will just let her rest ..." Grace said looking at Alicia and Claudia. "Let's leave the room ... Claudia will you stay with her ..."

"Ok ... I'll let you know any questions .."

Grace and Alicia leave the room and go outside the base where it reveals Caboose crouching next to Tucker, "Come in, Blue Command." Tucker said into the radio, "This is Blood Gulch Outpost Alpha. Do you read me?"

"What's wrong?" Alicia said and looks at Chloe who is in defense position looking from afar at the red base.

"Tucker is trying to communicate to the command ... and how is Celestine?" Olga said seriously.

"She's just recovering we'll let her rest for a while ..." Grace replied and looked at Caboose who was washing Tucker's armor as she spoke on the radio.

"Okay, that is the last of it." Caboose said as he got up, "Your armor is clean now!"

"Did you get all the black stuff off?" Tucker asked.

"You really are afraid of this black stuff!" Olga yells, complaining that the hour before; Tucker didn't want to pierce the teleporter on the black thing they were burning.

"Hush .. I hear the signal .." Tucker silences Olga, while more radio noises are heard.

We see Vic sitting at his control panel.

"This is Blue Command. Come in, Blood Gulch Outpost Alpha." answered.

[Hello, Commando! We need help!] Tucker said desperately.

"Roger that, Blood Gulch. What is your request?" asked Vic.

"We need heavy weapons!" Chloe yells broke into the conversation.

"We need a healer, we have a sick in the room!" Alicia yells.

"And don't forget to supply doctors so that we can treat her; we need green sarlangal herbs and sodium and red powder to revive her ..:" Grace said.

"And some wines ..." Olga said. Everyone looks at Olga "What ?, "Someone must drown sorrows, honor fire our superior who died an hour ago..." she said sarcastically and what she does not care that a human is dead.

"I don't know what the technical military term is for it, but, uh, we're pretty fucked up down here." responded the aqua soldier, "We need men!"

Hearing this made Vic pause for a moment before answering.

"... Dude, how long have you been down there?" Vic asked strangely about Tucker. "You don't like women more?"

"No, no, no, n-it's not like that!" Tucker frantically replied, "We need more men to help us."

[ Roger that. Did you get the tank we sent?] Vic checked.

"That Tank was driven by a retard-assassin from Team ..." Olga complains looking at Caboose.

"It was an accident, Drama Queenie ..." Caboose said lamentingly.

"Don't tell me Drama Quennie... for you It's Queen Olga ... did you hear me ... "Said Olga challenging Caboose.

"Yes madam Drama Queen ..." Caboose said innocently.

"It's Queen Olga, NOT DRAMA QUEEN!" Chloe yells as she chastised Caboose's idiot.

"Shut up your idiots!" Tucker yells angrily and returns with his radio "Yes, that exploded too."

"Wow. Sucks to be you" Vic said bluntly.

"Yes, we know." Tucker said sighing annoyed.

"Why do we have to face those reds ..." Grace said looking at the red base.

"Since they will probably respond to the attack ..." Chloe answered and looked at Alicia. "Why, your two allies didn't stop the reds!" Chloe yells referring to Kaguya and Maia.

"I don't know. They were standing on the side of that car where a man was shooting incessantly ..." Alicia answered and looks at Tucker "Are they going to come help?"

"Okay, here's what I can do. The nearest Blue forces can be there in 16 days, or I-" Vic said, before being interrupted.

" 16 days?" Tucker yelled in disbelief, "That's almost 2 weeks!"

Olga buried her face in her hands "These guys are going to give me an aneurysm out of sheer stupidity." Chloe gave her queen a consoling pat on the back.

"Or," Vic continued, "I can hire a nearby Freelancer and get him there within a few hours."

"I like the 'in an hour'". Caboose commented on according to that.

" Yes me too". Tucker also agreed, "Roger that, Command. We prefer the quicker solution."

"10-4, Blood Gulch. We'll contact Freelancer Tex and have them there post-haste. Command out." Vic replied as he cut off the transmission.

"Don't tell me someone is coming, it wouldn't be better if an army comes to help us .." Chloe complains reluctantly.

"But if my cousin is with them ..." Alicia murmurs annoyed looking at Chloe.

"Whoever he is, make sure he can fix a tank." Tucker added.

"What is a Professional Freelancer?" Asked Caboose.

"Freelancers are independent" Tucker answered .. "They are not red or blue. They are only weapons for hire that will fight for whoever has more money."

"Like a mercenary." Caboose pointed out.

"Mercenaries?" Olga asked, tilting her head to the side but suddenly caught sight of Tucker "Don't tell me we have to pay a mercenary to eliminate those reds?" Olga asked annoyed.

"If that Mercenary comes they will kill everyone and even your servant Luca .." Alicia commented remembering that Luca is with the reds. Olga and Chloe suddenly open their eyes to remember that Luca is here.

"Shit .." Olga and Chloe curse at the same time but realize they were rude. "Did we say that?" Both said to herself surprised.

"Mercenary, how many mercenaries are coming?" Grace asked about the number.

"Only one person named Tex is coming .." Tucker replied to Grace's question.

"But do he fight for money?" Caboose said innocently.

"Right. Or like your mom when the rent's due." Tucker jabbed.

"... Oh, that's funny." Caboose said after a moment.

"Eh..Caboose seems to me that Tucker insulted your mo .." Grace was going to correct but Alicia silences her.

"He's an idiot but let's let him figure it out ..." Alicia said in a whisper and frowns at Tucker.

"Yeah?" asked Tucker, "You didn't think that was too obvious?"

"No, no, not at all. It was- It was good." Caboose replied that he didn't understand anything.

"It seems to me that all of you are insane ... and I'm getting fed up with you .." Olga sighed annoyed.

"Calm Olga-sama any danger I will protect you ..:" Chloe said with a determined and firm voice like a loyal knight, Then, a ghostly image of Church faded into between Tucker and Caboose. and he was next to Chloe.

"Tucker ..." Church yelled in a ghostly voice, "Tucker ..."

Everyone looked at a ghost in shock but a person who would be Chloe looks at her side where this Chloe started jumping high with a cry of fear "! A GHOST !" She screams scared that land on Tucker's arms "! Make it disappear, make it disappear!" She screams scared, hugging Tucker unconsciously with fear that Chloe forgot her surroundings that left him perplexed that they are both in a Bridal-style position.

"Who the hell are you?" Tucker yelled surprised and happy at the same time that a hand was groping Chloe's butt that she didn't realize.

"I am the ghost of Church, and I am back with a warning!" The Church ghost replied.

"A warning, it must be important .." Olga said seriously but she realized "Are you Church?" She said looking with a frown.

"Church? Are you a ghost ?!" Alicia yells shocked when she saw a ghost the first time. Grace was shocked and hides behind Caboose's back.

"You are not Church! Church is blue. You are white!" the blue fledgling pointed.

"Rookie, shut up, man!" Church said, frustrated and letting out the phantom voice, "I'm a freakin' ghost! Have you ever seen a blue ghost before?"All the women stopped being surprised until Chloe's fear suddenly subsided.

"It's him, the grumpy idiot ..." Chloe said but realized that position was with Tucker.

"Yeah, that's definitely him." Tucker confirmed as his hand still touching Chloe's butt.

"Why are you touching me?" Chloe said angrily looking at Tucker.

"N-nothing ..." Tucker said nervously. Chloe elbows him hard in the face.

"Why are you carrying me ?!" Chloe yells angrily and gets out of the arms of the pervert aqua-marine and cleans herself of dust all over her body.

"Now I gotta start over again." Church grumbled before clearing his throat and going back into his ghost voice, "Tucker… Tucker…! I've come back with a warning!"

"Is it really necessary to do the voice?"" Tucker questioned.

"Enough, it's very annoying and a waste of time .." Olga said annoyed.

"You said you brought warning ..." Alicia crosses her arms.

"Yeah, it's kinda annoying." agreed Caboose.

" All right." Church said, putting the ghost act aside again: "Okay, here's the warning: I've come back from the dead to give you a warning about Tex. Don't let ..."

"What is the warning?" Caboose interrupted.

"Shut up for a second and I'll tell you!" Church snapped.

"Oh sorry," Caboose said quietly.

"Seriously, man. I mean, I'm coming back from the great beyond here. Do you think this is easy? It's not." Church ranted, "It's not like, just, you know, pop in and out whenever I feel like it, it takes a lot of concentration."

"If it weren't for the fact that I saw how he died, I'd be surprised if he even came back," thought Olga

" Sorry." Caboose apologized again.

"I mean, it's bad enough that you killed me to begin with but now I come back and I can't get a word in edgewise, man." Church took a deep breath, "Okay, here's the deal-"

"Is this the warning?" the blue fledgling interrupted again.

"Alright, that's it. I swear to god, Caboose, your ass is haunted. When we're done here, I'm gonna haunt you and you, Drama Queen." Church looked at Caboose and then at Olga.

"Why, what did I do to you, you damn ghost ..." Olga growls annoyed being cursed by a grumpy ghost. "If I had my powers I would turn you into a species of particles that you yourself will not recognize!"

"Oh, I'm scared, I'm being bewitched by an ugly and bitch witch ..." Church said sarcastically.

"Grumpy!" Yells Olga angrily. Chloe begins to wave insults.

"Ah. Look at that little bitch giving me signs of insults!" Shouts Church angrily looking at the two ex-dark elves.

"Yeah, they're even starting to bother me." agreed the water soldier.

"Shouldn't you tell Tucker not to be so hard on Caboose and Olga or something?" Grace asked Alicia, catching her off guard.

"Who cares." Alicia intervened.

"Okay," Church cut off Olga's discussion. "Tucker. You remember that I told you that I was stationed on Sidewinder before they transferred me here to Blood Gulch, right?" asked the ghost of Church.

"No," Tucker said bluntly.

"Sidewinder? Isn't that the ice planet?" the blue fledgling pointed out.

"Ice planet?" Said Olga and the others who never heard the word * Planet *

"It's a planet, Did you ever study geography?..." Tucker said looking at the women. "I imagine you were saying that our planet is flat ..." Tucker said jokingly.

"Of course, our planet is flat ..." Alicia answered seriously attending along with the women. leaving Tucker not speaking for a second.

"What school did they go to?" Tucker asked strangely.

"She taught me to a church teacher .." Alicia answered honestly.

"I just studied on my own ..." Olga said seriously. Chloe and Grace do not want to answer but returning to Church who recently answered it angrily.

"Yes," Church replied.

"Great! How was that?" Caboose asked excitedly.

"Um ... it was cold." Church's ghost said bluntly.

" That's it?" Caboose pressed, "Just cold?"

"What do you want from me? A poem?" Church asked, annoyed, "It's a planet made entirely out of ice. It's really.. fuckin'.. Cold."

"Will you let him talk?" Tucker asked the blue soldier. Hoping he wouldn't get any more interruptions from Caboose.

"Okay, well ..." Church began to narrate, the camera faded to a view of the Blue Base on Sidewinder. "One day, when I was there, everything was just like normal. I remember.. I was out on patrol with my partner, Jimmy. That Jimmy was a real good kid. Everybody liked him."

"D'ya think I was a good kid, Church?" asked Tucker.

"Tucker, don't be jealous, man. Just listen to the story, okay?" the ghost chided the water soldier lightly. "Like I said, the guys were hanging around, waiting for some action, complaining about the cold or ... "

"Man, it's fucking cold." said one of the Sidewinder Blues.

"I hope we have some action." agreed another.

"Anyway, Jimmy was in the middle of telling me all about this girlfriend he had at home" Church continued narrating.

"Yes, as soon as I return, I will kneel down and ask you to marry me," said a soldier, speaking with a southern highland accent.

"Aww ..." Grace said remembering her late husband proposing to her.

"What a nice person that you guys ..." Alicia said.

"Yuk ..." Olga is disgusted with the human love relationship.

"And that's when Tex showed up." A soldier in active camouflage moves in front of Jimmy and Church."Private Mickey was the first to go. He was halfway across the base when all of sudden he started screaming bloody murder…"

"Bloody murder!" one of the soldiers shouted, spinning in circles and shooting wildly, "Bloody murder!"

Everyone sweats drops at the scream of the soldier but the only one who had fun listening to the story is Chloe.

"I want to learn from this guy ... I kill them coldly ..." Choe said muttering.

"Maybe I remove them ..:" Grace also murmured smiling but she realized what she said "Nothing, I didn't say anything ..:"

a blue soldier who fires an assault rifle and is hit from behind by a camouflaged Tex.

"It was all over before it started." The camera skips Tex killing another Blue, before switching to Jimmy and Church firing their guns.

"Poor Jimmy was the last one to go. Tex walked up to him, pulled Jimmy's skull right out of his head, and beat him to death with it." The description of the death resulted in the camera cutting Tucker from the flashback in Blood Gulch.

""Wait a second.." The aqua soldier questioned, "how do you beat someone to death with their own skull? That doesn't seem physically possible."

"Really?" Alice asked incredulously "Did he do all that?"

"That's exactly what Jimmy kept yelling at." Church replied.

The camera then cuts to Tex hitting Jimmy with his own skull.

"This doesn't seem physically possible!" the Sidewinder Blue yells, before falling to the ground, dead, "Hurk! Bleh ..."

Everyone sweats but the only one who didn't sweat was Chloe and Grace.

"Maybe it's worth knowing him..." Chloe said, affirming with interest of that person Tex. "This is how he teaches me how to remove the skull from a human .."

"He would be an excellent killer .." Grace replied smiling.

"Bottom line is, these Freelancers, they're bad news, and Tex is one of the worst."Church finishes explaining the warning.

"If it's so bad, why didn't he kill you?" Olga asked seriously since she is the only one listening to warning.

The camera then cuts to Church standing alone on Sidewinder, then scrolls to reveal the ground covered in blood and corpses.

"To tell ya, I don't know why I'm not dead." admitted the ghost of Church, "Coulda killed me at any point. ...But maybe it's because Tex and I have run into each other once before."

" Where?" Tucker asked.

"You, uh.. you remember that girl I told you about, back home? Well, let's just say that Tex is the real reason why we never got married." Church explained.

"Don't tell me ..." Grace and Alicia gasp for air.

"Guys, I'm fading fast, and I don't know when I'll be back. Just listen to my warning. Don't let Tex get involved here."Church insisted.

" It's okay." Tucker said.

" I mean it, Tucker. No fighting, no scouting, nothing. You'll regret it…"Church warned one last time before fading away.

" So ...!" Tucker turned to Caboose and the women, "Tex and Church were after the same girl."

"I told you his girlfriend was a whore." said caboose

"Don't say it that way ... there must be a reason for this fight ..." Alicia said defending the honor of Church's girlfriend.

"Gross, don't tell me it's a love triangle ... I think I'm going to vomit ...:" Chloe said pretending to vomit.

"Chloe don't tell me you disgust romance stuff ..." Tucker commented to Chloe.

"Romance is for the weak, so I don't want to give you an answer .." Chloe answered seriously.

"If you want I can teach you to love ..." Tucker tried to flirt for the eleventh time.

"One more step, I'll rip out your own skull like Tex did ..." Chloe threatened giving an eleventh threat to Tucker. Olga sighs annoyed.

"I don't believe in this grunt story, as he can describe something that doesn't exist like ripping out skull in such a cruel way ..." Olga said without believing in Church.

"I don't think we'll find that Tex to kill us or my friends, how bad can it be ..." Alicia commented.

"Right behind you ..:" Said a thick voice. Everyone looks at the owner of the voice and it was a person in black armor with a gold visor, that person is Tex.

Claudia looked at Celestine who was muttering something with confused words but was sweating incessantly. Claudia was very worried a but she notice something under the pillow. She reaches down her hand and takes out something that is a folder.

"What is that?" Claudia said and opened the folder and there was something that stood out in the two people with photos. "Oh no ..." Claudia read the two information that are highlighted with some ink.

"A daughter of the Italian mafia, she was heir to her father and her hobbies are stealing cars and doing illegal businesses and also sabotage of the law." The photo was of a woman with an Afro-American trait but her skin is tanned and she has blonde hair with a ponytail that Claudia recognized right away

"Why is Chloe here?" Claudia said reading the first report of the person. "The recruit was caught for doing business with the pirates using stolen weapons, the UNCS had no choice but to give it to the Freelancers project ... what the heck is it Freelancer ... "She also read another report from the other person who has the same face and is Grace." The Sergeant suffers post-trauma hugging her dead partner without realizing that he was dead. She has certain delusions and certain tastes in gutting enemies, the UNCS gave the Freelancer project .. "

Claudia without noticing Celestine gets out of bed. Claudia looks up and is happy to see that her goddess is fine "Thank heaven you woke up ..." She said in a relieved way but Celestine saw in Claudia's hands that she was holding the folder, she responded by hitting her face. Claudia falls to the ground on her back and looks up looking at Celestine's face, who had a serious and cold expression. "You are not Celestine-sama ..." She said with fear.

"I'm the captain ... it's time for your rest ..." Celestine said with a serious and threatening voice raising her foot knocking Claudia out. "Well ... it seems that we have a certain task in eliminating those responsible for killing Elipson. . "Claudia puts on her helmet and stretches her back." Caboose ... I swear I'll kill you ... "

Captain Celestine leaves the room leaving Claudia knocked out and slamming the door.
