Chapter Eight: Two Souls Within One Body

At the Base of the Reds.

We see Sarge and Grif standing next to the Warthog, which is now sideways behind the Red Base. López is bent over him, repairing him, as evidenced by the pipe wrench in the background.

"And then I thought, you know, we could sneak around the side while they were hiding behind the rock, but uh, well that's when the tank showed up and.. shit just started blowin' up. I don't know." the orange soldier sighed as he finished his explanation. Sarge exhales in exasperation..

"Grif, do you have any godly idea how much this piece of equipment costs?"Sergeant Red asked.

"I-I don't know," the orange soldier stammered, "uh, like, uh, what.. ten, ten.. twenty, twenty-five bucks, maybe? Uh, you-you're gonna kill me now, aren't you?""From far away were Prim, Anna, Ruu Maia and Kaguya looking at Grif.

"He's in serious trouble." Kaguya asked Maia.

"He will kill him ..." Maia replied looking at Grfi who was somewhat cornered.

"Probably." everyone chanted. returning with Sarge and Lopez about to punish Grif.

"Tell you what, Grif, I'm a fair man. I'll give you a ten second head start here before I let Lopez do anything he wants to ya." Sarge replied, indicating the brown soldier behind him. Upon hearing this, Lopez stopped working and stood up to face Grif.

"Guys, I just want you to know, I'm really, really sorry here, and-" Grif tried to amend, only for Lopez to put down his tool and pull out a gun.

"Five Mississippi. Six Mississippi". Sarge said.

"Less talking, more running!". Maia yells advising Grif.

"Okay, uh, I guess I better go then." Grif said as he began to back away. Lopez and Sarge looked at each other, then turned and began shooting Grif off-screen.

"Hey guys, that's not funny! Someone could get hurt here." Grif called from off the screen.

"Hahhaahah!" Ruu-Ruu laughs out loud looking at his sergeant and the other one shooting at Grif.

"I hope they didn't hit something serious on his body .." Prim said worriedly and looks at Maia who is worried.

"Hey girls ..." Said a female voice. Maia and the others look back to find Luca who was missing during the first Blood Gutch match.

"Where were you?" Asks Maia in a hostile way.

"I was outside keeping watch .." Luca said innocently.

"Don't make the list, Prim told us that you had 'business' in the city that neither of us went to ..." Ruu-Ruu gets defensive.

"Hey why so hostile to me, I didn't do anything ..." Luca defends himself by walking back but Anna got behind her.

"I'm sorry Luca, I feel like you're hiding something ..." Anna said seriously.

"We demand that you tell us the truth .." Kaguya said approaching Luca.

"Uff..well but don't be nervous .." Luca began to explain why.

At the base of the Blues

We see where Tex is shooting something while Tucker stood with his companions that would be Chloe, Olga, Alicia and Grace looking at the mercenary, Tucker could finish his explanation about the current situation.

"That's basically it, sir. They have five guys and six women in there and a big jeep." summed up the water soldier.

"And your flag." Tex added, his voice heavily distorted and reloaded.

"Well, that too." Tucker admitted as Tex threw a grenade at something.

"Uh, huh, Tex?" Alice asked fearfully, "I don't know what it's been like at your other bases, but we try not to use other soldiers as target practice here."The camera then panned to reveal that Tex had been shooting Caboose.

" I'm scared". The blue rookie said as he stood completely still, surrounded by bullet marks on the wall behind him.

"you could try shooting in the head .." Chloe suggested interested in Tex's talent.

"Chloe!" Alicia and Grace yell, offended that the elf has hatred towards Caboose. Tex goes to check various weapons, and Caboose runs over to the women's side.

"So it was necessary to practice shots ... they were very accurate ..." Olga said as she was surprised that Tex shot without hitting Caboose while Tucker was talking to Tex.

"So, you've got the Special Forces black armor, I see." Tucker pointed out, "Were you in the Special Forces at some point?" Tex did not respond, and instead just looked at Tucker while reloading a gun. "Yeah, I used to have black armor too. It was black because I got this stuff all over it from th-" Tucker tried to continue before Tex ran off. Tucker tried to continue before Tex ran off. "Oh, okay, you gotta go? I'll see you later."

"I don't think he likes you." Caboose whispered out loud.

"I don't like him either." Grace and Alicia said at the same time, causing the two of them to look at each other again.

" ... Thank you." Tucker replied sarcastically. The pair of blue soldiers then ran to the edge of the base.

" Where are you going?" Tucker asked.

"Red Base. Kill everybody. Get the flag back." The black mercenary replied and Grace turn pale thinking that if that black Mercenary kills Prim and Anna it will be a tremendous problem and a bloodbath massacre.

"It would not be better than if some of us were with you during the mission to recover the flag .." Alicia said fearfully. "I will be your partner to support you .."

"I don't need your help .." Tex said rejecting Alicia's help.

"Maybe I can go with you ..." Said a voice seriously. Tex looks at the person and stands firm in a fighting position .. "Hi Tex ..." she said seriously approaching Tex, that person is Celestine with a different tone. Grace looks at Celestine but she was alone and wondered where she was Claudia.

"Celestine-sama, we don't want you to go!" Alicia yells.

"Shut up worried blonde, and I'm not your goddess bitch ..." Celestine answered scolding Alicia who left her with mouth open.

"Wow ... Celestine has a dirty mouth ..." Tucker said surprised to hear her.

"And you piece of jerk stop loafing and start tidying up the base!" Celestine yells giving order to Tucker. "I know you were masturbating at night behind the rock in front of the base, that was disgusting!" .

"Oh god my secrets were revealed!" Shouts Tucker embarrassed.

"Celestine, what's wrong with you?" Said Olga dumbfounded.

"Shut up, follow my order if you want to live or else I will punish you with my discipline teaching the law of my strength ..." Celestine threatens the other blue ones while looking murderously at Caboose "From now on call me Captain Celestine, you understand ..."

"Understood ..." Grace, Alicia and Tucker said at the same time taking the order. Olga would be very shocked about Celestine's new personality. The true personality was kind and gentle but now she is already a harsh and cruel person with her words.

"Tex, I'll be your support partner so we slaughter the reds ..." Celestine takes out the rifle that will take out the safety of the weapon "We recover the flag ..."

"Got it, let's go Celestine ... I'll go ahead ..." Tex answers running forward and Celestine follows her from behind to run towards the base of the reds.

"Oh... Okay! We'll just stay here and guard the trans.. Porter…" Caboose replied, uncertainty in his voice, Olga looks at the affected Alicia and Tucker are in shock.

"She knew I did my stuff ..." Tucker muttered sheepishly.

"I am never called a bitch ... why goddess ... why goddess ..." Alicia covered her face. Olga again looks at Tex and Celestine from afar and frowns.

"Chloe, go to Celestine's room and find Claudia ..." Olga said seriously.

"Yes Madam ..." Chloe gets off the roof.

At the base of the reds.

We see Grif at the top of Red Base.

"So, Sarge thought my strategy had merit, but was poorly executed, probably because somebody didn't believe in it." said the orange soldier, turning to look pointedly at Simmons

"Bullshit." denied the maroon trooper."He told me he thought you were a retarded monkey and that he will suspend your gun privileges."

"Hey, since I captured the flag, d'ya think they'll give me my own color armor now?" asked Donut, who was still holding the flag.

"What do you mean 'captured'?" asked Simmons, "You thought you were buying it at the store, you idiot."

"Still, you think there's a shot?" the rookie pressed.

"Maybe they'll give you Grif's armor, since he destroyed the Warthog." joked the maroon trooper.

"Hyeah," Grif laughed long, before a sort of realization hit him, "heh-wait... You don't.. You don't think they'd do that, do you?"

Donut looks at the ground that they are outside the base, where the women are arguing. "It seems to me that they are bullying the girl who recently came ..." Donut said that he is referring to Luca, Donut would be looking at the group arguing with Luca. Simmons and Grif walk to the edge of the base looking at the girls.

"Oh god ... I hope they don't fight for me ..." Grif said jokingly.

"Who said would fight for you ..." Simmons said answering Grif.

"But they can't hear us from that distance ..." Grif commented.

"No one is fighting for you!" Shouts the red women except Prim.

"Hey don't get involved, we're arguing over something personal!" Maia yells at Grif.

"If you girls are having the girl talk why don't you go on a hookup elsewhere instead of arguing about your periods!" Grif yells.

"Hey you shouldn't comment on periods it's very natural for them ..." Simmons said defending women.

"It's for them to talk to each other in a group but it's normal for them .." Donut commented.

"What does that mean?" Maia said threatening the three rabble.

"Nothing!" Grif, Simmons and Donut yells at the same time, looking away from the women.

"These guys are weird ..." Kaguya said with an annoyed sigh and looked back at Luca. "Then tell us that you are cooperating with the voice of some Who's rumbling in your head? "She asked Luca.

"Yes ..." Luca answers affirming.

"Hahaha..How funny are you going to tell us that you're crazy?" Ruu-Ruu said that she doesn't believe the dark elf.

"It's true ... our minds are linked by something, a week ago, I was against ...

I felt bad with a headache ...

Luca was sitting on the roof of the red base and had a migraine.

It would seem as if my brain were to disappear ...

Luca's eyes closed slowly because of where the pain in her head numbed consciousness.

When I close my eyes ...

Luca opens her eyes again and finds himself in a different place.

I was in a different place but everything was gray and I find myself doing things like illegal jobs like hitmen do ...

Luca was looking at her other 'Me' who was talking on the phone and her face was serious and also made a funny face while talking.

I saw myself smiling but this was all fun talking to someone and then doing things that were unbelievable ...

Luca watches the other me enter the bar where she raises her weapon killing the men in black suits who respond by raising their weapons.

It seems that I was dreaming of killing people in black suits who had the same weapons what we have but on the contrary, it is different, but I wanted to wake up but all this went dark and suddenly I open my eyes finding myself on the same roof of the base where I was. ..

Luca looked around that it was morning about sunrise.

But I was wondering if it was a dream until I lowered my eyes to see that my boots were covered in something that dried for hours ...

Luca looks at her feet that are with drops of blood.

I had killed someone and it wasn't really a dream ..

"So someone possessed you ..." Kaguya drew a deduction. Luca affirms quickly. "Interesting ... the voices that are ... are the owners of our bodies ..."

"The owners of the bodies?" They all said at the same time except for Prim who said nothing.

"The owners of the bodies ... I mean, I'm not the only one who had complications with internal voices ... those voices that belong to a person called Asuna that she complains of many times and I ignore her but she bothers me in my dreams ... "Kaguya explained her experience with the inner voice called Asuna.

"Wow I thought I was crazy ..." Maia sighs somewhat relieved. "I thought I was the only one who spoke with air ... but actually I was talking to Mairaka four days ago since I took that strange drug ..." Maia also explained her experience.

"Wait a doubt ... what would happen if those souls fully recovered their bodies that would happen with our souls outside of those bodies ..." Anna asked fearfully.

"Those rejected souls will go into oblivion where they will be corrupted ..." Kaguya answered seriously. "Rather, they will disappear forever ..."

"Argh!" Yells Maia, Prim and Anna screaming with headaches upon hearing Kaguya's deduction.

"I don't want to go!" Maia yells in a different tone.

"I don't want to leave without saying goodbye to my Coach!" Cries Prim in fear.

"No, I don't want to go!" Anna yells. "My motherland needs me!" She screams in panic but with Russian language.

The four affected were shocked to say something that was not really them, but other people who would be their original bodies, but Kaguya felt a pang of her heart.

"I don't want to go ... I don't want to leave without saying goodbye to Simmons .." Kaguya mutters in a different tone with fear. Ruu-Ruu and Luca see their friends in different reactions.

"Is it me or are you all crazy?" Ruu-Ruu said confused.

"Those were them ..." Maia said, shocked with herself. "Don't tell me what they are trying to snatch our bodies ..."

"No ... they are trying to 'recover' their bodies ..." Kaguya corrected Maia's reply.

"You do have internal voices. Why I'm the only one who's fine and without hearing the voice ..." Ruu-Ruu answers by asking.

"Didn't you pay attention?" Kaguya said with a frown.

"Well that voice said something strange like Wundebar ... and other confusing things ..." Ruu-Ruu said some phrases. "But I understood a bit that an idiot ..." Ruu-Ruu said confused.

Flashback

"Gib mir meinen Körper zurück! Verdammter Eindringling! Gib mir meinen Körper zurück! It's ist nicht Deines!" Shouts an internal voice that rumbles inside Ruu-Ruu's head who was ignoring the annoying voice.

She ate her ration no matter what.

"Ahhh that was the voice ..." Ruu-Ruu said understanding Kaguya's slogan.

"You really should pay attention ..." Kaguya said patting myself her face.

"But Celestine and the others could be going the same way ..." Anna said worriedly.

"Let's just hope that if one of them is able to control her internal voice ... because we don't know what types of people we are inside ..." Kaguya replied.

then we see Sarge standing behind Lopez and he sees him fixing the Warthog / Puma while listening to a pipe wrench in the background.

"Try connectin' that hose to that metal thingy there." Sarge suggested, causing Lopez to stop and stand up."I think that's what's makin' that rattle." the sergeant continued. Lopez wordlessly turned to face Sarge."I think I'll let you do it." Lopez returned to his work. Meanwhile a shimmer can be seen as an invisible Tex runs by behind them." What the hell ...?" Sarge seemed to feel something, "What was that?" he wondered when he saw nothing but did not notice that Captain Celestine passed behind Sarge without being seen by him.

So back to the red women.

"Well ... I'll go back to those idiots ..." Luca said annoyed, entering the base again.

Ruu-Ruu noticed where a person was approaching "Is it Celestine-Sama?"

Simmons, what's going on? What's over there?"Grif see something in out base.

"I thought I saw something for a second." Simmons replied, looking over the edge of the base. "But I didn't see anything ..."

"Celestine-sama, it's nice to see you but what are you doing here ..." Prim said approaching Celestine. Maia felt something tingle on the back of her neck.

"Something's wrong ..." Maia said something worried and looks at Kaguya who also pulled Celestine closer.

"You shouldn't be here ..." Kaguya said suggesting to Celestine.

Then we see the invisible Tex who is under the base, before returning to Grif.

"Hey rookie, tuck the flag someplace safe until we can figure out what's goin' on." the orange soldier instructed.

"Good idea. I was sick of carrying this thing anyway." said Donut, before turning and dropping the flag into the middle of the base

Maia and Anna looked at Celestine who didn't answer anything. Prim and Kaguya were about two feet apart.

Captain Celestine began to study the women "They are not hostile, they are only naive, stupid and rather not a amateurs of the UNCS military ..." she said thinking

"Don't hurt them!" Yells an internal voice that was fear and terror. "They are my friends!" It was the voice of the ex-Goddess Celestine.

"You will see some blood from your friends ..." she said mentally giving comment to the ex-goddess.

"Nooooo!" she yells crying.

Returning to where Tex who was looking up while Grif and Simmons kept looking from the edge of the base.

" Did you hear that?" asked the garnet soldier.

"Yes."

"Hey! What's going on?" Donut whispered. Under the base. Tex throws a plasma grenade, then at a sight of Grif and Simmons from behind when Grif turns around.

"What the fuck?" said the confused soldier turning to reveal Donut with the plasma grenade stuck to his helmet.

" What?" asked the Red rookie.. Simmons then turns around as well.

" What is that thing?" He asked himself.

"What is that thing?" Donut asked, concern in his voice.

"There is something in your head." Grif said fearfully. Luca appears climbing.

"What's up, oh ..." Luca said before looking at Donut with a grenade stuck to his helmet.

"What, is it a spider? Get it off!" Donut yells scared.

"No, it's not a spider, it's, like a.. blue thing." Simmons said.

"What, like a blue spider?" asked Donut, "Get it off!"

"It's not a spider! Calm down. It's some kinda.. fuzzy, pulsating thing." Grif tried to clarify.

"Rookie..don't be alarmed..it's not a spider, it's worse ..." Luca said fearfully knowing that it is a grenade.

"That doesn't sound much better than a spider." the red rookie pointed out.

"Does it hurt?" Simmons asked.

" No."

"Idiot, if it isn't a spider!" Luca yells.

"Maybe we should try to take it off." suggested Simmons

"Good idea." agreed Grif, "Go for it."

"Me? By 'we' I meant 'you'. Asshole." the maroon soldier retorted.

"Guys are wasting the time!" Luca yells with anger and fear.

"Well somebody needs to get it off. Look, it might be dangerous." said Donut. Just before the grenade exploded..

KABOOOM

"Sons of a bitch!" Grif and Simmons yell in shock. Luca looks at someone.

"Intruder!" Luca yells in alarm.

Maia, Ruu-Ruu and Anna looked up where they heard an explosion.

"Sim- Where did he go?" Grif asked, more sounds of people being beaten can be heard "Don't kill me, I'm too handsome to die!" yelled the orange soldier.

"Grif!" Maia yells and looks at Anna. "We have company, Kaguya takes Celestine to safety!" Maia yells turning but suddenly Celestine raised her fist towards Prim "Prim watch out!"

"Eh?" Prim said looking towards Celestine.

THUMP !

The punch sent her flying where Prim crashes into the base wall.

"Prim!" Kaguya yells and looks back at Celestine "What's wrong!"

Celestine jumped up with a side kick towards Kaguya's face.

THUMP !

Celestine knocked out the two red recruits but where she pulled out her DMR pistol and pointed it at Prim "You guys are useless ..." She said seriously before pulling the trigger.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Shouts the goddess Celestine in horror

BANG! (Pistol noise)

BOOM! (Shotgun noise)

At the base of the Blues.

The blues heard the gunshots but until Chloe came with Claudia.

"Claudia, what the hell happened, why is Celestine being so cruel?" Olga said asking.

"I'm not Claudia ... I'm Loreilia ..." Claudia said but her voice is different than that, they were shocked. "I feel like your friends are in danger ..." She said seriously.

The tip of the shotgun came out smoke that it recently fired. Ruu-Ruu wanted to shoot Celestine but couldn't hit her as she was pushed by someone.

Celestine was upright on her back being strained by someone where Prim was face to face. she held the pistol together with Celestine's hand.

"How dare you hit me and shoot me, the Kickboxing champion?" Prim said with a different tone that is threatening.
