(Clinton POV)
I woke up yawning a bit tired as I sat up rubbing my eyes as I looked at the clock beside my bed and saw that it was only five in the morning. I stretched a bit tired as I got out of bed and got ready for the day. I took a shower and slipped on a gray shirt with a small ticci toby on it, black jeans, and my favorite black high top basketball shoes after I got that done I went downstairs and head into the kitchen as I opened the fridge seeing that there are still some eggs, bacon and some juice for a good breakfast as I grabbed the bacon and eggs then started cooking as I knew the moment the three smelled these they were gonna wake up as I plugged my phone into the speaker as music began playing as I went back to cooking.
(Kelly POV)
I heard the clock ring as I groaned hearing that as I reached out and turned it off before standing grumbling about having my dream interrupted. I got up and looked into the mirror as I sighed thinking of the dream I had. I was in an open meadow with the girl I met last night which let me extremely confused. I only met her once, I can't have feelings for her besides she didn't see past my mask which is a bit of a relief since that was the last thing I need. I mean I wasn't expecting to meet her all of a sudden. She was beautiful though.
"Kelly mind waking up the others" I heard Clinton tell me as I remembered that we don't have to yell when we aren't close since we have these small speakers inside each room as I groaned at having to wake up our two deep sleepers.
"Fine..." I told him as I took a shower before putting on a black shirt with a black fox on it, blue jeans, and my grey running shoes as I slipping on my bracelet with a small clock on it as I left my room to wake up the others.
(Bri POV)
I was looking around seeing that I was back at the beach again this time with a young woman as I looked at her somewhat familiar before I felt myself being shaken as I blinked slowly trying to wake up as I saw Kelly shaking me awake smirking as I wondered what she was smirking about.
"Nice dream?" She asked me as I sat up rubbing my eyes.
"Yes, I did. How could you tell?" I ask her curiously since I was sure I wasn't talking in my sleep. Again.
"You were smiling like an idiot. Now come on, Clint cooking breakfast and I don't know about you but I rather get there since I'm gonna grab a lot" Kelly said smirking as she left before I shake my head at her as I decided to get ready for the day after I took a quick bath. I looked through my closet as I put on a blue shirt with gray jeans as I quickly slipped on my black sneakers as I put on my Jane The Killer necklace as I went downstairs passing by Kelly who was holding a water gun in one hand as I didn't even want to think about what she was planning.
(Bella POV)
I jolted up from the bed as I was soaking wet as I saw Kelly laughing as I noticed the water gun in her hand as I glared at her as I got out of my bed as Kelly noticed before she ran out of the door as I gritted my teeth in frustration at her since this was the fourth time she did to try to wake me up.
"KELLY!" I shouted as I heard her laughing as I shake my head at her before I decided to just get ready as I got out of my room after putting on a white shirt under a green sweater and a pair of faded blue jeans with my usual trainers as I had my Rose hairpin in my hair as I thought about today. It was our first day at a new school which meant that we had to find some way to make sure no one notices who we are as I saw Bri who looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Kelly?" Bri asked simply as if it was a common thing which it was at this point.
"Pretty much" I told her as we talked about what we were expecting from today as we went downstairs.
(Clinton POV)
I heard Bella yell as I sighed knowing that Kelly decided to use the water gun again. I went back to cooking when I heard Kelly come rushing down laughing as she went to the fridge and frowned as I could feel her looking at me as I knew what she was thinking.
"I know. I'm going to the Grocery Store later and you're joining with me" I said to her hoping to appease her as she pouted at the fact she has to join me later before I went back to cooking as I heard Bri and Bella talking about what to expect from school as I placed their plates on the table as I placed the juice there.
"Alright, you two. List down what you want from the Supermarket. Me and Kelly are gonna head there later and Kelly stop pouting" I said to Kelly as she started eating as I did the same as I looked at them. After we finished eating, I got up and started heading upstairs as the others followed suit as I went into my room and grabbed my bag and put on my black hoodie jacket and grabbed my phone along with my headphones as I headed to the garage as I saw the others already there.
"Anyone forget anything?" I asked them before Kelly and Bri light up as they run up to their room as they came back with Kelly now wearing a red hoodie sweater with her red headphones as Bri was wearing a blue jacket over her shirt with a book in her hand as I grabbed the keys to the Mazda 5 while Bri grabbed the keys to her white Nissan GT-R as she went over to it.
Kelly got in with Bri while Bella joined me. I opened the garage while I was thankful I made sure the doors were locked as we pulled out into the driveway as the garage closed it's door as we started driving to school
"So...Think you're gonna run into those Vampires you met in the woods?" Bella asked me while I focused on the road. I was unsure about it but since they looked like teenagers it means they need to blend in with the community.
"Probably. They're trying to live a life here which means they have to go to school. I just hope I'm not tempting fate by saying what are the chances of me and Kelly getting the same class as the two we met" I said to Bella who looked at me when I said that.
"You just jinxed yourself now" Bella said to me as I blinked at that. I sighed knowing she was right. What have I done.
(Kelly POV)
I looked out the window listening to the playlist on my phone as I let my thoughts wander as I tried to figure out the chances of me meeting that girl I met yesterday when I felt Bri tap on my shoulder as I placed my headphones around my neck.
"Something wrong Bri?" I asked her curiously as she was focusing on driving.
"So...Gonna tell me about that vampire girl you saw yesterday?" Bri asked me as I looked at her surprised at the fact she was even asking that. I always thought that Bri was the one last person to ask me that and that Clint or even Bella was gonna be the first to ask me.
"Not much. She was beautiful but I needed to get out of there when a muscular vampire came out of the woods. I had to leave since I couldn't fight both" I said to her shrugging as Bri snorted hearing that.
"You can't always fight besides what if you somehow bumped into her?" Bri asked me which made me froze since I couldn't even say a proper sentence in front of her. I stopped at that thought since when did I care about me trying to form a sentence in front of a girl. Sure she was attractive but when did that matter.
"We're here" Bri said as I saw we were a bit early as Bri parked the car next to the one Clinton and Bella took as I saw they were waiting for us. I got out as I felt a sudden urge to punch Clinton as I did just that as he rubbed his arm.
"What was that for?" He asked me confused before I turned to Bella knowing she knows why.
"He said what are the chances of you and him meeting the two vampires you met" Bella said as I glared at him at this point. There was one rule none of us would break, no matter what we shouldn't tempt fate.
"I'm sorry. I forgot about the rule" Clint said which I just groaned knowing he did something that he shouldn't have as I looked at them before looking around.
"So...If we did meet them, what's the plan?" I asked him as he was the one to usually come with a plan that works at times.
"There's no plan. We just act normal around them and make sure we don't leak the fact we know they're vampires" He said to us. I sighed knowing that was one of his stupider plans.
"Well...How can we recognize them?" Bri asked us which made I stop at that point as she was right. What are the chances of each one having those golden eyes. I quickly snapped out of it wondering why I keep thinking that.
"They tend to be pale with Gold or Red eyes. So if you see those signs they might be one. Also, be careful, one of them can read minds. So whatever you do, don't make your thoughts know that we know what they are. We can drop hints but not give out full-blown answers" He said to us as I had to concede at that point. It was a good plan since we don't want to spook them. Don't get me wrong, I'm not that easy but it wouldn't hurt getting to know her. We saw that other people were arriving as we saw some cars started to fill the parking lot.
"What classes do you guys have first?" Bri asked us as we looked at our schedule since we didn't get to yesterday. I have Trigonometry and Calculus. I looked at their schedules and saw only Bella has that class for now. At least I'll know someone there.
"Me and Bella have Trigonometry and Calculus with a Mr. Varner" I said to them as Bella smiled at me as I nodded back since Clinton has English and Bri has Spanish which meant we would be separated for the first and fifth period since Clint decided to take Music which I have as a second class while Bri took Drawing which Bella has for her second while I have Spanish for our fourth period while Bella had English then for our last period was Biology while we have Gym for our third period.
"Come on. We better head inside" Bella said as we headed inside as a guy greeted us which just startled us as we didn't expect him.
"You four are the new people that moved into town right? You're Bella Swan, the police chief daughter? I'm Eric, the eyes and ears of this place. Anything you need. Tour guide, lunch date, shoulder to cry on." Eric said as I rolled my eyes as he was trying to impress us which won't work since Me and Bri are more into girls and Bella is harder to impress now while Clint just listened in.
"No thanks, Eric. While appreciated, we kinda have each other to count on. I'm Clinton by the way, the two girls are Kelly and Bri" Clint said to him kindly as I still can't believe that someone so innocent and is genuine exist.
"Good headline for your feature. I'm on the paper, and you're news, baby, front page" Eric said as we exchanged nervous looks at what he said.
"We...no, We're not news. We really don't want to stand out" Bella said as I smirked. Glad to see that I broke her out of that shell of hers.
"Whoa, chillax. No feature" Eric said as I was a bit relieved at that. We don't need any attention right now especially if he thought that four new people moving in was big news then that means our activities aren't gonna be silent for long.
"Can you point us to where Mr. Varner class before you talk anymore?" I asked him as he did just that while Bri and Clinton noticed the stares we were receiving.
"Me and Bri better go. We'll see you two in gym later" Clint said to us before the two left to find their own classes as I groaned knowing this was gonna be the most boring few hours I'll experience.
(Later in Gym)
Finally, the one thing I could gladly do which is Gym. I saw Clint and Bri were waiting for me and Bella as we went over to them. I smirked seeing that Clint was lost in his music again as he tends to do that when he finds a good song as I looked at Bri as I was smirking which Bri realized what I was gonna do.
"Kelly no" Bri said at me while I just reached out to Clint headphones grinning more and more.
"Kelly. YES!" I shouted into Clint's ear after I pulled the Headphone away from his ear as he fell back against the wall scared before he glared at me.
"Damn it Kelly" He said to me before I just laughed heading into the gym as Clint looked at the gym clothes they gave us.
"Is it just me or..do they smell?" Bri asked us as I grimaced knowing they were probably old uniforms as we went to the Locker rooms and got changed as I saw the girls were gonna play Volleyball while Clint is gonna play Basketball as I scoffed knowing it was gonna be a piece of cake for us before we started playing.
I was right, it was too easy for us since we played it before as I looked at Clinton who was running around the other players easily. I guess monster hunting improved our awareness and strategy making as I saw the ball heading towards Bella as she smacks it away as it hit someone on Clint team who was snickering.
"Are you alright? I'm so sorry I got distracted" Bella said as I knew that was true since there were times when Bella's thoughts drifted.
"Don't worry. It's only a flesh wound" He said as I heard the bell ring as me and Bri went over to the two as I saw Clint also heading towards them.
"You're Isabella, right?" He said as I rolled my eyes knowing that he might be interested in her.
"Just Bella" Bella said
"I'm Mike Newton" Mike said smiling as I noticed he was staring a bit too long as I decided to do something about it.
"Since we're introducing ourselves. I'm Bri, this is Kelly and the guy behind you is Clint. We're friends of Bella" Bri said to him as I just nodded as I noticed a girl running towards us if I remember right, her name was Jessica.
"She's got a great spike, doesn't she? So, you four are from Arizona, right? Aren't people there supposed to be tan?" Jessica asked.
"Stereotype can't beat them but we decided we needed a change of scenery and Bella knows her dad was here. So we decided come here" Clint said as Jessica just accepted that answer as we start to head to the cafeteria. We sat down with Mike and Jessica as Eric squished into a seat next to Bella.
"Mike. I see you met my four new homies. Clint, Bella, Bri and Kelly" Eric said as Clint just raised an eyebrow at what he said while I blinked trying to understand that he just said that.
"Your homies?" Mike asked confused as Bri just sighed knowing where this was going.
"It's first grade all over again, and you four are the new shiny toys" Jessica said as I could see Clint just chuckle at that while I just groaned. All we wanted was not to be noticed but we're like a magnet for trouble.
"So...Clint. You do realize you're basically the new cute guy around here right?" She asked while I see Clint try to register what she said in his mind. I just shake my head at him. He was extremely dense but I saw some girls looking at him interested.
"I don't see why. I'm not that good looking besides I want to avoid breaking their hearts" He said while I groaned knowing that's just gonna get him more admirers. We were blinded by a bright flash as we saw someone taking a picture of us. I saw a girl taking the picture as I glared at her.
"Sorry, needed a candid for the feature" She said to us as we heard Eric sigh. Now I really need to know how much is going on in this town and how it will affect us.
"Feature's dead, Angela. Don't bring it up again. I got your back" Eric said to us which I appreciated at what he did.
"Guess we'll just run another editorial on teen drinking" Angela said as I could see Clint and Bella trade glances.
"Sorry. There's always eating disorders, or Speedo padding on the swim team" Bella said.
"Or you could also report on the local weather and how it'll affect the students and what safety measures we should have. If not that, then check in with the classes and see if something interesting is happening" Clint said as I rolled my eyes at them. I saw Clint looking at the window with wide eyes as I did the same when I saw why. They were the Vampires we encountered last night. They were here and I'm so gonna yell at Clint for jinxing us.
"Who are they?" Bella asked also staring while we traded knowing glances as we just knew shit hit the fan in the worst possible way.
"The Cullens" Angela answered as that helped us narrow down what we need to research later. Jessica leaned into us as I knew she knew something.
"Doctor and Mrs. Cullen's foster kids. They all moved down here from Alaska two years ago" She said to us as I saw Clint thinking deeply at that point.
"They kinda keep to themselves" Angela said as I had to bite back a sarcastic remark at that. It's no wonder since they're well.
"Because they're all together. Not like, together together. They're single. The blonde girl is Rosalie and the big dark-haired guy is Emmett" Jessica said as I looked at the two who I ran into last night. So her name is Rosalie huh. A perfect name for someone like her, I must admit.
"Jess, they're not actually related" Angela said to her as I thought how much of a coincidence was the fact that Dr. Cullen adopted them which just raised a lot of questions.
"But they live together. And the little dark-haired girl, Alice, she's really weird" She said as I saw Clint looking at Alice with recognition as I knew something more happened that night. Alice the pixie-like girl, I see why Clint is interested in her though.
"The one with her is Jasper, the blonde who looks like he's in pain. I mean, Dr. Cullen's like this foster dad" Jessica said as that narrowed down our leads a bit. I saw Bella looking distracted as I saw someone else enter. A guy with Bronze colored hair and the same eyes with the rest of the other Cullens as he sat down with them.
"Who's he?" Bella asked while I was hoping that she won't disregard the lessons we taught her or so help me
"That's Edward Cullen. He's totally gorgeous, obviously. But apparently, no one here is good enough for him. Like I care." Jessica said as I scoffed at that. Sure, he may look good but how can we be sure he's a good guy. I saw Bella looking at him as I looked towards where Edward was and saw him looking back as Bella look away.
"You aren't falling in love with him, are you?" I whispered to Bella as she looked at me surprised before she scoffed which I grinned at.
"What do you take me for? A girl who would fall in love with a gorgeous guy at first sight. No, I'm not that kind of girl" Bella said as I just grinned at that before I looked at Clinton who was staring at Alice as I smirked as I nudged both Bri and Bella who looked at me before I pointed to Clint who was still out of it as they smirked.
"So Clint...You looking at something?" I asked him as he snapped out of it as he looked at me confused.
"Huh?" He said as I just grinned at that point. Did our fearless, selfless and innocent leader have a crush on the pixie-like girl.
"You know a certain pixie girl?" Bri added on as he blushed as he looked down at his food at that point.
"I-I-I have no clue what you're talking about" Clint said as I see him blushing as I looked at the two girls as I winked to Jessica, Eric, Mike, and Angela as they caught on to what's happening.
"Yeah, I mean, you've been staring at her for quite a bit. Enjoyed what you see?" Eric asked him as I just tried not to laugh as Clint was gaping at this point.
"I mean. She is pretty cute don't you think" Mike added in as Clint was blushing heavily as I was shaking at this point as he was just stammering at this point.
"You two would look pretty good together" Jessica said to him grinning as I was close to laughing as Clint was looking at us realizing what was going on.
"Now what a minute" Clint tried to say before Angela cut him off holding her camera aiming it at him.
"How about we go over to them and take a picture of you two?" Angela offered him as he was doing an imitation of a tomato with how much he was blushing as that did it as I was laughing at this point as the others joined me as I looked over at the Cullen table and I saw Alice smiling as I knew this was gonna be fun teasing him with this.
"Um...Uh...I mean...Uh..." He said as I just laughed harder as he clearly was developing a crush on her but knowing him. He won't act on it because he barely knows her, that and the fact he didn't think he deserves love as I heard the bell ring as we got up as I headed to Spanish which I got lost before I found the room as I saw the teacher Mrs. Goff waiting for me outside.
"You must be the new student. I met your two friends already. Clinton Pamplona and Briana Skye. You must be Kelly Marie" Mrs. Goff said as I just shook her hand wondering how the hell news traveled so far. Is this really big news for this small town.
"Yeah that's me" I said to her as I followed her inside as I looked around and froze seeing that Rosalie was there.
"Everyone, this is Kelly Marie. The new transfer student from Arizona" Mrs. Goff said to us as I just waved at them.
"Hola a todos. Mi nombre es Kelly. Encantado de conocerte" I said to them as I was internally smirking since Spanish was my native language.
"You know some Spanish already. Can someone tell me what she said?" Mrs. Goff said looking at the class as Rosalie raised her hand.
"Yes Rose?" Mrs. Goff asked as I just looked at the vampire a bit surprised since she knew Spanish which was a big plus for me, but I can't be swayed easily.
"She said Hi everyone. My name is Kelly. It's nice to meet you" Rosalie said as I just smirked at that glad to see someone I can speak in Spanish as I heard Mrs. Goff tell me to take the empty seat next to Rosalie as I did just that as she looked at me curiously.
"You're one of the new kids right? Kelly? I'm Rosalie Hale but my family calls me Rose" She asked curiously while I just gave her a smirk at what she said.
"Why yes, I am. Kelly Marie. At your service" I said to her as I took her hand and gave it a small kiss as she just smirk.
"Flirty much?" Rose asked me while I just smirked. I knew I was gonna like her but she's gonna have to work hard for me to go on a date with her.
"No. Just a nice gesture to start a future friendship" I said to her as I see her eyes widen before it went back to normal as she smiled at me. She smelled something but what is it as I raised an eyebrow at her.
"You okay?" I asked her curiously as I could see her tense up a bit but relax. She was definitely hiding something.
"Yes. I'm alright" Rose said as I just shrugged as I was curious about something though.
"Do you know which class Alice has right now?" I asked Rose since if it's music. I wish I was there to record the quiet tension that a scissor can cut.
"She's in music right now" Rose said while I just grinned as I could just imagine the awkward situation in that room right now as I could see she was looking at me.
"You know something don't you?" She asked as I just nodded at that point wondering if I should tell her then I shrugged since she could tease little Alice with it.
"Let's just Clint. The only male transfer with us is sharing the class with her" I said to her since it might be good to have someone that knows Alice so I can tease Clint some more.
"I see. We did hear you teasing him in the cafeteria and let's just say Alice is a bit happy with it" Rose said as she noticed the charm before she focused on class as I did the same.
I did see her stealing glances at me which I tried to hide my smirk at before I frowned. It was hard hiding who I was from her for some reason. Some part of me was just yelling to tell her I'm Clockwork but I ignore that especially since I didn't want to make it too easy. Hopefully, she figures it out soon so I can get to know her better which surprised me since I don't know her too well. I wonder how Clint is doing.
(Rose POV)
I can't help but feel like I met her already and that charm on her bracelet. A clock which is a bit weird since it looked like the one on the girl mask but I just brushed it off as a coincidence. She also seems tense as if she was expecting something that isn't coming. It's her smell though that's drawing me in. It's intoxicating and just calling out to me. It's a bit hard fighting the urge to just go over to her and bite her neck. She smelled like fresh flowers and a deep, wild forest smell. Still, If she knows this Clinton guy. It might be good to be her friend and maybe get to know her better. I wonder how Alice is dealing in her class right now.
(Clinton POV)
I met up with the music teacher Ms. Melody as she led me into the classroom as I looked around it before my lands on a certain girl. Alice Cullen here in my class. I knew I shouldn't have tempted fate by thinking that we wouldn't run into them. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the teacher start to talk while I thought about buying a guitar at some point.
"Everyone, this is Clinton Pamplona. The new transfer student. Mr. Pamplona why don't you introduce yourself" She said as I just nodded.
"Hey everyone, I'm Clinton Pamplona. I moved down here from Arizona. It's nice to meet you all" I said to them giving a small smile. I could have sworn I heard some girls giggle but it's probably nothing.
"So Clinton. What instrument do you play?" Ms. Melody asked me which confused me. She was up to something but what is it.
"I play Guitar. Usually Acoustic with some singing" I told her as she handed me said Guitar before I knew what she was gonna have me do at that point as I was a bit nervous.
"Mind giving us a demonstration. Just the chorus if you will" Ms. Melody said as I looked around before I just placed my bag beside me as I started strumming the guitar trying to remember the chords to Gotta Find You.
"You're the voice I hear inside my head. The reason that I'm singing. I need to find you. I gotta find you. You're the missing piece I need. The song inside of me. I need to find you. I gotta find you. Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah" I sang while my eyes were drawn to Alice as I stared at her as she just smiled at me as I couldn't explain why I was drawn to her. I told myself it wasn't because I liked her already since I wanted to get to know her better first. I stopped myself at that point since I only met her once and that was only as Ticci Toby not as Clinton Pamplona. It was just confusing since why was I drawn to her in the first place when I barely know her.
"That was amazing Clinton. Why don't you take the empty seat beside Alice over there" Ms. Melody said as I gave her the guitar back as I grabbed my bag back as I saw some girls looking at me weirdly before I sat beside Alice who looked at me with a smile.
"Hi. I'm Alice" Alice said introducing herself as I looked at her. She really was breathtaking, but I had to stop that train of thought immediately.
"Clinton. Nice to meet you Alice" I said to her smiling back as our hands brushed as I felt a small static flow into my hand as I pull back surprised while I just smiled nervously.
"So Arizona? What made you move here to Folks?" Alice asked me curiously while she was looking at me up and down as if trying to figure out something as I could feel her stare at my Ticci Toby shirt.
"Figured it might be a nice change of scenery. I like the cold better anyway" I told her since I never liked sunny weather that much in the past and that never changed.
"You'll love it here then. Where did you get that shirt though?" Alice asked me as I looked down at my shirt and just grinned.
"Someone gave it to me. Why?" I told her which was true since Kelly and Bri did give it to me as a gift. It was a sweet thing to give me since I was a bit of the fan of Ticci Toby myth.
"No reason. The person on it just reminds me of someone I met" Alice said smiling as I tried to fight back a blush at the cute smile of hers as I could see her smell something and her eyes widen as I decided to focus on class at that point.
(Alice POV)
That shirt he is wearing. He knows something about my mate but what and that smell he has. It's like the sea breeze in the morning and the fresh air of a forest night. It was really intoxicating, and I knew what it meant. He was my singer. The person made for me which means that he clearly has a connection to the person I met in the forest but what. If I knew right, Rose met the girl Kelly in her Spanish class. She might know something. Still, it's really suspicious how the same day my mate appeared is the same day the four moved here. Just who is he and are they connected.
