Hello to all my fellow dragons, mythologies, other creatures or people and in this chapter...will be actually my first "Erza" based chapter I've ever done. Crazy right!...Wait no...this isn't surprising...oh...
Well anyways I hope you all enjoy this chapter cause this is actually one of the ideas I've been really excited to write about for some time. So with those short things said...have fun reading!
Warriors of Desrossa
Earthland 144-D:
It was carnage. That would be the most accurate word to describe what was occurring at the given moment as people in every direction was attacking each other. Blood, flesh, weapons and more were all splattered against something in this specific area as loud noises that were the culmination of screams and weapons clashing was heard throughout. What was happening you may ask? Well we are watching a battle between two armies on an island that harbors a powerful weapon of mass destruction.
"AAHHH!"
"KEEP IT COMING MEN! DON'T LET THEM THROUGH!"
"CHARGE!"
These are some of the many words said between the people as the armies advance even closer to each other as the battle rages across the island. One consisted of all women in a silver armor and a red marking on their right breast-plate with swords and shields in their hands as the other army consisted of mostly men with some women as they were donned in black cloaks with blue markings as they held varying rifles and guns in their hands as they gun down their opponents. Neither side looked to be winning the battle they were locked into, as for every person on one sides death an extra five would be placed on the opposing side.
These two groups of people are sworn enemies, people who have battled for an over century long war ranging across a simple island and a huge empire in a particular country. For the people marked with red, they are known as the Warriors of Desrossa and as for the people marked with blue, they are the Combatants of the Devil as they are called.
"Ah!" One of the older warrior females spits out as she falls to the floor after an energy grenade explodes right in front of her. Luckily for her, she was out of the initial explosion impact but due to being around the shockwaves still knocked her back along with a couple of soldiers from both sides. Grunting, she attempts to get up but suddenly had a foot push her neck onto the ground and stab her with her own sword right in her stomach as she shouts in pain.
"Sister!" A younger voice cries out as she attempts to run over to her older sister of seven years but she was punched across the face and onto the ground below as three guys surround her in order to block her off from the woman
"Don't worry, you'll join her in a moment." One of the cloaked men tells her as the young girl reaches for her sword; seeing this, one of the other two men pulls out a blade and swipes horizontally at the girl's arm, creating a pretty deep gash to appear on said arm. This looks to have prevented the girl from grabbing her weapon as she had instantly grabbed her wound in order to stop the blood coming out as she hisses out in pain.
With her sister however, she was still getting pinned down by the sword implanted in her stomach. That didn't stop her from trying to rush over to her sister though, as she was squirming and attempting to pull the sword out from her torso; though it was for nothing when the same attacker who placed the sword in her to begin with pushed it deeper into her, making her cough out blood.
"This'll be much easier if you just died." he comments before taking his gun out and aiming it at her head, ready to end it once and for all
"SISTER!" The younger girl yells out through the men who had decided to take a whole of her. The man aiming the gun merely scowled and was about to take his shot...
*SLASH!*
...Before he screams out in pain when blood suddenly gushes from his newly sliced off hand's wound. Gripping his wrist and dropping to his knees, he looks up only to get a sword speared through his head. His teammates couldn't believe what had just happened but before they could utter a word their upper bodies sprayed out blood as they're bodies were sliced into halves. Both girls could only stare in shock as they finally see the figure that had saved them sheathing her sword.
She was a pretty tall and beautiful woman with long, dark purple hair that reached down to her lower back as two strand reaches over her shoulders along with brown eyes. She was wearing a white headband with a ribbon tied on the top as her swords sheath rested on her side. As for clothing, she wore a white blazer with two red lines reaching from her collar down to her waist area as one red line stretched from her shoulder towards her wrist as a red marking was seen a little over her right breast; she also had a red tie and white cloves that nearly reached her elbow as she had also wore white pants and shoes, though her left arm looked to be nothing but an empty sleeve as it fell limp to the side. This was Kagura Mikazuchi, the fourth strongest member of the Warriors side and their second ranking lieutenant.
"L-Lieutenant!" The sisters exclaim in shock as she glances at the both of them. However, she ignores their surprised stares and moves towards the older sister and takes the sword from the older sisters stomach and throws it onto the ground.
"You two; get to the boat and get patched up. The rest of the army will take over from here." Kagura orders the two, who manages to salute and use their magic to teleport onto an escape boat. With the swordswoman's though, she suddenly felt herself get surrounded by a group of over a dozen people as they all aimed their weapons at her.
"Yohoho! What do we got here?! Lieutenant Mikazuchi here in the flesh! I would've thought you'd stay back on your little island." One of cloaked men remarks as she glares at them
"You think that one injury is gonna make me quit this war?" She asks them
"Whatever, we already can counter your gravity magic! There's no way you can take us out now!" One of the men declares as the others cheer. To their surprise, Kagura smirks a little at them as she takes out her sword with her good hand and holds it out.
"Are you challenging us? No matter how strong you are you won't be able to take us all on!" Another exclaims before...
"WHOA!"
"WHAT THE HELL?!"
These were said by said people once they all were being pulled towards Kagura as if some invisible force was forcefully pushing hem. Once they all got close enough, the lieutenant immediately slashed her sword in a spinning formation, which slices the heads of each and every person around her clean off in the matter of a second. Seeing the bodies drop to the ground, the woman swipes the blood of her sword and sheathes it back in it's holder and sighs.
"Aww, look at Kagura using her new technique." A fellow warrior comments, making said person look towards the direction of the voice
The woman had long white hair that went down to her legs that was tied up in a ponytail tied in a black ribbon, she also had blue eyes and was also pretty tall. She was currently wearing a long black and red dress with a red marking on the black part of said dress; there were also red straps draped around her arms that looked to be covering small scars. This was Mirajane Strauss, the third ranking lieutenant for the Warriors and the third strongest of her respected army.
"Mirajane. Don't you have your squad to fight with?" The swordsman asks her fellow lieutenant who places a hand to her mouth and giggles
"Not at all; they're actually back at the ship defending it from any enemy threats so I decided to swing around the island to help anyone I can. However, it looks as if you don't need it." Mira remarks with a shrug
"Your right, though you should be worried for yourself." Kagura points out whilst pointing behind the snow haired woman, who glances back with not much worry
What do they see? Well it's a small group of about 10-20 people rushing towards the two with their weapons aimed and ready to fire and attack at a moment's notice. Chuckling to herself, Mira turns towards the group and holds her hand out and points a finger at them which causes a purple and black colored ball of energy to form around said finger. Smirking, she fires he attack as the now beam strikes one male in the chest before exploding, effectively killing the entire group and then some as the lieutenant looks back at the purple haired swordsman.
"What was that?" Mira asks while blowing the smoke off of her finger, making Kagura glare at her a little. A second later though, she looks over towards a large tower with the same glare as she reaches for the hilt of her sword.
"So Erza's over there?" She asks the white haired beauty
"Yep! Said she was gonna get that bomb and we'll be able to devise a plan to end this war once and for all!" She answers with a smile, making Kagura nod and walk off. "Where are you going?"
"Well the islands still undergoing a battle isn't it? We should around and fight off the people here and protect whoever we can." Answers the woman as she wanders off into a random direction to help her fellow warriors
"Sure, sure. I hope Erza gets here soon so we can get out of here; too many people are dying from this little scuffle." Mira comments as Kagura sighs from said comment
"We're fighting a war with highly advanced people with numbers and dozens of posts on their side. Any fight we have no matter how small is going to result in deaths; it doesn't help our leaders ordered a kill on site for the enemies." She tells her as the warrior sighs
"Yeah but...it's still not great to think about." Mira says as she follows Kagura over towards wherever they were heading
In the Tower:
Inisde of the tower in the middle of this island wasn't looking any better than the outside on the island. However, the most notable thing was the fact that there wasn't as many corpses laying around due to not many people entering said tower besides for the couple dozen Warriors and Combatants fighting throughout the multitude of floors. For example, the current fight between two Combatants and an army of Warriors...and how they were winning.
"Tsk! Don't these bitches ever let up?!" One of them asks as he unloads a round of energy bullets from his gun as he nails a couple women in front of him; turning back, he see's his fellow soldier holding his now bleeding stump of an arm as he kicks away a Warrior and shooting a energy bullet into her head.
"You should've expected this; We're in a battle with hundreds of people fighting all over the place on this small island so there is bound to be people around every corner!" The soldiers tells him as the other scowls
"Yeah, guess your right..." He remarks before...
*CRACK!* *SMASH!*
All of a sudden there was an intense pressure change within the air as both soldiers to stop what their doing as both their eyes widen in both shock and fear. Barely managing to turn behind them to find out what caused the sudden noise, they see a Warrior standing in front of a broken down wall as if she just kicked it down as a pile of dead bodies of their fellow Combatants stood around her feet as three were held up on her shoulders.
This woman looked to be in an outfit similar to her fellow Warriors though slightly different as she had the same chest-plate, though she had on light metallic armor down to her legs and long sliver and red boots; her top armor didn't cover her arms, stopping at the elbow as the skin from there to her wrist was exposed, though she did wear metallic yet light looking gloves. However, the most noticeable traits of her armor consisted of a long red cloak with a hood resting on her head as well as having a multitude of red markings surrounding the armor and a sword attached onto her waist. As for her physical features, she had long scarlet hair that reached down to her waist along with having brown eyes and small scar under her right eye though that and her eye was covered by some bangs. This warrior's name was Erza Scarlet, the highest ranking soldier the Warriors have and she was bloody and looking for more victims.
"Shit! Just our luck!" The two armed soldier exclaimed in surprise as he points his weapon at Erza, who merely drops the bodies onto the ground and walks over towards them calmly as she raises her hand and holds up a finger, confusing both soldiers
"Wh-"
The soldier with only one arm couldn't finish his sentence as a sword impales him through the chest and launches him into a nearby wall, pinning him there as Erza somehow appears in front of him while her right hand glows. What happens is that a small yet sharp blade is summoned into her hand as she slices the man's throat, causing his blood to spray around as her face is covered a little by it, though she wipes it off with her glove as the other soldier finally turns around in shock.
"I...I didn't even see her move! Is this the speed of someone even the king truly admire?!" He thinks to himself as she turns over at him
"For all the crimes you and your army have committed on our soldiers over the years...you shall die by my hands!" Erza exclaims before unsheathing her sword and points it at him
"Fuck, guess I'll have to fight huh!" He comments before aiming his weapon...
...Only to have his hands sliced off by the scarlet warrior, who was eyeing his scarily cold eyes before she spins a little and slashes him down his torso. He didn't even process what had happened as he was snapped out of his daze by the stinging and excruciating pain of both having his hands cut off and the slowly opening wound in his torso. He couldn't even scream in pain as the warrior in front of him slices his head clean off his body as blood from all the wounds she inflicted upon him now begin to spray out blood. Sighing to herself, she swipes the blood off her sword and sheathes her sword back in his holder before walking off and down a rather long hallway as a door gets closer and closer with each and every step she took.
"I guess those two were the last two that had to protect the weapon they made. With this in our hands, we'll be sure to put an end to this war once and for all and...I can finally see your end for everything you did..." The sword wielder thinks to herself as a scowl presents itself onto her fac. Finally reaching the door she exhales, ready for any sort of trap presented as she unsheathes her sword and kicks open the door and gets into a fighting stance and looks around and once she finds nothing harmful at the moment, walks over towards a nearby window in the tower and looks down to see the Warriors managing to begin to over the Combatants on the island.
"Well it looks like they're getting along well, that's good; hopefully there wasn't that many causalities this time." Erza remarks with a small smile before looking over at a control mechanism with a multitude of buttons on the top
"I hope what mother said was correct, or else we'll have to continue this search for something that should have not been made in the first place." She comments as she pulls out a piece of paper with a bunch of different numbers and letters on it; once done, she goes over towards the machine and types something in as a hole opens in the middle of the room and out comes a large holding device that looks to have been holding some type of weapon...and it was empty.
"God dammit, again! What kind of game are you playing?!" She exclaims whilst smashing the machine, effectively breaking it as she glares at the ground in complete hate
"I'm going to find this thing...even if it costs me my life it'll be wiped off the face of this planet and out of enemy reach and that's a promise!" She says to no one in particular. After several minutes she manages to calm down and, after looking towards the battlefield once more, smashes the window of the tower and jumps out, ready to help her fellow warriors in this battle.
Timeskip One Week on Desrossa:
Ever since the failure of securing the weapon on the island everything was...surprisingly peaceful. Sure, there was a lot of planning and training from the Warriors but otherwise there was no attacks from the Combatants side of things as they had been relatively silent about everything and anything as if they're planning soemthing...but at the moment most of the people on both sides were just happen to get some small break from the fighting.
At the current moment we are visiting a rather large island that looks to be surrounded by many small islands and rocks. It didn't look to be very advanced, though there were large buildings, skyscrapers, factories, training halls, etc. Also, there were a lot of boats surrounding the island on and off of the water as some of said boats were moving in and out of the island, presumably for transportation of people and or items though that didn't matter at the moment. On the island, we are now inside of a private training hall near the edge of an island as three certain people were fighting inside.
"Tch, you've improved Kagura!" Erza compliments as her and her friend's swords clashes with each other. Quickly summoning another sword in her hand, the red haired woman brings down said blade though Kagura angles her sword to block the strike along with blocking the current clash with Erza's other sword.
"Thanks, could say the same about you." The purple haired woman responds before backstepping
Bringing her sword back, she dashes towards her friend at blinding speeds and goes in for a stab towards Erza's torso, but was blocks by said person as she widens her eyes a little. When this happens, the gravity in the room increases which happens to throw the red head off balace a little; seeing an opening, Kagura was about to deliver a slash towards Erza when...
"DEMONIC HEAVEN PIERCE!"
Both swordsman, hearing the shout, widens their eyes and feels the heat of a beam of energy centimeters from their faces; luckily, they manage to dodge last second without any real injury by jumping back and glare at the direction the beams came from...only to reveal a certain smiling snowflake haired woman standing there with two fingers held out at them.
"Oops, I think my fingers slipped." Mira comments as she puts her hands down
"Maybe next time warn us before you fire an attack like that so close to us next time; I thought you said that you were gonna sit this one out?" Kagura points out to which Mira shrugs
"Yes...but it got a bit boring. Besides, you two aren't the only ones who need to improve your skills." The dress wearing woman tells them before aiming her fingers at the two, who ready their swords. "Demonic Heaven Beams!"
With that exclaimation, ten black and purple beams of demonic energy shoots right at the two swordswoman, to which Erza dodges the blasts whilst Kagura deflects the ones aimed at her. Gripping her swords handle, Erza dashes in front of Mira and takes a swipe at her to which the white haired female leans back and dodges and points out a finger towards Erza; gathering energy in said finger, she fires a beam to which her friend dodges and counters with a stab. Dodging the stab, Mira still continues dodging as a couple more strikes from Erza.
Erza, seeing how none of her attacks are hitting, she summons a dozen swords behind Mira and clenches her hand as each and every one launches themselves towards the back of the woman. Narrowing her eyes a little, Mira snaps her fingers and disintegrates the swords before forming a sword made of dark purple energy and dashing at Erza and colliding in a slash against her sword. However, the first lieutenant spins a little to move to the side and slashes upwards which manages to create a scrap in the dress in Mira's dress as said girl backs up a bit and inspects her new marking.
"Aww, I really liked this dress too..." Mira says with a small pout as Erza readies her blade once again
"Your seriously going to worry about your dress?" She asks her friend who gives her a smile though she was also giving her a small glare as well
"Of course, I just bought this one." She answers as both girls feel an increase in the pressure around them and turn towards Kagura, who had her sword pointed at them
"Rule number one, when there's more than one enemy on the field you pay attention to all of them simultaneously." She tells the two, though a certain someone keeps her smile
"Really, this is all Kagura? I've been with you long enough to say this isn't your best so I would say...maybe only a 25x increase in gravity; us two wouldn't have much trouble moving around you know." Mira remarks as Erza just remains there silent
"Really, then how about 50x?" Kagura responds as the gravity increases even more as Erza and Mira are nearly forced onto their feet as she just stands there perfectly fine
"...That'll do." The energy user replies as she regains her balance while Erza glares at her
"You just had to say something..." She says trying to regain her balance as well
Kagura doesn't give them much time to adjust to the new change in gravity as she dashes towards the two and brings her sword back before taking a swipe at Erza, who manages to put up her sword and block her attack albeit with a small shake. From behind the purple swordsman, Mira swings her arm down as a purple slash of energy is thrown at the two, who manages to dodge but Erza requips a couple of swords under the demon who jumps above them and shoots another beam from her finger. Seeing this coming, Kagura reflects the beam off her sword and onto Erza who relfects it back to Mira, who just smacks it away. With all of them narrowing their eyes, they are about to unleash another attack before...
"U-U-Uh..."
Stopping what they were doing, the group of three looks over towards the side where the door is and sees a woman of fairy average height with black hair and blue eyes shaking by the door as she leans her kneeling body against it for support. Kagura immediately changes the gravity in the room back to normal as the three, mostly kagura, rushes over towards the girl.
"Are you okay?" The gravity user questions, and sighs in relief once the girl nods
"So what are you doing here? You want to use the training room?" Mira asks
"N-No, Lady Irene wanted to speak to you three and sent me to come and get you." The black haired woman answers to the surprise of Erza
"What does mother want?" The red head questions with a steady gaze; Irene doesn't usually calls all three of her most prized lieutenants together unless it was something incredibly urgent.
"I don't know, she just wanted you three." Was the answer they got. After a look at each other, they nod and thank the girl before heading off towards where Irene should be.
Timeskip:
The trio were now in a rather large building towards the edge of the island-that luckily wasn't that far from the training base-and was walking through various hallways to get to Irene's location. It wasn't particularly busy or crowed like most other days, so it was pretty simple to walk through and get to wherever she was.
"So..." Mira starts before looking up in a thinking position. "What do you think we're being called for?"
"I don't know; but it has to be important that she needs to summon all three of us." Answers Kagura before she looks towards Erza for some answer, who only crosses her arms
"I have no idea either. Who knows what she could want..." She answers, making her two friends nod
After a couple of more minutes, the group of three manages to get to the room they were told Irene was inside and walks inside and looks around. It was pretty big; there were screens covering the right and left sides of the room as the wall with the door had various weapons attached to it as for the wall directly across from it had a large mag with many different locations and angles plastered onto it. In the middle of the room there was a large table that had holographic images of Desrossa on it as another island occupied the opposite side.
As for the people in the room, asides from the trio that had just entered we had two others in the room; one sitting on a chair by the table playing with some type of toy as the other was sitting in a chair in front of the screens on the right side of the room, as looking at what looked to be battle plans whilst occasionally glancing at another screen that looked to be playing something. After a couple of seconds of silence, the girl with the chair looks to have noticed the three and looks at them with a wide smile on her face.
"Erza, Kagura, Mira! Hi!" The girl greets, confusing the three
This girl looked to be around the same age as the three mentioned and was pretty cute as well due to certain...features of her body; namely her cat like appearance from her styled messy brown hair to mimic cat ears and red whiskers across her cheeks. She was currently wearing a black cloak with golden line around it which made it hard to see her torso but you could make out a black and purple bikini and black gloves and boots. This girl was Millianna, a close friend of the three and a fellow captain.
"Millianna?" Kagura starts, clearly confused. "Why are you here?"
"Aww, your not excited to see me after all this time? So mean." She comments with a playful pout with giving them a small grin. "I had just came here to give Ms. Irene my report and when I heard you guys were coming here I decided to stay."
This gets the three to nod in understanding at the answer before looking towards the other woman in the room. With a small cough, Erza signals to her that they were now present.
"You called mother?" The red head asks, making the woman pause the screen and stand up before turning around towards the four with a small smile on her face
"Well yes I did, Erza." Irene says
Irene here did look like Erza a lot, from the hair color to even similarities in appearance; however, Irene was wearing something more showing of her...figure as she had on was something akin to a witch, with the color being being black and silver as well. Her top was covering most of her torso, only showing off some underboob and her midriff as a long cloth draped from her waist and down her legs to her knees, having a symbol of Desrossaon in the center; she was also wearing black thigh high boots, black gloves, and a black cape. Finally, her red hair was long and as while some wave freely along her back, large strands were braided and placed over her shoulders. This woman was Irene Belserion, Erza's mother and the queen of Desrossa.
"It's about the weapon." She tells her as she walk over towards the table the four were around and presses a button on the ledge, moving the map of the island to another one showing various other destroyed islands as a larger one occupied the middle
"They've been releasing small doses around the area and have been causing damage over the course of many islands, sinking them into the ground and causing earthquakes powerful enough to break the ground apart." She says as she presses a button, changing the screen she was just looking at to another
On this screen was a little mechanical lizard as it showcased the area around it sinking in on itself at a scarily fast rate as people and animals were ripped apart and fallen into the ground as large tsunami's engulfed the island not soon after, completely drowning it before the connection is finally lost. Once done, everyone minus Irene has shocked looks as she just sighs.
"That was months ago, back when we were first learning about it and now...we don't know anything about where it could be or who could have it. For all we know, the Combatants are about to attack us and once they do I fear only me using almost most of my power can save this place." Irene states solemnly
"But if this is such a problem why don't we just deal with it now? If we attack and demolish the surrounding islands then they won't have anything to test their weapons and magic on and as they are figuring it out we can attack, grab a hostage, and demand to know where the weapon is." Erza suggests, though Irene nods her head
"That isn't that smart Erza, no offense. Even if we did you know they would attack us right back and because of their ruler they wouldn't have any idea on where the weapon is." Her mother tells her, making the younger redheads eyes narrow
"But still, we should take any option we can get! Just waiting for a lead and coming up with nothing even after examination will end up in failure like all the other times!" Erza exclaims
"I understand but we can't, we'd be risking many people's lives just for a hope of getting it. You know as well as I do about that." She tells the girl who clenches her teeth
"Still, we can't just sit around and do no-"
"Erza!"
This gets everyone quiet as Irene stares at Erza with a stern gaze, to which the younger woman gives right back.
"As much as I hate to admit it we can't; having us go to every place where we think has that weapon would waste us people and resources and we can't afford that! I know you want to bring him and anything he has down but you need to wait!"
Silence loomed over the room for a couple seconds, looking at both relatives with looks of unease on their faces. With Erza, she keeps her stern look on her face but nods and leaves as the slams the door behind her. Silence still follows before Irene crouches and puts her hands in her face.
"Damn, that could've went better." She mutters to herself as her eyes. "I just wish, we could end this for once..."
For a quick history lesson for Desrossa, back hundred of years ago multiple countries were at war with each other for the control of the continent; the reasons why are unknown, but one major theory was that the creator of magic had passed down his abilities from magical beasts down to his children, who would eventually come to rule said continent harshly so a revolution started while another was the fact that a singular person wanted complete control. But whatever the reason was, many countries were involved in the conflict and what was known as "The Mythical War" occurred.
this war was not kind to anybody involved, million's died and hundreds of countries and island's across the continent were wiped out during the decades of battling as no country could gain the edge over the other. However one day, a girl named Irene Belserion had learnt ancient magic and taught her country the same magic capable of destroyed large beasts, which would later be known as "Dragon Slayer Magic", which she also used to gain allies in different countries as well. Now with this new magic, Irene's country managed to prevail and she was deemed the queen for her efforts of the war as any and all countries that had chose to aligned themselves with her were welcomed to join, in which most did while the others and the ones who had lost against her side stayed independent.
Some time later Irene would get married to a war general named Rung and had a rather healthy relationship for a couple of years...until he decided she was too dangerous to have around and with the help of an army drove Irene off of her country and onto a nearby unnamed island. Irene didn't stand for this, so she was able to gain some allies from both this island, the islands surrounding, and past allies and fought against her ex-lover. However, the previous queen had gotten pregnant with Erza as the new war was starting and was forced to sit out of most of the battles and opted to once again teaching and strategizing. Though, due to what she could only assume as learning her Dragon Slayer magic directly from it's source is the cause, she was pregnant with Erza for years until she finally gave birth to her and once she did she was able to defeat her ex due to a lot of planning and a secret rebellion and lived peacefully as leader once more on what she now deemed Desrossa.
Sadly, they were thrown into another war 11 years later because of a new ruler taking over somehow as he now attacks Desrossa and he is someone her daughter is very...familiar with.
"Tch, why? Why can't we just end this already...?" Irene asks herself quietly so no one could hear her...
...However Kagura did, and looks down at her one arm with a solemn expression on her face.
One Year Ago:
There is fighting everywhere, and no one is spared. Man, women, child it didn't matter as soldiers slaughtered or...did other things to the people as the defenders of the area were trying their hardest to fend off their intruders. What was happening? An ally of Desrossa was currently being attacked by the Combatants without mercy as the country went up in flames as blood and death filled the air.
On the ground in a crater of a once previous throne room kneeled Erza, though she looked way worse for wear. Her once beautiful skin is dripping with blood from various places as her now broken left arm hung to her side as a blade sat in her mouth. However, her armor was in tatters with various holes and cracks while a blade found itself in her kidney as a stick impaled her through her leg. That didn't even look to be the worse injury she had, as her right eye looked to have been covered in blood from a gash in her forehead as a mark was under said eye, which was also bleeding.
Gritting her teeth in anger, she was about to get up but an explosion cut her off as a punch to her face sent her into a nearby wall. Spitting out blood, she tried moving before a body was flung into her as she widened her eyes at it.
Right there laid Kagrua, left arm seemingly ripped from it's socket as her clothes were completely battle damaged as she was leaking blood from various places of her body. She didn't even look alive, as her eyes were dull and lifeless and no movement came from her. Erza tried to shake her awake, but pulls back once she feels the blood coming from her veins spurting out everywhere when she tried moving.
"Oh~ What's wrong Scarlet? Still unable to use your arms?" Someone ask a few yards away from them, earning a death glare from Erza as she attempting to stand up
"Uh-Uh." He says waving his finger tauntingly. "You seem to forget unlike you I still have magic to spare and you...well look at yourself."
"I'm...going to kill you..." She declares, gripping her blade so hard in her teeth her jaw begins becoming unbearably sore
"Oh? Well then your gonna need to be stronger than that Scarlet, cause let me tell you your not that strong right now. When we were kids you used to beat me up all the time and now look at how the tables have turned." He points out with a grin
"You bastard..."
"Really what's that? Sword got your tongue?"
With a roar and sudden burst of energy, she is clouded in red and black aura as she launches herself at him and swipes her sword but it was easily deflected as he knees her in the stomach; now with her ribs broken, she gets onto her knees in pain before she is kicked in the jaw and onto her back a few feet away from Kagura.
"You know, one day we're gonna have to fight ya know; like we planned when we were kids. But at the moment your just too weak." He remarks before crouching down to her level
He was a rather handsome looking man, with blue hair and dark green eyes. He looked extremely well built, toned and everything as multiple bandage wrappings were around his arms and torso while his baggy pants were ripped a bit. However, the most notable thing about him was the red tattoo across his right eye. This was Jellal Fernandez, the current ruler of the Combatants and Erza's previous best friend.
"I'll see you one day, and when I do you better be ready; cause I'll use more than 40% this time." He tells her, walking away and opening a portal and walking through it, leaving a bleeding Erza and Kagura on the ground as the red head finally loses consciousness
With Erza:
With a gasp Erza wakes up from her bed, cold sweat dripping off her forehead as her eyes widen in complete fear as she pants harshly, trying to regain some sort of breath as she places a hand on her heart. This seems to work a little as her breathing calms down before she pulls her blankets up to her face.
"Why do I keep thinking about that?" She questions to herself
That day was meant to be a simple delivery mission to the island for supplies and everything was going great...until Jellal came. He ordered his soldiers to attack relentlessly and once they did they did not stop as everyone was either murdered or taken captive. During the commotion, he had gotten into the kings palace and just blew it up before engaging Erza and Kagura in a fight, in which they lost badly. When Desrossa's warriors got there dozens of their own dies while everyone habiting that planet was dead...thousands gone in less than an hour. Heck, Erza and Kagura barely lived and it took them little over three months to heal but...Kagura lost her arm and Erza became obsessed with finding and murdering Jellal at any cost. It was unhealthy, and while everyone tried to make sure she took a break she was having none of it, going on every mission and fought in every battle just to stop him.
Once they heard of a super weapon, Erza immediately was going to storm into enemy territory but was stopped by Mira quickly. Seeing the weapon, knowing such a powerful thing existed and in his hands made the redhead stop at nothing for him gone but at the moment...could do only nothing but wait.
"Tch, how much longer until we get this...every day we wait more people die; I wish we could just get this weapon and get this war over with." Erza mutters to herself
"Yeah, so would most people."
Eyes widening in shock, she immediately grabs a sword from under her pillow and mattress and dashes towards her window and takes whoever's there and pins them up against the wall with one blade at their neck and the other at their heart. Now who was this mysterious person? Well it was none other than Jellal of course, and he had a shit eating grin on his face at the sight of Erza.
"Well Erza, quite the nice nightgown you got on there." He remarks and he wasn't wrong; it was a pretty red one that also happened to be see through, and it didn't look like the redhead was wearing anything under it. However, this did not deter Erza at all as she merely glares at him.
"How did you get here?" She asks in a dark tone, pushing her blades closer to him though he only continues his grin
"Aww, not going to ask how your friend-
"Old friend..." She corrects through grit teeth
"Yeah, yeah whatever." He waves off. "Anyways I just heard about your desire for our weapon, so I came to make a deal with you; I'll tell you where the weapon if...you give me a fight." He tells her, though she doesn't seem convinced in the slightest
"Why should I believe you and take the deal. I can just take you in right now and get the information through any means." She threatens, pushing the blades deeper into him to where they actually made him bleed a little
"Well then I'll just wipe me and my followers memories clean before you can even blink; that way no one knows where any weapon is and you'll have to start worse than when you had started previously." He tells her, making her freeze up at the information
"So what will it be Erza? A fight for information or rejection and no information, the choice is yours." He says and after a couple of seconds, Erza looks at him with a serious gaze
"Alright, I'll do it." She agrees, making his grin widen more as he opens up a blue magic portal behind him
"Great, I'll see ya soon then." He tells her, but before he is fully gone he tosses her a piece of paper. Now alone, she sighs to herself and picks up the paper as she looks at where the blue head just left.
"Guess that's how he got in, I felt nothing when he opened that." She mutters before looking at what the map says
On the abandoned island 100 miles from Desrossa

Narrowing her eyes, the woman looks out of the window and at the stars and moon of the night sky, hoping that this would work.
Three Hours Later:
Jellal was currently sitting on a boulder in the middle of the island he told Erza to meet him on, doing nothing but looking at the sky around him. It was a pretty simple place, lots of trees, plants, grass, mountains etc. Sighing to himself, he looked down at his watch and noticed how his "friend" was running late to their scheduled fight before a small frown appears on his face.
"Well, guess I'm leaving." He thinks to himself as he jumps off the boulder and was about to make a portal before...
*SMASH!* *CRASH!* *BOOM!*
All for a sudden, he was thrown off of the island and through the sea as half of his body was submerged in water as he finally crashes into another island ground. Before he could even respond, his attacker delivers a kick to his jaw and knocks him through the ground and indents and breaks are caused in the ground before he comes crashes to a halt. Blinking, he stands up and dusts himself off and looks around to find he is now in a rocky plains as Erza, now in her armor, landing down a couple feet away from him.
"Huh, didn't expect that." He remarks as he crosses his arms. "So it looks like you came though I must ask...why aren't we on the island I presented?" He asks, earning him a scoff
"Do you really think I'm going on an island of your choice? I may have agreed to do this but I'm not dumb enough to go onto a place prepared by my enemy where he could have people waiting. I may want you dead but I can still think." She says, drawing her sword from it's sheath and pointing it at him
"Enough talking, lets get this over with." She says, making Jellal grin
"Well aren't you a smart and eager one? Well I did want this..." Jellal says as a blue portal forms in front of him before he reaches inside and takes out a sword of his own. With both into a battle stance, one with a scowl on her face with a glare and the other with a grin and a glare, they both measure each other up for a second as the wind blows around them.
"May the best warrior win."
"I plan to."
At what one could describe as a pin of a needle dropping, the two dash towards each other at blidning speeds as their swords clash with the others as a small shockwave is emitted from the attack. Each narrowing their eyes, Erza attempts a swipe from Jellal's side though he blocks and goes in for a stab towards the redhead's stomach in which she jumps back as he dashes towards her once again. Once near each other the two engage in a series of slashes and swipes as the sound of wind blowing and metal clashing fills the air; this lasts for a minute before Erza summons a sword into her other hand and takes a swipe at Jellal's cheek, cutting it though he blocks a swing from her other sword with his arm and elbows the woman across the face as she flies back a little.
Wiping the blood from his cheek, the blue haired warrior speeds behind the redhead and swings his sword on her back to which she hits him in the stomach with her blades handle before backhanding him across the face and bringing her own sword down; though, he blocks the swipe and begins another clash with the warrior before he kicks her back as he dashes at her and punches her in the stomach and back a few meters. Spitting out some saliva, Erza snaps her fingers as dozens of swords erupts from the ground and would've pierced Jellal if he didn't jump into the sky. Narrowing her eyes, the warrior claps her hands together of hundred of swords of various sizes shoot from the ground and directly at the mage.
Unfortunately, he just jumps from each of the larger swords and uses them to swing around and evade before he jumps towards Erza and takes a swipe at her head, to which she barely dodges though the ends of her hair is clipped a little. Clenching her hand, another sword erupts from the ground which has Jellal jump back, to where she speeds behind him and swings both her swords onto the mage though he kicks them out of her hand uppercuts her as she spits out blood.
He wasn't done there, as he grabs her head with her hands and brings her head onto his rising knee before delivering a punch to her stomach and unleashing a barrage of punches to that area before punching her away and into a nearby boulder. Erza, wincing from the sudden attacks, summons a katana and dashes right in front of the blue haired male and takes a swipe in which he quickly resummons his sword and blocks. Smirking a little, Erza jumps up and delivers two kicks at his face, that also happened to be blocked, before elbowing him in his side. Jumping up, she brings another kick upon him before wrapping her legs around his neck and spinning around and body-slamming him into the ground. Not wasting any time, she jumps back and summons a large sword as it impales the laying male through his chest and and hanging him in the air.
"Come on, I know you should be okay from that wound Jellal." She announces, making him touch the sword as it shatters and lets him down
"How'd you figure that out?" He asks, standing up as the large stab wound in his torso begins to heal itself
"Simple, none inquires I had been giving you would disappear quickly after I would give them; one thing led to another and I concluding you must be using some type of healing magic." She answers, already summoning another sword as the male in front of her lets out a chuckle
"Hehe~ Directly on the jewel Erza, any wound you land on me will instantly heal right after you attack me." He says, holding out his arms as yellow energy covers his arm
"And unlike you, I can survive most attacks."
With that said, he holds out the arm as a yellow energy javelin shoots directly towards Erza as her eyes widen in slight surprise as she manages to dodge the attack before immediately dodging another one before noticing dozens of them shooting right after her. Gritting her teeth, she makes a beeline towards the male in front of her while simultaneously dodging any javelin coming towards her. Gripping her katana, she slides under a blade before looking up brings her sword back as he looks down at her with a smirk. Eyes widening, Erza has a large sword erupt from the ground act as a shield and get in between her and Jellal as said mage lets off an attack right in between them as a golden explosion could been seen in front of the cracking sword while the light shines around said sword while shockwaves erupt from all around.
Feeling the attack subside, Erza was about the let the word down before she was kicked in the head full force and slammed into the sword in front of her. Head ringing, she couldn't process how another energy attack was formed in front of her chest as she was blasted back as she skids across the ground. On her knees, the warrior shakes her head to regain her balance and summons two blades into her hands and spins them around as Jellal summons another sword as a large grin crosses his face as he dashes and swings at her, in which she blocks.
With this, the two engage in another clashing fest though this time Erza dodges a swing and places her hand onto the blue haired man's shoulder and jumps behind him and has a one of her blade stab themselves into his back and spinning him around and unleashing a bunch of stabs into his chest and stomach before slicing at his face and summons a sword from the ground and has it go through his stomach and push him backwards. However, he merely smirks as the wounds heal as he holds out his hand as balls of magic cover them. Throwing his hand out like he would a ball, each ball of magic is launches at Erza as she slices the magic around her as she runs over towards the mage as she claps her hands and has two swords pierce him in the back.
"Tch! I can't keep going like this or I'll run out of energy before he even loses more than 70% of his!" She thinks to herself as she gets in front of him. "I need to get ride of his heart and brain, if I don't he'll end up killing me if he continues using his magic!"
With that said Erza swings upwards with her sword, slicing him as blood splashed from the wound but before she could react Jellal had kneed her in the stomach somehow as she coughs out blood. He wasn't done there, as he grabs her by the face and launches her across the island before dashing at her and grabbing her by the face once more and slamming her body into the ground...over...and over until a large crater is formed in the island. Spitting up blood, Erza attempts to send a blade from the ground but she was dropped a little before she was kicked in her stomach by a magic empowered kick to her torso, breaking a couple of her ribs and cracking that section of her armor.
"GAH!" She cries out before a magic empowered punch was aimed towards her, though luckily she managed to dodge last second and kick her opponent across the face
Spinning onto her feet, Erza dashes up and throws a punch and connects with Jellal's jaw, knocking his head back. She wasn't done, as she delivers two more punches at his face before elbowing him in his chest and jumping up and kneeing him in the chin before bringing down an axe kick whilst in the air but that was blocked by a grinning Jellal. Getting back on the ground, she was met by a punch in the chest by the mage in front of her but she stood her ground and threw a punch at him, but it was blocked. Narrowing their eyes, the two begin to engage in a clash of punches, kicks, knees, and even headbutts as the other tries getting the upper hand on the other; though it eventually had Jellal roundhouse her across the face and a few feet away as he dashes at her, knees her in the stomach, and putting her into the ground and unleashing a blast as the ground implodes in golden energy as Erza was sent across the plain.
Getting up, Erza wipes away her bloody mouth and nose before snapping her fingers as what could be counted as thousands of swords swarm themselves in the sky and circling themselves above Jellal like a tornado.
"Dance my blades!" Erza exclaims, holding her arm out with an open palm
As if on cue, all the blades immediately shoot towards Jellal as manages to dodge a couple of them but the speed of the continuous blades overwhelm him as he begins getting cut up rapidly as some even impale him in various parts of his body before he widens his eyes, causing a golden light to envelop him as a large explosion erupts around it, destroying all the blades and even that part of the island as water begins flooding in a little. However, that wasn't the worst part as he begins to feel vibrations in the ground ever so slightly as he looks down. Widening his eyes, he was about to dodge before...
*SMASH!* *SPLATTER!*
He was sliced in half as a sword, probably as tall of a mountain suddenly erupted from the ground as about half of the island is now slashed in half while the sea around it begins to flood said island as the ground in of itself begins to crack and break from the pressure. Meanwhile, on the ground stood an closed palm Erza as she quickly summoned a sword in her hand and jumps up onto the large blade; running up the sword at blinding speeds she manages to jump above the upper half of Jellal and wastes no time in slicing him up into small pieces until he was nothing but pieces of flesh and blood.
A few seconds later, she lands onto the ground as the lower half of Jellal falls right behind her; swiping the blade on her arm and getting the blood off, the redhead looks around at the destroyed island as her giant sword kept half on one side and the other meters from the other as water from the sea around the island poured in to sink a few inches of the and and it didn't help the many craters and indents in the ground as well. Safe to say, this island was a mess.
Hell, even Erza didn't look to hot herself. Her armor was nearly broken aside from her breastplate and her right shoulder plate as the rest were destroyed or in shamble son her torso, her cloak was gone the moment the battle started so that was out of the picture, her gloves were in tatters, her leggings she had wore were ripped all to hell as he boots even were ripped up a bit.
"Finally..." She sighs out. "It's finally over...but now I just need to get this part of his body back to base and call off the backu-
"What was that Erza about it being over?"
Eyes widening and pupils dilating, Erza quickly turns around but was met with a slash across her face from a now shirtless and slightly scarred Jellal with a small blade in his arm as he looked at her with a smirk before he kicks her backwards and into a boulder. Erza, still in shock, suddenly feels agonizing pain shooting through her right eye as she slowly reaches up to touch it...only to find it wasn't there and only remained a slash of blood dripping down the side of her face.
"Hehe, you really thought that would kill me with just that Erza? Come on!" He says as he walks towards the sitting woman. However, she merely narrowed her eye and grit her teeth in anger as she hold out her hand to summon for a blade...
*SQUELCH!* *SPLASH!*
With a gasp of shock, Erza's fingers to her left hand are cut off by Jellal's newly summoned, and much larger, blade while her whole right arm is cut up and now laying limp on her side in what didn't seem like a second. Despite this pain though, Erza just thought nothing of the pain and went jumped up at the mage as she summoned a sword into her mouth, but he just grabs her by the shoulder and shakes his head
"Come on Erza, with how you are now that is nowhere near what you could do minutes ago. Shame really..." He says before bringing her over and kneeing her in the gut, making her vomit out blood as he looks at her with a rather sadistic grin on his face.
"Cause now you'll never be able to counter my Grand Chariot."
Punching Erza away, the blue haired male brings out his hands and puts them together as only his index and and middle fingers are spread out as what looked to be golden seals erupt into the form of a constellation before him before several beams of light shoot from he sky and onto the island, damn near destroying it as Erza is hit full force with most of the beams while getting hit by the shockwaves of the others.
After minutes of this spell continuing, Jellal puts his hands down and looks around at the nearly destroyed island before looking towards a barely conscious Erza on the ground. Aside from her now missing eye, useless arm and loss of fingers she was now on her back as her scarlet hair rested messily across the ground as blood and other marks burned across her body. Her top was completely blown off, revealing her bare chest to the world as her gloves also seemed to come off, though her black leggings were barely in condition and she had no more boots. All in all, she was riding on deaths door due to the last attack and made any form of strength to get up, but none worked as her both just laid on the ground
"Huh, still aren't dead yet? Guess that'll have to change soon." The mage remarks before casually strolling over towards Erza's defeated body
"Before you die, I would like to let you know something. Only your mother could possibly keep up with me in a full on fight and you...managed to push me nearly to using 70% of my power, so congrats Scarlet; you're definitely stronger than I thought and pushed me to my limit. Because of our deal, I'll leave the location of the weapon on your island and we'll see what goes on from there, see you in the afterlife." Jellal says, voice having a pinch of sadness as he summons a sword in his hand
"Goodbye."
With that said, he impales the woman through the heart, as it takes it's last beat and as the redhead takes her last breath...Erza Scarlet was now officially dead.

Erza immediately bolts up awake as her eyes widens and sits up from her laying position; panting softly before reaching up to her right and and clenching her left hand and sighs in relief to find them still there. Thanking whatever Gods, she quickly looks around to notice something...she was in the middle of a purely white area.
"Am...Am I dead...?" She questions, looking around faster as slow but sure panic begins filling her
"Hello? Is anyone there?! Can you hear me?!"
Unfortunately she gets no respond and for what feels like hours still gets none as she runs around the ever lasting whiteness before collapsing onto the ground, running a hand through her scarlet locks as she sits to think to herself.
"I really am dead..." She gets out, voice slightly wavering before she closes her eyes. "At least...everyone will get the answers soon; I just hope...that I won't be by myself for the who knows how long in this place." She mutters before she opens her eyes...
...To reveal a woman looking exactly the same as her, though this one looked more...wild and monster like as her red hair was more messy and spikey as she had scales covering her entire body; hell, she even had slits for eyes, a tail, and spikes coming from her body. Erza was initially going to attack before realizing she couldn't summon her sword and just looked at the creature that now had her hand out towards her.
Confused, she realizing that there's nothing else she could possibly do at the moment before she suddenly feels...compelled and tempted to touch this person and after thinking over it and letting her curiosity consume her, reaches her hand out and grabbing the creatures, making it smirk as pure and utter...rage and power began flowing through the redhead's veins. Confused and alarmed, Erza tries to pull from the grasp but was unsuccessful as the creatures morphs into red energy and envelops the warrior's body as said person leans back...
...Before hunching forward a little to show off the same eyes the creature had.
Back with Jellal:
The blue haired warrior was currently walking away from Erza's body as a deathly silence looms the air, as it hasn't even been a few minutes since he has committed the act. Despite doing so, he actually had a ping of sadness in him at the thought of killing his old friend and "rival", though he immediately pushed those thoughts down and teleports his blade away and was going to jump off the island to another piece of land...
"RRRRROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAARRRRR!"
Eyes widening in shock, the ruler looks behind him as a red and black energy begins to literally shoot out of Erza's body as powerful shockwaves are pushed off of her as the ground around her begins to erode and get blown away as the water around the island is pushed back at full force as well; speaking of the body, it slowly begins levitating off the ground as Erza's mouth is open as what one could assume as sharp teeth and fangs appear in her mouth while her eyes glow a red color as well. In a slow yet fast motion, black and red scales begins to form on the warrior's arms and torso while you can see some form through the leggings she wore as well; on top of that two horns begins to grow out her head of similar color to her to her scales as small spikes begins to form on the back of her arms as two large dragon wings sprout from her back of the same color of everything else. Safe to safe, Erza looked like a dragon humanized and her red slits for eyes were glaring daggers at Jellal.
"Er-" The mage tries getting out but was intercepted by a punch to0 his face
The resulting attack causes large shockwaves erupt from behind him as he is launched all the way through the giant sword and towards the edge of the island. Rubbing where he was struck and quickly healing it, he spots Erza flying directly at him with a pulled back fist so he crouches a little as he is enveloped in a golden light as he increases his speed and dodges the attack last second. Blinking in surprise, he puts his arms up to block a strike from Erza-who just turned around and kicked him-but was kicked across the face with her other leg before she grabs him by the face and slams him into the ground. All of a sudden she opens her mouth as a red energy fills her mouth while the same energy begins to glow in her horns and, sensing an incoming attack, closes his hands once more as his "Grand Chariot" is activated once more.
In an instant, multiple beams of light shoot down from the sky and begins to attack the surrounding area as multiple beams shoot directly onto Erza, but she covers her body with her dragon wings before throwing the blue haired mage into the sky and swiping her hand as a shockwave in the shape of a slice is launched towards the mage but he dodges. Holding his his hand, several beams of energy is shot towards the dragon girl but she merely jumps through them and punches Jellal in the stomach and higher into the sky; she wasn't done there as she flies higher than him and grabs him by his face and throwing him back into the ground before dropping down onto his stomach forcefully before continuously jumping on his torso as if he was a trampoline.
Letting out multiple gasps of pain, Jellal raises his hand to shoot some magic but his arm was grabbed by the warrior and, with a sickening crunch, is shattered before the arm is pulled out of it's socket. Eyes widening in shock, the redhead then shoves a fist through his chest and grabs the insides before lifting him up and begins slamming down on the ground before lifting him up and slamming him back down in repeat. Glaring now, the ruler manages to kick the girl twice qnd has her release him from her grip before performing an up close "Grand Chariot" right into her torso and knocking her back a few yards before holding out his remaining hand as dozens of pillars of sharp golden energy forms behind him before he clenches his hand and has each one shoot directly into the girl, causing a large explosion as a huge crater is formed from the attack.
Jellal, wincing in pain, begins healing himself though he pants and begins spitting up blood. Now having his arm back and clenching it and feeling his now healed torso, he gets into battle position as Erza begins to crawl out of the crater with a snarl and growl.
"I can't keep taking damage like this...I maybe can take only another serious injury before my healing starts wearing off..." He thinks to himself as he watches Erza walking towards him as red and black energy coats her arms
"I don't know what happened to her...but whatever it did actually is gonna make me use my ultimate technique." He thinks as a grin crosses his features while a golden light incases his hand
Dashing towards the dragon girl as his aura blazes golden, the redhead does the same as her aura blazes red and black. She attempts to strike him in his face, but he ducks last second before placing an open palm on her stomach.
"SEMA CREATION!"
With that exclamation, he removes his hand as a seal places itself onto Erza's body though she brings her fist back and...
*SPLASH!* *SQUELCH!*
Jellal was impales through his chest, his heart in her hand as it is crushed immediately while he throws up blood before getting onto his knees as his heal works immediately on repairing his body. Growling, Erza gathers up energy in her hand was about to blast him before a rock shoots itself towards her; though this doesn't affect her, what does is the multiple series of earth coming towards her as she was lifted into the sky as earth from the island and from the sea and what could only be assumed to be from other island's nearby begins coating her body as her eyes widens in complete shock and anger.
Smirking to himself, Jellal's chest finally heals as he wobbles to his feet and looks up...to see what could be assume to be a country sized meteor is in the sky.
"What'd you know, I managed to do it." He tells himself as he lifts his right hand up while extending his index and middle finger and was about to bring them down...
...Before a fist bursts through the meteor as Erza starts to tear herself out of the the giant meteor as the meteor attempts to keep her in as it repairs itself constantly but it was no use as she was just ripping or blasting herself out. On the ground, Jellal stood in surprise before immediately bringing his fingers down...causing a meteor to be summoned from the sky and drop onto the previous meteor as Erza tries to blast her way through the whole thing...
...But it was too late as the meteors clash onto the somehow still surviving island as everything is destroyed in an instant via a huge explosion being created as large shockwaves tera everything and anything apart in a large radius as this goes on for minutes on end. Once everything was said and done, one what remained of the sunken island in a large crater in the sea rose a fist from Erza as she tears herself off the ground whilst panting harshly. Sniffing the air, she looks up in the sky to find Jellal up there, heavily damaged and injured as he was relocating his arms.
"Damn, that didn't even kill you! I can barely even use my magic now...screw it." He announces before bringing his hands back and placing a fist onto an open palm while a golden light covers his body
Seeing this, Erza wastes no time in opening her mouth and charging a energy in there and into her horns as both charges their respective blasts in order to finish this fight once and for all. A couple seconds later, the two unleash rather large attacks as the resulting clash creates even larger shockwaves as the ground begins to crack and break while the rocks begin to levitate fiercely. Pouring whatever magic they have left, the two widens their eyes as the blast explodes into a large light of gold and red as the two dash towards each other with one last punch...
...But Erza's transformation wears off just as she was about to land a strike onto Jellal; eyes widening in surprise, she was met with a punch as she was launched into the ground with enough force to create a small crater, laying there unconscious as her opponent falls onto his knees and spit out blood while holding his stomach.
"Tch, I have no energy left; I need to rest up for a bit and let myself heal..." He remarks before looking at Erza with narrowed eyes. "What the hell was that?"
"JELLAL!"
Eyes widening, he couldn't dodge a sudden magic attack as he is forces onto his stomach suddenly as the gravity suddenly increased to ridiculous amounts.
"Gravity...increase..." He mutters before he was grabbed by his hair and pulled back...
...To be greeted by the glaring face of Kagura; looking around he noticed she was not the only one there, as hundred to thousands of people in boats and on land were around the island pointing weapons at him as Mirajane and Millianna were rushing towards Erza with worry on their faces as they pick her up and rushes her off towards a boat. Blinking in surprise, he was soon greeting by the glaring face of Irene Belserion walking up towards him and Kagura.
"Hello Jellal..." She snarls out before narrowing her eyes at him. "So, would you like to answer the questions we have for you?"
Timeskip:
It was a beautiful day on the island of Desrossa, birds are singing and the flowers are blooming while it's people walk around do whatever. But, inside a hospital laid a nearly fully healed Erza in a bed as she slept for recovery. However, that would change as the woman begins to slowly open her eyes before shooting up inher bed, startling the person right next to her bed who was sleeping.
"Ah! Jeez Erza don't do that I nearly blasted you!" She exclaims in surprise as Erza looks at her in shock
"Mira?! What happened?! Where am I?!" The redhead asks the whitehead who points at her
"Oh, we're at the hospital. You suffered serious injuries to your body during your fight with Jellal and you had to be put into medical care for a week; don't you remember?" Mira tells her, making the red head widen her eyes before reaching up her head and feeling her fingers, and sighing in relief when she saw they were still there before frowning
"Not...really; one minute I'm about to die then the next I just saw white...and now I'm here." Was the sword wielders response as before her eyes widen and immediately looking towards her friend
"What ever happened to Jellal?! IS he still alive?!" She asks, making Mira frown a little
"Well..."
Flashback a Week:
At the moment, Erza had been taken into a nearby boat by Mirajane and Millianna as they were being shipped back to Desrossa while all the other warriors were standing guard at the edges of whatever remained of the island as Kagura had Jellal with a sword to his neck and Irene pointing a staff to his neck.
"What'd you know, Erza is truly something; informing you guys of our battle and giving you a locations to where were are going to be fighting in case of backup..." Jellal compliments witha grin on his face, though he is pricked on the neck by Kagura
"Don't you forget Jellal, we currently have you as a hostage so I suggest you tell us anything and everything you know. Starting with what was that large magic energy that was in this direction." The redhead asks with a glare, making Jellal shrug
"I'd tell you...but I don't even know." He answers, making Kagura snarl and slicing his neck a little, drawing blood as it drips down his body and onto the ground
"What do you mean you don't know...?" The sword wielder questions dangerously
"I actually don't know, I beat Erza and...admittedly...had her dead on the ground." He pauses a little when he notices the death glares that Irene and Kagura and Kagura were giving him as the latter was ready to impale him right then and there. "But then the next moment she becomes like a dragon and unleashes a power I haven't seen in years; I don't even know where it came from to be honest."
Hearing that made Irene widen her eyes in surprise before shaking her head and returning her glare on Jellal.
"Alright then, so I know about the deal you and Erza made and you don't look like one to not honor one; so how about you tell us where that weapon of yours is or...well Kagura will sure have fun with you. Call it payback for her arm." Irene states as said person glares at the mage in her hold
"Umm, that isn't a good idea you know; my healing is currently depleted and I wouldn't want to imagine what could happen if I die." He remarks with a smirk, though he does a sharp inhale when a sword impaled him in his chest just centimeters from his heart
"Wanna bet?" Kagura asks, though Jellal keeps his smirk as the blade goes deeper into his skin
"Sure, if you want the weapon to go off and destroy this entire continent cause guess what? I made myself into the weapon so once I completely die I will go boom and EVRYTHING IS GONE HAHAHAHAHA! "
Hearing this, made Irene and Kagura go white in fear as their eyes widen in shock. Kagura was actually even shaking her blade a little as she tries denying it as both come to one conclusion...Jellal wasn't lying.
Back with Erza and Mira:
With she was done, Mirajane sighs out as she closes her eyes.
"Hearing that...made everyone go crazy; since we couldn't kill him or even damage him greatly without that risk we just tied him up and took him back here and into the underground prison's and after we gave him treatment we threw him there and locked him up. He can't use his magic due to a drug we injected in him and he won't be escaping, as we put him in a straightjacket so he can't use his arms." She finishes before opening her eyes...only to notice Erza had fled the scene as the door was open
"...Heh, guess still still hungry huh." Mira says with a sad giggle
With Erza:
Erza was current dashing through the underground prison, passing cages upon cages of dangerous criminals though she wobbled every now and then. She was still in the average teal dressing a hospital would give, but she had one of her arms in a cast and half her face bandaged while she needed to grab a crutch because of a leg injury she somehow sustained but despite this, still still ran down the prison as she searched through the names before reaching the end of the hall...and seeing Jellal's name on the door. Narrowing her eyes, she summoned a key and forced herself in to see the ruler on the floor tied up as he looks at her with a grin.
"Erza! What do I owe the pleasure?!" He asks, but she only glare at him
"Tell me...how are you the weapon?!" She exclaims in anger, making him sigh
"I should've guessed you would've asked. Alright, it happened because the higher ups wanted a weapon and since I was the strongest at the moment, they decided to experiment and places highly destructive particles into my body that reacts whenever I give a command. In all honesty, I could've blow up during our fight and you would've died and I would live because of my healing magic. But there was also a safety measure, if I am ever in a situation where I'm about to die the I would blow up and exterminate everything around me. I'm a literal bomb and if you could kill me all of us would be dead." He tells the redhead, shocking her
"Wait...so i would've lost either way...there was no way to win?" She remarks as he nods
"Yep! Though it all ended well enough, though I didn't expect you to use that transformation of yours in the middle of the fight!' He exclaims, confusing her
"Transformation?" She repeats
"Yeah, you became a dragon creature and beat my ass damn near...you can't recall that. Well I guess you don't huh." He remarks, making her sigh and begin to walk away
"Huh, why leaving so soon?"
"I just learnt that your a weapon of mass destruction and I just acquired some transformation; I'm going to lay down for a little to clear my head if you don't mind."
With that said, Erza walks out the door, leaving a smirking Jellal as his grin ever so widens.
"Poor people, they have no idea what's coming."
On Some Island:
The island castle was in shambles, people were lying dead around everywhere as flames had erupted all around. The reason, a single person has been walking through and killing various people who dared to attack him as anyone else shook in complete fear.
He was pretty tall and what some people would call the embodiment of sex appeal' He was a dark skinned male with long blue spikey hair that reached down to his legs with a ferocious look in his eyes with rather sharp teeth and blue markings covering his body, most notably his face and arms. He wore a black cloak with black baggy yet ripped up pants and was barefoot. This man was Acnologia, the secret ruler of the Combatants and at the moment he was wiping out one of Desrossa's allies islands.
"Huh, looks like Jellal's captured or dead. Guess I should make my return after all..." He remarks with a vicious laugh as he glows in a blue aura, making people drop to the ground in fear of his power as other rush him
"I'll be excited to see how Irene could handle the Dragon King...the true phase of this war is about to begin!" He shouts before he lets loose an explosion, destroying the entire island before jumping up and becoming a full on dragon
With a fanged smirk, he flies off towards his island, excited for the future.

Erza: *Glaring at him* Not to complain, but it took you long enough
*Shocked* What the...how did you-you know what I'm not even gonna question it anymore. *Looks at the readers* Sorry for the long wait guys, writers block was a thing and just didn't want to complete it...
Erza: Yeah, you had a 1/4th of this chapter done for over a month when this was meant to come out alongside the first chapter
...Yeah...But got it out and that is all that matters!
Erza: *Sighs*
Anyways I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! Now I know some are asking "Why is Jellal alive? He should be dead!" and normally I would agree...if in the middle of writing this I decided to still wanted to tell a story with this universe and decided to let him live for the next chapter! Which i do not know when will come out!
