"What is so important that you needed to call a meeting now Hawkfrost? It's lunch break and I'm starving!"
"Youll see, Mapleshade." I rolled my eyes pointedly at him.
"And if you want us to clean your leather boots again, then I'm out of here," Shredtail muttered.
"I've spoken with Tigerstar and Brokenstar and-"
"Tigerstar and Brokenstar!? They were in the Dark Forest gang when they were in school!" I exclaimed.
"Exactly," Hawkfrost said slyly. "They want us to get more recruits. We have something we must do. We must make them think that coming here will help them control their emotions, but we shall hone them instead." I looked around the people here. I didn't realize how many of us have left... I thought. This must be done...
After lunch, I had Chemistry. My lab partner, Ivypool, was in a bad mood, as usual, and was venting everything to me. Being the nice person that I am, I listened patiently.
"I mean, why does everyone treat her like she's some sort of star!? I am just as good as her!" Ivypool sniffed. This is my chance!
"Well, have you heard of the Dark Forest Gang?"
"Yeah..."
"We respect each other there." I pass her a sheet of paper with my number on it as the bell rang. "Text me when you decide."
