CHAPTER 1

Ring...Rrriinnngggg...

The alarm went off sharply at 7 in the morning, startling awake a barely asleep Bella. Frustrated, she moves her hand to the desk near the bed to turn it off. God, I hate waking up.

But the reason she was waking up this early on a holiday brought a huge grin on her face. She was going to spend the holidays with her boyfriend and his mother.Oh! How happy that made her.

Spending the holiday with her loved ones. Mmm.. loved ones. She loved him. So much. And she planned on letting him know that. Maybe on Christmas morning.

She did not have to worry about his reaction to it. He was not some average college boy who ran in the opposite direction when he heard the word commitment. She knew that he felt the same way about her atleast to an extent. That thought made the grin on her face even bigger

Beep.. Beep...

Another wide smile threatened to break free as she heard the phone ringing. She knew who it was even before she went to get the phone.

Her Edward. Hers.

"Morning, babe". He said and eventhough she was not able to see him, she knew his face contained the damned crooked grin that had the ability to instantly make any girl's heart flutter.

"Good morning, Edward." She said wishing that he was here at her side holding her hand or kissing her cheek.

"Have you had your breakfast yet?", she asked knowing full well that he wouldn't have eaten anything.

"Nope. Not yet", he said, voice tinged with amusement knowing what she was about to suggest.

"Well, if it's okay with you, how about we meet at the Café for coffee before starting the drive?" she asked, not caring that she was nearly begging him. Well, I have not seen him in nearly 36 hours.

"Um, I don't think so, Bella. I have some errands to run." Although, Edward felt bad, he had to refuse her. Well, it would all be understood when he gave her her gift. He sincerely hoped that she loved it. Loved him.

"Oh." The disappointment was apparent in her voice as she said it. It was obvious she wanted to spend more time with him. Especially after their last date. The memories of that night flooded her mind making her face heat up. No, Bella. Dangerous territory to venture into.

"Well, you get to choose the music while driving." He said, desparately wanting her to cheer up. Eventhough he would regret it later, it was worth making her happy. So fucking whipped,dude.

She laughed at his attempt to cheer her up as soon he realized she was saddened by his rejection. She loved this man so much.

"Can't wait". And she really couldn't wait.

So, here it is. I know it is short but it gives us some knowledge about our favorite couple. Do not worry folks. We will be catching up with the prologue real soon (a couple of chapters or so).
