"I don't think I like your attitude son." Bud said to Eric. I whacked Eric on the the side of his leg, a hint to keep his trap shut.

"I am really sorry Sheriff, a lot of personal changes have happened. Eric's just a little over protective of me right now." I tell him.

"Uh-Hu. Can I speak with you in private Sookie, I'm off duty but I've none ya'll a long ti-"

"I can but Eric comes." I tell him. I like Bud more than Andy.

"Sam can we use your office?" I ask him, he nods. With that Eric, myself and Bud move to Sam's office, away from the prying eyes of Bon Temp's gossiping Harpies and judgmental minds.

Bud shut the door.

"Now I've been around a real long time and seen, even hear a lot of bull crap. I've also known Adele a long time, and your grandfather was my best friend. I'm guessing something went down I have a theory as to why you aren't living with her any more. But I want to hear it from you first why you are living with a stranger from Shreveport. Something isn't adding up." Bud is currently sat behind Sam's desk and me and Eric sat in the spare chairs. I took a deep breath!

"Sookie..." Eric warned.

"What am I aloud to say?" I turn to ask him.

"Why would you need his permission to speak?" Bud asked.

"It's not as simple as you think." Eric told him in a cold voice, his arms folded across his chest.

"And what involvement is yours in this?" Bud asked him, narrowing his eyes.

"None of your business. I don't usually have this much involvement... in certain things. Sookie is different. She is mine, as I am hers. That's all you need to know on my involvement in this."

"Sookie, is this true what this man is saying?" Bud asks.

"Yes! I am not staying at the house any more and I am not ready to see Adele; due to some recent revelations and home truths that came to light." I glance at Eric again, and notice Bud was also watching him closely too.

"I feel like I think I know what those revelations are..." Bud said. I looked at him in shock.

"You do?" I ask. Even Eric looked like he found a mild interest in what he had to say.

"Your grandfather came to me rather upset one day. He couldn't have children due to an illness he had; since he was born and so it was a massive shock to him when Adele told him the impossible, that she is pregnant with his child. It turned out she'd been having an affair with a mystery man behind his back when he was away working." I don't know why I felt so shocked by this. I shook my head! I glanced at Eric, who shook his head in warning. I glanced back at Bud.

"I'm-"

"Sookie... think carefully." Eric warned.

"People are going to find out anyway Eric... it's a small town. I'm surprised this hasn't gotten out?" I looked too Bud, who head was turning backwards and forwards between me and Eric as if he was watching a Tennis match.

"That is simple. Your grandfather decided to go along with it. It wasn't easy for him to trust her again, their marriage basically ended then; but kept that inside the house. I don't think even Maxine Fortenberry new about this one. Adele likes to keep up that perfect Christian woman persona. What are people going to find out Sookie?"

"I don't think it is wise." Eric said.

"Eric, Andy already knows. I snapped when I asked him not to call me a Stackhouse."

"I Merlotte already informed me. We should be careful Sookie. You know you can't reveal too much of the situation, and you know why. The less people know, the less complicated it will be."

"I'm not sure I like the sound of this. You sure you not in any trouble Sookie?" Bud asked.

"Just family stuff Bud. Yes I did ask Andy not to call me a Stackhouse. Adele's lied to me my whole life. Kept secrets from me, ones I should have known and be apart of. You know it's no secret I'm a little different to everyone else in this town. Those secrets would have helped me understand myself a bit more. She's the one person who knows how much I have struggled and how hard I've had to fight to stay above everyone else, so I didn't sink and hit rock bottom!"

"I always new there was a darker side to Adele. I never stayed around after Earl passed, because I felt so angry for him, for you kids growing up with a woman pretending to be one thing, but some of us know she's the complete opposite. I don't know if she ever told you but Earl made me your godfather. It's a shame what happened to yours and Jason's folks."

I leaned back into my chair as if I'd been slapped, the shock must have shown on my face. I suddenly realised I've not lost just two people who I thought was parents, but a third. I had no idea existed until recently. I closed my eyes!

"I think we should leave." Eric's voice brought me back to reality.

"Arlene's gonna kill me."

"She wont." Bud and Eric said at the same time.

"Will you tell me why my words affected you in such away?"

"She's not a Stackhouse, she's a Brigant. Adele Stackhouse has done more damage than I originally thought." A new voice said, my father from behind Bud who leaped up in the air in shock. I don't know what happened; but I became so overcome with emotion that I rushed to him, and he embraced me as I broke down in tears, in his arms. We stood like that for a few minuets.

"Who, how, wha-what? The?" Bud stuttered.

"Shut up!" Eric snapped at him. Clearly annoyed with the human Sheriff finding out. He would have seen my father come through the office door. But he obviously didn't and arrived his way.

"H-How, wh-who?" I don't think I've ever seen Bud so shocked and lost for words.

I suddenly felt like my stomach had left my body and the next thing I know, I'm standing in Eric's arms. What the fuck was that? I must have said it out loud.

"The way I came in. Your first taste of our transportation."

"Brigant there's a fucking human in the room. Has old age finally caught up with you mentally?" Eric hissed at him clearly pissed off.

"This man claims to be my daughters godfather V-Northman. He's a man of the human law, as we are of ours. I believe, and have been informed we can trust him. I can feel when my blood is distressed. Sookie is my daughter. I haven't felt that much pain accept for my own, since her mother passed. What happened? It brought me here." He sat down in the chair I was in, casually as if he'd just been speaking about the weather. Eric sat me down with him, and I'm not going to lie I felt a little uncomfortable. But after that stunt my father pulled I don't think Eric was letting me go any time soon. I could feel the anger rolling off of him in waves, as he held on to me with both arms wrapped around my waist. His chin resting on my shoulder.

"I don't think I've ever seen a human so stunned. I'm surprised his heart didn't give out!" My father said, as he looked at each of us.

"Now; as I am sure you are aware by now, Sheriff Dearbourne. I didn't come in the natural way. Sookie is my biological daughter. I wont reveal what Northman is as that is his story to tell and his kind have there own rules and politics on this matter. I will also be casting a spell on you so you can not reveal this to anyone else after you leave through that door and back into the bar. This room is now sound proof and will be until we all leave."

"Unfortunately you'll be seeing a lot of Northman with Sookie around here whilst she still works at Merlotte's much to my dismay. But we can't change what path those above us have created for our life's journey. I fear it would have happened regardless of how things had turned out to be,

I'm revealing this to you because of your roll on earth and your connection to my daughter. I'm King of the sky fae, fairies. Yes we are real! Sookie is half fairy."

"I must have fainted... this has to be all a bad dream?" Bud managed to get out.

"I can assure you, you are very much awake, you aren't having a nightmare."

"As in Tinkerbell?" Bud managed to say. My father looked offended.

"Do I look like a tiny person with wings attached to it, holding a wand and sprinkling fairy dust?"

Bud shook his head.

"Now listen very carefully human because I wont be repeating any of this twice, to either you or Northman." Bud nodded.

"Yes fairies are real, yes I am king, yes Sookie is my daughter. Yes I do not reside on earth. Am I breaking rules that I helped create? Yes. But I believe this was unavoidable. If you weren't Sookie's godfather which I will need proof of, even though it's been confirmed. I wouldn't be here now."

"Why do you need proof if you already have it?" I ask him confused.

"Just to be extra safe." He said looking at me. Eric still hadn't said a word.

"Really Northman? Are you going to sit there in silence seething? I wasn't going to take her. I simple sped things up a bit. If I wanted to take Sookie, she'd be in the palace with me right now."

"Fuck off." Is all Eric managed to get out. He really was beyond pissed."

"Fucking fairies!" He mumbled.

"Hey!" I hit his arm.

"Not you."

Hehe :) Well this was a surprising turn of events.
What did you all think?

I feel like a complete idiot! I hope I'm not the only one, but has anyone else accidentally forgot where their phone is and find it spinning in the washing machine?

Thankfully we where able to get it out, and surprisingly it still works! I was more worried about losing my photos than anything else. Don't care that it's got a nice crack down the back of it! As long as my photo's are safe still that's all that matter's to me.

I don't have Facebook or Instagram - Yup! I know, I'm weird right? I'm in my early thirties. Just not a huge fan of social media, so I have no other access to my photos, but my phone.

I deleted Facebook this year and it's the best thing I ever did!

Hope you are all well around the world :)

Thank you so much for over ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY reviews :) It means so much to me that you are all enjoying my version of a Eric and Sookie romance story.

See you all Friday :)
